**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

The product is incredibly versatile. It includes all of the features I was looking for to improve my user onboarding experience (e.g., a resource center, checklists, flows, NPS, high level analytics/insights). It was very easy to set up, and the support team is phenomenal.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

It is a little overwhelming at first, but I think that is the nature of this type of software. I tried several other tools, and this was by far the easiest and most stress-free onboarding experience I've had.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot makes it easy to implement a "self-serve" support model--setting our customers up for success when onboarding while also decreasing the volume of support tickets.

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

We just started using Userpilot in our company and our clients are loving it already. After the process of setting everything up and translating everything into the languages we needed, we gave it a go and clients started using it from day 1! We are using it for Onboarding as well as Account Management tasks in our software company. I am very curious how the impact of user pilot will be after using it for a bit longer!

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

The automatic translation (we tried French and German) is not really accurate yet, but I assume the system can learn over time!

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We want to better support our customers during onboarding and have therefore looked for a "guide" that can lead our customers through the first steps (to prevent frustration). Additionally, we use it for our live customers to create a better point of contact.

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

As a startup it is so important to have a tool that is simple, lightweight, and turnkey. This solution hit the mark. Their customer support made set up easy, the features are always being updated and help us get fast insights on our product direction, and we love the ability to customize our own reports.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

They have a feature that makes popups and notifications. It is a no-code solution that is very easy to use. We like it, but it sometimes fails on certain browsers. This is not a big complaint but it is a feature we would like to see become more robust.

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I find Userpilot's dashboard incredibly user-friendly, providing a straightforward overview of product adoption, active user metrics, and key performance indicators. The ease of accessing our NPS survey results enhances our ability to gauge customer satisfaction efficiently and effectively.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I find exporting the detailed responses from our users after they submit their NPS scores to be inefficient. It seems like either a bug or a process that isn't streamlined, which makes it challenging to access the detailed response file.

I use Userpilot to quickly get an overview of product adoption, active users, and NPS responses, improving product performance tracking.

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Our company wanted to enhance our in-app communication ability as we work with a set of users who we felt are less likely to open and read email updates. Our goal was to drive awareness and adoption of new features, as well as communicate key updates like outages and special webinars. 

The implementation and integration process was very simple and straightforward, as we only needed to add a small snippet to our existing codebase. Userpilot has a simple, WYSIWYG process for creating content, which made it very easy for our teams to get up and running. At the same time, there are a lot of configuration options that enable you to dial-in behaviors to your exact specifications. As a result, we were able to decentralize our content creation process so individual teams could create and own their communications. 

So far we've used banners, spotlights, flows, surveys, and the events functionality, and we have plans to roll out the resource center soon. We create new communications each week. Everything has worked as expected and we've seen our customers engage with these comms as we'd hoped. We've done a mix of simple one-step comms, as well as more comprehensive walkthroughs, and both have been successful. 

The data analytics capabilities have been great. It is easy for each team to understand how their comms are performing. I appreciate that the key engagement information is surfaced right up front, and additional insights can be obtained with minimal effort. 

Throughout our entire engagement, I've received excellent support from my contacts at UserPilot. Danny Kneurr in particular has been incredibly responsive, collaborative, and professional. He quickly responds to any questions I have and often comes up with creative solutions to our unique situation.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I'd love a way to better manage all open communication campaigns. There isn't a holistic view to see everything that is currently open, which makes it a bit difficult to ensure we're not overwhelming our customers with communications.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot has helped us dramatically improve our in-app communication capabilities. As a result, we've seen increased awareness and engagement with our new features. We've been able to quickly create targeted messages for specific users (ex: only show this outage message to users who attempt to perform this specific action), and we've seen greater participation in webinars and other customer events. 

Additionally, Userpilot has helped expedite our product analytics capabilities. Rather than wait for an engineer to implement Amplitude instrumentation, anyone can immediately create an event using the Userpilot UI and begin tracking engagement with a specific function. 

Finally, Userpilot has upgraded our in-app survey capabilities. The survey creation process is incredibly straightforward, and targeting surveys to specific cohorts is simple and easy. We've been able to collect much more feedback and do it more quickly with Userpilot.

I really like their service and how available the team is—whether it’s a simple question or something more advanced, they go above and beyond to make sure I’m satisfied. It’s easy to create campaigns and flows to alert customers, segmenting is straightforward, and the UI is intuitive.

I do wish some of the more advanced features didn’t require a certain level of technical aptitude.

Userpilot makes it easy to communicate with customers directly in our product. I can quickly create campaigns, flows, and alerts without waiting on developer resources, which saves time and speeds up launches. The targeting and segmentation help us reach the right customers at the right time, improving engagement and making our messages more effective.

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Userpilot allows us to track canvas activites by being able to set elements using the Visual Labeling. It helps a lot, saves time that we don't need developers to set them.
Also, the support is great at Userpilot, we have always got a quick and thorough answer for our questions.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

It's hard to define hypothesis behind segments, we have to export data to analyse it in KNIME. Userpilot has a lot of built-in tables and analysis, but they can not be customized or manipulated.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We would like to understand user workflows and prove or disprove hypothesis about users' behaviour. Session replay helps us to understand patterns and how users use our tool

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I like that it has such a low learning curve and came practically ready to go out of the box. It checked the box of so many features that we were able to consolidate and cancel 2 other software subscriptions by transitioning over to Userpilot.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

While this product does a little bit of everything, it doesn't go as deep into each of the feature sets as I would like. For example, the Session capture isn't nearly as useful outside of being able to look over the shoulder of the user. There really isn't a troubleshooting capability that we would need to be able to dig into bugs like I am used to having with other softwares.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to provide onboarding workflows for users as well as announcements and walkthroughs for new product features. This is crucial when working with a lean team. We are also utilizing the reporting metrics for adoption and to identify areas where users might be running into issues in the product. I also leverage the session replay to see how customers are engaging with the product, features, monitor engagement, troubleshoot issues and gather feedback for product improvement.

I’ve seen Userpilot evolve significantly over the years—they’re consistently innovative and closely attuned to customer needs. I’ve championed and successfully implemented the platform in two large enterprise organizations. Each time, it delivered immediate value by allowing us to onboard and engage users without relying on engineering resources. The ability to learn quickly from user behavior and iterate in real-time is a major asset. It's a true game-changer for product-led growth teams.

The analytics capabilities have improved a lot and are well-suited for medium-sized businesses. However, for larger enterprises with more complex and granular data needs, the built-in analytics can sometimes feel a bit limited. That said, with webhooks and robust data integrations, you can extend the functionality and build a more advanced analytics setup to suit your needs.

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I love the function for in-app banners and flows. They're very user friendly and intuitive. The NPS surveys are also very smooth and easy to sync with other tools.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Some of the reports on dashboard are a bit difficult to update around time periods. However, other than that, it is easy to customize dashboard once it's all set up.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking product usage, so we can get a better read of how our own customers are working. Lots of great ways to communicate new changes on a tool as well.

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

My experience with user was greatly positive and it has significantly improved onboarding process and guidance for users through the product that we have.I can only highlight the variety of UI elements which help to create interactive workflows, and the function of previewing product tours in real live.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

The only thing I can mention is that some advanced features (like event-based triggers) required a bit of learning and experimentation, so  detailed tutorials/interactive guides would be helpful for new users like me.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot solves key challenges in user onboarding, feature adoption and in-app guidance by providing a no-code platform for creating interactive product tours. It eliminates the need for developer support, allowing to quickly build and customize onboarding flows tailored to different user segments. The event-based targeting and analytics help track engagement and optimize tours for better user activation. With tooltips, modals, and banners it is possible to highlight new features, improve adoption and retention.

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Really enjoying how easy it is to set-up event listeners without the need of a technical background. 

Weekly notifications of activity on our product is useful, and has a range of useful features to collate that information.

We're integrating it well with our other products to get a wider view of user.

UPDATE : Since committing proper time to learning what it is that we want to track, and how we're looking to leverage it, UserPilot has become a dream to use. The ease of implementation for somebody who has a more technical background is a godsend, as manually writing in hooks would've been tedious given the size of our platform. 

I'm using it almost daily at this point to glean insights into how we can best focus on improving flow in our platform.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Sometimes the event listeners aren't highly accurate, and can be triggered by other events. I suppose that's a downside of an overlay as opposed to something that edits the base code of the webpage.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Good insight into User activity on the platform helps us know what areas need improvement, and what areas are used frequently by partners. 

Can also look at Survey information, and surface it directly in our app which is much better.

We're getting much better insight into how the platform is used. This means we know what to focus on for specific customers and use-cases while also leveraging much more efficient CTAs.

When I needed help I got it quickly from a real human in the US. My implementation specialist was consistent and it helped they took the time to understand what we needed.

Lots of buttons and options to pick from for configuration. Get the basics down then you can learn the more complex items.

Userpilot is super easy to use. The raw events is a game changer, since we are able to go "back in time" and find events that we did not know we needed to track. The insights are great, and we can quickly create some great dashboards.

It can be a bit tricky to segment our users, since we work across different sites.

The UI is awesome so easy to use and there are lot of customisation available to create as per our needs and requirements. The templates , menu to switch between the staging and production is amazing. High recommend user pilot.

Until now loved it every bit of it , nothing have seen so far.

The ease with which I can take control of event tagging without involvement of tech team. There are amazing features for in app product tours and product analytics. The support team is very prompt and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Little expensive but as of now facing no issues.

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

What I like best about Userpilot is the speed at which you can deploy changes and experiences directly into the product without relying on developers. It allows product teams to move quickly, experiment, and iterate, without needing engineering resources, which is a huge time-saver and accelerates impact.

What I dislike about Userpilot is the limited customization options. While it's great for rapid deployment, there are times when the flexibility to fully tailor the design or behavior of experiences falls short, especially for more complex or brand-specific use cases.

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

As a Product Manager, Userpilot has significantly enhanced my autonomy in configuring surveys, NPS measurements, user flows, and banners without relying on development resources. Userpilot intuitive interface and no-code builder facilitate quick setup and deployment of in-app experiences, allowing for rapid iteration and optimization. Additionally, the seamless integration with our development environment has streamlined our processes, enabling efficient implementation of user engagement tools.
Another plus is the responsive support team, which provides quick answers via chat whenever assistance is needed, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth operations. Additionally, the support and availability of Sarah, our CSM, has been extremely helpful in guiding us to create the flows we needed in the best possible way.

Occasional bugs in the survey module have been observed, and the inability to preview the resource center based on specific settings poses challenges in ensuring optimal user experiences. 
Furthermore, when modifying published content, the "update changes" feature lacks detailed information on what alterations are being made, limiting our control over content updates.

What I love most about Userpilot is its no-code builder that lets our team create engaging onboarding flows and in-app messages without bothering our developers.  The segmentation tools allow us to target specific user groups with pinpoint accuracy.

We are using it more and more often now that our data is connected and passed for better targetting and triggering the flows. The implementation and integration required some technical work but was relatively simple. The Support team was always there to help and troubleshoot when necessary.

It’s been really useful for rolling out new feature announcements and driving adoption without relying on engineering. The no-code builder makes it easy to create in-app messages, and the segmentation tools help target the right users at the right time. Also, the analytics give a good sense of what’s working so we can optimize engagement.

Customization is a bit limited unless you’re okay with custom CSS. Would love more flexibility in branding to keep everything consistent. **What do you like best about Userpilot?**

The no-code aspect of userpilot makes it incredibly easy to set-up tracking and analyzing customer behavior. Sometimes we set them up during a meeting and by the end of that meeting we catch up on the data already. That way we'll quickly know if we are on the right path straight away. 

The very few times we have been in need of help from their customer support, they have reacted quickly either calling in technical assistance if needed or followed up afterwards to see if everything have worked out. 

We use Userpilot in different departments all benefiting, and it simplifies the work that multiple department are on the same track systemwise.

Lastly, their webinars and "training" of us users are well done and very helpfull.

I would like more variations in the design of our pop-ups, banners etc. 
It is sometimes a little work to make it fit within our company design DNA - so some more possibilities there would be appreciated.

I love that it comes with built-in templates, so you don’t have to start from scratch. Also it is very easy to integrate with the product. The analytics are also really helpful for understanding user behavior and making improvements. The customer support team is available on chat and quite responsive. Overall, it’s a great tool that saves time and delivers great value!

UserPilot takes complicated concepts and makes them easy and intuitive to implement for non-technical folk. Great technical support - always responsive and friendly. We've been relying on the team to help us implement features and build solutions on top of our web app to bring additional functionality and experiences for our users. UP has been very patient in trying to understand our product and what we're trying to introduce and helps us tailor the best possible user experience. We rely heavily on UP to provide our users with resources, documents, and tutorials.

It's not a dislike, but implementing a few certain functions and roles still requires dev involvement, which can be challenging if you don't have the technical skills or have devs easily available to assist you. It depends on your service/website so this might not apply to everyone.

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

So far our experience with Userpilot has been amazing. We came over from one of their competitors and the difference has been night and day. Starting with the implementation, since they connect with Segment, it was a matter of 15 minutes before we had integrated everything.

I love their UI, it makes everything so easy to use and you quickly understand what you can do, but then you keep finding more and more that's possible. The ability to filter charts by specific metadata from events is also super useful (which was not something offered by our previous supplier).

On top of that, they also have auto-tracking so I was able to start on the analytics journey without needing developer time. They do a really great job of balancing simplicity (as in how easy it is to set up and use) with depth.

Their Chrome extension lets me set up onboarding flows and customizations quickly, while still providing useful insights on what our users are interacting with. 

All of this with an accessible price point and an excellent support team. Specifically, Owen and Lauren have been instrumental in our ability to get the most out of their platform.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

So far nothing, we also wanted mobile app support but they just released it on Beta and it seems to work very well.

They're making it so much easier to understand how our users behave and what they want, so we can better prioritize product improvements and new features. It lets us answer the question of are we building what our users need.

I love utilizing their resource center for our tool platform! It's an easy way to provide that 'AI' feel without actually any AI code. We have 2 audiences of subscribers on the platform, and with Userpilot's integration and role pass, it was very easy to establish two different resource centers without having to do extra work! Our subscribers use this feature all the time and frequently let us know how much they appreciate the information we provide. It's greatly increase our subscriber satisfaction so our client success team didn't need to focus on the simple question. This has become another customer support tool.

We seriously love user pilot. It has helped connecting with our users, and made it so easy to get messages straight to them. Email can be a huge barrier to communication because people can be slow or hesitant to open them, so UP allows us to reach them every time. Our account manager Danny Knuerr is also incredible. He is brilliant and SO helpful whenever we need anything. I would recommend this to anyone.
