It really helps me when I am trying to schedule things outside of work like appointments for myself or my kids, or to work out childcare arrangements with my husband. It's so convenient. I can also use it to communicate with my supervisor. **What do you dislike about ShiftHound?** The notifications can be a little bit overwhelming on my days off, when I am trying to focus on home and not work. **Recommendations to others considering ShiftHound:** Do it! It's a great program and helps employees feel a measure of control over their schedule while eliminating the need for a staffing coordinator position. It also allows for smarter staffing of units, which is a plus especially in behavioral health. **What problems is ShiftHound solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have realized the benefit of not having to hire a full-time scheduler, which saves the hospital money. It is also much easier to do self-service through the website or the app than it is to try to reach a person. ### 5. I also feel like I have more control over my schedule with ShiftHound. It's easy to communicate with my managers using the app. **What do you dislike about ShiftHound?** I don't like receiving so many notifications from the app, especially on my days off. It can sometimes feel a little bit overwhelming. A daily digest would be more helpful. **Recommendations to others considering ShiftHound:** This product eliminates the need of a scheduling coordinator and frees up management to do other tasks beside staffing. **What problems is ShiftHound solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving the problem of short-staffing. It is easier to do smart staffing with ShiftHound, and we are able to get additional staff on very little notice by sending out a notification. ### 6. The system used to request time off and offer shifts/trade shifts is very efficient. **What do you dislike about ShiftHound?** It's difficult to set up push-notifications.
