The support team is great and very responsive, making it easy to work with. Overall, it's easy to use and packed with a lot of features. I appreciate how the resource center allows us to segment who sees what by audience, which is vital for our platform.

  ### 2. Empowers In-App Onboarding with Speed and Insight

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amit y.

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I love how Userpilot gives me a lot of control without adding complexity. It's fantastic for quickly building contextual onboarding experiences and targeting the right users at the right moment without having to wait on engineering. The platform helps me move faster in reducing user friction and making data-backed decisions about user experiences. I really appreciate that everything is focused on helping users reach value faster, with analytics that clearly show what's working. It saves time, reduces guesswork, and lets me improve the product experience based on real user behavior.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

One area where Userpilot could improve is flexibility around advanced customization and reporting. While it covers most core onboarding needs well, certain deeper UI customizations and more granular analytics sometimes feel limited without workarounds. As the product scales and use cases become more complex, I occasionally wish for more native options to fine-tune experiences or slice data in greater detail. It’s not a blocker, but improving these areas would make the platform even stronger for teams that want deeper control and insight.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot to design in-app onboarding, guide users through features, and measure engagement. It gives me speed and control to iterate on user experiences, reducing friction, and making data-backed decisions. I can build contextual onboarding, target users precisely, and save time without relying on engineering.

  ### 3. Dynamic unique

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Millicent W.

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I really like how Userpilot helps with product adoption and streamlines the user onboarding experience for complex web-based applications. The action-based interactive walkthroughs are driven by user actions, which is a big plus as it prioritizes learning by doing. I also appreciate the input, processing, and feedback mechanisms offered by the platform. The Resource Center is a fantastic central hub for self-service, allowing users to access help articles easily. Overall, I would definitely give Userpilot a 10 out of 10 and recommend it to friends or colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

The charging model where charges are based on all monthly active users on the platform can lead to high costs, especially for those who interact with Userpilot flow. The initial setup of Userpilot wasn't easy at all and presented many challenges before it took off.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot improves product adoption and streamlines user onboarding for complex web apps. It addresses ineffective onboarding and reduces high development dependency with action-based interactive walkthroughs. The Resource Center aids self-service by enabling access to help articles.

  ### 4. Intuitive Onboarding, Advanced Segmentation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucas V. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I really like the ease of creating interactive flows without the need to program. The visual editor is very intuitive and allows me to design personalized experiences quickly. I value the advanced segmentation that Userpilot offers, as it allows me to display specific content based on user behavior. I also appreciate how I can build tooltips, modals, and hotspots just by dragging and dropping elements, greatly speeding up the process. The ability to create different flows for new and experienced users, or according to industry or company size, makes each experience relevant and non-intrusive.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

The price can be high for small startups or teams with a limited budget. I would also like the Page_Down design customization options to be more advanced, as sometimes the default styles do not perfectly fit our brand. Additionally, the learning curve for advanced features like custom events can be steep.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Userpilot to reduce onboarding time, improve the activation rate of key features, and decrease support inquiries through interactive tutorials.

  ### 5. Powerful User Onboarding with Seamless Experiences

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** mitchell r.

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I love how Userpilot allows us to create personalized, code-free in-app experiences that guide users seamlessly. Its intuitive interface makes designing onboarding flows, tooltips, and feature announcements quick and easy. The analytics are insightful, helping us understand user behavior and optimize engagement. Userpilot's personalized onboarding tailors the experience based on user behavior, ensuring new users quickly understand key features. Contextual tooltips guide users exactly when needed, reducing confusion and support queries. Feature announcements highlight updates or underused functionality, boosting adoption. The initial setup was straightforward and user-friendly, with guided tutorials making it easy to create onboarding flows without coding.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Userpilot is powerful, its reporting and analytics could be more detailed and customizable. Some advanced features have a slight learning curve, which can slow down initial adoption for new team members. Additionally, creating highly complex onboarding flows can feel a bit restrictive compared to fully custom-coded solutions. Improving flexibility and providing more granular analytics would make the platform even more effective.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot enhances product onboarding and engagement without heavy coding. It creates personalized in-app experiences, reducing confusion for new users and support queries, boosting feature adoption, and tracking user behavior. It simplifies improving user experiences and makes onboarding more intuitive and effective.

  ### 6. Ease of running various formats of contact with users, without development

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Augusto S. | Product Designer - Pleno, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

The ease of being able to run various formats of contact with users without development

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

There may be some bugs regarding the number of responses to a form, participants in an onboarding, etc.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Various product improvements, we had a high demand for building direct contact with the user but it was stalled by the large development backlog.

  ### 7. Effortless In-App Guidance with Precise Targeting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** M M.

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I love that Userpilot allows me to create tooltips, banners, checklists, and modals without needing engineering help, which empowers my team to launch in-app guidance quickly. I really appreciate the precise targeting feature, as it lets me tailor messages and guidance based on user actions, attributes, and lifecycle stage, ensuring users receive relevant and timely interactions, not generic pop-ups. The installation was straightforward and quick, enabling us to start building in-app experiences immediately. Additionally, Userpilot offers much better control over behavior-based and lifecycle targeting than our previous solutions, which has significantly improved the relevance of our tours and modals.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I find the limited design customization without CSS a bit restrictive. While the UI is clean, deep customization like exact positioning, advanced styling, and animations require using custom CSS. I think more native styling controls in the editor would help teams match their brand without extra effort.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot lets me create in-app onboarding like tours, tooltips, and modals without code, empowering fast launches. It allows precise targeting based on user behavior, ensuring guidance is relevant and not generic.

  ### 8. Intuitive UI, Feature-Rich, and Very Responsive Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ginestra F. | Lead UX Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Intuitive user interface, comprehensive set of features. Very responsive support. It's fairly easy to add custom tracking.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I am not a big fun of how to set up funnels. It's still a product in development, although fairly mature.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Among other things, Userpilot is helping me validate assumptions on user flows, monitor improvements (and failures) in connection with product iterations. It also allows to collect direct feedback from users with surveys and NPS.

  ### 9. Effortless Onboarding with Robust Customization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam .

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I love how Userpilot makes it easy to create in-app experiences without coding. The flexibility to target specific user segments really stands out because it allows us to quickly test and refine onboarding flows. The product tours and interactive tooltips are my favorite features since they help users learn by doing. The segmentation feature is very handy for delivering personalized experiences. The analytics are great for understanding what’s working and what isn’t, which gives us strong control over the user journey. In-app checklists help drive feature adoption step by step, and event tracking is vital for understanding user behavior. Userpilot also helps reduce confusion by guiding users step by step inside the product, and it reduces our dependency on engineering for small in-app changes.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

One area that could be improved is the reporting, which sometimes feels limited for deeper analysis. The UI can feel a bit crowded when managing multiple flows. Advanced customizations may require more trial and error than expected. Occasionally, there’s a slight delay when publishing changes.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot to guide users inside our product intuitively, reducing the need for manual support. It helps us create onboarding flows, highlight features, track adoption, and minimize engineering efforts for small changes.

  ### 10. Powerful No-Code Onboarding with Smart Targeting and Helpful Analytics

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

serpilot makes it easy to design and deliver in-app experiences without relying on developers, which allows me to quickly create onboarding flows and highlight specific features. The no-code flow builder, contextual tooltips, and product tours are intuitive and flexible, making it simple to customize experiences as product needs evolve.

I particularly value the targeting and segmentation capabilities, which let us tailor experiences for different user groups and make onboarding feel more personalized. The analytics are also helpful, providing clear insights into how users interact with the interface and which flows are most effective.

Setup was straightforward, and we were able to launch our first onboarding experience quickly with minimal developer involvement. The customer support team is also excellent—they are responsive and always available to help with questions or clarifications. Overall, I find Userpilot both powerful and user-friendly and would rate it a 10 out of 10. I would confidently recommend this tool over others available in the market today.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

While Userpilot is generally easy to use and powerful, there are times when more advanced customization options would be helpful, particularly for fine-tuning the design and behavior of complex flows. Some analytics and reporting views can also feel limited when trying to answer more detailed questions about user behavior, which occasionally requires additional manual analysis. That said, these are relatively minor compared to the overall value the tool provides.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot helps solve the problem of communicating important product information to end users at the right time and in the right context—things that would otherwise be missed in traditional documentation or release notes. It enables us to guide users directly within the product, ensuring they understand new features, workflows, and changes without leaving the application.

For me, this means I can proactively address user confusion, reduce reliance on external documentation, and improve feature adoption. It also allows me to quickly create targeted, contextual guidance without developer involvement, ensuring timely communication and a more intuitive user experience. Overall, Userpilot helps bridge the gap between product functionality and user understanding, making onboarding and ongoing engagement far more effective.

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Userpilot has a really intuitive way of creating onboarding tours. Also collecting user feedback through the NPS function is easy to customise and gather. User activity data that can be collected is an invaluable function.

Support is really professional and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Nothing at this point. Support is really doing a good job if any problems arise.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot plays a major role in onboarding support for the SaaS company I am working with.

  ### 12. Intuitive Onboarding with Minor Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kisha T.

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I liked the simplicity of Userpilot the most. The dashboard felt clean and the onboarding features were easy to follow. I appreciated how structured the platform feels, with onboarding elements that are logically placed. This makes it easier to understand how user guidance can be implemented inside a product without overwhelming the user. During my evaluation, Userpilot helped demonstrate how onboarding issues can be handled better, making it easier to guide users inside the product so they don’t feel lost when using features for the first time. The initial setup felt simple enough to get started, with the basic setup being easy to follow.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

During evaluation, I felt that pricing might be a concern for small teams or learners. Some advanced features also seem to have a learning curve, which could take extra time to explore properly.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot helps tackle onboarding issues by guiding users inside the product and preventing them from feeling lost with new features. It simplifies user guidance implementation with easy-to-follow onboarding features.

  ### 13. Empowers Onboarding with Customization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhishek S. | Student

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I use Userpilot primarily for educational and onboarding emails. It helps me guide users through features step by step, share helpful tips at the right time, and improve engagement with learning-focused email flows. What I like most about Userpilot is how easy it is to create personalized, behavior-based onboarding and educational experiences without needing technical help. The ability to trigger emails and in-app guidance based on user actions makes the learning journey feel timely and relevant. Userpilot's integration with product analytics and CRM systems helps me align user behavior data with educational email campaigns. The initial setup was fairly smooth and straightforward, with basic onboarding flows and educational emails being easy to configure.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Some advanced customization options can feel limited when trying to fine-tune complex email designs or highly specific user segments. There's also a bit of a learning curve at the beginning, as the platform offers many features that can take time to fully understand.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot to guide users through features and improve engagement with educational email flows. It solves the problem of users not fully understanding the product by making onboards more personalized and behavior-based, without needing technical help.

  ### 14. No-Code Simplicity with Powerful Insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pedro J. | Customer Service Staff

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I really appreciate the no-code visual editor in Userpilot; it's a complete game changer as it allows our marketing team to build flows directly on top of the UI without needing any custom code. This saves a lot of development time and speeds up experimentation. The deep, event-based segmentation is also incredibly powerful, letting us target users with precision and serve highly relevant content. I find the variety of UI patterns, such as tooltips, checklists, and slide-outs, very helpful, allowing us to tailor the experience exactly as needed. The real-time analytics directly linked to each in-app experience are fantastic, making it easy to diagnose and optimize user engagement. Lastly, the responsive support team and thorough documentation add a lot of value, making troubleshooting and getting the most out of Userpilot straightforward for us.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I find that large flows in Userpilot can make the editor laggy, causing a visible slowdown. The limited customization options with HTML/CSS/JS restrict full control over the look and feel. The mobile experience feels more like a minimized desktop app rather than a native mobile experience. There are no simple offboarding hooks to trigger flows when users deactivate or pause trials. Also, the test environment's preview mode doesn't fully replicate live behavior, especially through production edge cases.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot speeds up user onboarding without engineering work, reduces churn by boosting feature adoption, collects user feedback instantly in-app, and eliminates the need for custom code. It enables targeted messaging to user segments and provides real-time analytics for quick friction point detection.

  ### 15. A Must-Have for Driving Product Adoption

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mudasir h. | Digital Operations Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I like how quickly we can create in-app flows, tooltips, and checklists to guide new users without depending on engineering.

The personalization options are excellent — we can target different user segments with customized onboarding and product tours
The analytics help us understand how users interact with onboarding flows and where they drop off.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

The learning curve at the beginning can be a bit steep, but once you get used to it, the platform is very smooth.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We user user pilot to onboard exhibitors and attendees, it gives them step by step guidance on how to set up their profiles, how to network and helps in increase engagement. We also us it to drive app adoption as lots of users tend to use mobile browsers, so you can just guide them to stores to download the app and monitor numbers

  ### 16. Effortless Onboarding with Powerful No-Code Tools

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saif Ur R. | AI Data Trainer, Computer & Network Security, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I really like how easy it is to build and customize in-app experiences with Userpilot without needing developer involvement. The no-code flow builder, contextual tooltips, and product tours make it simple to onboard users and highlight new features. I appreciate the segmentation and targeting options, which make the experience feel personalized. I also value that I can quickly create targeted in-app guidance without relying on developers, saving time and effort. The initial setup was straightforward and quick, enabling us to launch our first app experience without much developer effort. Finally, I find Userpilot powerful and user-friendly, rating it a 9 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Some advanced customization and analytics can feel a bit limited compared to more technical tools, and there is a learning curve when setting up complex flows. Improving reporting flexibility and offering more ready-made templates would make the experience better. The learning curves mainly come from setting up more complex flows, advanced segmentation, and analytics, which could benefit from clearer in-app guidance or walkthroughs. More customizable reports, deeper analytics, and additional pre-built-in templates for common use cases can reduce the time for setting up.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot for creating in-app onboarding flows and product tours, making it easy to guide users without heavy engineering support. It solves onboarding challenges, speeds up feature adoption, and lets me build personalized user experiences quickly with no-code tools, contextual tooltips, and segmentation.

  ### 17. Easy to Use After a Little Exploration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Iulian B. | Director of CX Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Not that easy to understand everything from the start. But once you play around with it, it gets easier.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

It has some logical features missing. For example, you can not add two CTA buttons to a survey. You have to create a flow instead.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps with user onboarding, sending offers, surveys, and tracking user engagement.

  ### 18. Transforms Onboarding with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mario M.

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I use Userpilot for in-app announcements, new product walkthroughs, and onboarding. Their onboarding and training teams are elite, super helpful, and very detail-oriented. The application itself is very simple to use and straightforward, plus the insights are amazing. The cost of Userpilot compared to salary has been a game changer, allowing us to allocate employable hours to higher-value departments and opportunities. I also appreciate the Salesforce integration, which allows us to sync any Account or Contact field to segment our user data. They're soon coming out with the ability to sync with custom objects in Salesforce, which will be great. The implementation and professional services teams made the setup very simple, despite the complexity that can be inherent in a product like Userpilot.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

There are some very specific triggers to deploy certain announcements that are certainly not a deal breaker, but were short term setbacks. There are many opportunities for work arounds and plus they are very open to feedback for future releases.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot eliminated over 50% of our onboarding hours and reduced scheduling conflicts. Onboarding time reduced by nearly 40%. We can allocate staff hours to higher value opportunities due to better cost efficiency. The app is user-friendly with insightful analytics.

  ### 19. Empowers Teams with Flexibility, But Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

The primary value of Userpilot is the reduction in developer dependency. It allows our team to deploy user assistance and in-app surveys without needing to commit engineering resources. The ability to toggle flows on and off instantly provides a level of control that would otherwise require a full deployment cycle.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

The design of the flow builder is not user-friendly and feels counter-intuitive. Both myself and our designer find the process of building and navigating steps to be clunky; linking elements together is far more difficult than it should be. The interface lacks a logical flow, making it a frustrating experience to map out complex user journeys.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The primary problem Userpilot solves for us is developer dependency. Previously, any attempt to add user assistance or launch a survey required a developer's time and a formal sprint cycle. By moving these tasks into a no-code platform, our product and design teams can now deploy guides and walkthroughs autonomously.

We are also seeing a significant benefit from the survey functionality. It allows us to trigger contextual feedback loops (like NPS or feature-specific questions) in real-time. The ability to review this feedback immediately and toggle flows on or off based on user responses gives us an agility we didn't have before.

While the internal process of building these flows is often frustrating and the UI is clunky, the outcome—having live user assistance and a steady stream of survey data without taxing our engineering team—is the main benefit we get from the system

  ### 20. User-Friendly with Powerful Modals, Needs More Control

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I like Userpilot's ease of use which makes working with it straightforward. I also enjoy a lot of the interaction tools like modals and pop-ups, although I wish there was a bit more control over them sometimes. The initial setup for Userpilot was pretty straightforward, as the developers simply followed the documentation.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I do wish we had the ability to control the modal a little more. Some require you to have a button but you cannot remove it and it must be kept.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot to track user activations and activity, helping identify shortcomings in our Diesel Laptops SaaS to improve them from the data.

  ### 21. Easy to Use Once You’ve Explored the Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark E. | Customer Support, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

Ease of use after you've explored the platform.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Sometimes I wish it was a little more intuitive.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot is tracking events so that we can use for reporting or forecasting. Userpilot is also used to onboarding of new members. It has been very helpful in providing out members with information at their fingertips.

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I like Userpilot because it lets us handle in-app onboarding without any need for development. I really appreciate being able to build walkthroughs and tooltips without writing code, making it much simpler. What I love the most is the visual editor, allowing me to create guides directly on top of my app's UI, which is extremely helpful. The 24/7 help center is also a big plus since it resolves any problems that come up.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

When I was starting and creating toolkits, I didn't get any live support. It would be best if live support was added or enhanced for newbies. Also, the initial setup would be easier if there was a live preview.

I use Userpilot to handle in-app onboarding without development. It lets us build walkthroughs and tooltips, solving developer issues by allowing guide creation without code.

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

What I appreciate most about Userpilot is how effortlessly I can create in-app experiences—such as banners, modals, tooltips, slideouts, and checklists—without needing to write any code. The visual editor is straightforward and easy to use, the targeting options are highly accurate, and the analytics provide a wealth of detailed insights. Userpilot brings together engagement, UX, and product analytics in a seamless way, offering us all the tools necessary to understand and support our users in real time. The data dashboards, including funnels, paths, retention, and feature usage, offer complete visibility into our product’s performance.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

There’s a slight learning curve when exploring all the triggers, segments, and conditions for the first time. Occasionally, previewing complex flows can show minor differences compared to how they appear in production — nothing major, but worth noting.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot has helped us bridge the gap between product usage data and user experience. Before using it, we struggled to understand how customers interacted with our platform and where they were dropping off. Now, with Userpilot, we can track behavior, trigger personalized in-app messages, and guide users step-by-step through key features.

It has drastically improved feature adoption, reduced support tickets, and increased user retention.
The ability to combine analytics, onboarding, and feedback in one place saves us countless hours and gives us a clear understanding of what drives engagement.

  ### 25. Intuitive, Easy to Implement, and Packed with Essential Data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick T. | Chief Product Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Its intuitive to use, the chrome extension works perfectly, implementation is easy, customer support is kind and open, it gives loads of important and neccesary data to me as a chief product officer

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

If i have to say something, the only thing i can think of is, that it can be overwhelming to be let loose in userpilot without someone to guide you. But thankfully the userpilot team is always ready to help.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to track my users, and better understand them, so I can deliver an even better product experience.

  ### 26. Insightful Analytics That Elevate Product UX

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonika S. | Program Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

The built-in analytics and usage tracking help me understand how users engage, which features are adopted, and where they drop off — a big plus for improving product UX.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Costs can scale up — as monthly active users or event volume grows, pricing may get steep. That makes Userpilot more suitable for established products rather than very early-stage startups on tight budgets.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot works really well when I want to:

Onboard users quickly and effectively without heavy developer involvement.

Segment users and deliver personalized onboarding or feature-promotion flows.

Track how users use your product, identify friction points, and iterate based on data.

Collect feedback via surveys or NPS inside the app.

Run experiments (A/B testing) to optimize onboarding or engagement flows.

  ### 27. User-Friendly Platform with Insightful Analytics

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kwally N. | Customer Lifecycle Marketer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Userpilot is incredibly user-friendly. I primarily use it to create one-step flows that help promote new templates or highlight specific areas on our platform. I also like the ability to create banners to share important updates, like shipping cut-off dates.

As we only started using Userpilot a few weeks ago, I've reached out to Customer Support twice. They were super friendly and resolved my issues very quickly! Additionally, Samantha from the Implementation team has hosted weekly calls which have been especially valuable for setting up the platform and learning how to perform tasks such as tagging events.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Firstly, the auto-translation feature doesn't work very well. It doesn't remove the original English text, struggles with bold formatting, and frequently introduces random punctuation into the translated content.

Secondly, when you schedule a flow it can only be on the hour. For example, if it is 10:05am, I have to wait until 11am for it to go live. While it is possible to schedule a flow immediately if I don't specify an end date, I always need to set end dates because I manage many pop-ups that end at different times and I don't have the capacity to go through and end them all when it is time.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a way to calculate the ROI of our communications by tracking the conversion rate for each pop-up. On our previous product experience platform, calculating the CTR was both challenging and time-consuming, which led us to switch to Userpilot. With Userpilot, it's much easier to see goal completions and dismissal rates for each pop-up, which has saved me a significant amount of time. Another feature I appreciate is the ability to exclude specific users from our analytics. This has been particularly helpful since we have many internal accounts that we don't want included in our conversion data. Our old platform didn't allow us to exclude these users, which was another key reason for our move to Userpilot.

  ### 28. A Flexible, No-Code Platform for Driving Product Adoption and Better Onboarding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Userpilot makes it easy to design in-app experiences that actually feel helpful rather than intrusive. The no-code builder allows non-technical teams to quickly create onboarding flows, tooltips, and feature announcements without relying on engineering. I especially like how flexible the targeting and segmentation are—it’s straightforward to show the right message to the right user at the right time. The analytics and event tracking also make it easy to understand user behavior and iterate on experiences based on real data.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

While Userpilot is very powerful, there can be a learning curve when first setting up more advanced flows or deeply customized experiences. Some reporting and segmentation options could be more intuitive, and it occasionally takes experimentation to get everything configured exactly the way you want. Additionally, certain advanced capabilities may require higher-tier plans, which can be a consideration for smaller teams.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot solves the challenge of driving product adoption and improving onboarding without heavy engineering effort. It helps us guide users through key features, reduce confusion, and encourage activation directly inside the product. As a result, we’ve seen better feature adoption, fewer repetitive support questions, and more confidence that users are getting value faster. This has a direct impact on retention and overall customer satisfaction.

  ### 29. Userpilot Delivers Great Analytics Plus Powerful In-App Messaging

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

We were considering Heap, a solely product analytics tool but very glad we have decided to go to Userpilot, it does everything we want on the analytics side and has the benefit of a very good in app messaging side as well. Im finding i dont have enough hours in the day to use all the features that will be relevant to us.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

It probably needs to be more specific to CS teams for reporting, the product analytics is good but the reporting is product team heavy and there are a lot of reports you could build that are relevant to CS team understanding churn and risks which i think Heap has.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to prioritise decisions based on useage in the platform and engage with customers using the app not just emails

  ### 30. Driving Feature Adoption, User Engagement and Data-led Decisions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nadia R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I appreciate the clean and intuitive UI of Userpilot, and it's great to see the tool's continuous innovation. The customer support is quick, responsive, and helpful. We primarily use Userpilot for product analytics to drive informed roadmap decisions, while the Sessions Replays allow our support team to troubleshoot quickly by seeing exact user experiences. Most importantly, it provides the ability to easily deploy a maintenance banner or informational tooltips without development help, which is a huge efficiency driver.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Userpilot is a great tool, but it could be even better with more customizable reporting, advanced filtering. Also, the ability to upload a DL for email communications rather than being limited to only in-platform users.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

n/a

  ### 31. Seamless Integration with Clear Survey Tracking and Charts

I like how seamless it is to integrate into my platform and I can be able to see surveys and properly track metrics when the survey was said the emails I can see charts and all of that

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Sometimes it's a bit technical to understand and I need to always involve developers. Better documentation would make this easier.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me to understand my customer feedback and be able to properly track. How are my products is doing

  ### 32. Effortless Onboarding with Userpilot, Despite Initial Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hayley Y. | Client Success, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I love how easy it is to set up a quick slide-out or popup with Userpilot. We've been able to notify users quickly about news, upcoming webinars, issues with our app, new features, etc. It's super quick to set up, and it looks great. Our users love it. Userpilot allows non-technical teams in marketing, product, and customer success to implement flows in the app without requiring any development or engineering, apart from the initial setup. This capability allows us to create a more enticing application that puts users first. I actually used Userpilot with a previous company and loved it, which is why I recommended it at my current workplace. The initial setup was easy. I had experience, and we used supporting documents provided on the setup site. Our support manager helped, and we easily set up a call with them to assist with any issues.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

There is a bit of a learning curve to get it up and running. There's a lot to customize when setting up a flow. Sometimes it can be hard to target specific elements, or get the flow to popup and do what you want straight away. You need to test it a lot at the beginning if you have a complex flow.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot for onboarding, surveys, and announcements. We also utilize the Resource Centre, which connects with our help-site. It allows non-technical teams to implement flows in-app without requiring development, creating a user-focused application. Setting up quick slide-outs or popups is easy, and users appreciate being notified about news, features, and issues quickly.

  ### 33. Empowers Rapid, Customizable User Onboarding Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel M.

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I use Userpilot to guide my users smoothly and intuitively through the product. It helps me build interactive onboarding experiences without writing code, allowing new users to immediately understand how the product works. I love the freedom to turn ideas into real in-app experiences quickly without waiting for development work. The ability to add tooltips, checklists, modals, or entire onboarding flows visually and launch them instantly is fantastic. I appreciate how Userpilot makes everything contextual, showing guidance based on user actions, which makes the product feel smarter and more helpful. Its features let me guide users in a natural, non-disruptive way. Checklists motivate users to complete key steps during onboarding, while modals ensure important updates are noticed. Building personalized onboarding journeys that adjust to user actions is a real plus, and it all happens without needing developer support. Userpilot gives me control, speed, and flexibility, and its analytics help me track behavior and engagement to boost feature adoption and reduce confusion. The initial setup was surprisingly easy, making it an enjoyable tool to create a great user experience.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

There are a few areas where I feel it could improve or where things don’t work as smoothly as I’d like. Sometimes the visual editor can be a bit sensitive when I’m trying to select specific elements inside the product, especially in complex interfaces. It works most of the time, but when it doesn’t, it slows me down. I also feel that the analytics, while helpful, could go deeper in terms of user behavior insights. I often want more detailed funnels or clearer paths showing how users move through different parts of the product. Another area that could be improved is the flexibility of styling. I can usually match my brand, but occasionally I hit limits with more customized layouts or animations. And finally, managing multiple onboarding flows or experiments can get a bit cluttered when the number of experiences grows — a more streamlined way to organize or categorize them would make things easier. Overall, these aren’t deal-breakers, but smoothing out these areas would make the tool even more powerful and enjoyable to use.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot to guide users smoothly through the product, improve feature adoption, and reduce confusion. It helps me create interactive onboarding without code, personalize guidance, and track user behavior. This streamlines managing product experiences, eliminates developer bottlenecks, and speeds up iteration.

  ### 34. Support Team is Top-notch

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adie D. | Head of Client Success, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

It's always the case with powerful software that it can do so much for you, but therefore the learning curve can be steep. It's easy to get blocked on your unique vision with things you don't know. Sending a quick message to the support email with a video has been a great experience, as the team gets back to me, often in less than an hour's time with an answer back, and 9 times out of 10, solve my problem without the need for a follow up.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Nothing. I think it's hard to learn something like this from scratch and I think they do a great job making sure you have the resource you need for how you like to learn.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our software covers the complicated and intricate intersection of Real Estate and technology. Our users want our tool to be able to solve every problem, but our users are also generally lower-tech skilled workforce. It's crucial that we can create an experience that is exciting, clear, and straightforward to answer. It must be scalable and less dependent on multiple team members as we are a very small staffed company.

  ### 35. Easy In-App Tours and Guides with Minimal Development Effort

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anson D. | Software Test Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

One thing that I personally love about Userpilot is that it assists in user navigation within the product in a manner that requires less development effort. It is relatively easy to implement in-app tours, guides, and walkthroughs for better user experience.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

The first configuration can take a little while, especially when setting up events and flows. Second, the more complex functionalities require learning to implement properly.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UserPilot helps users overcome confusion through its in-app help facility. This increases the adoption rate of the product, making the help desk redundant for basic queries.

  ### 36. Educational and Flexible, But Needs Improved Reporting

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shannon H. | Faculty and Practicum Director

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Userpilot has some great educational resources which I love for ideas and inspiration for how to best use the product. If you've used one digital adoption tool, Userpilot’s features make sense and are intuitive. They have a good core feature set, providing the fundamental functionalities you'd expect from a digital adoption tool: allowing for various types of in-app tours, notifications, and surveys. We use surveys to capture product market fit, CSAT, and NPS. Digital adoption products are still relatively new, and the educational content provided by Userpilot, including how others use these tools, tips, tricks, and best practices, is beneficial in getting the most out of the product.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I find the reporting functionality in Userpilot not terribly intuitive. It lacks ease in finding and interpreting data on surveys and tool tip usage. The charts available on the dashboard aren't very helpful or actionable, making it difficult to derive insights. Additionally, I'd love to further customize the types of notifications I get. The settings are a bit all or nothing.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Userpilot to educate and inform customers with onboarding flows, feature tooltips, and in-app surveys, meeting them where they're at.

  ### 37. Empowers Teams with Intuitive Onboarding Tools

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vinicius X.

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I love using Userpilot for creating user onboarding flows and providing explanations of new features. It's excellent for delivering timely and contextual feedback after specific actions, which really enhances user understanding. Also, I appreciate how it helps display helpful information through 'know more' buttons and simplifies the creation of dialogues and modals, significantly reducing development team overhead. Userpilot provides a wealth of insightful information about user behavior, allowing our Product Managers and Designers to work independently from engineers. I enjoy its feature-rich platform, which boosts our product's engagement efficiently. From a developer's perspective, the robust toolkit ecosystem and web SDK for integrations are impressive, making it easy to trigger flows. The developer documentation is fantastic—complete and well-written, which makes implementation straightforward. Additionally, the initial setup of Userpilot is very straightforward, and I find that it integrates well with a wide array of other tools, complementing our extensive infrastructure seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I have a considerable amount of uncaught internal errors from the JS SDK logged to the console in one of our applications. This issue ultimately spams our observability tools with non-relevant and unstructured data, making it challenging to discern what's important or not. A solution to suppress these logs and listen to them from the app's observability mechanism would be ideal. This functionality would enable us to handle these errors in a custom way.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot provides insightful user behavior data, enables PMs and PDs to work independently, and offers a robust toolkit for developer integration, easing user onboarding and product engagement.

  ### 38. Enhances Onboarding with Powerful A/B Testing and Analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harry K.

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I like that Userpilot offers built-in analytics, which allows us to track engagement and tweak experiences to improve retention. It's also great that A/B testing onboarding experiences, which was manual before, can now be optimized to improve retention metrics. The swiftness of the platform is another plus. Additionally, Userpilot makes it easy to embed tools like Typeform surveys and Loom videos directly into the experiences for feedback and tutorials. I also appreciate that the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

A/B testing is great, but setup for more advanced experiments could be smoother without as many steps.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot for retention campaigns and A/B testing, which optimizes onboarding flows and boosts retention metrics. Built-in analytics track engagement and enable tweaking for improvement.

  ### 39. Enhances User Engagement with Data-Driven Iteration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carey B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I like that with Userpilot, we can iterate based on what users actually do and not just on what we think they do.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

The initial setup felt a little bit daunting, but I quickly figured my way around things.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot gives us visibility and control over behavior without relying on engineering, letting us test assumptions properly, not just ship and hope. We can iterate based on what users actually do, instead of what we think they do.

  ### 40. Insightful Analytics, Amazing Engagement Tools

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I find the UX on the product usage dashboards of Userpilot to be very well thought out, which allows me to effortlessly upload the graphs onto my reporting presentations. This makes the visual representation of the data engaging and easy to understand. The data exports functionality is exceptionally useful as I can further analyze specific customer feedback using Excel or other data analysis tools. I am also impressed by the engagement options Userpilot offers when augmenting our platforms. These features significantly enhance user engagement, providing amazing customization and optimization capabilities for my needs.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I would prefer if there was an option of downloading the data related to the dashboard graph instead of just a PNG of the graph. It will help in getting exports for further analysis. Additionally, the initial setup was not too easy and required multiple sessions with the account manager before I could get events onto the platform, even though the user guides were sufficient for setting up the engagements afterward.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot to track product usage and drive user engagement, gaining insights into client interactions to aid decision-making. The intuitive dashboards and data exports enhance reporting and facilitate deeper analysis, improving overall platform augmentation.

  ### 41. Intuitive and Effortless User Communication

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I like that Userpilot is a simple, easy-going solution where I don't have to spend time reminding myself how it should work and where to click. It's intuitive for adding information, unlike my previous workflow that required finding instructions on how to publish updates correctly. The initial setup was very easy, and we had support from their team for the first steps.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I would like to have automated translation.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot to inform users about new features and measure their interest. It's intuitive and easy to use, eliminating the need for instructions or videos to publish updates.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly with user feature adoption.

Not a broad range of integrations I will say. Another improvement this tool could use is the way data is displayed within the dashboards.

I find Userpilot pretty easy to use, which makes implementing various features a breeze. Its integration with segments is particularly useful for us because it allows us to effectively target the right users by using all our events and user properties. This connectivity is crucial as it simplifies the process of engaging with specific audience groups, enhancing the overall effectiveness of our in-app interactions. Moreover, the initial setup of Userpilot was pretty simple, making it accessible and straightforward to get started without needing extensive technical support from the development team. This simplicity in set-up and operation is a strong advantage as it allows our team to move more quickly on enhancing in-app experiences, saving us valuable time that would otherwise be spent coordinating with developers.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I find the overall user experience for creating flows in Userpilot could be improved. Although it is not necessarily worse than other tools, it's a feature that I believe could benefit from more innovation. Currently, using it can sometimes be a painful experience.

I use Userpilot to accelerate in-app experiences, conduct surveys, and message users without needing to work with the development team, thus improving targeting with ease of use and connecting segments.

There is a set number of images available for use, which helps when I don't have time to be creative.
