What do you like best?

The flexibility of the software allowed me to start with a simple database to support my son’s customer focused business, which is Tree Surgery, and to refine it later into a more complex model.

The system now includes his customers, work lists, risk management, invoicing and accounts.

A simple dashboard gives accurate up to date information, vital for work planning and financial management. We use the calendar, with colour coded text for daily work planning and emails linked to buttons for quotes, invoices and receipts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The calendar can get cluttered and the facility to have more than one calendar available would be useful. If individual calendars could be created for example for quotes, work lists and plant maintenance due dates, would add a potentially very live feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The Tree Surgery business requires good customer interaction linked to good risk management work records. Ninox has allow us to the create tables, views and printed reports to support the essentials of our business.

Using historical records we can now provide more detailed analysis of current work loads and monitor the financial impacts of business decisions.

By creating tables for hazards, risks and method statements and linking these to individual jobs we are reducing the risks to staff and customer in what is potentially a high risk business.

free trail can give at least more participant to join so that group can convenience and can motivate them to purchase this app. Try get more valuable package to the member. When have live chat option then the user can approach the customer service immediately and can solve the problem they're having instead of waiting for email solution. “BigTime is the Way to Go”
What do you like best?

I love how user friendly this program is. We recently switched from WorkBook and I don't ever want to look back because of how difficult it was. BigTime is well organized, I LOVE that I can save things or undo things in a simple click.

I'm still new to using it, but I must say one of my favorite things is probably the connection between BigTime and Quickbooks. I work a lot with Quickbooks, and the fact that things are linked and I can simply click "sync" and information transfers between the two means less duplicate entry work for me, and much less margin for error. I don't mind doing the work in any way, but this has already been incredibly helpful already in alleviating more time for the rest of my tasks.

Also, the fact that they have a live chat for customer service is amazing. And when they're not live, they'll answer you via email very quickly. That is so essential to me because sometimes I can't wait a week for an answer like I have with other programs in the past. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

So far I haven't found much I have disliked about the software. I will say that I wish we could customize some of the categories. It will take some time but "Activity" from our previous software means something completely different than "Activity" in BigTime. Give it a try! You never know if you like something until you give it a chance. I'm sure there are lots of great programs out there, but this one I definitely recommend already, and we haven't even been using it that long! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The biggest problem I think that has been solved for my workday is probably the amount of time I save on being able to sync things between BigTime and Quickbooks. I feel like I used to waste so much time because I was having to manually enter in data to Quickbooks AND to our old program. What do you like best?

The nested symbols are very powerfull, from basic icons to complexe components. It’s also useful to simulate atomic design. Personnally, I use this feature a lot with recurring components, such as the nav for instance. Especially used in a design system, you can save a lot of time.

There are plugins to help you collaborate with colleagues on the same project or export specifications for the dev team if you client won’t allow to use any cloud solution. that being said « sketch.cloud » is really helpful to share your mock-ups with the client and the dev team: they can navigate between the mock-ups, test your prototype and see all the required specifications for a perfect development.

Of course, you will find plugins to create very powerfull prototypes and submit them to user tests. If a basic prototype is sufficient, Sketch provides all you need to demonstrate or test a user journey.

The approach by plugins allow you to only install what you need, in order to gain beter performances and possibilities.

At last but not least, Sketch’s developers listen their users and the app is constantly evolving to help design fester and better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Large projects require a powerful Mac... and only a Mac, as sketch is not available on Windows. Also, you may need to limite your RAM use with other apps if you want to open several (big) Sketch projects to reuse some previous designs.

You may not be able to open old projects with an updated version of Sketch and you might have to install an older version of Sketch, in order to « convert » it to the new format.

Using bitmaps will increase your file size and decrease performances. It would be nice if we could use « dynamic links » to images in a specific folder for instance, as Adobe use to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Just look for tutorials and communities: there are a lot of people sharing insights and helping each other. It will help you power up and become an expert about Sketch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Most of our clients already having a design system made it available on Sketch, so you can begin a new projet very quickly. A lot of plugins are available on Sketch to help you achieve a lot of complexe tasks within few clicks.

Sketch provides powerful solutions to prototype and gain time. You can easily do the UX and UI simultaneously, export, share and iterate.

What do you like best?

KiSSFLOW allows users without any coding/programming experience to build complex workflows. Formulas are sometimes needed to set up conditional tasks, but the support team is very responsive, either providing the needed information through a chat or quickly getting on a call/screen share to demonstrate how to do something or how to resolve an issue. What do you dislike?

There is not anything to really dislike. If I had to name something, I would like to have greator control of the home page view and ability to show any field and filter on any field. Implementation is currently in-process, but we see great potential to solve current work order process confusion and bring greater control to the process including visibility and analytics. Our current work order process is largely manual, so automating it and bringing visibility to all stakeholders will be a big improvement. Also, I was able to duplicate our current travel request process (currently in a different system) and build it successfully within less than 1 day even though the current system was built through coding by programmer and many hours of billable hours. There are some important things that I like best. The principal one is the way the tasks are organized and how easy is to find what task you have to deliver and when.

I have been using Quixy for the last 7 months. The experience has been great, the platform provided rich controls to build my forms easily the way i wanted. The platform is very quick that i was able to develop a form and configure business rules in a hour and publish it. The management of the project is difficult, especially if remote control is necessary. Teamwork helps us to have a centralized process and also to control our steps and responsibilities in order to ensure consistency with the company's immediate and long-term targets. It gives a free trial, so that everyone is able to see how it works and determine which plan suits their company needs. The method of time tracking and monitoring is weak. You can potentially install things such as Harvest so it turns out that it's a good headache if the system is right. The feature that sold us on Pipefy versus other project management tools was the integrated e-mail function. It allows us as a marketing agency to handle almost all external client communication directly from a project "card" or request so that anyone in our team at any time can see the trail of communication between client and our department. Pipefy has changed the game for our marketing agency. We now handle all requests for service through Pipefy. The intake form we built has allowed our agency to be more productive than ever. We can see and be notified of incoming requests in real-time. We or our clients can set deadlines for each project. The visual "Kanban" view is a game changer for me as a team leader. I can easily see where projects stand and with filters can see what each team member's workload is. The reporting tools allow us to analyze how many projects we complete each month and sort by client and other filters. This has allowed us to provide our upper management with better reporting. Since Covid-19 broke out, our team has reduced due to retirements and departures. Without Pipefy, we could not have been able to complete MORE projects with fewer staff. Pipefy has also prevents projects from falling through the cracks. I compared Pipefy to all the other major project management offerings, and it was by far the best fit.
