What do you like best about Earth Class Mail?

They receive, scan, and forward mail efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Earth Class Mail?

We typically receive hundreds of payments per month. Currently, we utilize the service for receiving and forwarding check payments to the bank. However, their exports are very limited. There is no date-specific Excel export available for checks deposited, which includes check number, amount, and organization name. While this information is present in the tool, it cannot be exported efficiently. Additionally, a date-specific PDF report of check images is unavailable. Please note that ECM refers to their check management services as 'Checkstream', they claim to "deposit checks from their mailroom straight to your bank account" - they do not actually deposit checks, the payments are mailed to your bank.

Unfortunately, the support team has not been very responsive regarding the inclusion of these basic features in the product roadmap.

Although the software integrates with QuickBooks, there are several issues: the payment type isn't imported automatically and requires manual updating, the payment date doesn't align with the bank deposit date and also requires manual updating, and recording partial payments is not possible. If the payment amount is less than the invoice amount, an error occurs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to onboard, nice UI/UX and Stripe Atlas colaboration brings some discount to use their services but if I know their support quality, I'm %100 sure that I'll never use them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Earth Class Mail?

Support people is so rude and cancelling the account is impossible. I have not use the service but forget to cancel subscription but they want to get all invoice paid to cancel the service. It is not a company that support its client satisfaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Earth Class Mail?

Poor execution (addresses bounce mail) and constant price increases and plan downgrades (I now pay almost 10x for less service than I used to get). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Earth Class Mail:

I've been a customer of Earth Class Mail (ECM) for many years, but the recent more-than-doubling of their prices (from $14.95 to $29 and now to $79!) has forced me to move to another better, cheaper provider (Anytime Mailbox). The last time ECM doubled their prices (in 2017, shortly after their bankruptcy) they committed in writing that us loyal customers would enjoy a "lifetime credit for an extra address" and should accept the change on the basis that we "will not be excluded from new features and improvements in the future". Not even a year later they instead reduced service levels, claiming it was "not an economical business model". Then a year after that (September 2019) they reneged on their "lifetime" promise, instituting a huge 70% price increase and charging for addresses. As if that wasn't enough, the "premium" San Francisco address is itself a forwarder, meaning that my packages are more often than not being rejected; this "service" currently costs $109/month before usage fees! To add insult to injury, I've just learned from another irate customer that they plan to continue charging me for 6 months after I leave, but there's no point discussing with them as they will just refer to clauses buried deep in their terms. The best way to avoid the disruption and expense I'm experiencing now is to avoid signing up in the first place; there are plenty of other, better options out there. What do you like best about Earth Class Mail?

I love the new UI, it's easy to use, find everything you need, and make changes to mail actions. It's a great improvement over Earth Class Mail's (now sunsetted) old interface. I also like the ease of use of the mobile website—I do a lot of multi-tasking business from my phone while traveling, and having a useful and easy mobile site is helpful. What do you dislike about Earth Class Mail?

I dislike the cost to value ratio. We pay a monthly subscription fee plus additional fees for postage for any mail forwarded, plus additional fees for any special desired actions. As far as I can tell, there's no simple way to automate shredding of certain types of mail (to avoid storage fees)... and if there is a way to do that, it's not obvious (so that UX needs to be worked on). It feels like it's nickel and dime-ing us. Also, the Mail Status titles are unclear. There's no key for the various statuses that's obvious and easily accessible. Carefully consider what your goals are for a mail forwarding service. If you need daily mail forwarding, be prepared to pay postage for each additional piece of mail in addition to your subscription fee. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

-Can view history
