What do you like best?

I schedule high school music lessons where students can sign up on a weekly basis for what works in their schedule. This system allows students to choose from the availability I have set and work within their own hectic schedules for a time that is best for them. My attendance rate has sky-rocketed for lessons since switching to this system this year. I am paying for the advanced settings and plan to continue for the foreseeable future. What do you dislike?

My student attendance rate for lessons is currently at approximately 95% for this school year. This system is allowing families the flexibility to accommodate their schedules. “Quick and easy way to coordinate schedules”
What do you like best?

We use Doodle to gauge peoples' availability on different days and times when trying to schedule a call, meeting, or videoconference for a group of people. It's effective at this task, much moreso than just asking everyone what times they can do. It's also free at the lowest level, which has proven sufficient for most of my needs. This is a simply amazing plugin for memberships. I loved it from the very first minute for its easiness and the fantastic support. After the course add-on was released, I moved all my courses out from LearnDash into Memberpress! And won't be using Lerandash anymore, thanks for this as I was struggling at each and every WP update.

What do you like best?

I like that we can have multiple people's calendars on our home screens. I work in a small mental health practice and we're often scheduling for one another so it's imperative that we be able to see each other's calendars. Before COVID, we were also allowing clients to schedule themselves through our website which was great. I also enjoy the business integrations. We've been able to integrate our scheduling with Zoom, GoToMeeting, Active Campaign and QuickBooks--which has allowed us to streamline our business and client processes. What do you dislike?

I don't like that when you block off time in Acuity, it doesn't show up on your linked Google calendar as blocked off time. The acuity app is constantly having problems, so it's difficult to use my phone for scheduling. They allow for different colors for different appointment types, but they don't allow you use different colors for different practitioners' appointments. When you're looking at everyone's calendar on one page (especially in week view) it's really confusing and you can't easily distinguish whose appointment is whose. We can integrate it with other apps which means when clients get scheduled for certain appointment types, they now automatically receive certain emails, zoom links when appropriate, and their payment can go through quickbooks. I am a very small business, it is just me. 10 to 8 made it so I could still have a booking site that is compatible with my website for a price I could actually afford where I feel that most booking platforms are not priced for real small businesses. ClubExpress has the best support I have ever experienced. Their support engineers are pleasant and understand the ClubExpress system. There is seldom a long telephone hold. This may be because of their 990 page very complete and searchable User/Admin Manual, which is frequently updated.

The sales team understands our needs and recommends solutions based on how others use their system. The development team helped us create an attractive user-friendly website.

They are the only Association Management system that I know of that interfaces with both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online

We are a 20-year-old trade association with 1,500 members, that is recently being managed by unpaid volunteers. For the majority of our 20 years we were managed by a professional management company using a Microsoft Access database. Our data was moved to a propriety database, of which our association was the only user and one developer causing our management company to resign. Our Board recognized that this was a high-risk situation and researched the market for a year looking for a new association management system (ASM). We converted to ClubExpress in late 2018.

We now have much improved communication with our members and can both advocate and educate members better than ever.

What do you like best?

When I started using MemberLeap, I had never used software to create web content before. I was surprised at how easy it was to create and update web content. The interface is extremely intuitive and it is easy to learn the multiple functionalities of the software.

MemberLeap is also extremely responsive to help troubleshoot issues. Recently, I had to reach out to them to get a quote on how much it would cost to make a couple of edits to our web layout. They responded within a couple of days and were very clear on price.

What do you dislike?

The content editor can have glitches at times. I've noticed that it can add extra characters after publication and can be finicky with special characters. Additionally, it is very important to save work if you are working on the same content for a long time - I've experienced (the hard way) that you could be logged out of your account and lose all your work. “Lots of good reasons to select Nimble AMS”
What do you like best?

Support staff is a big plus on a day to day basis. Support is a big issue especially when you are learning a new system. The Nimble 'app' built on Salesforce works great. Occassionally we come across a bug but Nimble is always right on top of it to get the fix out. Another PLUS.

Updates come 3 times a year right after Salesforce's. Nimble makes the updates easy, easier than any other system I've worked with. (But you are alway still beholding to Salesforce.)

I have worked with other AMSs before, the one feature I love is the Express Pay URL. What's so special? When your membership belongs to a company and employees are members by default, your main contact may be the company owner. If you send an electronic renewal invoice the owner, he/she will most likely pass that along to the A/P department - who is NOT going to create an account and log in and may not even be able to see the invoice directed at the owner. With Express Pay URL - you send the link to the owner, he/she forwards the email and ANYONE can pay the invoice online w/out logging in. All they need is an active credit card.

Nimble is always ready to hear how they can improve their product and with each release there is something that either works better or is new. They do not let their product get stale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The person - account setting is fine, works great. But it does present challenges when you try to work with 3rd parties who 'integrate' with Salesforce. The person-account is something they need to understand and handle, which evidently is not common. You cannot 'create contacts' directly from an API, you have to let Salesforce create the person-account, which will automatically create the connected 'contact' object and be properly linked. This is Nimble's problem only because Nimble uses the person-accounts setting of Salesforce.

The basic Nimble license (based on a Salesforce PLATFORM license) does not include several objects that Salesforce itself might include if it were a regular Salesforce license. (Campaigns is one example). You may need to make sure you have the correct licenses for objects you will need.

When we first went live in 2017, Nimble didn't have a lot of hands on training for those who would be administering Nimble and Salesforce. I believe this may have improved since then. I wish they had short 'how-to' videos for super-users/admins. They have great documentation, but I am the "show-me" kind of learner.

Understanding that they are not the Salesforce guru for you & their best expertise is their own product - at the beginning, not being already a Salesforce guru myself, it was painful figuring out what was Salesforce and what was Nimble. Our complex online join needed us to tweak the Community Hub, but is working great. We reduced all physical paper needed to be submitted in order to be considered as a member. We do not let anyone join automatically w/out a human review, but the process is so much better now.

The member web interface is almost out-of the box. It is easy now for our members to buy products, register for events, and edit their own data online.

The annual renewal is done with payments online using the Express URL featurer after the bulk renewals are run - No more mailing of renewal notices and hardly any checks have to be processed.

What do you like best?

We have been transitioning everyday functions from iMIS desktop to iMIS cloud and I really enjoy the customization of iMIS cloud features. We can create reports easy, set up staff friendly dashboards to keep applications organized and the candidate facing applications pages are easily accessible and editable through the cloud. I also think the IQA's are easy to use and build and the Process Automation feature is a great one to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There are far more clicks to get to certain areas of the account information in comparison to iMIS desktop. I wish there was a more streamlined approach to a members information. We also needed to create a lot of custom pieces with a 3rd party to meet our needs as an organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Make sure that your website is compatible with iMIS if you choose to integrate the two. We had some hiccups with making a universal sign-on page with Kentico and iMIS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Getting the data from our database organized easily and be able to report it in an organized manner. Using the dashboards and setting up IQA's has made monthly reporting much easier.
