Alchemer is extremely user friendly. I use it regularly and have trained all of my employees to use it, very easy to implement and integrate. Building surveys is intuitive and simple. The platform also allows for a lot of different types of survey/tool building, question formats, logic, etc. I've been able to use Alchmer for all sorts of different feedback gathering and even use it as fillable forms in particular situations. Alchmer also has stellar reporting functionality and great exportability to Excel or SPSS for data analysis and research purposes. I find that Alchemer Survey is mostly focused on customer experience surveys, which can sometimes lead to certain features or options missing that I might need for other types of surveys. I think the big thing that would be great is if there could be a built-in translation service within Alchemer Survey instead of us having to upload our own translation services. the easy of building surveys and availability of all question types. + the DIY platform is easy to navigate with the library which has all the information that one might require to navigate through any challenges. They have almost all types of integration available too with the enterprise licence which is very helpful for pulling up data and connecting it with google docs and so many other tools for analysis like Tableau for visual presentation of the data. The built-in logic is excellent, we build out all of our surveys using Alchemer. The logic helps with all the different scenarios we have for dealerships from product selection to management systems. The multi-user tier is a bit pricey, so we settle for one user. We communicate between the team when using the account so another person does not kick off the current user. Save yourself the pain of dealing with poor customer service and a poorly managed survey platform. I have worked with Alchemer now at three different organizations (across the past 8 years), and across all three companies we have discontinued our use of the Alchemer survey platform and all Alchemer services.

If you're looking for any type of advanced question types, their programming team has to get involved (unless you're excellent in writing your own code) and it always takes an extended period of time to get their help (i.e., their own team was the bottleneck to me actually getting my surveys out in real time). The platform also has a lot of bugs that they have not addressed over the last 8 years - customer service does not seem to care.

Speaking of customer service, I have genuinely never worked with a less responsive, more combative, less customer friendly customer service department in my life. Any questions I had, took weeks to get an answer, even with me following up multiple times. Their responses were always very cold, and it was clear that customers asking questions was unwanted.

The other aspect of Alchemer I will warn against is their Alchemer Digital platform (Appenintive). My organization previously used this platform 5+ years ago, and we had discontinued usage of the platform about 3-4 years ago. Unfortunately, Alchemer kept billing us, without confirmation or even a contact email that wasn't bouncing back. This means they were charging us over $20k a year for the past 3-4 years to provide 0 services, and knowing full well they did not have approval from anyone in the org (because all of the notification of billing were being sent to emails that all had bounce-backs - and our company email is on our website, so if they were ethical, they could have reached out). Dealing with customer service and leadership through this entire process has been the worst customer service experience in a professional setting I have ever had. They were disrespectful, not understanding, and push shady business practices of billing accounts, even when they don't have an active relationship or account person for them.

Overall I would really steer clear of all Aclhemer products and would consider SurveyMonkey or Centiment or Suzy or literally any other platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Many of the options in Alchemer can be more streamlined, with better UX. Sometimes options and functions are hidden away in settings or other places. It might be just that I am more used to other platforms, but often I find myself thinking 'this could be a button somewhere else'. Also, one thing is I cannot rename question numbers easily.
