What do you like best about Float.com?

I was looking for a tool that would allow capacity planning and tracking for a project management team.

We needed a tool which allows to share the planning with the client on RO access.

This tool simply provided me with all the aspects i wanted. moreover, it's friendlyness and ease of use convinced me (if needed) to select it.

What do you dislike about Float.com?

As the team leader and administrator of the Float Application I feel is missing :

The report Tab is not available on mobile devices.

What do you like best about Float.com?

The ability to track people's available time and percentage utilization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float.com?

Some of the input methods are confusing or counter-intuitive. For instance, when creating new tasks, the duration often changes based on other inputs (hrs per day, # of days, etc). This makes it too easy to make mistakes. Also, I would like to be able to see reports and the weekly schedule in the same window simultaneously, so that I don't need to flip back and forth between tabs. Both are useful tools, but the extra step of switching while not being able to see the other form of info makes a complicated task even more complicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Float.com?

I find that the features already present are exactly what I need for my start up: the possibility to call each other via Chrome browser is a plus.

The mobile application is really very useful and makes Float easier to use. Not only does it allow me to continue to follow the threads of conversation wherever I am (in a meeting, on the road, anywhere), but also to send attachments (images, records, etc.). What do you dislike about Float.com?

I'm a fan of it, I find that it is not lacking in functionality, but if I ever change my mind, I know that the customer service department will welcome my remarks and suggestions with kindness and professionalism.

However, I do find that the possibility of not having to change browsers and make or receive calls from Mozilla would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Float.com:

Float as an internal communication tool makes all this possible, bringing managers and employees closer to the company and meeting their expectations in terms of information. Fun, practical and functional, Float has become for me an indispensable managerial tool, both to explain the company's strategy and to highlight my results. Lack of ability to create a dashboard(s) - like one that shows all team members in one place based on account or project without having to click around as much.
