In starting a business I believed that I'd have to buy a new phone, set up a separate line, and that navigating this would've been a headache. OpenPhone has a simple enrollment, intuitive user interface, responsive support staff, and at an extremely affordable rate. An added bonus (that I didn't even think would be an option!) is that their app. allows me to use my existing phone. They came through in the clutch with that one. I should allow the company that uses Front to collect more data about how Front is being used: number of received or sent emails, by whom, under which categories, weekly reports... The screen sharing feature is a huge problem as it is almost never reliable. The screen that is being shown can cut out, lag, or have it's audio jumbled/removed. My students have complained a lot about this and how it is affecting their learning as most of the information is seen through that feature. I have tried resetting, reloading and restarting to no avail. Whereby is a very useful video conferencing tool that can be used by anyone due to its ease of use. Apart from screen sharing, Whereby is perfect in every criteria of a video conferencing application. Not needing to download it, puts your students and yourself in a better standpoint in computer security. A benefit that both my students and myself see as a great one is the recording feature. I am able to record sessions of video conferencing with ease which is something I don't see many platforms having. Students can go back to recordings and check out some of the information that they may have forgotten and/or necessary for the assignment/exam. To sum up, this app is very well designed, and it is, of course, an efficient piece of software designed specifically for audio conferencing and screen sharing. I pretty much have enjoyed my experience with this product. there is not much I have to say that I dislike. I think that there are always ways to improve the speed and quality of the product but most important I can see that the company is always pushing updates to improve the technology. I am working with a number of different companies in different verticals - primarily healthcare and education.

In healthcare, we have been able to use this system to conduct telehealth appointments. In education, we have been able to use the system to facilitate distance learning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

3CX doesn't offer all inclusive support contracts, and support is not included in their subscription based model. Instead you have to pay per incident, and they have a strict rule of only handling one issue per ticket. This can get costly especially during implementation. Don't ask for your ticket to be escalated, or you'll be scolded. We are very well versed on VoIP, and the only issues we've had to contact support about were the result of the way 3CX is designed. For instance, they will not play the standard ringback tone when a call is transferred. Instead they play hold music. Feature request? You must be a gold certified partner to submit a feature request. What about organizations that are large enough to implement and support a communications solution internally? All Polycom phone models are considered legacy by 3CX and as a result limited functionality is available. Their conference bridge requires a call to be scheduled producing a unique conference code. We needed the ability to assign static conference codes to individuals within our company so we can't use the conference feature. Anything more than a basic incoming call flow requires a Windows application which is still considered beta. On the previous system we had, we could use if/then/else logic to route calls directly within the management interface. Closing the office early? The inability to manage my own phone queues, I understand the queues are managed by loops for ease of use. With everything I have tested so far this has been my only complaint, therefore to me it is not a deal breaker. The system works exactly as advertised, and for that I have no complaints. We are solving the issue of replacing an outdated phone system, and the benefits are a more modern, sleek application that works with our business. One of the selling points was the ability to use the app from a cell phone. This is especially important to my technicians who rotate on call after business hours. I have experienced connection issues in the past, but these have resolved as of late. I have the lifesize icon saved on my desktop, it is automatically installed for our company on every laptop, and it likes to open every time you login to your laptop unless you change the settings. Not a hurge deal, but would be better if it didn't automatically do this as it can confuse our new field staff (nurses) into to thinking they have a meeting to attend just because it opened. It would be better if you had to go into settings and ask it to open automatically if you wanted that option rather than the other way around. But that really is a minor thing. It has solved the issue of travel time for our field staff who work in distant counties, save us on mileage, and ensured that our staff can see our patients and still be able to participate in required meetings and trainings. Having one simple code to attend for anyone who has an account, and ability for all participants to dial in to one consistent number based on who is hosting the meeting is WONDERFUL! We are also able to use LIfesize for large groups and it connects very well with our big screens in our conference room , which is a huge plus for required trainings. To be honest I don't have any negative feedback. Dialpad Talk works how it's supposed to, you do need access to the internet but nowadays we all have access so that's not much of a problem. I can have a quick access to all of my contacts in a single application. I have the access to call and be called at any time using this app. The main benefit is the accessibility of it all. Dialpad does not only serve for business use but it also helps you stay communicated with your whole team. This creates a great benefit because of the quick response time you get from the same coworkers who use the same app. One of the other benefits I've noticed is that you get voicemails sent to your email, making it very easy for a user to return the call and get the context needed from the caller.
