What do you like best about PandaDoc?

What I like most about PandaDoc is how it streamlines and automates our entire partner onboarding process while still keeping confidential information secure. As a Partner Onboarding Specialist in an OEM organization focused on identity management, access control, and physical security, I work with distributors, system integrators, vendors, and technology partners across Europe, North America, the Middle East, India, and Asia.

Our workflow typically begins with an NDA, then moves to a Partner Information Form, and ends with a Partner Agreement. PandaDoc’s reusable templates, automated reminders, and document tracking have greatly reduced manual follow-ups and improved completion rates. I also really appreciate the dashboard, which makes it easy to see who has viewed a document, how much time they spent on each page, and what still needs action. It’s also simple to replace a signer, search documents by company or email, and organize files by region. Because we often share confidential APIs, SDKs, and integration documentation with OEM partners, PandaDoc delivers a secure, reliable, and highly efficient document management experience that I depend on every day. What do you dislike about PandaDoc?

My experience with PandaDoc has been very positive overall, and any dislikes I have are really just minor areas for improvement rather than true issues.

When I’m managing a high volume of partner documents across multiple regions (Europe, North America, the Middle East, India, and Asia), the search and filtering could be a bit more refined. It works well as-is, but faster advanced filters—or smarter suggestions when partner or company names are similar—would make it even more efficient.

I also think the reporting and analytics could be more customizable. The current dashboard already provides strong visibility into document views, time spent, and page engagement, but having additional exportable insights or more trend-based reporting would be especially helpful for larger onboarding programs.

Lastly, while signer replacement works smoothly, it would be great to have more automation or intelligent recommendations when roles change within partner organizations, so workflows stay streamlined with less manual effort.

Overall, these are small enhancements. PandaDoc still supports our NDA, Partner Information Form, and Partner Agreement processes effectively, particularly when we need to maintain confidentiality for OEM integrations involving APIs, SDKs, and technical documentation. I love how BILL AP/AR enables me to easily process and receive electronic payments. It saves a lot of time since I don't have to print and mail checks or go to the bank to deposit checks. I also find that it speeds up our Accounts Receivable process significantly when clients pay electronically, which helps with cash flow. The interface continues to be a huge challenge for me. I have it synced with QuickBooks Online but overall do not find the user experience easy or enjoyable. I think because of this I have not dug deeper into the features or how else I could be using it. I do not feel that it's really clear what it's doing or how it's set up. I would want a simpler interface, better instructions and guidance as I use it. The initial setup was not very easy, it took me a while to figure out. I just started a business and was spinning in circles setting up a process to write customer agreements and collect payments. Anchor has both electronic agreements and payment processing integrated so I could put the services right in the proposal, and set how they should be billed. We have never had a "Pay Now" button for our customers and it has ALWAYS been asked for. It is great to have that readily available. This helps with the one time customers that are typically harder to track down for payment. When the invoice is sent from Bill360 it shows when the customer opened the email so there is never a "I didnt receive the invoice" excuse. The thing that’s stood out the most for us is how much of our quote-to-cash process is now in one place. Our pricing is usage-based and fairly involved, but Sequence handles it without us having to develop a bunch of workarounds. Building quotes using the CPQ module is intuitive, e-signature is built-in, and once a deal gets signed the billing schedules and invoices follow on naturally. I love how easy Iris makes the process by allowing us to do everything in one location rather than using a bespoke tracker or messaging coworkers for assistance. It provides a single source of truth for our RFPs, with centralized approved answers we can easily update. I appreciate its ability to learn with each RFP completion. Instead of rewriting the same answers, once the project is uploaded, Iris already suggests answers, which we can easily modify. It's so helpful to start with a structured answer rather than a blank slate. I also like being able to assign questions to individuals within our organization. The initial setup was super easy, and we were able to backload some completed RFPs to build our knowledge hub. Additionally, I value the Iris web extension for its functionality when RFPs are posted in a portal. The calendar is buggy and it doesn't offer me the option of seeing all the calendars of the whole office at the same time. I coordinate the schedule and I need to see everyone's availability. They were fine for a number of years but things dramatically changed this year. With one day notice they changed their processing timelines from 1 day to 3 days. They then had a series of errors that extended the 3 day fund hold to 6 days. They have done a terrible job of communicating, have been combative, and have turned into an awful partner. What do you dislike about Mercury?

Mercury may not be a good fit for founders who do any meaningful work internationally. My account was closed despite the company being a legitimate U.S. LLC with an EIN and a U.S. mailing address. The only unusual factor appeared to be that part of my work involves one international business address.

The closure happened quickly and without any opportunity to resolve the issue. For founders building global companies, that kind of uncertainty without opportunity for manual review makes financial planning extremely difficult.

I love the fact that is constantly being updated with a strong focus on AI tools and new improved features such as file import compatibility. I also love the fact that Responsive offers a learning section that is very good in terms on content. Also I have taken advantage of the June free certification. What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

The difficulty of importing excel spreadsheets when they are very complex as it is difficult to set up the fields and it is done with some order. That order is not very easy to understand so some guidance and more step by step would be a great help
