While trying to run a Time Clock kiosk on an iPad, it can be difficult to setup based on how Paycom requires a link to authenticate, then the active link changes. Its most impressive advantage is the well-built Germany-oriented payroll and compliance functionality. The platform is pre-calibrated to follow latest German labor regulations, it accurately applies official tax classes, calculates all mandatory social security contributions and various statutory deductions, and generates fully legally compliant local payslips effortlessly. It also facilitates official tax and social authority reporting, which drastically cuts down our monthly payroll workload and minimizes manual calculation faults and compliance risks. Apart from payroll, automated onboarding, attendance tracking and employee self-service modules greatly lighten our repetitive administrative burdens. The platform still falls short in deep German local scenario adaptation. It does not provide preset templates for widely used local collective bargaining agreements, so we have to manually calculate and input industry-specific allowances, shift bonuses and other customized salary supplements, which creates extra workload and potential calculation errors. In addition, setting up advanced configurations such as customized local payroll rules and GDPR-based layered employee data access permissions is quite intricate. What do you like best about Deel HR?

What I value most about Deel is its payment transparency. As a contractor, being able to see exactly how much I’ll receive before a payment is processed—along with a clear breakdown of fees and conversion rates—removes a lot of the uncertainty I’ve run into on other platforms. There’s no guessing and no surprises on payday.

The payroll flow is also fairly straightforward once you get used to it, but I’ll be honest: the platform does have a learning curve, and some sections aren’t immediately intuitive for new users. Still, once I understood the layout, managing my compensation became much easier. The fact that I haven’t needed to contact support at all feels like a good sign, since the platform has handled the process reliably enough that issues simply haven’t come up. What do you dislike about Deel HR?

The biggest pain point I’ve experienced is how the platform handles contract updates and the way those changes affect payment cycles. When my contract was updated, I wasn’t given clear guidance on what steps to take to make sure my payment schedule adjusted correctly, and my payments ended up arriving late. The overall process felt confusing, and it wasn’t obvious what I needed to do on my end versus what Deel or my employer would handle automatically. For something as critical as payroll timing, the platform should offer clearer, step-by-step instructions whenever a contract change is made, or at least notify all parties about how the update will impact upcoming payments. What problems is Deel HR solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using Deel, getting paid in foreign currency by U.S.-based employers was a real barrier for me. Receiving international payments involved multiple intermediary steps, and platforms like Wise or Payoneer added friction and uncertainty to each transaction. Deel solved this by centralizing the entire payment flow—I now receive my salary directly to my preferred digital wallet in a streamlined, predictable way.

The biggest impact is that working remotely for U.S. companies has become genuinely viable for me as a contractor based in Colombia. I no longer have to worry about the logistics of cross-border payments, which means I can focus entirely on delivering quality work. As I stated before, what bothers me the most is that i am unable to label each line in some way. I would be delighted if I were able to put two initials to designate with whom I had spent that hour. I like how quickly I was able to get my claims approved and more importantly, it was a simple process to get my claim submitted. The options for each field were comprehensive. The support to get my login issues was fixed very quickly. Once I got some issues resolved with my company's HR, the integration process with my benefits provider/employer was very simple. What do you like best about Remote?

What I like about Remote is how easy the platform is to access and use. The interface is very user-friendly, which makes navigating through the system smooth even for first-time users. One of the features I appreciate the most is how simple and straightforward it is to submit timesheets. The process is not complicated, and everything is organized clearly, making it convenient to complete tasks efficiently without confusion or unnecessary steps.

Another feature I find very helpful is the option to reuse previously submitted timesheets by setting them as the default. This saves a lot of time and effort, especially when your weekly entries are usually the same. Instead of manually entering the same details every time, you can simply select the default timesheet and the system will automatically populate the entries from the previous week. This makes the workflow much faster and more efficient.

What’s also great is that the platform still allows flexibility even after auto-filling the timesheet. Before submitting, you can easily review and edit the hours or make adjustments whenever needed. This balance of convenience and flexibility makes the overall experience more efficient and stress-free. What do you like best about Compt?

I love the diversity of stipends available , from charitable giving to my cell phone and gym memberships, the reimbursements provide me with something to work towards every other month. What do you dislike about Compt?

What problems is Compt solving and how is that benefiting you?

Compt solves many issues, for example often offices prefer to have a shared gym membership for the entire office, while instead Compt saves the company money in comparison while catering the each users personal needs. What do you like best about Asanify AI?

What I like best about Asanify is its user-friendly interface. Daily I am using Asanify to give my attendance, that is clock in and clock out. After you clock in, it will automatically display when to clock out my attendance. If I click on calendar, I can clearly see list of holidays coming that month, and we can also who are all the employees on leave for the whole month. What do you dislike about Asanify AI?

Some features like Hiring, analytics, Performance and OKR are somewhat clumsy and difficult to understand. Customer support is also not available 24/7. Updating personal information is also creating disturbance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Asanify AI solving and how is that benefiting you?

Asanify solves the problem of managing Salaries of employees, managing attendance, and OKR tracking into a single platform. It simplifies attendance management, improves visibility into leaves and working hours, and provides a structured way to track OKRs and individual goals. This integration reduces manual effort, minimizes errors, and helps align employee performance with organizational objectives.

In our company we use Asanify to mark my daily attendance, to update my profile details, to know my salary details, to download my salary slip, to take leave, to plan my vacation by seeing list of holidays, to regularize my attendance, to see how many hours I worked in a given month, to see performance review and OKR details. What do you like best about Kota?

We discovered Kota after we had already begun renewing our private medical scheme benefits with our previous broker.

Kota not only provided a more affordable quote than our previous industry-leading broker but also enrolled us with Vitality, which was an improvement over our previous scheme with another insurer. As a result, more employees have joined our scheme since we switched to Kota.

The most significant improvement for us has been the customer support since the transition. Kota managed to transition us between insurers within a week and were very hands-on throughout the entire process. They have remained responsive now that we’re up and running, and we actually have a dedicated contact person for any discussions. It's so nice! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kota?

We don't have any specific dislikes, but there are a few enhancements we would love to see:

1. Consolidation of Benefits: It would be fantastic if Kota could increase the range of benefits offered. It would be great if we could offer some additional benefits without having to find a different provider, such as cash plan medical, cycle to work, staff discounts, etc.

2. Global Office Management: We have offices in several countries, including Canada, the US, Malaysia, Australia, Mexico, and the UAE. It would be great if we could manage these international offices through Kota as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kota solving and how is that benefiting you?

We've integrated the Kota platform with our HR system, making enrolment a breeze. Now, we can easily see who is and isn't enrolled in one place.

Monthly invoicing helps manage our cash flow, and we can download member lists and invoices directly from the portal.

We're currently setting up our benefits on the Kota app and are excited to launch this to our staff. This will be our first opportunity to showcase our benefits in a comprehensive way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

BiznusSoft helped us run payroll much easier. Our employees are keeping time by now easily on mobile. What do you like best about Deputy?

I like how simple the interface is for not only the admin / managers but also for the users, the employees. Not only are the employees able to put their time-off requests in Deputy, but they're also able to view their weekly timecards as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deputy?

Given the amount of employees that we have nationwide, it would've been great if the system was able to recognize the different states that the employees were in and that we would be able to assign managers per employees rather than create locations. We have over 20 locations in our system because we have managers that oversee different timezones, one that has every timezone, so he has multiple locations that he has to view. Because the Gusto integration seem to have issues though, we have to manually set-up accounts which is preferred as previously, it would automatically send invitations to personal emails that were in Gusto even when they haven't fully started. The downside also is that employees aren't able to see their time-off request balance and so they often put in requests when they have 0 hours pending for usage. What problems is Deputy solving and how is that benefiting you?

The issue that we had previously was the fact that Gusto wasn't able to provide us with a timekeeping system that supported overnight shift. Deputy had played a huge part in decreasing the amount of time that is spent calculating the hours that each employee who work overnight has. I also really like how the Meal Break Premium is directly connected to the attestation question. I will say that, I wished that it would also track when the lunch was taken to ensure that even if someone answers 'yes' to the attestation question, it's guaranteed that we're remaining compliant with the state laws when applicable (most importantly CA and NY) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
