**What do you like best about OrgChart?**

OrgChart is very user-friendly, and setup is very intuitive with helpful teams to guide you along the way. They are technical and able to convey in laymans terms.

**What do you dislike about OrgChart?**

I have not had much use yet and therefore don't have much to dislike.

**What problems is OrgChart solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OrgChart helps us from having to develop a new org chart with each iteration in our corporation as we are very dynamic

**What do you like best about OrgChart?**

OrgChart was easy to implement and integrate and works better than the generic Org Chart that is within UKG. Francois Smit was our implementation specialist,  He was great, always available and answered any questions promptly.

**What do you dislike about OrgChart?**

OrgChart was in the process of changing things over to a newer version so there were some tickets that needed to be open with support for us to get them working.

**What problems is OrgChart solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Org Chart is helping our company view departments at a high level when needed. It helps with planning, determining roles within the organization and where there is gaps and overlaps.

**What do you like best about OrgChart?**

I like how hands-on the representatives were. John Arana helped us through every step of the process. The weekly meetings for implementation and for training were extremely helpful and it was so much easier knowing that we had a person to go to for help who would answer and take the time to really help us according to our specific needs.

**What do you dislike about OrgChart?**

Some of the language used to describe things are a little difficult to grasp. The software very computer coding oriented, which helps provide the versatility aspect of the charts, but can definitely be confusing for people who have little to no background in coding. Thankfully, John was very helpful when describing these things.

**What problems is OrgChart solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the past, we used to manually do our org charts on Excel. This was very difficult and time consuming, given that there is a lot of movement in our field. OrgChart is saving us a lot of time and difficulty in manually updating these changes. Since it is automatically synced with our payroll software, we only have to update it in one place, and everything else happens automatically. Because we can customize the information that is displayed, it will also double as a phone directory for our employees.

**What do you like best about OrgChart?**

I like that we can create a feed directly from our HRIS system to OrgChart so the chart is updated daily with live information from our system—no more manual org chart updates. Implementation was relatively simple, and the couple times we needed support, they were quick to respond and quick to help us resolve the issue.

**What do you dislike about OrgChart?**

Though implementation was relatively simple, we had a newer implementation specialist. As a result, he was not as knowledgeable as someone who has been around longer, so a few implementation aspects didn't run as smoothly as they probably could have. This isn't the fault of the implementation specialist, though. It's just an observation of my own experience. When he needed assistance during the implementation process, he got the support he needed, but it did extend the implementation process a little.

**What problems is OrgChart solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, our org chart software had to be updated manually. As a result, it was only done a few times a year, because it was a time consuming process. With OrgChart, we can create a feed directly from our HRIS system allowing us to update the org chart daily and saving lots of valuable time.

OrgChart now was a wonderful program for what our organization needed. It syncs with ADP, making updates seamless. 

**What do you dislike about OrgChart?**

I still think the platform could be updated to be more modern and user friendly. It can be clunky at times. 

**What problems is OrgChart solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to find a platform that connected with ADP so that our org chart was constantly updated. Too much time was spent updating our org chart, and often the org chart would become outdated in a matter of days.

**What do you like best about OrgChart?**

OrgChart clearly shows who reports to whom, which is essential for understanding a company's structure. It also makes it easy to identify team members within each department. It is an excellent tool for onboarding new employees and understanding workflows.

**What do you dislike about OrgChart?**

Its a simple tool for visual hierarchy, so nothing to dislike about. It works best for what it is made for.

Orgchart solved the problem of unclear reporting structures and team organization for me. It helped me get more clarity on whom to contact for different issues, and helped me understand team responsibilities by providing a quick overview of the company's structure.

I love that they provide guides and instructions to use the portal. OrgaChart saved us from using a very outdated organizational chart.

**What do you dislike about OrgChart?**

That they don't provide a customer service phone number in case you need help.

We used to have our 365 employees' organizational chart through PowerPoint, a very unprofessional way. Now, it looks organize and professional.

  ### 11. Still Not Sure If I Like It

**What do you like best about OrgChart?**

I like that OrgChart will graft out your employee trees and has a nice presentation for the information. I also like that you can highlight areas that you want to stand out in the chart.

**What do you dislike about OrgChart?**

The system is very confusing to navigate.  I would not say that it is user friendly.  For instance, why is an administrator not able to reset a users password without impersonating them?  It would make more sense to be able to reset it from the "Manage Users" page without having to then impersonate them. 
I found the onboarding and training to be very difficult to follow.  We had Jonathan Arana as our implementation specialist.  I found Jonathan very knowledgeable and helpful, but his teaching style was very difficult to follow and was not for me.  He went very fast clicking around the system to show us how to do things so it was very hard to absorb what he was showing us.  He did answer questions posed to him well, I just wish the training was presented in a way where we were able to absorb more.  We will be relying heavily on the written manuals and instructions as the live training was hard to retain.

**What problems is OrgChart solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Orgchart is replacing the way we currently show our employee trees.  It is benefiting us in that is draws from one central "source of truth" and we are able to add more labels to what we want shown such as employee number and org number along with their name, which is something we weren't able to do very easily in the past.

**What do you like best about OrgChart?**

Having the system integrated with our payroll system is a huge help.  The platform is user friendly.
Our implementation specialist Mackenzie Braden was very helpful.  Answered all of my questions and frequently emailed me right back if I reached out to him.  He was very thorough in the org chart training and supplying me with links on how to obtain support.  The additional features offered, we will eventually use.

**What do you dislike about OrgChart?**

At this time, I do not see anything I dislike about it.

Being able to access & provide the management team organizational charts with various fields, will cut down on manual reports.

OrgChart is a robust platform that not only presents the data in a user-friendly way but also allows for analytics to be performs based on the data. **What do you like best about OrgChart?**

The biggest highlight so far is Jonathan Arana. I worked with Jonathan throughout the implementation and he was always able to answer my questions and explain why a function works they way it does. In addition, Jonathan was always available for questions via email and was always willing to jump on a call when needed. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Jonathan and I most appreciate his willingness to answer questions, his accessibility, and his pure enthusiasm about the product and coaching others through it. Jonathan was everything you could ask for. In terms of Org Chart itself, it's very easy to integrate your information over from just about any data source you'd like. The ability to use filters, highlights, views, and box rules really makes it possible for admins to take control of their chart to achieve the information and view they'd like. This makes it easy to satisfy requests of all kinds to provide an accurate view of your workforce.

**What do you dislike about OrgChart?**

No downsides, but one thing to note. It took some extra time to understand the security details and how they work within the platform, however, I do not have security experience so I was learning these things for the first time.

**What problems is OrgChart solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Org Chart provides the opportunity to view a whole department in a easy to read format, in addition to further capabilities like dotted line reporting, including open roles or vacancies, and much more.

The fact that it can updated instantly by being connected to iSolved. If an employee leaves they come off and when an employee is added they are automatically added.

There is nothing that i dislike about OrgChart.

It keeps the chart always up to date with current employee info and i don't have to go in and make sure it gets changed with every hire and termination.

OrgChart is an easy to use automated software. It was a smoothless integration. And the customer service is always helpful and responsive. Charts look professional and easy to export in a number of formats.

**What do you dislike about OrgChart?**

Manual process to add pictures on the profiles.

**What problems is OrgChart solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Generating company branded charts automatically. OrgChart saves time by quickly exporting charts from the data in our HRIS system.

**What do you like best about OrgChart?**

I've been using OrgChart for years and love how seamlessly the system works. It has all the functionality we need, and their customer service is excellent—quick, responsive, and very helpful. Jonathan Arana was incredibly helpful during implementation, ensuring a smooth setup. Matt Dalili has assisted me with numerous service requests; he’s knowledgeable, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. The system easily integrates with our Payroll system and that's a must have for a growing organization. I highly recommend this system!

Lots of clicks to set up the org chart, but once it's set up it's just an easy refresh.

The integration capability with Dayforce. It eliminates days of manual manipulation I would spend building manual org charts.

I wish the help materials were up to date.  It's been a little while since my training and I would like to be able to reference some current instructions when creating/editing org charts.

This saves me a tremendous amount of time in creating org charts on a quarterly basis.  I just have to make adjustments/updates to open positions and vacancies, but the rest is automatically updated.

I think having tailored live web links would be great. Example: a live web link for each department, that only reflects their department data.

This is very similar to the Org application we were using prior so it's been a very smooth transition.  The implementation process has gone very well and Francios is extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

So far it seems to do what we need.  There are a few small things that I believe are being worked on like centering the charts vertically.

generally a good tool to map out org structure designs. you can roll-up metrics to get a topline view, as well as create custom formulas. very responsive customer support. a rep will reach out to me to talk through my issues and the options that will meet my needs. our rep also proactively reaches out just to check in every once in a while.

**What do you dislike about OrgChart?**

set up can be a little cumbersome with setting the formulas. the interface is not always very intuitive and looks a little outdated. currently have to manually input each change so there is opportunity to enhance user experience further with simplification upgrades like batch changes.

Update an org structure for workforce planning purposes and roll-up topline metrics to compare plan to actual. Being able to shift people around during an org design process.

The best part about the tool is that it is effectively ready to go for any org at all times. Unless there's a special request for planning, aggregating data, or adjusting formats, org chart requests will take seconds.

The most difficult part of the tool is that there are so many options that it may take a little bit of a learning curve to get fully comfortable. With that being said, the ease of a standard org chart being available at all times far outweighs this.

Org chart requests for high level leaders with significant organizations would take days to complete. I believe we received one and it took one member an hour to get the formatting right. It's highly effective.

The integration capability with Workday is extremely helpful so that we're not spending a bunch of time building the dataset to load into an org chart tool before even creating the chart itself.

**What do you dislike about OrgChart?**

While the formatting seems simple, I find it confusing to determine where certain formatting features take precedence. It seems like one formatting change overwrites another depending on where it's saved. Might just take some adjustment time as we're still very new to utilizing the tool on the job. Also, in the Planning tool, it would be helpful if there was a was to mass cancel items that have been planned/updated.

We used to use other org chart software where we'd have to create the dataset, load it to the tool, build the charts, etc. Now, the dataset creation is eliminated due to the integration with Workday. In addition, we are working towards giving our HR department access to the tool directly so that they can self-service their charts and we aren't burdened with creating for everyone.

Prior to OrgChart, creating/maintaining our org structure was teadious, manual, inefficient and time consuming.  OrgChart has changed all of that.  Our charts update automatically from our HRIS system feed, I can make a change and push a new file to see it immediately or wait for the scheduled feed.  Easy-peesy.

Implementation was quick and our implementor Francois Smit was easy to work with.

It almost reads my mind which is scarry!

OrgChart contains a number of features that our previous organizational chart tool lacked. We would often get large org chart requests that could take hours and hours in a convoluted process to fulfill. OrgChart will save us a lot of time for these kinds of requests.

Implementaion Specialist Francois was great as well.

**What do you dislike about OrgChart?**

The main downside to OrgChart is just that it will take time to learn and no one on our team is currently an expert. From the demos and tinkering around, however, the basic functions that I'll be most often using it for seem straightforward.

PROBLEM: Org Charts were taking too much time to make and the process was convoluted.
SOLUTION: OrgChart is much more straightforward and simpler to use than our previous tool.

The platform is intuitive, visually clean, and supports drag-and-drop editing, easy exports, and role-based access controls. The future-state planning features are promising, but could be more robust—for example, having side-by-side comparisons to visually see / call out differences.

I like the simplicity of the UI. It is very intuitive for end users to find what they are needing and navigate within the tool.

The tool is a bit complex when it comes to creating vs. and assigning the logic. The implementation was easy, but if we ever neeed to make changes, it will be challenging.

ADP org chart functionality is very difficult to use, has limited features including export options, and employees are limited in being able to see up and down the chain. Org chart solves for those main issues!

We like that it connects to our HRIS for syncing data. We also like being able to secure the data by role to ensure no sensitive information is seen by the wrong people.  We also like that you can export to editable powerpoints.

**What do you dislike about OrgChart?**

The implemenation process was very disorganized and the person helping us seemed to be inconvienenced by our requests.  He provided no agenda of things we should be ready to discuss on the call, didn't seem to remember requirements we brought to his attention, and seemed unwilling to set things up outside our meeting times resulting in us wasting time watching him trying to figure out things during the call. The training on how the software works didn't happen until the very end of the implementation. This would have been 100% more useful during the very first meeting so we could understand how the system worked and what things we should be thinking about to configure.  I would say lots of stuff was only mentioned at the end in training and we were not even given the option to configure it during the implementation.  Finally, all of the help guides are out of date. The instructions and screenshots are from a prior interface and are not helpful. If switching user interfaces, you need to roll out the updated support documentation at the same time.  It seems they just moved to this new interface as there are still many things not working as they should

**What do you like best about OrgChart?**

I love the overall product and the team. Right from implementation till the platform being live, Jacob and Francois were super committed, helpful, supportive and cooperative. They were very patient in answering our questions, and they invested a lot of time and effort to customize the product for our organization; thanks to how dynamic and versatile their product is. The cost of this software was one fourth of the competing vendors and their product features outweighed all other comparable products. On top of that, the implementation team was super fast and approachable - everything was set up within a week. 

In terms of the product, its very very easy to use and is very dynamic. We have different views setup, including one with a very large font size, to make it more accessible for everyone. Its also very easy to update them. They had an API ready to be synced with our Dayforce system so everything gets updated in real-time. 

Last but not the least, the post-implementation experience is AWESOME! The support team responds in a span of hours and is always there to provide assistance via zoom meetings whenever needed. 

Overall, I would rate them 11/10. We are very very happy to get their product for the Royal Ontario Museum.

**What do you dislike about OrgChart?**

Honestly, can't think of anything at the moment. They are very pro-active about adding new features to the product, and take feedbac =k really seriously.

**What problems is OrgChart solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1) Very beneficial for headcount planning and human resource management; the layout of the charts makes it very easy to see talent gaps and assess the chain of command/span of control.

2) Super helpful for budgeting and forecasting both for Finance and HR department. 

3) Smooth integration/sync with other systems in the organization.

**What do you like best about OrgChart?**

This system has greatly saved us time and helped ensure our Org Charts are as accurate and insync as possible with out HRM systems. It was easy to implement and use.

There's little to nothing I currently dislike about this system. Once you understand functions it's very easy to use and navigate.

It is helping us solve gaps in our manual org charts, saving time for staff to update these systems, and making it an easy download to share the charts when needed without havign to correct them each time.

**What do you like best about OrgChart?**

OrgChart has a beautiful product - HR Business Partners and Business Leaders love the customizable look of the completed charts.  As an Administrator of our account, I appreciate the implementation team going above and beyond to help us achieve our goal.  In addition to the one-on-one help from the implementation team, the extensive documentation that OrgChart offers will allow us to enhance our charts as time goes on without requiring us to arrange for assistance. The documentation is both comprehensive and easy to follow.

**What do you dislike about OrgChart?**

Every system has its limitations and OrgChart is no different.  We would like some additional fields of data from our HR system (Dayforce) to be included in the integration role and we were required to create a large number of calculated fields in order to complete the views we wanted to share.  A "Copy" feature within the fields and formula's section would be a good addition to the product and would save a good amount of time.

**What problems is OrgChart solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our Core HR system does not allow for custom branding of its delivered org chart features.  OrgChart allows us to show individuality of our many brands while still showing how the company comes together as a whole.
