They also have a great relationship with Microsoft that helps get more serious issues solved. **What do you dislike about Velosio?** When they bill for things that seem insubstantial or not warranted. Examples - Assigning a ticket creates a charge of $50.00 or more. This frustrates the client as it is seen as unwarranted. It also reflects poorly on their skill in that this is not an automated process. The team is selected by the user when setting up the ticket and it would be easy to create an automation for this. Another example is their "Review" charges anytime development is involved. This occurs even when they are just sending an update. **Recommendations to others considering Velosio:** You should come prepared with your specific needs and requirements. Realize that if you do not have this it will take more time. If you need help in this area, spend the money with Velosio to have them delve into your issue and suggest solutions. Their team members have broader experience and I think this often gives a better solution. **What problems is Velosio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Velosio assists us on Field Service and Business Central when our internal team finds the issue outside of our scope. ### 2. They also have worked with us to allow us to handle a lot of the project that would most often be handled by the VAR. **What do you dislike about Velosio?** Paying for a project manager's time on the Velosio side. It's an overhead cost of doing business and what your project manager does to help keep your employees on track shouldn't be our responsibility nor should they be charged at the same rate as a consultant. **Recommendations to others considering Velosio:** Have a good project manager on your side who can keep the project moving. Costs can quickly escalate with the additional time charged for project management. Know your business and its processes well. Sometimes the new terms and technology can be overwhelming, and consultants can only understand your business to the degree you're able to explain it. **What problems is Velosio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Assistance with implementing Dynamics F&O and CE. Help with integrating the two systems using dual write. Teaching us as well as offering the assistance needed. ### 3. One of the difficult aspects is when we have to create a ticket explaining our issue that takes time and effort and then we feel there is a chance there is a gap in the communication where the whole situation needs to be explained again over a virtual call for resolution. The first step is usually redundant and we see value in the use of AI to resolve tickets. Also, clearer billing and more accurate proposals for future work would help ongoing clients. One very important opportunity i would provide velosio helping clients is having a strong database that helps them remember what softwares, features addons clients use so they feel the value in speaking to their trusted partner and not have to explain repeatedly. **Recommendations to others considering Velosio:** Velsio is a right sized organization and they will treat you well once they know you. They sometimes need to be pushed for out of the box solutions but once you work with the architecture they become trusted partners. They are easy to work with. **What problems is Velosio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Velosio is supporting our Accounting software on the their cloud and they support us with our CRM. They are also supporting us in the review and implementation of future accounting software ### 4. If we need to call support, they are available at all times. **What do you dislike about Velosio?** I do not recall having any negative feelings toward Velosio. Everyone we have worked with has been super helpful! **Recommendations to others considering Velosio:** I would suggest that people really communicate with their customer service representative or support team when they reach out. Velosio is there to help and is very communicative when it comes to commencing and finishing a project. **What problems is Velosio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Velosio is assisting the Kern County Department of Airports with an internal accounting system that benefits the Department by providing user-friendly modules that handle our finances. ### 5. We worked with them over the course of 8 months to do the upgrade. **What do you like best about Velosio?** They are a large company with lots of knowledgeable staff. They were able to satisfactorily upgrade our NAV system from 2015 to 2018. **What do you dislike about Velosio?** They are a large company that outsources a lot of there work. There people you speak to aren't always the ones doing the work. When your company is smaller, you don't get the attention you would normally get from a smaller partner. **Recommendations to others considering Velosio:** If you are a small company, you may want to look at a different partner. **What problems is Velosio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Velosio bought/merged the company we normally worked with. There are advantages and disadvantages working with a larger company.
