What do you like best about Pype AutoSpecs?

The automated process of compiling a complete submittal log from the project specs is a great timesaver in setting up the project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pype AutoSpecs?

In some areas submittals are typically submitted in packages/ groups (MEP, door hardware). Also the general submittal requirements and specific submittals (general conditions/ common results) within the individual sections can produce duplicate or similar submittal requirements. These items require time for vetting prior to publishing the logs to avoid confusion with both clients and subs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Pype AutoSpecs?

Super simple to use, create a project, upload project specifications and the system will go through all the pages and create a beautiful and simple log with all the project requirements; submittals, coordination meetings, QA/QC, closeouts, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pype AutoSpecs?

The user interface can be improved and the integrations with project management systems should be improved to make it easier to move submittals and other requirements easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Pype AutoSpecs solving and how is that benefiting you?

The excessive amount of hours dedicated by our project management staff to create logs that showcase all the requirements indicated by the architectural and engineering teams. Our team is able to import the specs and within minutes, we get a log which we can then review to kickoff the submittal process at an earlier stage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Pype AutoSpecs?

For projects that are on a larger scale and tight schedule, it is a quick, easy, effective, and efficient way to create your procurement/submittal log. It was very user friendly, and doing the back check on it showed that it really did capture everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pype AutoSpecs?

The cost is hard to stomach when factoring it into your project budget. On smaller projects, it's not as cost efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As I previously mentioned, Pype is a superior product to use when on a larger scale construction project. Take into consideration the amount of time it will save the team when trying to implement more lean and efficient practices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Pype AutoSpecs solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have used this on multiple projects to have Pype quickly scan the spec book and drawings and filter it for required submittals/tests/documents, and then submit a copy to the architect to review and determine what submittals are mandatory.
