## Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) Reviews
  ### 1. Collaboration Heaven

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan S. | BIM Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

What I like best about ACC is the ability to collaborate across companies and disciplines on a project all at the same time with live active updates from all teams.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

The need for Desktop Connector (DC). We find that frequently DC gets stuck or hung up and while we know how to resolve the issue, we often lose work due to the resetting of DC which revomes local files and due to DC being hung up, the updated local files never make it to the cloud. This can at times be painful on our project budgets.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem ACC has solved for us and simultaneously working on both architecture and structural components of the model and producing construction documents.

  ### 2. Accessible Cloud Collaboration, But Constant Changes Can Disrupt Work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

I like that it is cloud based and accessible from virtually anywhere. It makes coordination and file size management easier for teams, especially on larger products that are spanning offices, states or countries in coordination.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Its ever growing and changing. Things are constantly changing without notice, or breaking and requiring troubleshooting.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coordination and file management

  ### 3. ACC's User-Friendly Interface and 3D Model Viewer Enhance Daily Workflow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Logan K. | VDC Technician , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

ACC is very easy to use and very easy to implement in my everyday work life. I enjoy the easy to use control 3D model viewer that is built in.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

One aspect of ACC that I find particularly frustrating is the lack of an option to delete or even archive projects once they are completed. Over time, this causes the list of jobs to become quite cluttered, which makes it harder to manage.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool has made it much easier for us to share models from the office to our field team. It has really streamlined the process of relaying information between the two groups.

  ### 4. Improve interdepartmental and client communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yadira D. | Project Manager., Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

It improves communication between the different departments of the company; we all receive the notification and the transmittal when design sends a plan, and each department (purchasing, construction, budgeting) can take these plans and start doing the work that corresponds to them. It has also improved our communication flow with the client, making the authorization of submittals, RFIs, and plans more agile. Being able to set an authorization period according to the contract and how easy it is to visualize and generate reports from this information helps us not lose sight of the fact that the project requires commitment from both parties (client and contractor) for the information to flow and for good results to be achieved. We have not encountered resistance from clients and subcontractors who have not previously used the tool; everyone has been able to use it because the interface is very user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

I have not had any issues using it.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have any.

  ### 5. Robust Platform That Enhances On-Site Coordination

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg B.

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

I appreciate how Autodesk Construction Cloud serves as a central hub for managing our operations on-site, integrating all subcontractors, health and safety, and quality information. The ability to review models centrally has streamlined our coordination process significantly. I find that issues and forms provide a robust foundation, allowing us to tie assets to real-world objects to offer valuable context in our projects. The platform approach is crucial as it allows us to integrate best-in-class technologies and connect various specialized tools seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

I find the rate of progress and inclusion of health and safety specifics within Autodesk Construction Cloud less than adequate. There is a need for forms and issues to be better tailored for health and safety applications. Specific information such as incident frequencies and onboarding related to safety would greatly enhance the platform's utility. Currently, these aspects feel lacking and would be a beneficial addition.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Autodesk Construction Cloud centralizes coordination on-site, enhancing communication with subcontractors and managing safety and quality. It streamlines model reviews and integrates with best-in-class technologies, providing a cohesive platform to oversee on-site information effectively.

  ### 6. Flexible Construction Cloud Platform that Keeps Projects Moving

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis T. | Data analyst, Financial Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

The platform unifies our project data, drawing, and communication into a single space easily, Team members can access models, documents and RFIs from anywhere freely on a daily basis, which keeps our field team members aligned and reduces mis-handoffs, Customer service are very active to help especially during and after integration

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Some modules feel more mature than others, More customization in reporting would be a plus

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It replaces fragmented project tools and spreadsheets, enabling real time collaboration across office and site, That's lead to fewer errors, faster approvals and better visibility into project status.

  ### 7. A robust platform for integrated project collaboration and management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roosevelt R. | BIM Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Autodesk Construction Cloud stands out for its seamless integration with other Autodesk tools, enabling fluid document, model, and team management across all project phases. The ability to access real-time information, collaborate directly in BIM models, and control revisions in a centralized environment accelerates decision-making and reduces execution errors. Its compatibility with Revit, Navisworks, and other Autodesk tools is a key asset for BIM-driven workflows.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

The main downside is the high licensing cost and the complexity of the initial setup, which often requires specialized technical support. Additionally, the platform's performance may suffer with slower internet connections, which can hinder remote work in some regions. The learning curve can also be steep for teams less familiar with the Autodesk ecosystem.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform eliminated communication gaps between teams and the inefficiency of manual version control. We now centralize models and documentation in a single environment with full traceability and real-time access. This has significantly reduced execution errors and improved productivity during review cycles and design coordination of structural and architectural projects.

  ### 8. Better multi-firm AEC collaboration using Revit, Model Coordination and Clash Detection need work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

I always have the most up to date files that I can access anywhere in the world to work efficiently in Revit. There is unlimited storage to post files, and I have successfully completed Revit Cloud Upgrades for older files with the ACC doing the work overnight. It is easy to recover backup files and re-visit previous iterations of projects.

Working from the Cloud has proven to be fairly stable, despite constantly needing more and more local computer memory and storage space to cache information for large projects.

The publish times are reasonable, even with large 4+GIG models. It is helpful to use a template for the creation of new Projects.

In the "Model Coordination" module, Automatic Clash Detection has improved with the additional ability (in Beta currently) to create multiple Issues at once from Clash Groups and filter clash groups using a shared parameter value - like "Phase Created". Typically, many Existing systems objects in a Renovation project do not need to be checked for conflicts, and this feature to sort by objects created in the Existing Phase allows us to more quickly dismiss "false clashes" and focus on new construction. We do not subscribe to the "Build" module, since we are not using the ACC for Construction Administration, but using a 30 day trial allows users to create "Issue Templates", helpful to pre-populate parameters for Issues and save time filling in repetitive information. This is supposed to also be available in the Docs Module, but I have yet to see it.

The Ability of all users to set and check the status of Coordination Issues as well as auto-generation of Issue Reports for Coordination from the ACC is extremely useful and time saving.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

A Publish-Consume workflow is outdated yet seems to be the dominant workflow in the help menu documentation-we have never used this type of collaboration since its inception. I would like to see a more robust Auto-publish feature allowing nightly publishing of files. Currently this is only possible using a 3rd party add-in or script.

The Revit Synchronize with Central (SWC) can still be slow at times, and the ACC currently does not offer a way to let other users know you have started a sync. Instead we have to rely on a Teams Chat for posting our SWC, so we do not have multiple users trying to Sync at once. The Revit internal Status Activity Indicator is not helpful in letting other users know exactly when a co-worker is performing a sync, because the status indicator is on a delay until information starts to upload to the ACC, and does not appear as a visual clue until after a user has saved their local file and reloaded latest.

Model viewing and navigation via the ACC is still very sluggish, unless you break down larger models into smaller published views. It is still a time-consuming process to create and copy scope boxes to crop multiple views for Publishing from Revit, although there have been recent improvements within the ACC environment to create Views and save them to be used for Model coordination (by floor, by Area, etc.) that I have not yet explored. Recently since the 2025 Autodesk University, a feature has been added to Model Coordination to include saving "Viewpoints" to share with other users for model review, which I have not investigated yet.

Currently reviewing clashes on too large of an area will frequently crash the ACC platform due to display limitations or viewing and navigating via the web. This crashing issue and the view/walk navigation controls are perhaps my biggest complaints about the environment. I really want the Model Coordination module, especially viewing, to be as fluid as Navisworks, but realize the model computing language is really too limiting to unpack and display all of the object relationships and all of their associated parameters in the ACC web viewing environment to be efficient.

Having used Navisworks previously on the Construction side of coordination and gotten used to the ease of interface and navigation, it is the superior choice for everyday Model Coordination. The problem is, many Design Architects and Engineers do not use, or do not have time to dedicate to learn Navisworks.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coordination of Design Models prior to Bidding to eliminate RFI's and Costly Change Orders due to lack of building systems coordination.

  ### 9. Simple. Efficient. Flexible.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vineet G. | Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

One-stop shop for all your project needs. From drawing management (Sheets) to document management (Files), from issue management to RFI management, from email management to variation correspondences, from meeting minutes to transmittals, from project reports to project schedule, from meeting minutes to action assignments. It covers most of the area of project management.

Another aspect I like about Autodesk in comparison to other competitors is its flexibility and user interface. It is not as easy as a social media website. However, it is not as complex as other similar products.

We used Files, Sheets, Issues, RFI, Emails, Variations, Meeting Minutes and Transmittals. We did not use the schedules and forms as much. As we had other systems in place for the project.

I like most is the email address for the project. So I can literally send an email (from outlook or Gmail) to the project email address of Autodesk to upload any files into the records of AutoDesk. This helped the project team to keep al the records in one place, even from the external parties without access to Autodesk.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

It does not have efficient apps for tablets and phone devices.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping all the records at one place even from the subcontractors who do not have access to the system.

  ### 10. Increased field efficiency with ACC Build

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

The Revit cloud model being able to be linked and visually navigated in the field is critical to understanding and visualizing what is to be built. Having a cloud workshared model has greatly reduced save, sync and publish times as well as enabling a larger more spread out team to all work together seamlessly. Finally, the abitity to bridge the models between companies ACC sites has significantly reduced the need to manually push models for coordination.
Within Build itself, having a single source of truth for the current sheets of all disciplines on a job has been invaluable for insuring all parties are workign off the most current drawings available. The ability to update shop drawings in the office, save to the cloud and push directly to iPads in the field has made the transmission of shop drawings faster and more reliable. Additionall, the RFI and Submittal workflows have greatly reduced both the number of overdue items as well as the time it takes for open items to be closed. Both AutoDesk support as well as the value added services from our reseller, Topcon, have been outstanding.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

When there are AWS problems, the cloud storage can be a hinderance because information is not able to be saved or opened.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reducing outstanding RFIs and Submittals to reduce the amount of rework needed due to late information clarifications.
Tracking due dates for internal shop drawings thus working to eliminate late work and stay on budget.

  ### 11. ACC Feedback

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Montserrat M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

It´s an efficient tool to centralized your projects, the most insteresting thing is that all the stakeholders have access and they can watch live information, in this case te recent one.
Something that we love, is that ACC package including Build, Model Coordination and Design Collaboration turns easy to manage when everyone is using the same tools, even if they have a different HUB is easier to share information from ona project to the other.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

The opportunity areas for ACC are mostly in the mobile device app, as an Account Manager is imposible to add memebers and project from the Application, so even if u want to promove the app, we always end up opening Google or Safary for tose aspects of the project.
On site the main problem that we have how the information is never downloaded, in BIM360 app we have access for this information easily, the problem with ACC is that even if u have sincronized the files and plans, we try to open it and we have dowload it again, in site we need access to the information easily.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The sincronization in the mobile app

  ### 12. BIMtastic

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark K. | Technical Lead of Project Visualization, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2018

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

What I like best about BIM 360 is the integration with some many of the Autodesk products, especially InfraWorks. I have been using it most recently for InfraWorks projects which have little coordination capabilities for assets outside our corporate network. BIM360 reads nearly anyhting and allows us to exchange the data between project teams and the client. It even works with many of our visualization assets. Even better, it is a browser based technology and doesn't require an applicaiton install.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

I wish it worked more directly with InfraWorks and 3ds max. We use the Autodesk Desktop connector via BIM360, and while this works, I wish we had more of the intelligence expereinced when working with Revit. Also, it needs better material/texture support as many of the models look too shiny.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BIM360 is browser based and does not require software, which is importatn when coordianting with a team that includes internal and external consultants as well as the clinet and other stakeholders. Just provision an account and you are set.

  ### 13. Great product development, still needs work for field documentation from infield personnel

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** mary k. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Everything in one location. Lessens need to bounce around between multiple programs.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

The relationships between the assets, forms and reports leave alot to be desired.

The assets menu shows only a total number of references in one column without tallying the reference type. This creates massive issues during set up when trying to verify if all checklist have been populated for the field. Another problem is that the search in the assets menu is no longer granular as was in B360F. Because the search is all in one bucket instead of be field, it makes searching nearly pointless.

In forms, the PDF forms absolutely must be made collaborative. This current state creates hours of work due to reassigning over and over. The inability to change the form ID causes problems when sorting the reports. The current crash number id system is so far beyond unhelpful that it cant be expressed strongly enough. The only work around is to alter the title of the checklist to reflect the asset name. This process contains so many extra steps that it increases the time to set up a project to a ridiculous level. In BIM360F, it took approx 10 seconds per checklist to create the 3 checklists that we require for each item. Now, the extra step of having to open a separate window, then change the title, then add the reference adds 7 seconds per form---not asset. This more than triples our setup time over B360F. A study of our average jobs showed an addition of 24 to 40 HOURS per project setup due to extra steps over B360F.

Reporting is another huge problem. The limitations of reporting causes us to have to take additional steps to created work around to be able to submit reports to GCs or Clients.

I have nearly 90 field guys that rely on me for help with this program as well as for their setup and reconciliations. They also reach out to me for their tech support. The problems with the Forms-Assets-Reports has been the absolute bane of the field existence.

I use this platform everyday for the majority of my work. People call me at home and on the weekends for assistance with this.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unfortunately, when compared to B360F, it is causing more problems that it is solving.

  ### 14. Seamless Collaboration, Long-Term Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew W.

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

I appreciate the cost management features of Autodesk Construction Cloud, which stood out to me as significant. The ease of use and seamless collaboration across the entire company are remarkable. The product effectively manages project aspects, filling gaps where other software like CMIC falls short. I also value the smooth collaboration between preconstruction, BDC, and operations, facilitated by Autodesk Docs.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

I find that the desktop connector can be problematic, exhibiting errors that undermine user confidence in the product. This is an area that could use significant improvement to ensure smoother functionality and reliability. Additionally, while implementing Autodesk Construction Cloud across a full-scale company, the process was notably time-consuming, emphasizing the necessity for a robust user adoption plan leveraging subject matter experts.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find the product makes collaboration seamless across preconstruction, BDC, and operations, supports cost management effectively, and compensates for CMIC’s project management limitations, ensuring ease of use across the company.

  ### 15. A good start, but it wastes as much time as it saves

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

I like how connected it is to Revit. Being able to quickly pull information from our stored BIM models and sheets all from the same place I answer RFIs and Submittals is useful. I want this integration expanded.

The ability to turn off and on specific modules for specific team members is very useful.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

The email notifications aren't useful to quickly understand what is needed. Why is the title of every email the same instead of specific to the project? I want the relevant information in a notification email to be in the TITLE, not the BODY after several lines of text. Every notification email I receive from ACC looks exactly the same and I waste so much time digesting the information when it should be quick. Compare a notification email from ACC to one from ProCore and you will immediately understand how much quicker it provides relevant information.

Also, why can't I add a review step to a submittal after it has been returned by the final reviewer? It locks you out and requires you to step back before you can "add another review step". This spams the entire team with irrelevant notification emails as I am forced to "step back", add a step, and then re-respond on behalf of the previous reviewer.

Speaking of submittals, why is it designed with the assumption that the contractor is managing who reviews the submittals? I have to specifically ask the contractor to label ME as the manager and them as the responsible contractor to allow myself to manager the reviewers. We are not using ACC to send it to specific sub contractors and we never will.

Generally, it feels like ACC wastes about 30% more of my time reading irrelevant information and text than I do on ProCore.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BIM Model coordination, submittals, RFIs, and sheet management.

  ### 16. Helpful for Projects but Needs More Features

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yvonne Z.

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

I appreciate the folder structures in Autodesk Construction Cloud, which allow me to directly locate files efficiently. The software has shown significant growth over the past five years by adding more functionalities and tools, which has benefitted my projects greatly. Its ability to extract data like join numbers and titles is a good function for us.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

I find the Autodesk Construction Cloud system somewhat unfamiliar and different from other systems I've used, which makes the transition challenging. Some functions and tools are missing, and it's not symmetrical, leading to difficulties like being unable to sort files through a filter or search files in transmittals and submittals. Additionally, the offline functionality is more robust in other tools like Bluebeam, which makes them more flexible compared to ACC. Also, I feel the setup for project administrators and control levels could be improved for better management of contract vendors, project admins, and owners.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Autodesk Construction Cloud beneficial for its folder structures and enhanced bin management, facilitating file location directly and aiding project administration.

  ### 17. Effective, But Work to be Done

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zachary C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

It is clear that the ACC platform is the future of collaborative design in Architecture and Construction. The ability to link consistently and automatically between trades, share data in several formats, and work in a single space is fantastic. However, there are numerous areas that need to catch up to previous iterations of server-bound collaboration such as stronger (internal) worksharing tools, the adoption and development of model health reviews, family and content management systems and other small quality of life tools.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

As a BIM manager, the obfuscation of model data limits my capability to diagnose tricky issues. A stronger and/or more interactive Audit tool, model health dashboards with increased data points, or even access to slog files would help.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My clients switching to the cloud platform has helped alleviate a great deal of model issues stemming from VPN, Remote Desktops and other access systems post-COVID. This allows my work to more often target workflows and content rather than IT problems.

  ### 18. ACC is awesome!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacqueline P. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

I love the ability to share sheets and models and have the ability to view them from a laptop or mobile phone / tablet. This is a major feature that we use in construction to ensure that our guys in the field are using the most up-to-date data to build the project. RFIs and Submittals are also great!

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Issues are a little to complex for our guys to understand. There are a few too many clicks which stop our guys in the field to use them.
Our biggest battle in construction too, is that a number of clients have their own platform for project management. This means that our construction teams are already uploading files to the client's management system as well as our Sharepoint site. With this said, it is challenging to convince our construction teams in this position to upload files in Autodesk as well.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Autodesk enables our teams to share project documents (models, drawings, RFIs and Submittals) with our guys in the field in a clean way that ensures that they are building the project with the most up-to-date information.

  ### 19. iOS is rubbish

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Connectivity. By my discussions with people here at AU we use it probably more that most. Docs, Reviews, Forms and issues in particular.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

The Mobile app is terrible and requires Parity with the desktop version. Where are we going with DWFx? We found this format ultra portable and useful particularly on large remote projects. We can see metadata on the Desktop version but not on the iOS. Also the view is not vectorised so we don't have full zoomability compared to the old BIM360 platform. Due to the fast paced environment on construction, the publishing of models takes too long and therefore we went "back to the future" and found how amazing .dwfx was. Currently we are running two hubs per project, BIM360 for the site team to view drawings and ACC for forms and all design workflows. We want to be on one platform!! This is not by choice.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Forms are great and we have managed a few integrations to make this a great product for us. Site HATE the Mobile app. Forms drop off and has been an issue.

  ### 20. Great for collaboration, when all the features are actually used by the GC.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

I like how, when everyone is using the same platform, collaboration is pretty seamless.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

The whole ecosystem can be confusing. Better training and resources are required for the whole Model Coordination workflow to update 3D models in Navis, especially if you want to compete with Revizto. And we are often plagued by .SVF errors and GCs not even embracing the Model Coordination tab, they still require NWCs.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Real-time model collaboration, at least we are not working in data silos (when the GCs have set it up correctly).

  ### 21. Freedom and Control of /design

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

I work extensively with Plant 3D, ACC check in and check out a long with the removal of a need for a constant VPN access has made design in office and on the road more secure. With version control I can roll back changes and if the worst happens (crash or connection loss) I no longer have issues with P&ID and data manager corruption.
Lastly model coordination between plant models and Revit structures or civil grading has helped massively in identifying clashes and conflicts before even reaching a submittal phase, let alone construction.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

One busy projects we can sometimes step on each other's toes while actively editing or adding models. Under a tight timeline, while me may identify troublesome spots in coordination, sometimes we are missing model data unless a project refresh is done, or if a member is not diligent in uploading models.
Clash detection has some long loading/business when implementing vendor .stp file conversions.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Class detection updates, civil tools and the undervelopment unifying of models are going to be huge benefits as we work moving forward.

  ### 22. All Documents at Your Fingertips—No More Folder Hunting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

I love that you can find all the information and documents right at your fingertips. You do not have to search in tons of folders to find things.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

The only thing I have found hard to deal with is adding specifications and how it sorts them.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None

  ### 23. Seamless Cloud Access to Revit Models

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Ability to access Revit models seamlessly on the cloud

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Autodesk needs to stop changing platform names. Causes confusion amongst users.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing live models with our design consultants. More efficient ways of working.

  ### 24. Digitalized a lot of processes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Varun G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

One of the best electronic document systems. It has a very convenient to configure folder level permission settings along with a lot of other settings. The files tool links and enables a lot of other tools that help ease the project management tasks. The Autodesk desktop connect seamlessly integrates with local storage drives. The customer support is very quick and helpful. We use the platform daily and now have a lot of dependency on this because of its reliability. The intuitive interface makes it easy to implement for various projects. The data connector, insight builder and ACC APIs support along Autodesk Platform Services help a lot in making automations. The assets feature is very helpful to track documents, equipments, model elements, etc.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Some differences in the data coming from data connector and APIs. Some basic features like stamps in transmittals, viewing transmittals in mobile, etc. are not present and some difficulties in integrating ACC in our way of working. A lot of feature requests pending on the new idea forum.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data collection. Single source of truth. Data analytics. Digitally managing assets, forms, issues, etc. Tracking activities of project members for accountability and tracking.

  ### 25. Autodesk Forma Review

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

It is a platform that allows cross-referencing to other tools within a project.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Many of the cross-references are redundant and seem performative. The schedule tool is very limited.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It integrates two different platforms we were using to capture photos and control field documents, respectively, into one.

  ### 26. A must have for your building projects!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Uchenna O. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

We use it on every project whether it's required or not. I like that we can access our cloud Revit projects from any device and can onboard team members to support us from anywhere in the world. My favorite console within it is the ability to track meeting minutes and action items. It makes it easy to document old business vs new and what issues are still outstanding.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

I would like to see more features in the ACC clash detection. Although I don't see it as ever being a replacement to Navvisworks, it would be great to have some clash filtering and grouping features so its easier to mine through the issues.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Issue management. When we're managing BIM coordination projects, I like being able to tag issues in Navis, assign it to a party, and track accountability. This is a pain point in almost all other platforms.

  ### 27. Best CDE Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mustafa S. | BIM Coordinator, Architecture & Planning, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

The best thing which I like about ACC is its User Interface. There are many other features which I like about ACC which are first it is a unified platform and provides connectivity with other softwares like AutoCad, Revit, BIM 360 etc. Other features are like document management, field collaboration, project management, cost management, design collaboration. Overall, it streamline construction process.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

While ACC platform provides numerous benefits there are still some drawbacks due to which ACC is not preferred by many. One thing which I dont like is its limitation to customization. Sometime we want to customize some features according to our need but we cant do that as we compared to some other CDE platforms.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Autodesk construction cloud is helping me in document mangement. I am personally using it for collaboration part with multiple users.

  ### 28. Making collaboration easier than ever

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas d. | Digital Automation Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Autodesk Construction Cloud provides a unified location for all consultants to store their project information, keeping the AEC industry coordinated and aligned with information management best practice. It's core functionality of transmittals, history and easy viewing of models rivals that of any alternatives. It's generally pretty intuitive to use and easy to find what you're looking for, even if you're not experienced with "BIM".

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

There are many secondary features available that are often not used in favour of other platforms, such as coordination. This is partially industry driven and partially due to the "jack of all trades, master of none" issue of centralising many core functions that a project team may use under one hood. Over time I expect this to only improve, however.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves coordination and federation of information both internally across multi-disciplinary teams, and externally with other consultants. Without a platform like this we would see drastically more coordination issues.

  ### 29. Transform Project lifecycle with ease

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Model Coordination has historically been the most useful for me as an end user. Honorable mention for the issues system and paper trail it provides.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Permissions could be more intuitive. Allowing permissions toto be inherited from levels above while still being able to apply specific permissions on specific folders below is helpful.
Model upgrading needs more options.
Adding users can be tedious, making that more streamlined and automated would save loads of time.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows project managers to look inside of models without opening Revit. Allows reviews to happen within the environment while providing end users access to markups with locations in the model. Collaborating with external trades is probably the biggest advantage for me.

  ### 30. Best in class for Design Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon W. | BIM Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Being able to collaborate, live, across diverse teams and locations is a real game changer as well as having more input from site project managers when it really matters - before construction meaning clashes can be resolved fully in the models before someone ends up spending unnecessary dollars on re-design and construction waste.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Whats not to like? but if there was one thing, I'm not totally sold on bridging. Yes it works well and we have employed it on a couple of projects, the downside is the appeared lack of trust. As a main contractor who hosts projects, this does feel a little bit of a step backwards, especially when we rely somewhat on instant - synchronised - updates, not the published model.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From viewing, coordinating and clashing live design models in a variety of formats through to document transmittal and a project CDE, Autodesk Construction Cloud is providing a whole system of tools that were previously disperse and hard to manage, and we have only just started.

  ### 31. ACC Adovcate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura S. | BIM / Technology Manager, Architecture & Planning, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Having access and viewability of my project data in one location is golden. Having teams be able in interact with files, models, drawings in a collaborative and efficient way. Document control and insights to how the project is tracking makes control and visibility to project metrix

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Administration is heavy, there needs to be dedicated resources to ensure consistency of roll out and project data such as templates, workflows, roles etc. Some of the permissions are tricky to navigate. While the generic training modules are great to get started they show few options and don't really explain the methodology. Desktop connector requiring administrator permissions to update and install is very frustrating given the amount and frequency of updates. Getting tangible ROI is challenging, such as reporting on benefits derived from ACC vs non ACC projects

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data connected in a central location, have everyone connect to to correct document and being able to see the history/compare. Communication between team members has improved when team work in remote or isolation

  ### 32. Single source of truth for design-to-field—governed, measurable, and scalable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shubham G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

I was part of multi-office teams migrating from file servers to BIM 360/ACC, trained external architects as per project needs, standardized project start-up, and co-ran BIM coordination on a $4.3B healthcare program—ACC became our common data environment from design through construction.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

ACC gives us a true CDE with governed folders, permissions, version history, and an audit trail, so field and office work off the same source of truth. Docs + Build + (BIM) Collaborate cover submittals, RFIs, forms, and model coordination without bouncing between point tools. Mobile forms and issues link directly to sheets/model views, speeding decisions on site. Templates, transmittals, and review workflows make handoffs consistent. Revit/AutoCAD/Navisworks integrations are native, and the Data Connector/API let us push metrics into Power BI for ROI reporting. Net result: fewer RFIs, faster close-outs, and measurable hours saved.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ACC replaced our “shared drive + email + spreadsheets” chaos with a governed common data environment. The big wins:

Version confusion → Single source of truth: Docs gives controlled folders, permissions, transmittals, and audit trails, so design, GC, and trades work from the same latest file. Fewer “which set?” mistakes and emergency reprints.

Slow handoffs → Structured workflows: Submittals, RFIs, reviews, and issue tracking live in Build with due dates and ownership. Turnaround is faster, and we can see blockers immediately.

Field/office disconnect → Model-linked, mobile execution: Forms, checklists, and issues tie to sheets/model views; superintendents close items on tablets, not paper. Less double entry, clearer accountability.

Siloed coordination → Integrated model context: With (BIM) Collaborate and Navisworks, we run coordination against the actual deliverables stored in Docs—no more exporting to ten places.

Manual reporting → Data you can trust: Data Connector/API feeds our Power BI dashboards for RFIs, review cycle times, and issue burn-down, so we talk facts, not anecdotes.

Inconsistent startups → Templated projects: ACC templates + our model setup checklist make every new job start the same way (roles, permissions, folders, review steps).

Impact: On a 2.7M SF, $4.3B healthcare program (150+ contributors), ACC became the backbone for design-to-field. We saw fewer RFIs tied to “wrong file” issues, faster submittal/RFI cycles, cleaner closeouts, and real time back to coordination. Internally, moving from Revit servers to BIM Collaborate Pro eliminated sync conflicts across offices and let us train external architects into the same workflow. Net-net: less rework, quicker decisions, and measurable hours saved per package—exactly what we want from a CDE.

  ### 33. Streamlining Civil Infrastructure Design with Autodesk Construction Cloud

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ana P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Autodesk Construction Cloud makes Civil 3D drafting for roads, bridges, and transportation projects far more efficient. It centralizes design files, alignments, and corridor models, allowing seamless collaboration across teams. Real-time access and version control help keep projects on track, while its integration with InfraWorks and other tools supports complex infrastructure workflows. For civil designers, it's a reliable hub that simplifies coordination and boosts productivity.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

While Autodesk Construction Cloud offers strong collaboration tools, it has a few drawbacks—especially for civil infrastructure workflows. The interface across modules can be inconsistent, making navigation and file management frustrating at times. There’s a steep learning curve, and customizing workflows to fit specific project needs often feels limited. Email notifications can become excessive and hard to filter, and performance tends to lag when handling large Civil 3D files or complex transportation models. These issues can slow down productivity and complicate coordination on high-stakes infrastructure projects.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Autodesk Construction Cloud solves key challenges in civil infrastructure design by centralizing project data and streamlining collaboration across teams. For Civil 3D users working on roads, bridges, and transportation projects, it eliminates version control issues, reduces miscommunication, and supports remote access to alignments, corridors, and design files. This improves coordination, speeds up approvals, and helps deliver higher-quality work more efficiently and on schedule.

  ### 34. My View on ACC within my company's workflow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Access to view Issues tracker is great and easy to use and pick up, ability to view current progress within a model that is published. Makes sharing models with other teams

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

I despise the markup tools. Only one person can markup at a time unlike Bluebeam where you can have multiple people at once. I hate trying to resolve clashes and companies trying to use this as a clash detection workflow. As much as I like ACC, it is awful compared to Navisworks. Says this integration is great, but it is anything but

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to use Bluebeam to store project/ drawing files. We found there were issues retrieving certain files. This is where ACC excels. I love the ability for a designer to see a modeler's progress within a published model. Started using it for projects where we need to print projects that have several models. Now I dont have to open each model to print.

  ### 35. Driving Digital Transformation with ACC: Strengths and Challenges from the Field

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sivate H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

  ### 37. Construction Cloud aids/facilitates Project Engineer duties

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** W. Brian K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

The platform allows for one-stop-shop access and file management for project regardless of scale. File and platform integration is nearly seemless but may take some ramp time for new Autodesk users. Capabilities are segmented based on role assignment and can be tailored based on local IAM policies; including vendor or external file access controls which are much more customizable than previous platforms.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Inability to customize the User Interface. Page templates do not (organically) allow for text variations or highlighting (i.e. this ability would be super useful within the "Meetings" module, allowing for something other than basic text types/bold/italic option). User splash page can be configured to meet the needs of each project or user role, but allowing for a means to add color in the form of text or highlight would be next level.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Business partner collaboration. Large scale/multi-phased project with tight deliverable timelines. Platform allows for cross discipline collaboration and trade coordination. File management and revision publication is streamlined in a single source digital platform (with system-based notification capabilities) expedites planning and coordination efforts.

  ### 38. ACC is mostly good, but always room to improve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Project Bridge, Issues, and overall ability to collaborate

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Certain features i wish were in more modules, for example I wish they would bring the running set of issued sheets back into Docs like it used to be in BIM 360. Instead, it is only in Build, unlike Specifications which is in both. Also, it would be nice to allow Docs to have Schedule for Design to use to tie in print dates and other milestones.

The inability to create template reports, template views of tables for others to have. Example in Issues you can create custom fields, but you cannot add them into a project template for sorting of Issues until you have 1 issue created. Also, if I wanted to move that custom field from last to near first, I can do that for myself but not for everyone else by default.

Also, the model coordination needs to nave more of the advanced abilities and workflows Navisworks has that makes it still more effective at clash detection. I will admit model coordination is getting better

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

sharing of files, tracking of issues, overall coordination

  ### 39. Great Platform for Construction

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew V. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

I primarily use ACC for BIM document storage. What's great about ACC is that you can customize who (including external users) has administrative control of specified folders, almost any BIM-related file type can be viewed within ACC (RVT, DWG, NWD, RCP, etc) which is super helpful for users who don't have BIM software, ACC can be implemented into your file explorer via Autodesk Desktop Connector, and it's fairly straightforward to use overall. I don't use any feature outside of the "Documents" tab so I cannot speak on those, but it is everything you need for storing documents.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Desktop Connector can be a bit finnicky sometimes as files don't download properly or take way longer to download than they should (I know that's not necessarily an ACC issue). The primary issue I come across is when I upload a handful of files at a time (particularly DWGs or RVTs), usually a couple of them will have upload errors, and ACC doesn't really state why or what needs to be done to fix them. Another minor and rare issue is that files will seem to randomly lock for no reason, which prevents other users from being able to open them.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I really don't have many problems with ACC, so not applicable.

  ### 40. An excellent hub for collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

We are able to collocate many models on the hub and facilitate easy collaboration between teams. Automated publishing (so files stay up to date), Build embedded (for CA). It's extremely easy to use and works really well for remote working. We are a bicoastal firm with some team members scattered around the world, so we've migrated almost all of our Revit projects to the ACC because it makes it a lot easier for us to work together.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

My only complaint about the ACC is data migration. We will (at some point) need to move our BIM360 projects into the ACC, and at this moment in time there is no way to do that automatically.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to use of the ACC, we were plagued with incredibly slow network connections when trying to access models when working remotely. During the pandemic, we implemented the ACC and discovered that it made our ability to work together *out* of the office far more fluid. We have continued to use it since we've been back in the office, and it has been a great experience, facilitating collaboration between offices, but also with external consultants, contractors, and clients.

  ### 41. ACC Account Login Security

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark T. | QA Hardware/Software Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Ease communications and markup. The communication is essential for construction workflows to trade groups in the field. The ability to communicate with any project team members and track activity/issues through to completion is a significant advantage. The open API access to ACC data for exhaustive report building via Power BI, is a significant and necessary feature for an owner organization that tracks contractor execution and project KPI's.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

ACC login features and workflows are not secure enough and cause a significant roadblock for companies with elevated IP security in the semiconductor industry. The ability for any user to log back into the ACC app without authentication within 15 days, and extend access for 30 days, is a significant violation of IP security workflows. As an owner company managing Highly Confidential projects, app functionality needs to have more security setting options per account /hub. We need authentication to be available at every login, and a daily option. Also, an option to automatically scrub all downloaded ACC project data that was downloaded on the device at logout. We can't rely on contract trades sharing devices to do this manually with any level of consistency.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Electronic model and drawing review for design and construction. Project communication and workflow from Planning through Construction. We possibly plan to utilize ACC for Digital Twin 'lite" workflows with operations, due to its flexibility

  ### 42. Five Years of Progress With Autodesk Construction Cloud

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen B. | Digital Delivery Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

What stands out most is the way Autodesk Construction Cloud has become the backbone of our design-side projects. We rely heavily on Docs, Build, and Model Coordination, which have scaled seamlessly as our team has grown into a globally connected operation with our BMI and UKO teams.

ACC has significantly improved efficiency, particularly with the Bridge tool, which makes it easy to share data quickly with clients and partners. That capability has saved us time and reduced friction across disciplines and organizations. While we primarily use Power BI through the Data Connector instead of the built-in Insights tool, the ability to extract and structure data has been invaluable.

From a usability standpoint, the platform is intuitive — many team members still prefer the Desktop Connector for direct file access, which underscores how accessible it is. Its integration with Revit and Navisworks has been a real highlight. The ability to create and track issues seamlessly across ACC, Revit, and Navisworks ensures the entire team stays aligned.

Finally, clients appreciate the streamlined handover process. Being able to deliver files and models quickly and in an organized manner has left a positive impression and reinforces ACC’s role in driving project success.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Most of the challenges we’ve experienced are less about the tool itself and more about adoption. Many users are still accustomed to a traditional folder-structure mindset and prefer working on server-based systems, so shifting to a web-based interface has required change management. Similarly, our Construction group often leans toward Procore, which has a longer history of maturity in that space.

On the analytics side, while the Data Connector is powerful, the built-in Insights tool falls short for our needs. It lacks the depth, customization, and flexibility that we require, which is why we rely more heavily on Power BI for reporting and dashboarding.

Finally, the cost is a factor. While Autodesk Construction Cloud delivers clear value, the price point does stand out, especially as firms evaluate ROI compared to other platforms in the market.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Autodesk Construction Cloud has solved one of our biggest challenges: connecting global teams and project partners in a consistent, secure, and accessible way. With our BMI and UKO teams working across regions, ACC gives us a single environment to collaborate, coordinate models, and share data without relying on disconnected file servers or outdated transfer methods.

It has also streamlined collaboration with clients and partners. Using the Bridge tool, we can share information quickly and reliably, which has eliminated delays and reduced miscommunication. This has been especially valuable in project handovers, where ACC helps us deliver models and files in a structured, organized way that leaves clients confident and ready to use the data.

Integration with Revit and Navisworks has helped us close the loop between design and coordination. Issues can be raised, tracked, and resolved directly within the tools our teams are already using, which cuts down on rework and ensures problems don’t slip through the cracks.

Finally, while we use Power BI for advanced dashboards, ACC’s Data Connector has been key in unlocking project data and allowing us to build the reporting we need. The result is better visibility, stronger decision-making, and ultimately more efficient project delivery.

  ### 43. ACC

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mathew g. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Autodesk Construction Cloud is a powerful platform that brings all project data into one place, which is its biggest strength. Having schedules, RFIs, sheets, and submittals connected allows my team to make more accurate and informed decisions without chasing down information across multiple systems. This centralized approach has streamlined communication and improved efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

The one drawback for me is the model viewer. Compared to other model viewing software, it feels limited in features and a bit clunky to navigate. If Autodesk invested in enhancing that experience, ACC would feel like a complete package.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Autodesk Construction Cloud is solving the problem of scattered project information. By centralizing schedules, RFIs, sheets, and submittals in one platform, it eliminates the need to track data across multiple tools and reduces the risk of missing critical details. This benefits my team by giving us real-time access to accurate information, allowing us to make faster and more informed decisions, streamline coordination, and ultimately keep projects moving efficiently.

  ### 44. ACC review for infrastructure projects

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

What I like best about Autodesk Construction Cloud is how it brings together design, construction, and operations teams into a single connected environment. The ability to collaborate in real-time across disciplines, manage models and data centrally, and maintain a clear audit trail significantly improves project efficiency and reduces risk.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

While Autodesk Construction Cloud offers powerful collaboration and data management tools, one area I find challenging is the user experience across its ecosystem. The interface can feel fragmented at times, especially when switching between modules like BIM Collaborate, Build, and Docs.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By centralizing data and enabling real-time collaboration, it eliminates silos between disciplines and teams. For me, this means fewer coordination errors, faster decision-making, and better visibility into project progress.

  ### 45. AU 2025

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

The platform’s focus on BIM workflows, including 3D model coordination and automated clash detection, is really helpful. Its centralized file-sharing capabilities, along with the ability to link issues directly to plans or photos, improve coordination and communication across teams.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Customization is somewhat limited, and the licensing cost is high. Some new users may also need extra time to learn the system and get comfortable using it.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps streamline collaboration between members of the same team, as well as across different teams working in specialized fields. It also speeds up reporting and makes it easier to address and fix problems quickly.

  ### 46. ACC allows to connect a variety of different documentation in an accessible way.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Makana O. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

I would say the most helpful feature of ACC is the ability to reference multiple different documents to a specific item and/or system. This feature allows project members to easily access necessary information to create shop drawings, order products, and install materials in the correct location.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

I would say the downside of ACC is that a handful of modules such as Specifications and Forms are still in development. Although I am glad that these modules and features are being updated on a regular basis, there are other programs that provide what my team needs. Despite this, I am confident that ACC will roll out helpful features that will not only make it equal to its competitors but also excel.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One problem that I believe ACC solves is the accessibility to current data for the project team and all subcontractors and vendors.

  ### 47. Single Source of Truth if used properly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt T. | BIM Technologist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

I like that we can Publish and Compare Models, PDFs, Navis and more file types. If you use the Model Coordination and Design Coordination Tabs you can control when and what is Clashed and avialable to others for Review use. Transmittals and Packages work great for ensure if you are reviewing something it is the correct version and maybe not something too old or too new.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

Extraction of PDFs into a Individual review set is lengthy in completion although it is extremly useful I wish we could Automate this feature.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For many years we have had PMs that squirrel away PDFs that others do not see they manage markups and Design Issues there and no one can find it. At ACC we have the ability to just keep documents in one location and they will version them so we can understand when this was updated last.

  ### 48. I was the POC who brought ACC to Tesla

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chiaowei Y. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

I like how it integrates design team with construction team - the all in one platform makes things a lot more simpler, how, as an owner, you can see the progress from design to procurement to construction, and at the end, this is the source of truth. It also create more dependency for users to get deeper to Autodesk product such as Revit.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?**

1. Lost functions of per project base, which makes project base documentation extremely difficult and hard to manage the projects. This function used to exist in Plangrid, and that's the biggest benefit of plangrid.
2. Cost - with increased cost, but the functionality is not keeping up with the cost. It was fine for Tesla to pay for it, but I don't see it getting widely used by others.
3. User interface is not intuitive.

**What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solve the problems of going to different platforms for information.

  ### 49. Intuitive UI, Needs Better Coordination Features
