"Enhances Team Recognition, Needs More Engagement Features"
What do you like best about Kudos?

I like Kudos for scheduling automated emails for Birthdays and Anniversaries, which saves time for our managers in recognizing their teams. I also enjoy the ability for team members to redeem points for gift cards to get items they want but perhaps can't afford. It's an easy way to make people feel appreciated. Additionally, the initial setup of Kudos was very easy, and the team was very supportive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kudos?

I wish there were features to create polls or make it easier to run contests/activations. Built-in software tools like those you see in other communication platforms would be great. Allowing teams to create polls to vote on topics and adding pictures to a shared album would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Use Kudos Rewards That Strengthen Workplace Culture"
What do you like best about Kudos?

The Kudos platform is a great way for employees to acknowledge each other's hard work while also offering rewards that are impactful and useful to the employee. Redeeming points at the end of the year feels like an extra holiday bonus or gift. The system is easy to use and contributes to a better workplace culture, especially in a hybrid work environment. What do you dislike about Kudos?

I do wish the points you give out carried over into the following month. Sometimes time gets away from you and you don't always remember to give out all your points. And it can be hard when you end up with just a few points leftover but wish you could give a colleague more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy, Values-Based Recognition That Strengthens Engagement and Morale"
What do you like best about Kudos?

What I like most about Kudos is the culture of recognition and appreciation it fosters. The platform makes it easy to acknowledge contributions in a meaningful and timely way, which helps strengthen engagement, collaboration, and morale across teams. I also value how Kudos aligns recognition with company values, reinforcing the behaviours that truly drive performance and a positive workplace culture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kudos?

While Kudos is a strong recognition platform, one area for improvement could be ensuring recognition feels consistently meaningful rather than transactional. As with any rewards system, there’s a risk that frequent or generic recognition can lose impact over time. Continuing to encourage specific, values-based recognition and educating users on best practices would help maintain authenticity and long-term engagement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Company-Wide Kudos That Make Everyone Feel Valued"
What do you like best about Kudos?

I really like that it enables me to make someone feel special and recognised for something they did. It also makes me feel valued when I receive Kudos. I especially appreciate that the whole company can see what people value and recognise in each other. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kudos?

It’s a shame that you can’t save any unused kudos past the end of the month. If you’re OOO at month-end and still have kudos left to give, you essentially “lose” the chance to send those kudos for that particular month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Recognition Platform with Tangible Rewards and Mobile Access"
What do you like best about Kudos?

Diverse functionality with useful features. A great recognition tool at your finger tips with wide applicability across multiple strategies. Recognition can be mapped with desired corporate behaviors thus providing further incentives for positive cultural enhancements. Real and tangible rewards are integrated via the online redemption store which increase emotional satisfaction when using the platform. The mobile integration of the software increases accessibility of the platform across a range of devices and services including Outlook plug-ins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kudos?

Nothing of strategic importance at the time of this review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Simple, Meaningful Way to Recognize Hard Work and Build Team Culture"
What do you like best about Kudos?

What I like most about Kudos is that it offers a simple, meaningful way for us to recognize each other’s hard work. It helps bring attention to contributions that might otherwise go unnoticed, and it strengthens a positive, supportive team culture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kudos?

I’m not able to manually enter Kudo points. For example, I wanted to use points to recognize two people, but to use all 50 points I have to send three different Kudo messages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Team Recognition and Appreciation"
What do you like best about Kudos?

Kudos is intuitive and easy to use, which makes it suitable for frequent, day-to-day recognition rather than just occasional use. The implementation was smooth, and the platform integrates recognition naturally into regular workflows. Customer support has been responsive and helpful when needed, ensuring a positive experience and quick resolution of any questions or issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kudos?

While Kudos works well overall, the feature set around reward flexibility could be improved. Point allocation feels somewhat limited, especially for larger or more diverse teams. Greater customization by role and deeper integrations with other workplace tools would further enhance the overall experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Motivates Teams with Public Recognition and Gratitude"
What do you like best about Kudos?

I love the idea of publicly congratulating the entire community on achievements or well-executed projects. It also serves as a way to show gratitude when a colleague offers you support or assistance with a task. The visibility of good work in front of leaders is a reward for a job well done. Sometimes companies forget to congratulate employees publicly, and this tool fosters this spirit and motivates employees to continue putting in that extra effort in their roles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kudos?

Limits on points and rewards

Many users are annoyed that there is a cap on the number of points they can give. This makes the recognition feel limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Swift Reinforcement and Easy Praise with Kudos"
What do you like best about Kudos?

I use Kudos to reinforce behavior-specific praise, which helps increase workplace performance. I find the swiftness of reinforcement and ease of use really valuable. It's satisfying not only to receive Kudos but also to reward others. I also appreciate the visual displays and how they link our core values to the behaviors we're highlighting. Kudos serves as a great avenue for increasing desired workplace behaviors, and setting up my personal account was seamless and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kudos?

I wouldn't mind the ability to distribute custom point values. If that's an option already, I haven't discovered it yet. For example, I did not have enough points to give an employee 50 Kudos, but wanted to give him my remainder, which was 35. Instead of being able to give 35 in one post, I had to split it into three different posts, which was kind of strange. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Recognition, Needs UI Upgrade"
What do you like best about Kudos?

I appreciate Kudos for helping me give proper recognition and rewards to team members based on their performance. I like the different types of recognitions, such as impressive, good work, and exceptional, as they help me award Kudos points and appreciate team members in front of management, making it easier to forecast their work. The recognition patterns help me classify their efforts and behavior effectively. I also find Kudos to be a very good platform for appreciating, praising, and giving recognition, with a current structure that works well. Setting it up was very easy and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kudos?

I think Kudos could use a UI upgrade and have more user-friendly navigation. It would be great if it showed the agents' current designation and allowed changes to their profile, like updating their designation, display picture, or moments. Additionally, giving nominal points for engaging in Kudos activities, like likes and comments, would be a nice touch for team building. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
