Streamlines Org Charts but Needs Better Integration **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Kira H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026 **What do you like best about OrgChart?** I like how OrgChart connects with our ADP, allowing us to see the org chart and share it with our parent company. It saves us from manually creating the org chart by hand in Adobe. Once I learned the process, I appreciated its appearance and found it somewhat user-friendly. I also created a custom report in ADP that I can easily upload into OrgChart, making updates seem straightforward. **What do you dislike about OrgChart?** I wish our new ADP Totalsource would sync with OrgChart so we didn't have to do the manual upload - it creates a lot of room for error. Without the automatic integration, you would need to train another person, have them create an identical custom report to upload, etc., so it's just potentially more resources wasted by having a manual upload. When we had ADP WFN, it was really an easy learning process. Now with the manual upload, it is a bit more cumbersome. **What problems is OrgChart solving and how is that benefiting you?** OrgChart connects with ADP, saving us from manually creating org charts. Still Not Sure If I Like It **Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Enforcement | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2025 **What do you like best about OrgChart?** I like that OrgChart will graft out your employee trees and has a nice presentation for the information. I also like that you can highlight areas that you want to stand out in the chart. **What do you dislike about OrgChart?** The system is very confusing to navigate. I would not say that it is user friendly. For instance, why is an administrator not able to reset a users password without impersonating them? It would make more sense to be able to reset it from the "Manage Users" page without having to then impersonate them. I found the onboarding and training to be very difficult to follow. We had Jonathan Arana as our implementation specialist. I found Jonathan very knowledgeable and helpful, but his teaching style was very difficult to follow and was not for me. He went very fast clicking around the system to show us how to do things so it was very hard to absorb what he was showing us. He did answer questions posed to him well, I just wish the training was presented in a way where we were able to absorb more. We will be relying heavily on the written manuals and instructions as the live training was hard to retain. **What problems is OrgChart solving and how is that benefiting you?** Orgchart is replacing the way we currently show our employee trees. It is benefiting us in that is draws from one central "source of truth" and we are able to add more labels to what we want shown such as employee number and org number along with their name, which is something we weren't able to do very easily in the past. **Official Response from Kimberlee Henry:** > We appreciate your feedback on the user experience and training. Promising Software, Terrible Implementation Experience **Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2024 **What do you like best about OrgChart?** We like that it connects to our HRIS for syncing data. We also like being able to secure the data by role to ensure no sensitive information is seen by the wrong people. We also like that you can export to editable powerpoints. **What do you dislike about OrgChart?** The implemenation process was very disorganized and the person helping us seemed to be inconvienenced by our requests. He provided no agenda of things we should be ready to discuss on the call, didn't seem to remember requirements we brought to his attention, and seemed unwilling to set things up outside our meeting times resulting in us wasting time watching him trying to figure out things during the call. The training on how the software works didn't happen until the very end of the implementation. This would have been 100% more useful during the very first meeting so we could understand how the system worked and what things we should be thinking about to configure. I would say lots of stuff was only mentioned at the end in training and we were not even given the option to configure it during the implementation. Finally, all of the help guides are out of date. The instructions and screenshots are from a prior interface and are not helpful. If switching user interfaces, you need to roll out the updated support documentation at the same time. It's functional and has the ability to interstate with HRIS which makes it easy to host on an internal intranet **What do you dislike about OrgChart?** The UX is very old feeling and just not very intuitive. I feel like I shouldn't have to reference a training video any time I want to do something but I do have to which is frustrating. It could be a lot more user friendly **What problems is OrgChart solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our HRIS orgchart is non functional practically so orgchart now has given us a lot more visibility into organizational structure which has been very helpful all around ### 7.
