How would you rate your experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud?
I appreciate that this tool offers a fully integrated project management solution, covering everything from design and engineering to procurement, construction, and operation—all within a single platform. I also value the ability to collaborate across different disciplines, with everyone working together in the same tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am not satisfied with the design of the field tool in Build, as I find it lacking in user friendliness. From my perspective, there is a lot of potential for improvement, particularly in making the tool easier to use. It is clear that ACC was originally intended for engineers, and now there is an attempt to adapt it for construction or installation workers with the field tool in Build. However, the current design and layout still fall short of what is needed. I strongly believe that working closely with a user experience (UX) group could help make the field tool more intuitive and accessible for those who will actually be using it on the job. Here you can learn a lot from other softwares like Dalux, that has a much more intuitive user interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Autodesk Construction Cloud combines project management, design coordination, and field collaboration onto a single platform. Each team can update the drawings, models, and documentation of the projects with greatly reduced errors and delays. It allows one to track the progress made in the projects, assigning tasks and following through with deadlines. Integration of this software with other Autodesk tools and even on mobile supports the updates on-site and seamless communication between office and field teams. This has generally improved collaboration, transparency, and project delivery timelines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can seem complicated, especially to new users because it includes so many features. For some advanced reporting or analysis capabilities, training is needed in order to fully utilize them. It can become somewhat bogged down in very large project files. However, it is very reliable in terms of providing sound workflows that eliminate many user coordination requirements. I like Autodesk Construction Cloud because it has the potential to serve as a singular hub for all project related information. Autodesk is continuously adding new features to help improve productivity and communication on projects. The Design Collaboration module is a fantastic tool for Project Managers to review the design during the project without requiring prior knowledge or a license for Revit. The Model Coordination module is a great clash detection tool that I hope will begin to replace Navisworks on projects going forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there were more resources available to learn Autodesk Construction Cloud in a way that is targeted towards different roles in our industry. I wish the bridge functionality was improved and easier to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I enjoy most about the ACC is the collaboration between teams and software for projects. Some other key componets are the ease in which we maintain the project team and the profiles around the project teams for access to models. The ACC is also an easy integration for project team members who are not as fluent on the computer because the ACC is more user friendly than other options on the market. My dislikes about the ACC are the one folder setup option in the Design Collaborate module, We need to be able to swap folders as a project grows or as things change. I am also not a fan of the clash system in the ACC after getting used to Navisworks and Revizto. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One of the best collaborative platforms, offering an easy-to-use and user-friendly interface, with several advanced features including model coordination and issue management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) has some limitations, including high licensing costs, dependency on a stable internet connection, slower performance with large or complex models, limited workflow and reporting customization, basic issue management capabilities, restricted offline access, and less seamless interoperability with non-Autodesk platforms. I don't think anyone on a cloud-based platform using AutoCAD or Civil 3D can function without the ability to manage sheet sets, external references, and data shortcuts. The Autodesk Construction Cloud allows you to do that and more. I am impressed with the new features that are consistently being rolled out that are functional and useful. I also love how easy it is to access your ACC projects right within AutoCAD and Civil 3D. I also love that there are many ACC technical specialists to help customers move over to ACC seamlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only down side is that anyone using an Autodesk product must have a license to use ACC and for Civil 3D they must have a license for collaboration pro. However, many companies are getting rid of their local servers in favor of moving to cloud-based file storage. I have been seeing this trend for the last 5 years. Using ACC will give you the needed functionality with your Autodesk product workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Collaboration between multiple offices and multiple design teams from all around the world. Remote or in-house collaboration, model coordination, file management, versioning, live linking, sharing packages, consuming ... All works fine unless all design teams are on the same page and follow BEP. ACC app is also very helpful for on-site access or managing users and permission when out of the office. Being able to controll permissions for consultants and 3rd parties is a plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
BIM 360 interface had an option to upload project preview image. On ACC the project profile ID needs to be copied and go back to BIM 360 to edit the profile. Doesn't make sense. Families uploaded to ACC don't show their previews and wont display in viewer. That's a big issue to me. Why can't deleted project be deleted permanently? Can't add design team users prone numbers. As an admin I can't modify user info unless delete and re-add. But no phone # option. The same thing for Companies. No way to edit, add logo etc ...In model Coordination, I choose two models to show Automatic clashes. It shows 1040 in bottom left and 2130 in upper. It should be the same number in my opinion. Design Collaboration - Whe do we allway have to click in the three dots to open Project Timeline??? That's annoying. Library - Content Catalog features are very premature and don't give much of controll. More customization of collections would be helpful. Icons for collections folders for example and preview of the Content catalog from ACC. Missing Subfolders feature for collections is a big minus in my opinion. It's a very cheap adaptation of Unify. ACC really combines the functionality of many tools into one convenient, connected location. Rather than having to ask project partners to collaborate with us across multiple platforms we're now able to add users to one platform where they all have a personalized summary of their tasks, they can access the latest information, and they can collaborate on solving daily project challenges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ACC certainly isn't perfect. There are certain tools that would benefit from feature improvements, and Autodesk is working hard to fill those gaps.
The benefits certainly outweigh the drawbacks though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
