At Komet Sales, this tool has unblocked multiple growth opportunities for us to reduce onboarding times and costs, increase conversion and retention, analyze our user's activity, gather their feedback, and gauge NPS.
Basically, UserPilot quickly became our most used tool in the product area.
I am a product team member, and we use this tool for multiple things, from creative interactive tutorials (flows) to user surveys, marketing announcements, etc. The analytics dashboards are super cool and the tool is extremely easy to learn and implement.
The customer support team has been always available and quick to assist us with the few problems we've had during implementation.
We love UserPilot and it's not just us in the product team. Every customer-facing team in our company is thrilled with the possibilities. The only thing that is missing is more time on our side to implement every idea.
2025 Update:
Userpilot will definitely pay for itself, especially if you use it like we did: No-code internal user marketing/upselling.
Last year, we launched one of our newest products, but our marketing department was struggling to get leads through the usual channels. The quarter was running out, and it was time to try something new.
That's where we, at product, came in with an in-app upselling campaign to create awareness where it mattered most: our existing clients, and in the only place where we could be sure they would see it.
Within two weeks of the quarter ending, and only two companies having subscribed before this campaign, we had crushed our quarterly goal of 20 companies subscribing to our new product; we got 30.
Since then, Userpilot has become our go-to tool for upselling our range of products to existing clients. Nothing has been more effective so far. And only with this use case (one of many that consistently add value to our business) and the contracts obtained from that campaign can we safely say that Userpilot has paid itself multiple times over.
And with this update, I can say again: Userpilot is entirely worth it, especially when you use it for more than just providing contextual help to your users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing that is missing is the ability to rearrange the information inside of the app based on the selected column or desired parameters.
2025 Update:
They removed the heatmap feature, which is super important to us. However, I spoke with Danny, our CSM, and he assured me they are working to improve it and bring it back soon.
Let's hope they do, it was very useful, especially when showing findings to decision-makers not involved in day-to-day operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
