Manager BIM, Projektant Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) 4/8/2026 "ACC allows to manage the chaos on the construction site, although there is still much to improve." 1.5/5 What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)? easy access to documentation and its security, convenience of comparing drawing versions, ease of document versioning (version history) integration of ACC with other software is troublesome - I never know if the documents available through Autodesk Desktop Connector are up-to-date ACC works very smoothly, the smoothness of browsing PDFs is impressive, but the problem is the "zoom limit" on large drawings, sometimes it's impossible to examine the details of the drawings I feel that ACC licenses are quite expensive for the AEC industry conditions in Poland Support, instructional videos, and Autodesk University are very helpful in accessing knowledge about ACC, but sometimes I miss explanations of individual options within the platform itself I haven't used AI within ACC yet, I'm starting to feel a bit overwhelmed by the number of possibilities the platform offers. I don't know what AI is supposed to be used for on ACC. I miss emails that would remind me of overdue issues. I am bothered by the constant switching of platforms from BIM360 to ACC to form - this causes a lot of confusion and often AEC employees are not fond of technology. I had wanted to make use of the cloud based workflow it initially offered but issues with signing in and logging into my account on tablets especially made it to cumbersome and too much of a hassle. I dislike how unintuitive it is to see what files are checked in or out, by whoom, and what was the most recent date of edit of the file by me and by all users, which are all features that Projectwise does well. Performance issues includes a lot of bugs in the software, syncing problems, slow/lagging -Terrible filtering function for admin members page, difficult to find members without having to scroll through over 300+ users -Limited access abilities for members vs. Project Admins -Project admins are admins for ALL modules, but it should be specific to each module. This causes a lot of controlling and monitoring admins to other modules -Setting up a project requires adding each individual one by one every single time and assigning roles/company one by one -Reporting is terrible, no charts/graphs flexibility for filtering on specific types of issues. Nothing specific to commissioning -No logic/no workflow/no "smart" capabilities -the other BIM360 modules don't seem to fluidly be integrated i.e Asset vs. Field, vs, Doc, vs. PMT -Export function for checklists is awful, why does it have to be emailed as a PDF instead of directly downloaded into device? Why is that only Project Admins can download reports? Members/users need to ALL have permission to export information. I feel that the tool is not built to scale for large projects. I am one owner speaking on behalf several huge construction companies. Each of our projects at a min for Field Management alone is ~400+ users, with 15k+ checklists, 1000+ issues. It is much more pleasant to work in a Revit file that is on our local server instead of in BIM 360. The architect also tends to not notify us when making changes because they think we will notice those changes. It also makes them less likely to wrap up their changes like they would before sending us an actual model when we aren't using BIM 360. I like that I can create multiple folders, create custom forms, use my own forms, and rename on the spot. The software is easy to use which is a plus for the field. What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)? That my admin account must be different, dislike that there is not one place where I can see all jobs and all users assigned to each job. Being the system admin and an account user for all projects, I would prefer one account that could handle all. This is the only software that I have worked with where I need a separate login to do anything aside from be a user. The second issue I have is the cost, I find the yearly cost too high, the Nailgun account is almost useless, unless the job is small. The third issue that I have is that when reviewing field reports, the system does not mark or identify in any way if the report has been reviewed. This leaves my only option as having users email them to me upon submission and then I have to go in and archive them to know what has been done. I like that I can upload multiple file types to plangrid, this has allowed out company to only need one software in the field since it allows may file types and any form that we can come up with.
