I really like that it centralizes all our assets in one place and is incredibly easy for staff to use. It was simple to ramp up, and the image tagging feature makes searching much easier. I also appreciate that it connects seamlessly with other software, making integration easy across our workflows. There’s a good level of customization that allows us to optimize the system to its full potential, and the AI search function is a great bonus. OpenAsset has a lot of potential, but there are some challenges. The cost of customizing InDesign templates can be high, and the employee resume generation tool hasn’t quite met our needs. OpenAsset is extremely easy to set up, easy to learn, and has superb functionality. Their customer service responds immediately and typically resolves any questions or issues within a 24-hour period. The only issue our company has encountered was the initial setup by OpenAsset of our material, which resulted in a lot of files being misplaced under different projects. We have had to manually move the files as we find them, resulting in files we believe are missing, but are just misplaced.

Our team love having all of our assets in one location. Images, project information, and videos are located quickly and efficiently. The Vantagepoint connection makes sure that the data is accurate and being pulled from the right place. Many users find Vantagepoint to be confusing but appreaciate that they can access the same data in OpenAsset in a more user-friendly way. You no longer need to search through data sheets or proposals to find the information you seek. Everyone loves the AI search feature--you can find similar photos or project features quickly, even if the projects are in different market sectors. The best thing about OpenAsset, in my opinion, is how easily it links our project data and visual assets. Having a centralised platform where we can easily locate excellent photos, drawings, and marketing materials is crucial because we operate across disciplines and geographical locations at BDP. Although OpenAsset is really helpful, I feel that the search feature may occasionally be a little stiff; if you're not using the precise proper keywords or tags, it's easy to miss essential papers or images. Additionally, because BDP has such a large portfolio, it might be difficult to keep everything consistently categorised and current, which occasionally makes it harder to discover what you're searching for. The ease of use, features it has for our team, and user experience is top of the line for AEC softwares. The AI search function is a god-send. The bulk uploading process was seamless through their team who made it easy. The templates are very easily usable and streamlines a lot of our workflows. The most helpful aspect of Open Asset is its ability to centralize and organize our marketing materials. My experience with Open Asset has been transformative, streamlining my workflow significantly with its seamless organization and an intuitive interface that makes managing assets effortless. I appreciate the ease of adding/uploading assets and I find the user-friendly interface makes it easy to quickly locate what I'm looking for. I work for a large company with marketing departments all over the globe that need to share high quality digital assets/accurate information in a quick, efficient manner and OpenAsset makes that possible. Searching can be time-consuming. Although the search function is useful, sometimes accessing specific assets requires precise tagging; and, if the tagging/ categorizing wasn't completed correctly or at all by the uploader, it quickly becomes much less helpful.
