one issue is that the platform is complex and takes time to learn, new users may find it difficult without proper training , also customization and setup require technical knowledge, especially when aligning sales and marketing workflows, cost i also on the higher side, especially for small teams. sometime performance can be slow when handling large data or heavy customization and managing everything can require dedicated admin support. What do you like best about Pipedrive?

As the CRM Owner in my company, I use Pipedrive very intensively every day and am always impressed by the well-thought-out data logic and the structure of the system. It is fundamentally clear and intuitively designed and structured, making it very user-friendly. Clear sales funnels, straightforward analysis tools, and easy access to the linked elements of a deal are everything most sales employees need. Implementing Pipedrive into an existing team is therefore absolutely no problem.

However, if you delve deeper, wonderful opportunities for automating processes and structuring the data foundation reveal themselves, allowing you to keep a very close eye on and control the output of the sales team.

What do you like best about Close?

Close helps me keep track of patient enquiries and pending replies in one place. I manage diet consultations at a clinic and also get health-related messages online, so it is useful to see who contacted me and what needs to be done next. Earlier, I used to note things in different places and sometimes forgot to reply on time.

I was able to start using Close without much effort. I added new enquiries, wrote short notes about the patient’s concern, and sent messages from the same screen. This saved time because I did not have to switch between different apps. I usually check it once or twice a day to see what is pending.

Sometimes updates or changes made in Close dont reflect immediately, so I have to refresh the page to see the latest activity. Earlier in my daily work, I used to keep enquiry details in my phone notes or try to remember follow-ups in my head. On busy clinic days, a few things would slip through, and I had to double-check messages again and again. With Close, I can quickly see who contacted me, what we discussed earlier, and what I still need to do next, all on one screen. This reduces back-and-forth and saves time during the day. It also helps me keep a simple history of patient communication, so when someone messages again after a few days, I don’t start from zero. the biggest issue is the cost management, since pricing is based on data scanned, if queries are not optimized it can become expensive, also real time updates are not as strong as some traditional databases, so it is not ideal for transactional use cases, sometimes managing permission and access control can be a bit complex for large teams. Speed was the first thing I noticed even complex queries return results. I also appreciate the separation between compute and storage, which really helps when multiple teams are working off the same connection with dbt, AWS S3, and Looker, and it has made our overall workflow simpler. What do you like best about EngageBay All-in-One Suite?

I've used EngageBay for about a year to keep our recruiting pipeline from turning into a mess. The contact management is the best part I can see exactly when a candidate opens an email without digging through folders. The sequence builder is another bug win. I set up automated follow ups for our property manager roles, so I'm not stunk manually emailing dozens of people every Tuesday morning. It's intuitive enough that may picked it up without much fuss. What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

I was an ActiveCampaign user for 8 years, from 2017-2025. It was fantastic - the functionality was very robust - the most robust I've ever seen. To the point where I started relying on email marketing as the main revenue driver for my business.

So why am I giving it a 1-start review?

Because in late 2025, my account was shut down for no reason, and without warning. When I tried to log into my account, I just got an error message. I had to reach out to support to find out what happened.

At first, I thought it was an ActiveCampaign-wide problem. I waited a day, and tried again. No luck. I waited 2 days and tried again. Still no luck. After 3 days, I started to panic, and emailed customer support. It wasn't an ActiveCampaign problem. It was just my account.

When I emailed customer support, they said they're looking into it. When I asked for a deadline, they didn't commit to anything. They usually get back to me quickly, but another couple of days had passed by, I've already lost a lot of money because of this outage, and still no luck.

By this point, I started looking into other email marketing providers. By the time they got back to me, I already created an account at a different email marketing provider.

When they got back to me, they told me that they're taking so long because it's the holiday season. First of all, bad excuse. The number of days off during the holidays are two: Christmas and New Years.

Second of all, a lot of businesses (their customers) make the most sales during the holidays. This is not the time to work less hard on their end.

Another couple of days had passed by (I had already started using the other email marketing software), and they told me that it was a mistake on their end that my account was shut down automatically. They reinstated my account, but by then it was too late.

This was extremely poorly handled. If my account was shut down, I should have immediately received an email, explaining the situation, and something is being done about it. They should have also been a lot less casual about it.

For a business that relies heavily on email marketing, a mistaken shut down should have been top priority.

After everything was resolved, as a gesture, ActiveCampaign refunded me for one month of usage. Nice gesture, but I lost a lot more money than that, and I spent a lot more money than that on migrating everything from ActiveCampaign to the new email marketing software. Too bad that such a useful, robust, functional software treated a long-term customer like this, and messed up royally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Bigin by Zoho CRM?

We recently started using Zoho Bigin CRM for managing enquiries and student interactions at Sankhyiki, and the experience so far has been very smooth.

What we really like about Bigin is its simplicity. Unlike many CRMs that feel complicated and overwhelming, Bigin is extremely easy to set up and start using. The pipeline view makes it very intuitive to track leads from enquiry to conversion, which is very helpful for an education business like ours where we deal with a large number of student queries.

Another great aspect is the integration capabilities with email and other Zoho tools, which makes communication and follow-ups much more organized. The interface is clean, responsive, and easy for the team to adopt without requiring extensive training.

Before using Zoho Bigin, managing student enquiries and follow-ups was becoming difficult as the volume of leads increased. Many conversations were happening across different channels like email, calls, and messages, which made it hard to track where each enquiry stood in the admission process.

Zoho Bigin solves this problem by giving us a structured pipeline to manage all leads in one place. We can easily track every enquiry from the initial student inquiry to final course enrollment, ensuring that no potential student is missed.

The automation and task management features are also very helpful. Follow-ups, reminders, and communication history are all recorded in one system, which saves time and improves team coordination. Instead of manually tracking leads in spreadsheets, we now have complete visibility of our pipeline and can prioritize serious prospects more effectively.

What do you like best about Instantly?

Warmup actually works. Connected two domains, let them run, and deliverability held once campaigns went live. The UI is clean. Sequences, scheduling, account limits are all where you'd expect them without digging around. For a small operation doing targeted outbound, the core product does its job. What do you dislike about Instantly?

Its not much to dislike though, but, Campaign Slow Ramp is on by default and throttled my sends to about a third of what I configured. Took real troubleshooting to find it. The campaign limits and account limits also reset on different clocks, which is not explained anywhere obvious. Logic is fine once you get it, but the onboarding assumes you will just figure it out. What problems is Instantly solving and how is that benefiting you?

I run outbound for a boutique audiobook production company, and this tool instantly handles multi-account sending and warmup without requiring any technical setup. It keeps deliverability steady and sequences well organized, which lets me focus on the actual copy and targeting instead of worrying about the infrastructure. They have customized the report sheet as we prefer. often we request them to change user name and password for the new joining staff. But now they have customized it now. What do you like best about Less Annoying CRM?

I love that it's flexible and intuitive, but it's the pipelines that have made all the difference for me and my team! We use pipelines to track workstreams and because we can add custom fields, it means everyone knows what needs to happen when and by whom. What do you dislike about Less Annoying CRM?

What problems is Less Annoying CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?

It truly is a CRM - we manage all of our relationships inside the tool - clients, vendors, students, networking, sales. Because we can copy our emails to the CRM we solved the problem of knowing who was doing what with clients and others. We also used it to solve the problem of managing client relations. Now we know who is responsible for each client and with a click we know all the key details about that client's relationship with us. We’ve had a great experience with Ohanafy and truly appreciate the level of support and customization it offers. The platform is intuitive, flexible, and provides real-time data that helps us make informed decisions quickly.

Given how well Ohanafy aligns with our business needs, we would like to move away from QuickBooks entirely as our external accounting provider. Integrating accounting functionality directly into Ohanafy would make it a complete solution for us. This would be my recommendation for this solution to fully round out their product offering. Simplified Purchase Orders & Forecasting - One of the biggest benefits is the ability to generate and send purchase orders directly from the forecasting tool. This integration streamlines our product purchasing process and saves valuable time.

Advanced ASN Creation & Pallet Management - The system offers improved flexibility when creating ASNs, allowing us to sort by package style, product category, or warehouse location. Pallets are auto-built based on our setup, but the drag-and-drop functionality makes adjustments quick and intuitive. It’s extremely user-friendly.

Effortless Reporting - Reporting is another area where Ohanafy shines. Unlike platforms that use complex parent-child naming structures, Ohanafy makes it easy to build reports in minutes where we used to spend hours. Live reports with predetermined fields give our sales team instant access to the data they need, right at their fingertips.

One downside is that exporting or retrieving chat/data cannot be done directly by users. We currently need to contact the Qontak team to request the data, which can take quite some time.
