Occasionally, the page takes too long to load. I swear my internet is dead. It just spins. I don’t like that I can’t view the exact date the money hits my bank account. It creates a lot of stress when rent is due. Also the support is simply a chatbot that emails me links to articles that I’ve already read which is very annoying as I just want to speak to someone. It makes it so I don’t have to send HR an email for every little thing which is great for both of us. I’m able to access my employee benefits and tax documents through it instead of digging through my cluttered download files and it also keeps all of the payroll related issues organized so I don’t have to spend time worrying if my hours were logged correctly. While HROne does a great job overall, one thing I don’t like is that it can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming for new users. Certain features take time to understand, and without enough guided support, the learning curve can feel quite steep. With a little more hand-holding during onboarding—clearer, simpler explanations and more proactive human assistance—the experience would feel far more reassuring and people-centric. Area of improvement: The EverythingBenefits area should really be evaluated. The EDI connection process could be easier. The Performance Review platform could be more intuitive. The workflow process required for this process is unreal. Not sure why the development team is not able to add commas to the dollar amounts on the Applicant Tracking platform. Honestly, there’s very little to dislike. As with any robust platform that offers many features, it can take some time to fully explore and understand all the tools available. The only thing i strongly recommend to better improve automation/self service is to group the esigns. for example having esigns only available to admins and separate group of esigns available to employee/managers so they can trigger flows themselves to go down the approval flow without heavy admin. For example we would want employees to be able to trigger the confirmation of employment flow so they can self serve. This is really restrictive in terms of automation.

sometime implementation can be hard to understand we receive guides which have been powered by AI and recently one of our support tickets which was used in the response and took longer to resolve the problem.

All our performance management is now on Hi bob and we often get feedback how easy it is to use compared to the paper process before and all the information is stored with a progressive timeline.

I’m generally liking BambooHR a lot. If I were to suggest an improvement, it would be around the time log or clocking-in feature where team members need to record their daily work hours. It would be great if there were an easier way to do this, maybe through a dedicated iOS app for MacBook or a widget, so the team wouldn’t have to log in to BambooHR every day just to start and stop their hours worked. BambooHR brings my whole team into one place. In a company with 150+ employees, it’s essential that my specific team and direct reports are easy to manage, and BambooHR makes that simple. Now it’s pretty easy to keep meetings tracked, along with relevant notes, so the parties involved can refer back to the information when they need it. There were a lot of little things such as being able to pull multiple paychecks. The reps constantly changed and would reach out asking if you wanted to buy something or add something to your current product. PTO was a nightmare as far as setting up policies. Having a designated account manager is nice but it was often changed. Switching from Paylocity was not easy, there is not a lot Paylocity does to help with the transition. It can be difficult to justify spending money on myself and my personal wellbeing/lifestyle. Having the LSA account with Forma, that is specifically designed to be spent on those things, allows me to do things like travel and get massages without the guilty of spending money from my paycheck that could otherwise be used for things like rent or groceries. I've used my Forma account to get massage/reiki, book a plane ticket for a trip with my best friends, and even buy a book I'd been wanting to read. After more than a year working with HR4 (so the honeymoon phase is over), we have no regrets. While there is nothing we dislike about HR4, I can say that the desktop application is preferred by many of our employees over the mobile app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have been able to eliminate many of our traditional spreadsheets and processes. HR4 will allow us to be more efficient and will serve as an excellent communication tool.
