I strongly advise against using this product for India-based teams. It is built entirely for the US market, resulting in a poor user experience for Indian employees. The implementation process traps you into using their mandatory vendor partners. You cannot run payroll unless you sign up with their bank, and the benefits module will not work unless you use their chosen insurance provider. They do not disclose these forced partnerships until the contract is signed. Furthermore, the compliance module is highly unreliable. They botched our EPFO entries on the first payroll run and have failed to fix them despite months of escalation. Since we are a company spread across 3 continents, Rippling manages to get every employee onto a single platform reasonably well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The biggest issue I had with the platform was during sign-up. My account ended up being linked to both my personal and office email addresses, which was confusing and made it unclear which one I should use. It has all the HR-related queries and information an employee needs in one place, with a clean and simple UI. For me, applying for leave and checking the holiday calendar is really easy, and it also helps me see which team members are on leave today and who isn’t. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I dislike that, sometimes, when I make a specific change, it ends up affecting many other things without me realizing it. Some things are connected in ways that aren’t always obvious, and that makes it hard to make changes—especially for one-off, unique situations. Paycom has solved the onboarding and benefits onboarding process for us. It benefits us because it gives us a lot of time back to be able to focus on other areas. One minor thing I dislike about Employment Hero is that the help chatbox sits very close to the action/save button throughout payroll processing, and you can’t move it.

A bigger issue is that Employment Hero will sometimes roll out software enhancements without any notification, which changes the way the system behaves and can affect your processes. It doesn’t necessarily break anything, but you then have to adjust your workflows to suit. Since we implemented Employment Hero, our old manual processes for timesheets and leave applications have been replaced with digital workflows and a clear audit trail. This has made the payroll process much more efficient.

TriNet mostly has a lot of positive aspects, there are certain areas that could use improvement. Specifically, the payroll platform feels slightly outdated and could benefit from a refresh, though it functions quite well overall. We use TriNet to offer better benefits packages, attract high-level employees, manage health and retirement plans at competitive rates, and simplify onboarding and hiring processes. Our team had a different Onboarding tool earlier and also other trackers to track the progress of the tasks, however, with HROne it becomes easy as It has all the features that are required to set up Shared Services in an organization. What stands out most about Homebase is how completely effortless it makes daily workforce and staff management. From day one, the platform felt entirely intuitive with virtually zero learning curve. My main complaint is the rigid structure of the PTO policy creation and management. Currently, Homebase limits each employee to only one active PTO policy (and one sick leave policy) at a time. I need the flexibility to create and assign multiple distinct PTO policies to single employees—such as separating standard vacation, personal time, or custom tier-based accruals—without being forced into a single blanket policy. The main thing I disliked was that resolving complex payroll, tax, or technical issues often meant working through tier-one representatives who didn’t have deep system knowledge. I was running a fragmented stack—using one tool or spreadsheet for hours and job timecards, another for cutting checks, paper or separate web forms for onboarding documents, and external portals for health or retirement benefits. Moving data between all of these systems led to errors, duplicate entries, and endless reconciliations.

We don't have any specific dislikes, but there are a few enhancements we would love to see:

1. Consolidation of Benefits: It would be fantastic if Kota could increase the range of benefits offered. It would be great if we could offer some additional benefits without having to find a different provider, such as cash plan medical, cycle to work, staff discounts, etc.

2. Global Office Management: We have offices in several countries, including Canada, the US, Malaysia, Australia, Mexico, and the UAE. It would be great if we could manage these international offices through Kota as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We've integrated the Kota platform with our HR system, making enrolment a breeze. Now, we can easily see who is and isn't enrolled in one place.

Monthly invoicing helps manage our cash flow, and we can download member lists and invoices directly from the portal.

I don't like the login process. The "magic link" being the default way to log in is just an obstacle to the routine username and password, which I prefer. I don't want to have to check my email every time I log in and rely on clicking specific links. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

BiznusSoft helped us run payroll much easier. Our employees are keeping time by now easily on mobile. We’re seeing less manual intervention- basically none- because we’re able to use the BiznusSoft system and dashboards and reports for all our needs. If I had to give one piece of constructive feedback, I'd say that I haven't found a way to clock in and out after being logged in. If I'm logged in and adjusting my timesheet, or submitting a time off request, I have to manually select "Sign Out" in order to go back to the screen where I'm able to clock in and out. UKG Ready makes it SUPER easy and quick to clock in and out. I find the software to be very user-friendly when adjusting my timesheet or submitting a time-off request. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Few features can be more automated where we can get detailed analysis at one go like the Keka PMS - there are multiple departments, review cycle for each dept for every month needs to made, but the analysis of pending reviews is tiresome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
