Float is one platform where you can add your projects in just a second where you can plan your projects based upon your team's real capacity as well you can set project budgets using total hours or fees and accurately forecast the resources you will need so don't think that there is something which I dislike, everything is amazing. It does not allow you to easily move a bunch of small tasks along in the timeline. Also, when trying to put half-day tasks, it's not so user-friendly because sometimes the cursor from neutral turns into cursor of completion or deletion without warning. The main screen is dedicated to delivering the most important information. The filtering, sorting and view modes are natural and easy to use. We leverage external integrations with our HR systems to synchronize time off and availability, ensuring the Float information is always up to date. Both the Schedule and Project Plan view allow easy focus on possible issues and opportunities. The customization tagging combined with rich filtering really makes it accessible to all our team. The main interface is clear and offers a great overview. Planning time on projects and tasks is intuitive and easy. Tracking your time along those tasks also works great. I don't like that each task has to belong to a project because it limits the possibility of tracking day-to-day tasks like answering emails, doing check-ups on the team or talking with other team members. It empowers the productivity culture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Working with float in conjunction with my managers has made keeping track of my projects and my time sheets so easy. It really has been a huge help. Instead of going through emails or memos I can login to Float and see my entire work history for the month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The interface is pretty predictable, it usually works just like I think it does. This is very useful because while I'm working hard it's not great to spend a lot of time registering what I was doing, so the process of producing timesheets should be fast and straightforward. Nothing is too bad but I have some ideas for improvements:

- While I'm creating a task, I might not be part of the project of the said task yet, so it would be nice to show me Projects I'm not a part of and a way to solicit entering the projects so I can create the task and then later my manager just have to approve it.

It can be buggy, and the calendar integration doesn't always work. it's not super intuitive but once you get the hang of it, it's worth it. The support team are really helpful too if there are any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The time-logging process couldn't be smoother. And the big-picture visibility of time logged for the week (any week) is great! It's way easier to fix time-logging mistakes on the fly. That was very tedious with the system my company used before: Accelo. I'm glad we switched. To be clear, I was not an administrator of our Float system, I was just a user—an employee who used it for logging time. Took me a few moments to get the hang of the user interface. The UI is not that complicated, but it's different from what I was used to. Once it clicked for me I had no issues. Now I prefer the Float UI style. I think it's more elegant. Less obvious from the software designer's point of view, but ultimately more straightforward for the end-user.
