What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

I've been a user of BILL for about 8 years accross two different companies. They tool automates approval workflows for accounts payable, accounting coding at the time of invoice entry, and payment journal entries. It integrates seamlessly with Quickbooks online via the "sync" function and is able to connect to any bank. Recently our payment complexity has increased via international payments to independent contractors and BILL is able to provide a variety of payment methods and currencies in a way that has helped our business have a global footprint. What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?

Sometimes if you have a new vendor you need to pay urgently, the first payment to a new vendor might take an extra day or two in order to process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

My company uses Bill for AP only. We save hours each month not manually typing invoices into QBO anymore! We also love the AI/auto-fill features for repeat invoices, as well as how easy Bill makes it to copy information over from the invoice image into the entry fields. What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?

The only downside is that sometimes large payments- tens of thousands- can be delayed by up to one week. That doesn't always work for our vendors, so I'll frequently end up wiring them directly, and then marking the bill as paid manually in Bill. Sometimes I forget to note the manual payment (I wear many hats, not just AP- a dedicated AP team member likely would never forget this!), which can throw things out of whack at the end of each month. Another issue we run in to sometimes is vendors not being able to "figure out" how to join Bill on their end, but that is likely more of a them thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We do have an option for you to increase your AP limit so that you can eliminate the delays for larger payments, and we have included the document below that links to our AP limit increase form. What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

The interface is simple, easy to learn and easy to use. I also find their support to be very quick and very helpful. The syncing feature with Quickbooks Online is almost perfect - easy to set up and works seamlessly in the background. It does occasionally choke, but we've been able to pretty easily get them resolved.

We use Bill.com almost exclusively via emailing invoices to be paid directly to our unique AP inbox. The interface to ingest those bills and turn them into Bill.com bills is easy and fairly automatic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?

There could be more advances in interpreting the emails we sent into the Bill.com inbox and ingesting them even easier then they do it now. And when we sometimes get sync errors with Quickbooks Online, there could be better support in resolving them quickly and easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

My company uses BILL for the AP and the procurement modules. What I like best about the platform is the ability to have all of my payables, aside from credit cards, consolidated into one location. It allows for easy data retrieval. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?

There's a few things that I think could be improved.

1. It would be nice to be able to put an invoice in the platform that was purchased with a credit card but not sync with QuickBooks as our credit card processing platform already does that

2. In the procurement module, it states that you can add multiple approvers to a PR but you only need one to approve it to become a PO. That doesn't appear to be the case Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We appreciate your idea of being able to have an invoice in BILL that was paid for by credit card, but have it not sync to QuickBooks, and wanted to let you know that you can mark your invoices/payments not to sync to QuickBooks if that is your preference. You can also have multiple approvers on an invoice, and only need one to approve before paying. You have the option to set up an approval group to do that, and we included a document below that explains how to do that. Please continue to provide your feedback. What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

BILL AP/AR is an awesome one-stop-shop for a daily-use administrator. It's intuitive and as simple as it can be, while allowing for nuance when needed. It's easy to keep track of any open items, assign and reassign approvers, add and edit vendors, get vendors set up with e-payment, and collect and store W-9s. What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?

Downsides to BILL are having to create invoices linked to purchase orders via NetSuite first and then sync to bill. If there was a way to pull in Purchase Order data from NetSuite and create an invoice directly in BILL based on the purchase order items that would be a nice enhancement. BILL streamlines our AP process and really has all of the core functionalities that you need. It's extremely easy from start to finish - setting up vendors/invoices, managing documents like W-9s or contracts, automating approval workflows and payments all while keeping a very easily trackable audit trail on everything. What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

The AI feature that recognizes trends and patterns in past invoices to code out new invoices saves time and allows my accountant to review vs. input. It is easy to use daily by dragging and dropping invoices into the inbox, or emailing them. Customer support representatives are usually quick to reply. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?

One downside, which is fixed by increasing our membership is that our integration into QBO doesn't allow for invoice images to be transferred over, and we cannot codes invoices to an A/R account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

We use Bill AP for our invoice management and payment system. It syncs well with QBO and integration was pretty quick. The approval systems work well and allow us to have an all-in-one system for our AP needs. The system reads invoices and takes care of most of the busy work so most of what we need to do is review, get approvals, and send the payment all in the same system. My AP person is in Bill daily and when I review his work and approve the bills to pay it is easy and painless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
