**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

No code playform, though we can use different types of code languages, it was greatly customized and also we can connect with external apps via quickbase APIs which is a great advantage

cant retrive the deleted data, this is something we are very worried about

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

It is straightforward means to build and develop applications. Also quick & easy to understand for beginners. The customer support team is fantastic in resolving issues quickly. It's a low-code and user-friendly platform that quickly grabs the attention of new users. It is beneficial for reporting as it can easily handle massive amounts of data.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

I feel that all the features within Quickbase are great, but sometimes I think that if there is a vast amount of data within the table, it takes some time to load it into that table. This can be time-consuming sometimes, and if there are many dynamic rules, saving the form after adding or customizing the active rules takes a lot of time.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase saves a lot of time as we can use automation. Also, we have notifications, subscriptions and reminders, which are very useful to intimate users based on certain conditions. We can easily report data through various reports, charts etc.

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

The versatilitiy of the platform and ease with which an app can be created is quite honestly unmatched.  This capability combined with ease of learning/adoption by a non-technical user base cannot be overlooked!

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

The limited licensing options direct from Quickbase can be prohibitive to smaller organizations, although this can be managed by going through a reseller.  As a tech manager, I would also like to see some key options like SAML be available at any licensing tier.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A single platform to manage and track our business operations and manage key client data that would otherwise take 3 or 4 disjointed platforms to accomplish.  The more you use and deploy Quickbase in your organization, your employees will be coming to you with more use cases that solve problems or needs you didn't even know you had.

Quickbase is an exceptional tool to empower non-developer in building software for their organizations. Quickbase should be in every development  IT Shop. Quickbase allows Business stakholders and Quickbase users to build and prototype faster. Quickbase is a platform where requirements can be actively built with all the participates and a Organization can see their request materialize fast.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

I wish Quickbase would focus on an audience they may not have considered and that is a IT development department. Help make it easier to fit Quickase into their development processes and have Quickbase be another tool in that departments tooling.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to build an application quicker than with typical development tools. We are able to move faster in the requirements gathering to development because we can move fast.

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

It's really robust, but the dashboard can make it very clean and simple for the average user. Huge amount of resources to help learn how to use it.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Certain lookup type functionalities are not as easy to accomplish as I feel like the system should be able to do. A new field has to be made and connected to a different field. There should be an easier way to accomplish a lookup-type function.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem we solved using Quickbase was to track our employee separations across multiple locations and departments. Each location reports a little differently, and each department tracks certain information differently. A lot of the time, information gets lost and tracking is missed. It was very frustrating. Our Quickbase app put everything in the same place and everyone can get the info they need.

If you want to add features, it is pretty easy.

Quickbase is one of the best and easiest application i have ever encountered. I like the ability to customize it to improve our business's workflows and it has never disappointed me. I like how it allows us to present massive data in a very organized and understandable manner. It has a friendly and intuitive user interface which makes it easy to use even for beginners.

One of the challenges is that sometimes it takes longer than expected to load. Apart from this nothing much to mention that i don't like about it.

Quickbase is a multipurpose tool. I like the versatility of Quickbase and the ease with which an application can be developed. Additionally, Quickbase is always advancing their technology through new processes and designs.

You can build almost anything natively with Quickbase from project management to inventory management to customer management. Quickbase allows our company to work in the unique way that it does as opposed to making our business model fit in an out-of-box software. Our company uses multiple applications every day. We can create solutions and roll them out within a day.

Quickbase could do better with having training material and information available when new developments are launched.

Quickbase helps us to share data in real-time, avoiding conflicting spreadsheets of information. It also allows our field teams to manage their work without having to be connected to our network or any other. The information that anyone wants is within the palm of their hand most of the time.

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

We have had a lot of success building our operations platform, but over time we outgrew the systems. Allowed us to be a problem. In other words, it got us by at a low cost until our growth became a problem. If our operations never expanded it would have worked forever.

At this point, it forces us into an overly rigid format. Ultimately, they threatened a 2 million dollar price increase on us that made us scramble. I will be first to admit that we are probably not the typical customer, but as a long standing customer we were treated extremely poorly.

Streamline processes. We manage customer relations, performance measurement, requests for quotes, strategic meeting plans, employee of the month recommendations, surveys and more through quickbase.

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I work in analytical chemistry and diagnostic laboratory operations. I hate paperwork, I hate filing cabinets and when I had a chance to build a lab from scratch I made it clear we would have no paper in the lab. I was shown quickbase by a colleague and within days I was building the basic foundations of a lab information management system. As I got better with Quickbase through the online resources and some third party guidance I was able to build a complete end to end lab information management system. This software can cost over $70k for a small to medium sized lab and we didnt want to get sucked into a static system than was slow to change in our dynamic organization. Now we manage the operation, upgrades and data management internally and everything is custom tailored to our needs

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Maybe I havent had a good look around the learning resources available but I have had trouble getting from "intermediate" to "advanced" user skill abilities. Maybe some basic "this is how you build an app" strategy guidance could be useful. I am still learning so I chop up most of my frustration to skill rather than platform problems. I would love some help if someone wants to spend some time with me though!

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our entire lab is managed through quickbase. From sample registration and biobanking storage to results generation and automated data export to patients. Our chemical inventory is linked to our analytical operations so we can track what chemical was used with which pipette or other equipment, when and why.

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I have experience building applications for web and desktops used by a mid-size company in some common languages as well as years of experience writing Quickbase applications. Quickbase does allow you to get very close to the functionality of coded applications in a fraction of the development time. It shines when your users want a new feature. Adding features to a desktop application of any complexity generally takes a while to do right, adding a feature to a quick base application takes a fraction of the time.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Web-only interface, A native application with offline data capabilities would help increase the speed of the Workflow. The mobile app is not great. Data changes take multiple clicks and web refreshes.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling, orders for both sales and purchasing, shipping, inventory, and customer-facing forms. Quickbase does all those things well for us. One of the best benefits of moving to Quickbase was getting all of our data in the same place, and reusing the same data across multiple areas. For instance, you put the part of an inventory item in once, and any form across any part of the organization that uses Quickbase can use that data instead of entering it again and potentially getting it wrong.

This is a really good platform for all kinds of workflows and business. This can get very complex situations and messy spreadsheets into an automated workflow with dashboards and different permissions across a whole company.
It can be integrated very good with multiple platforms.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

It is not the best for medium/small business since it is a little expensive.
As a developer, I liked a lot Javascript inside the formula fields, which is no longer supported.

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

We started small hoping for Quickbase to solve some reporting problems and bringing teams together.  We are well beyond this and we are now connecting multiple outside programs into our Quickbase setup.  Once connected, we only see the data we need in quickbase instead of logging into these other programs multiple times per day.  Also the security and permissions of Quickbase has been everything we need for our organization.  Similar systems did not offer custom permissions like they offer.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

The mobile experience is still being improved.  We currently advise our employees to use the website version on their mobile devices and not the app version.  But weve heard good things are around the corner.  The inability to control the order of the tables visually at the top of the page has us forcing people to live in Dashboards (which are nice, but controlling the sort order would be better)

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Too many systems that users are not using.  We are bringing all the data together
Users with too much access or not enough.  Our other systems dont allow pinpoint user access and roles.  Quickbase does.
On Demand Reports.  Other reporting options in our other system are slow or dont load at all.  Once we have the data in Quickbase we have very fast access and ability to add fields and more info.

I like the more technical products of Quickbase such as webhooks, pipelines, and API.

Some of the downsides are the newest features as there are some items that were part of the legacy functionality that did not make it to new functionality such as printing functionality on the old forms that did not make it to the new forms.

They are helping us develop a robust construction project management software that delivers accurate and timely updates on the progress and completion of construction projects.

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase is very easy to use, and I love its user-friendliness. In my company, we have users that need to perform various roles and do different tasks in Quickbase, and since switching to Quickbase, they can complete their jobs much more efficiently. I love that it is highly customizable, and allows someone to build out the app even without any coding or database backgrounds.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

In order to create more complicated apps, automations, or forms, I typically need to rely on a third party company to help us build out the logic. As I do not have a coding background, sometimes I have difficulty doing those more complicated builds on my own. However, Quickbase does have an extensive library of information online, as well as a community where I can ask questions, which I do find extremely useful.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase solves the problem of having to keep track of different pieces of information and allows us to integrate it all into one place easily. Rather than tracking our customer database in one spot, our product forecasts elsewhere, and our point-of-sale information in a third, Quickbase can link all that data into one area.

very customizable, we use this for our every day platform. We used very detailed spreadsheets and the build out we have is perfect for us. We invested a lot of money but it works well. We wish it was however more easy to add things ourselves.

- difficult to create applications on your own and often need developper help which can be quite costly. The platform is not super user friendly to use and build out on your own. Even using the templates is very tricky.

- developers significantly range on how they approach and build platforms so you cant really jump from one to another (I've had one deny me because they didnt like how the other built our platform)
- some features are limited and/or overly complicated to use and build (such as searching function)
- cost for the platform SIGNIFICANTLY increases year over year

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to have all of our staff on one platform mobile and have access to all of it at anytime. Previously we were using all paper, we are now 100% in the cloud and using quickbase for all of our database management.

Quickbase is a transformative platform that can be easily customised to meet project management requirements.

You can customise data entry to suit your exact needs, increasing efficiency and providing reports that can provide true insight into business processes, progression and historical analasis.  It has allowed our projects managers, administration staff, field staff a level of support that has been transformative.  

I could not recommend this product enough.  If you any sort of spreadsheets in your company, this would be a vast improvement your systems and is definately worth the investment.

Cost per user means assigning access to field staff who use the product on a very limited basis can reduce cost effictiveness

- The non-technical people can built their unique business applications without anyone's help in quick turnaround time.
- The hardware, software and the applications are all managed by Intuit. So the user need not worry about patching, security, upgrades etc.
- QuickBase has something for everyone. 
-- A novice can build quick apps as per their needs without writing any code. 
-- A professional can extend the solution using his programming skills and build any complexity hassle free.
- QuickBase offers easy integration with other applications therefore it's adaptibility is also hassle free.
- Creating copies of the same app is so easy and therefore extending the app as a product to others also is a treat.
- QuickBase offers a good mix of reporting and analytical capabilities as well which makes the product so strong in its offerings.

- QuickBase licensing cost is not competitive among its competitors which makes it a little hard to sell.
- QuickBase is still not multi-lingual which is some cases is a deal breaker.

We can’t emphasize enough how invaluable QuickBase has been to our Team over the years. It’s not an exaggeration to say that it has transformed the way we work and how we gain data insights into our projects. From the very beginning, this platform stood out for its user-friendliness. The learning curve was minimal, and within no time, our team was up and running, making the most of its features.

One area where Quickbase can improve is in it's visual interface. Some of its charts and dashboards look outdated. I am hopeful Quickbase will make updates to it's visual components in the future.

Everything stands exemplary when compared to other competitor tools but I would like to point out few report based issues.(very minimal)
1.  Column sizes for a summary report are unevenly  partitoned when placed in dashboard.
2. The hyperlink of a summary report doesn't work when clicked from newer version of dashboards , In order to view the data we have to open the report and then click on hyperlink.

Swift creation of workflows , dashboards and reports.Even non technical user can create their own reports.
Tracking of Queue Items which were extremely hard to track piror to QB as we used excel.
Data Visualizations and Data Storage at the same place.
Various Data manipulation automations , Automatic trigger of Notifications and Reminders as it saved us a lot of valuable time.

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I've been using Quickbase for a little over a year and I've found that it is quite easy to become proficient at.  I have no background in computer science, but I find the formulas quite intuitive once you start using them.  At first, it can feel overwhelming, but a combination of Quickbase University and the community forum have helped me solve every problem along the way so far.  My absolute favorite thing about it is how there is more than one way to solve a problem using the program - I look at stuff I created last year and cringe because I didn't know any better.  Every day I get better with it and I look forward to becoming even more proficient.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

I wish the mobile app could be more modernized by offering push notifications.  Rather than having everything through email or SMS, it would be nice to be able to utilize the mobile app in a more mobile way.  Otherwise, it is very helpful for quickly entering/viewing information when not in front of a computer.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More times than I can count I've said to myself "Quickbase can do that better," and it has absolutely been true.  I'm at the point now where I can identify processes in the day to day workplace and use Quickbase to standardize, organize, and streamline the process.

for project managemnet it is adequate - frankly there are too many paths, to much back and forth

I hate this system.  It should not take DAYS to enter an order no matter the industry, no matter the way you are trying to convey the information.In 20 years I have never had a program I despised this much. Typically I am the one who masters software & teaches the team. I've been here 4 months & thought of quitting over this system alone more than once a month: it is clunky, unforgiving & incredibly messy, it takes several steps to bundle up an order by vendor and it goes back to being messy when you are done if you make one wrong move you have to reorganize. Additionally, I cannot upload a screen shot of my quickbase to complete this review.

nothing, I am in disbelief this company chose such an application that makes you build in the customer order & the vendor PO on one line ILO in different tabs - it's ridiculous

Ease of use. Customization ability, work flow is simple. Ability to intigrate and adapt to current systems. We've been able to eliminate other subscriptions and save TONS of time required to perform our weekly tasks.

The most helpful is the tech support. They are knowledgable and quick to respond.
I like that it can be made simplistic if a person has no SQL in there vocabulary.

Sometimes its hard to get all info into one report from multiple tables. Before years ago if I needed to add another user I could without to much problems now the prices have gone up so much per user and I need to almost rewrite the contract that we signed.

Makes it very easy to build custom apps and collaborate with all our users. It has many features and a pretty extensive application store where you can import templates and customize to your needs.

Email notifications can only be sent to licensed users.  It would help to have that option even if limited to a certain number.

It lets us customize databases, forms, and emails mostly without the need to code.  Tweaking the system is quick, easy, and cheap.

The versatility of reporting and functionality is great, and now that they've updated the look and feel to allow for more modern form flows, it's just as good as any other CRM out there. It can integrate with just about any tool out there via Zapier or webhooks so there's no shortage of possibilities.

It tends to lag when too many people are calling requests at once. There are also some options when filtering reports that would be nice to have.

The Auto suggestion of Table/fields name is very useful, which also shows the use of AI/ML in QuickBase.
Executive Dashboard allows to present single business view for Leadership reviews, which is one of the selling point (multiple tabs and filter)
Formula summary is very handy which gives the summary value without creation of complex relationship.
Effective use of pipleine make multiple things possible in Quickbase in easy way to bring data from external sources extended its capability to multifold.

I like this tool a lot as it is a quick building platform for me to offer to our clients in short time, but we can enhance below points:
1. Automatic deployment of code to multiple instances with version control automatically will save on manual deplyment .
2.Mobile UI still need improvisation.

1. Adding client value by providing training schedule and tracking application for their organization.
2. Onboarding and offboarding process : Self Service portal to track the user request for the access of different application.

QuickBase has been a game-changer for our quality department. It has helped the way we manage and analyze data, making  our processes easier to manage rather than using the limiting modules in Delmia.

Before using QuickBase, we had to use Google Sheets using data dumped from our ERP system. It became confusing for team members to know what sheets to use, and where to look when performing quality checks. Having one place to do it all has helped a lot.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

I wish it had more options to create pipelines for other services such as Google BigQuery rather than just using Google Sheets. The learning center could also use a bit of streamlining as there are tons of different categories with subcategories making it confusing that you want to learn.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase solved the problems with using limiting software for Quality management. We use Quickbase to capture our quality data in a more effective way that allows our team members to collaborate from different plants. It doesn't require much training so team members can easily pick it up and do an effective job.

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase is integral to our business.  It's scalable and flexible, and allows me to create apps to support all of our business processes.  My favorite part is Pipelines, which allow me to connect to many other business applications and data.  We use it every day, for multiple users in my organization and outside my organization.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Sometimes it's hard to do what I want it to do, and recent changes (for the better) have made me need to relearn how to do some actions.  Customer support is always very helpful, though.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase is allowing us to streamline and automate many business processes, to be more organized, and to maintain one set of data.

Building relationship between tables often brings ambiguity sometomes

The administrative process is awful, if you are not from USA you get waful administrative support, they are very slow with invoices and identitfy the payments.

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

The workflow is incredible and outstanding. I like the fact that you can utilize the application and see all of your information on one screen. Another advantage is that Quickbase is flexible and it provides a low-code platform that allows you to quickly and easily create customized applications.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

One of the disadvantages of Quickbase is the cost which is a bit high and can be a barrier for some organizations.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase integrates well with other softwares enabling you to capture data from multiple sources and gain a more comprehensive view of your data. Also, Quickbase saves much time.
