"Userpilot is a great tool to interact with users!"
What do you like best about Userpilot?

Since we are using Userpilot as our Onboarding tool, we can react instant towards customer requests more efficiently. The intuitive UI makes it possible to turn ideas into actions. Users could be guided by Userpilot content more efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

Overall, Userpilot has an excellent customer service. However, sometimes our team felt a little taken aback whenever it came to new migrations as it had an impact on current content but were not communicated before. It was tricky to resolve the issues, but we have not run into major technical issues over the last couple of months. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Flow Builder with Outstanding, Fast Support"
What do you like best about Userpilot?

Userpilot is quite user friendly for setting up flows without needing much help from developers. However, the highlight for me has been their support team. Whenever I face a technical issue or get stuck, they are quick to respond. It’s refreshing to talk to support staff who actually understand the product and provide practical solutions right away Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

The platform has a lot of features, so it can feel a bit overwhelming at first. Also, some advanced styling options have a slight learning curve. Additionally, the platform's interface doesn't support the Arabic language yet, which is something I hope to see in the future. However, their documentation usually covers most other technical gaps Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The userpilot experience uncovered"
What do you like best about Userpilot?

Userpilot is a powerful no code product adoption platform that allows teams to build in app experiences like tooltips, modals, checklists, and flows without relying on engineering. Its visual editor is simple and straight forward, making it easy to design and customize onboarding experiences that feel native to the product. The platform also offers strong segmentation and event tracking, enabling teams to target the right users at the right time, and its analytics provide clear ideas into feature adoption and user behavior. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

Ofcourse it does have a few downsides. It can be relatively expensive for early stage startups, especially compared to lighter onboarding tools, and it doesn’t offer a fully free plan. Some teams also find its advanced customization limited unless they’re on higher tier plans, and complex flows may take time to set up properly. Additionally, Userpilot focuses mainly on web apps, so support for mobile apps is more limited, which can be a setback for mobile first products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"UserPilot Nails the Core Use Case with a Smooth, Intuitive Experience"
What do you like best about Userpilot?

Personally, I didn't have to set it up - but we compared against other tools and both the administrators and day-to-day users found it so much smoother. Competitors have lots of new features, and all sorts of AI options, but they just haven't mastered the core use case which UserPilot seems to have nailed.

Once you get into the product, tagging pages is easy, running reports and setting up dashboards is intuitive, and segmenting and filtering behaves as exactly as you would expect. It's just easy to use, and has layers and layers of powerful features once you get it. The ramp up is great. You get loads of value early on, and as you spend more time with it, you get more and more back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

Pulling data out could be easier. Find that not all tables and reports can be exported, and when they are - tends to be raw data rather than informative reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Userpilot Makes Product Data Actionable with Powerful Analytics & HubSpot Integration"
What do you like best about Userpilot?

Userpilot has made it possible to make our product data accessible and insightful in an easier way. Previously, we could retrieve data, but it was difficult to make it usable and actionable. Now, with the link to HubSpot, we can help and guide our users at the right moment within our product. The product analytics, but also the engagement aspect, make it a very useful tool for a SaaS product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

It takes a bit of figuring out how to use the product analytics, but that is also due to our own event naming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowering In-App Feedback and Engagement with No-Code Simplicity"
What do you like best about Userpilot?

What I like best about Userpilot is how much control and flexibility it gives me to engage customers directly inside the product, without needing engineering support.

I can launch NPS surveys, feature announcements, onboarding flows, and targeted messages quickly and tailor them to very specific user segments. The platform is incredibly robust—there are multiple ways to reach users, test messaging, and drive adoption—yet it’s still accessible for non-technical teams.

Most importantly, Userpilot lets me meet customers where they already are. Instead of relying solely on email or one-off outreach, I can communicate contextually, reinforce value at the right moment, and gather real-time feedback that actually informs our strategy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

Not as many opportunities for the mobile-first facing applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless In-App Messaging with Intuitive Insights"
What do you like best about Userpilot?

We currently use Userpilot for mainly in-app messaging (tooltips, modals, etc) in-app surveys and NPS. The UI is very easy to use, so that also eliminates the need for development to step in. Last, the insights portion is nice and very intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

There's a decent learning curve with this where it's not necessarily with other products like this, so ease of use could be better. Some of the workflows previews can also show differently when live, so that can be a bit frustrating. However, connecting with the CSM is usually easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Accelerated Onboarding with Comprehensive Analytics"
What do you like best about Userpilot?

I use Userpilot to test different onboarding flows and messaging strategies because it allows me to launch and iterate quickly. I can create, test, and update in-app experiences without involving engineering, which speeds up experimentation and iteration. The built-in analytics make it easy to see what's working and where users drop off, helping me refine the user journey and improve activation and retention. The reporting dashboards make decision-making much faster as I can see performance metrics tied directly to each in-app experience. I appreciate the cleaner interface and easier segmentation and quicker A/B testing capabilities for onboarding flows compared to what I used before. The initial setup was easy, supported by clear tutorials and documentation, allowing me to organize flows, configure targeting, and track performance efficiently without needing help. I occasionally integrate Userpilot with Slack for notifications about flow completions or experiment results, which helps me stay on top of engagement metrics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

As the number of flows grows, managing and organizing experiences can get a bit cluttered. Improved folder structures or tagging systems would make large scale management smoother. A tagging system would be useful, allowing me to assign multiple tags like new user or premium plan or A/B test to each flow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Tool with Excellent Support"
What do you like best about Userpilot?

I like that Userpilot is a complete package, providing opportunities to combine multiple features like using survey results to segment users and target specific elements towards them. I appreciate the built-in dashboards and custom-made reports for analyzing user data and the features that optimize the user experience such as tutorials, tool-tips, and a resource center. The customer support is outstanding, answering quickly, and assisting with data migration. I also find the setup relatively easy, although it required some slight changes in our code-base. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

I find it inconvenient that the feature to share specific reports outside Userpilot isn't available for all relevant standard reports, so I still have to manually create and send some monthly reports. Also, while there's a staging environment to test some settings before applying them, it's not available for all features. For instance, the resource center lacks a way to test things once deployed to production. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful, Easy-to-Use, and Great for User Engagement"
What do you like best about Userpilot?

I use Userpilot to proactively educate users with contextual guidance, which has significantly reduced the number of support tickets I receive. I really like the built-in NPS and feedback surveys. Being able to collect insights directly inside the product has improved the response rates and gives me actionable feedback. The NPS surveys help me identify unhappy users before they churn. When someone gives a low score, I can immediately flag that account and have the customer success team reach out, helping me act early instead of reacting after a cancellation. Also, I use it alongside platforms like Salesforce, which allows the sales team to see product engagement insights and prioritize accounts based on activity levels. I rate it 8 out of 10 because the platform is powerful and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

Although customization is good overall, there are occasional limitations when trying to perfectly match the brand design. More granular design control would be welcome. In some cases, I wanted slightly different design variations of the same flow for different user segments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Boosts Engagement with Seamless Onboarding"
What do you like best about Userpilot?

I use Userpilot as a central tool for improving retention and accelerating time to value in my product-led growth strategy, which helps convert new signups into active users. Userpilot solves the problem of feature under-adoption by allowing me to highlight features at the right moment, increasing engagement and overall product usage. The biggest advantage for me is how fast I can launch and iterate without relying heavily on developers to deploy onboarding changes. This helps me respond quickly to user feedback by deploying tooltips or guided walkthroughs to address any confusion immediately. Setting up Userpilot didn’t require much developer involvement; I could create tooltips, checklists, and modals on my own, which made launching and testing experiences much better. I also found Userpilot more scalable for my needs after moving from another product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

While the A/B testing feature is useful, it could benefit from more advanced statistical insights and clearer reporting. For example, stronger confidence indicators or automatic winner selection would make experimentation even more powerful and easier to interpret. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
