After nearly a decade as a customer, I can honestly say this has been one of the most frustrating vendor experiences I've had. Their contracts appear to include annual price increases (mine was approximately 7%), but when I needed help discussing my renewal and unique business situation, getting meaningful assistance proved extremely difficult. Contacting someone who could actually help was a challenge. The website chat felt almost entirely automated, and I found it surprisingly difficult to locate my contract details and pricing information within the platform. The entire process felt unnecessarily complicated. This year, we're closing some stores and opening others, so I simply wanted a contract that reflected our changing business needs and prevented us from paying for unused listings. Instead of working with me directly, Yext referred me to a third-party reseller despite our long relationship. Communication was consistently slow, making it stressful to address a contract that requires 30 days' notice before renewal. Whether intentional or not, the process made me feel like I had very little flexibility as a customer. I've never felt so undervalued by a marketing partner. In my opinion, Yext prioritized rigid contract terms over building a long-term customer relationship.
