Jira is an issue and project tracker for teams building great software. Track bugs and tasks, link issues to related code, agile planning, and monitor activity.

The thing I keep coming back to is the custom workflows. Once you've set them up just right for your team, it kind of clicks — like, this is exactly how we work, and now the tool actually reflects that. It stops feeling like you're bending your process to fit the software and starts feeling like the software finally gets you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lucidchart is an intelligent diagramming application for understanding the people, processes and systems that drive business forward.

I rely on Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite extensively during time-sensitive hackathons and engineering group projects to map out complex application architectures and database schemas. UI/UX & Performance: The intuitive drag-and-drop interface has zero learning curve, which literally saves us hours of setup time when we need to move quickly. Even when our diagrams become incredibly dense—like mapping out intricate machine learning pipelines or large-scale ERDs—the performance remains flawlessly smooth without any browser lag during live, multi-user editing. AI/Intelligence & Integrations: The massive template library gives us a huge head start, but the recent AI/Intelligence features are a fantastic unexpected benefit. Being able to auto-generate initial flowcharts or summarize brainstorming sessions using AI prompts accelerates our early planning phases. Furthermore, its integrations fit perfectly into our development workflow. We can seamlessly embed our live diagrams directly into GitHub readmes or Google Workspace docs, keeping our code and architecture documentation perfectly synced. Support/Onboarding & ROI: Getting new teammates involved is completely frictionless. The onboarding process is quick, and the self-serve support and interactive tooltips mean no one wastes time figuring out how the tool works. Because we can collaborate in real-time to spot system design flaws before we even write a single line of backend code, the ROI in terms of saved development time and reduced debugging is massive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the automations in Asana and how easy they are to implement. When working with multiple team members, automations help streamline task assignments and follow-ups. Simply assigning a task to a user can automatically generate follow-up tasks, set due dates based on that user’s timeline, and keep projects moving efficiently.
Asana is a powerful platform for project management and team collaboration, and the initial setup was straightforward. It integrates seamlessly with my favorite tools, such as Google Drive and Clockify, making it easy for my team to work asynchronously and stay aligned.
The layout is extremely intuitive, creating a fast learning curve while still delivering robust functionality. The platform runs smoothly and reliably, allowing my team to stay productive without interruptions.
The support team was also excellent, making onboarding quick and seamless. Overall, Asana delivers outstanding value for its price, saving our team far more in productivity and work hours than the cost of the subscription. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It offers great support for Markdown files. All files and pages are interconnected, which makes it a strong tool for building a knowledge base.
The UI is user-friendly, and overall it’s quite easy to use. I can’t say much about the pricing since I used a corporate plan, but I do know they offer a free version for individuals.
So overall one of the best tool on the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Miro has replaced our physical whiteboards, where we used to take pictures of them on our phones or document everything in Google Docs. It’s elevated our team meetings by giving us a visual way to capture what we discuss and by serving as a central workspace hub. The many templates are especially helpful for our small nonprofit as we document processes, map client journeys, and run brainstorming sessions. The nonprofit discount makes it viable for us due to the reasonable price. I specifically appreciate how it integrates with our other platforms. My team would say they love the interactive features like GIFs, sticky notes, voting, and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about Smartsheet is how simple it makes it to keep projects organized and everyone on the same page. It’s also super helpful for team collaboration and makes project management feel a lot less overwhelming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Airtable has become our new savior in handling the insanely complicated content priority lists, providing our marketing department with a concise and well-structured overview of the campaigns, timeline, and asset position in a single platform. The linked record feature has been the strongest one and we are able to relate the similar data in different tables and the resultant duplication that led to errors in our reporting is avoided. There is also the capacity to provide filtered views to external stakeholders without providing a full-blown database access, which has also proven to be a feature that helps in collaboration with customers in a client-based scenario. Jotform workflow made it easy for us to implement an external employee timecard system by developing an approval flow process. In this workflow an employee fills out a timecard which then goes to payroll for initial review, and then to the client for final review. All of this is tracked by the workflow automation and applied not only into the system but also into a PDF record. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ravetree is an Agile Work Management platform designed for project-driven teams that need to track projects, capacity, and time.
Also listed in Professional Services Automation, Project and Portfolio Management, Project Management
The project budgeting features in Ravetree are the best I've ever seen. We were in spreadsheets prior to using Ravetree and looked at other tools before moving to Ravetree. They were the only one that had the budgeting features we needed. Specifically, we needed to set budgets for each project phase and then have those roll up to the project. We also needed the ability to invoice for each of these phases—sometimes as a percentage. Ravetree allows for all of this. Very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Also listed in Project Management, Subscription Management

Agency Handy is one of the very few tools I’ve used that genuinely lives up to the “all-in-one” promise. Instead of stitching together 5–10 different tools (CRM, invoicing, proposals, project management, client comms, etc.), everything is finally in one clean, intuitive platform.
The biggest win for me is how connected everything feels:
• Client onboarding flows straight into projects
• Services → proposals → invoices → payments all link together seamlessly
• Tasks and deliverables are automatically created from what clients purchase
• The client portal gives a genuinely professional, branded experience
The service catalog + proposal system alone is a game-changer. It makes selling services feel structured and scalable instead of manual and messy.
On top of that:
• The UI is incredibly clean and easy to navigate
• Setup is fast (we were up and running properly within hours, not weeks)
• The client portal reduces email back-and-forth massively
• Recurring billing + payments just work (huge time saver)
• Team collaboration and task tracking are built-in and actually usable
And honestly — the support and development team deserves serious credit. They’re responsive, helpful, and clearly shipping updates consistently. You can tell this isn’t a stagnant tool — it’s evolving quickly based on real user feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very easy to get started with and intuitive to learn — our team picked it up right away. We can assign tasks, set due dates, and everyone knows what they're working on. We like being able to comment and attach files directly to tasks, and having separate boards for each area keeps everything from getting mixed together. Visually it's nicely designed and easy to see what you need and get to what you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how fast and simple it is. You can open it and start making a flowchart or wireframe in seconds. No setup, no confusion. The interface is clean and doesn’t feel heavy.
It’s really good for process flows. I use it when I need to explain how something works step by step. The diagrams look neat without putting in too much effort. Alignment and connectors are easy, so things don’t look messy.
Also, sharing with others is simple. Just send a link and people can view or edit. For quick collaboration, it works well.
For straightforward diagrams, it does exactly what you need without distractions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
