I've used Birdeye and Podium at previous companies I've worked for, but currently I think the best reputation management tool is ReputationStacker. Birdeye and Podium are great but they have a few distinct downsides:

1) They are both complex. They can do a lot but the learning curve is high. If you have the time to learn something new and teach it to the rest of your team then that may be fine, otherwise a lot of it will go unused or misused.

2) They're both very expensive for what you get and they lock you into long contracts. There are a lot of other options for reputation and review management, so don't get locked into something that you can't get out of if you need to.

At the company I work at now they were already using ReputationStacker when I started. I had not heard of it previously but I found it very easy to use. It has all of the reputation management and review features that Birdeye and Podium have but it costs a lot less and they don't have contracts. You can automate pretty much every part of it (review requests, review monitoring, review responses, etc) and the reports are very helpful for getting the voice of customer for each location, which really helps with coaching and setting benchmarks and service standards.

As a growing business (currently 62 locations and adding 2-4 per month) I also really like how flexible ReputationStacker is for adding locations and users and setting permissions, which is important for us.

So I would say check out Birdeye and Podium if budget is not a big concern, you'll use all of the features that you're paying for, and your team has the bandwidth and time to dive deep to learn and maintain it. And I would say check out ReputationStacker if your focus is specifically on reputation management and customer experience.
