What do you like best about Float.com?

I like the ease of use, lots of functionality, shortcuts, and intuitive design. Very easy to drag and drop projects and tasks to easily capture time, and easy to export data when needed. Any cons that existed are quickly updated and improved upon, with new releases almost monthly. Sometimes tool are a bit hidden but once you find them, they're very helpful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Float.com?

What I love about Float is how easy it is to use the user interface, it's intuitive and it gives an amazing overview of your planning. The daily updates on mail make sure that you never miss a thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float.com?

It's probably a small little thing but having to log in every time you visit float is a little frustrating, I would prefer if you're logged in right away. Nothing too big though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Float.com?

Being able to easily edit and click and drag my schedule around is helpful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float.com?

The biggest pain point I have is that notes do not carry over from schedule to log time. This is very frustrating as I need descriptions for logged times to sometimes go to the client as a line item for an invoice or to associate with a phase of a project in the invoice. What do you like best about Float.com?

Float helps you organise your tasks for the day, and you can link JIRA tickets directly with your Float entries. If you have many tickets in JIRA, Float can help you schedule which ones to tackle first! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float.com?

What I would like to see is if your Float ticket is associated with a JIRA ticket, maybe have the functionality to see the whole JIRA ticket in the Float entry. The title, description, reporter, and comments from the ticket. That would be super helpful! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?

Scheduling! Definitely scheduling! Before using Float, I would look at what JIRA tickets I was assigned and, unless told otherwise, pick one and go with it. Float lets me know what my PM wants me to work on for the day and I can see what I am scheduled for the foreseeable future so I can plan ahead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Useful for Scheduling"

What do you like best about Float.com?

I enjoy using the real-time calendar. I like having the freedom to edit my own calendar's schedule, whereas in the past I used to have to go around the office telling everyone my schedule in person which was exhausting. I haven't yet found the best way to name and organize my projects. The different project managers name their projects using a different naming system, so it is not quite stream-lined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Float.com?

Float has made daily scheduling and project management a far simpler process, it is simple and aesthetically designed. The layout makes it easy to see both my own schedule, and that of my team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float.com?

Sometimes the integration with 3rd party apps such as Asana is a bit clunky, but on the whole there is very little to complain about. Some more customisation options for the colour scheme etc. might be nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't like the limited set of keyboard shortcuts. I wish it were easier to add items without mouse click-and-drag. I often accidentally make changed and need to revert. I wish it included a stopwatch style counter like competitors (e.g., Toggl) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
