## Quickbase Reviews
 ### 1. Great Overall Functionality and Potential AI Capability

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** edsel n. | Program Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase has been helpful for managing our existing logs and organizing information across different service areas. Our DSS department uses it to track client data, which we previously managed in an Excel spreadsheet. It addressed the problem of multiple staff members trying to edit the same file at once, which used to cause issues. Overall, it’s been smooth to use, and we haven’t had any complaints with what we currently have in place. I also appreciate the flexibility to create test applications so I can explore potential uses for other departments. Pricing is fair and worth the functionality. We haven't had any issues with performance or integration of existing data.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Before Quickbase, we relied heavily on Excel for tracking client information, and it wasn’t working well. Staff ran into issues with multiple people editing the same file, which led to errors and inefficiencies. Quickbase eliminated those problems by providing a centralized platform where everyone can access and update information without conflicts. It’s also helped us explore ways to streamline processes, like maintenance tracking and capturing signatures, though those are still in the early stages. Overall, Quickbase has made managing data easier and more reliable for the department that uses it. We would like to see more features related to signature capturing that is integrated into QuickBase and not a third party attachment. AI features are being introduced constantly so that has been a great addition to existing functionality.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to spin up applications for clients very quickly without a lot of staff downtime. This allows us to formulate and integrate simple solutions to rudimentary problems while also ensuring onboarding is seamless.

**Official Response from Jerry Kleva:**

> We're glad to hear that you appreciate our AI capabilities! We're constantly working to improve our documentation to provide more information on intricate features.

 ### 2. Incredibly Customizable—Quickbase Centralized Our Projects in One Place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cassie K. | Office Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

It’s incredibly customizable. Nearly anything I’ve wanted to do (or that others in my org have asked for) seems possible. It sometimes takes a bit of Googling and some time to figure out how to make it happen, but there are plenty of resources out there (Quickbase University, Quickbase Community, office hours) to help me work through different use cases. Before Quickbase, we had multiple spreadsheets that were owned by different people to track all of our projects. Now almost everything we do lives in one place, with one owner but everyone has the access they need. The pricing seemed high for us because we're a small company with only a few employees, and we'll likely never meet the minimum users required. But we keep finding uses for it that make it more valuable all the time!

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Because we’re a small company with only a few users, I do wish there were plans available with lower user limits, though I understand they need to cover their costs and turn a profit. The learning curve was pretty steep for me; there were plenty of days I went home frustrated because I knew what I wanted to do was possible, but I just couldn’t figure out how to do it. At the time, Quickbase University had a ton of content to help me learn, but some of it felt outdated since they had recently released several new features along with an updated UI. Lately, I’ve noticed that a lot of the Quickbase U content has been refreshed to match the current UI, so it should be easier for new folks who are just getting started.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to have spreadsheets everywhere, and our information was siloed in each person’s individual files. Even though we never missed a deadline, we always knew there was some risk—especially if an employee had to take unexpected leave. Now, everyone has access to all the information, which makes it much easier to stay aligned and keep work moving. The built-in report and notification capabilities give us another layer of protection so we don't miss something important.

 ### 3. Quickbase Makes Automation and Custom App Building Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie H. | Clinical Support Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I like that Quickbase lets me automate processes and avoid manual work. I’m someone who prefers efficiency, and Quickbase helps me get things done faster without having to deal with repetitive tasks. I was able to build an app from scratch using Quickbase University and the help docs, even though I had never used Quickbase before. It’s satisfying to figure things out and see them work. The platform is flexible, and I’ve been able to customize it to fit our needs, like creating dashboards and reports for supervisors and case managers. It’s also great for tracking and organizing data in a way that’s easy to reference later. I appreciate that Quickbase allows me to make things easier for others to use and access.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Not much, I have heard from people using my application that they have a difficult time understanding the logic but I believe the majority of that frustration will be addressed with the new UI QB uploaded.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Quickbase, we were using Microsoft Planner, which isn’t a database and made pulling reports a two-day process. It was subjective and inefficient. Now, with Quickbase, I’ve built an app to track audits for compliance with state requirements for Medicaid. The app helps us pinpoint where issues are occurring in member files and track trends across audits. For example, I can see which areas are failing most often and use that data to guide training for case managers.

 ### 4. Quickbase Simplifies Complex Workflows with Flexible, Powerful Reporting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elena D. | Data Base Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase makes it easier to manage complex workflows without needing everything to be fully automated. I like that it allows me to create reports and track assignments in a way that’s already simpler than what we had in place before. For example, when we were working on the PTO backup system, Quickbase let us set up relationships and formulas that dynamically adjust based on real-time data, like who’s out on PTO and who their backup is. It’s not perfect, but it’s flexible enough that I can create workarounds, like manual overrides, when needed. I also appreciate how the app leverages relationships and formulas in a clean, straightforward way. It’s not overly complicated, but it’s powerful enough to handle what we need.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

The Jinja-specific language means having to learn yet another IT language. I wish you could incorporate SAS, SQL, or Python directly in the code sections instead.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Quickbase, managing assignments and backups was a mess. We had no way to dynamically account for PTO or ensure tasks were reassigned to backups in real time. Now, Quickbase helps us track who’s out and automatically shifts assignments to their backup for that day. It’s not fully automated, but it’s already better than what we had before. For example, if someone is out, their tasks flip to their backup, and when they return, it flips back. This saves us from manually tracking everything and reduces errors. Another issue was sorting tasks by date and time. Quickbase allowed us to create formulas to sort properly, even though it took some trial and error to get it right. It’s also helped us with tracking the most recent completed dates for projects, which was something we couldn’t do easily before. Overall, it’s made our workflows more manageable, even if there’s still some manual work involved."

 ### 5. Quickbase Keeps Our Work Organized with Clear Dashboards and Better Team Visibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tanya M. | Research Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

What I like most about Quickbase is how it helps our team keep work organized in one place instead of managing everything across different tools. We use it to track project progress, monitor task updates, and manage different stages such as not started, in progress, and review.

The dashboards and reports give a clear breakdown of current status, making it easy to identify pending work and follow up quickly. It has made coordination smoother and improved overall visibility across the team

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

One downside is that the UI can feel a bit basic compared to some modern tools, which can impact the overall user experience. It may take some time for new users to get comfortable navigating different sections.

Also, when working with larger datasets or detailed reports, performance can sometimes slow down. While it works well for regular use, improvements in UI design and performance would make it even better.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase helps solve the challenge of scattered data and lack of visibility across tasks. Earlier, tracking updates required manual follow-ups and multiple tools, but now everything is centralized.

It allows us to monitor progress in real time, reduce manual effort, and ensure everyone is aligned. This has improved efficiency and made our workflow more structured.

 ### 6. QuickBase: Flexible Low-Code App Building with Strong Integrations and Extensions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sachin S. | Platform Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

What I like best about Quickbase is its flexibility and speed in building custom applications without heavy coding. In my workplace, I actively use Quickbase to develop and manage applications for system configuration and pricing workflows. I have created multiple interconnected tables for systems, component libraries, pricing updates, and standardized solutions, which helps us manage complex data relationships efficiently.

The ability to customize forms, reports, and dashboards allows us to track project status, manage client-specific requirements, and improve operational visibility. We also use Pipelines to automate workflows such as data updates and notifications, which reduces manual effort and improves accuracy. Overall, Quickbase helps us streamline operations and quickly adapt to changing business needs

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

One of the main drawbacks of Quickbase is its limited UI/UX customization, which can make applications feel less modern and restrict flexibility for end-user experience. In our implementation, where we manage multiple related tables and complex workflows, performance can sometimes slow down, especially when working with large datasets or detailed reports.

Additionally, while integrations are possible, advanced use cases often require APIs or additional configuration, which increases development effort. The pricing model can also become expensive as usage scales across teams. These factors can impact scalability and user experience, and improvements in UI flexibility, performance optimization, and native integrations would make the platform even more effective.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase helps us solve the challenge of managing complex workflows and disconnected data across our operations by providing a centralized and customizable platform. In our workplace, we use it to manage system configuration and pricing processes, where multiple related datasets (such as systems, components, and pricing structures) need to be connected and updated in real time.

It has allowed us to replace manual spreadsheets with structured applications, improving data accuracy, visibility, and consistency across teams. We also use automation (Pipelines) to reduce repetitive tasks like status updates, approvals, and notifications.

 ### 7. Make it how you want it

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dorian G. | Purchasing Manager, Construction, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase makes it easy to organize and customize things the way I need them. I like that I can adjust fields, headers, and reports without worrying about breaking anything. I recently was able to add a new column to group inventory by location and create a separate category column, and it didn’t mess up the existing setup. It’s straightforward to make changes, and I don’t feel like I’m going to screw something up. The dashboards are also really helpful. They let me see everything I need in one place, and I can tweak them to show exactly what I want. That’s probably one of my favorite features.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Before Quickbase, tracking inventory was a hassle. Our monthly counts involved a lot of jumping back and forth between areas, and it wasn’t easy to keep everything organized. Now, I can group inventory by location and category, which saves time and makes it easier for the team to count items without running all over the place. I’ve also been able to update pricing and quantities directly in the system, so everything matches up better. Another big benefit is being able to track work-in-progress jobs separately from hard inventory. This helps us account for materials that haven’t been billed yet but are still part of our inventory. Quickbase has helped us clean up our processes and make things more efficient

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’re now running a lot of our business tasks through QB, and it has made us more efficient and cost-effective overall.

 ### 8. Quickbase review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shilpa G. | Strategic Operations Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

It gives a platform for creating workflows at one place. Integrates several tools into 1 place, easy to learn and create on Quickbase. UI is customizable. Support resource are good. AI and intelligence features are still to evolve.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Pipeline errors occur very frequently, poor UI/UX look and feel, unable to customize the look and feel for our users. AI and intelligence features are yet to evolve for users. AI chat is more for developers. Pricing and performace seems ok

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it for our travel and Headcount management, it is of great help to get a centralized repository, user access and protection, scalable solution. we started developing another app in quickbase for digitizing our forms and it seems more streamlined view of making it better for users

 ### 9. Transformative Data Management with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emerson W. | Adjunct Professor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

There are several features about QuickBase that I love. 1) The relational aspect: this has allowed my organization's data from different program areas to speak to each other; 2)Automated workflows: are going to make data entry and responding to requests much more efficient for my team; 3) Flexibility: the customizability of QuickBase has been important for our database build. We are a unique organization and the granualrity of customization has made QuickBase very useful; 4) Customer Service: I've had such an excellent experience at every step of my QuickBase journey. From sales to project management to app creation.

Transitioning from Google Sheets to Quickbase has been a significant upgrade for our organization. Now, the previously siloed data from various program areas can communicate, allowing us to get a fuller picture of how clients interact with different program areas. Data is also stored in a much more cohesive manner that does not require as much duplicate entry.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Not much to dislike. The Google integration has been a little tricky. We are still trying to figure out how to connect to subfolders in our Google Drive instead of the main toplevel drive.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The program areas in our organization overlap in many unique ways that individual Google Sheets are unable to capture. The relational nature of QuickBase has been wonderful. Allowing us to better understand how our clients interact with our organization. And using this data to inform our planning and decision making.

 ### 10. Quickbase Streamlines Safety Tracking with Customizable, Real-Time Reporting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary Kristin G. | Designated Employer Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I like Quickbase because it gives our Safety team a reliable, customizable way to track incidents, audits, training, and compliance tasks all in one place. The platform makes it easy to streamline reporting, automate follow‑ups, and maintain accurate, real‑time records—reducing the risk of missed deadlines or overlooked hazards. Its flexibility lets us adapt forms, workflows, and dashboards as safety regulations or company needs change, which strengthens our ability to respond quickly and keep our teams informed. Overall, Quickbase helps improve consistency, visibility, and accountability across our safety processes.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

One downside of Quickbase is that its flexibility can also make it time‑consuming to set up and maintain, especially when building complex apps or workflows from scratch. Some features require a deeper learning curve, and without consistent upkeep, forms and reports can become cluttered or outdated. It can also be challenging when certain customizations need more advanced knowledge than everyday users typically have. Overall, while Quickbase is powerful, it can demand more time and technical effort than expected to keep everything running smoothly and aligned with evolving needs.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase helps solve several key challenges by centralizing safety data, streamlining reporting, and reducing manual work. It allows us to track incidents, inspections, training, and compliance tasks in one place, which eliminates the traditional issues of scattered spreadsheets, delayed updates, and inconsistent recordkeeping. Automated workflows ensure follow‑ups and corrective actions aren’t missed, and real‑time dashboards give clear visibility into trends so we can address risks sooner. Overall, Quickbase improves accuracy, efficiency, and accountability across our safety processes, helping us stay proactive instead of reactive.

**Official Response from Andrew Reeser:**

> Thank you for sharing how Quickbase has benefited your team by centralizing safety data, streamlining reporting, and reducing manual work. We're committed to continuously enhancing our platform to better meet the evolving needs of our users.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

There are plenty of Quickbase Partners, a thriving user Community and Discord community, Quickbase online resources/documentation, a Quickbase University to teach you everything you need to know and specialist Partner resources for niche development for niche needs that natively Quickbase does not offer.

**Recommendations to others considering Quickbase:**

Make sure to make the most of the online resources (Knowledge Base and Community Forum). When you need more dedicated help, reach out to a QuickBase QSP or independent Consultant for advice - you will be surprised how easy it could be to achieve what you are struggling with by yourself.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using spreadsheets for heavy lifting of a business is one formula away from a disaster. Quickbase allows you to ingest, report, disect and disseminate information in meaningful ways to anyone in real-time. Decision making from Management can be made without meetings, users can build their own reports to meet their individual needs and access to data is controlled by you, the business. Control what is visible to who, and when. Limit the ability to create data or delete data. Across many business I work with in various industries, Quickbase is solving problems the large enterprise-solutions cannot. If you have tried Quickbase before, you should try it again - it has evolved! If you are not succeeding in your goals, you may have made a simple error architecturally in the Application design - an easy fix. The power of Pipelines to automate data workflow around your Apps or into/from other solutions is what makes Quickbase enterprise-grade; but any opportunity to automate a mundane repetitive process is simply smart business.

 ### 12. Efficient, Customizable with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael T. | QUickbase Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I use Quickbase to manage projects, financial reporting, and our mobile teams, and it's a big part of our operations. Quickbase helps us be more efficient and quicker in our processes, saving us a lot of labor hours while reducing mistakes and giving us cleaner data. It's easy to build and user-friendly, making it successful because people actually want to use it, and that's key. Due to its customization capabilities, we tailor it to our needs. It runs smoothly and quickly, with faster querying and searching compared to most other programs. Additionally, the community Quickbase has fostered is amazing, providing us help directly from other developers.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

A lot of the things that could help, like performance tools, require the Enterprise plan to use. This feels counterproductive because you want Quickbase to perform well before spending more money on it. Performance tools should be standard with every Quickbase account. They need to focus on improving their current features rather than expanding more. Focus on new grid style reports and fixing bugs so we can implement them. Settle in and make what they have work before implementing new things. And they can get rid of Fast Field; no one wants to pay for it, and it doesn't integrate well enough. Negotiations on cost and renewals are not great, as I feel very frustrated with them.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase makes our processes more efficient and quicker. We save labor hours, reduce mistakes, and have cleaner data. It helps with managing projects, financial reporting, and mobile tasks. It's user-friendly, allowing us to tailor it to our needs and ensuring widespread user adoption.

 ### 13. Powerful Integrations, Needs Pipeline Improvements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eugene v. | Project Delivery - PM Tools Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I really appreciate the powerful relationships in Quickbase. It's much stronger than other local platforms I've tried. The ability to create relationships and use them to look up or summarize values, and then perform calculations, even across multiple tables, is extremely powerful and saves a lot on automation. Quickbase is also very fast and secure. It's very easy to manage and create things, even though some items may be a bit more difficult. Overall, it feels very simple and flexible. I can visualize and build pretty much anything I want, which makes Quickbase incredibly powerful for us. The pipelines, old automations, and new pipelines are vital; without them, we couldn't move data around. I also think the rich text fields and version three tables are extremely important parts that enhance the user experience. Managing and governing the realm is easy to use, and I don't have to be an IT expert. What I like most is that it just works. It works today, it works tomorrow, and it keeps on working. I love it.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Performance of pipelines is probably the weakest link in Quickbase at the moment. The pipelines seem to have some limitation even though they claim there is no throttling. There is definitely throttling because pipelines just can't handle a lot of volume of work, which is a big drawback. Issues like requests on a pipeline step bombing out easily without a clear reason and maximum size exceeded errors contribute to variability in pipeline performance. Another issue is that the version three tables need all their bugs fixed because it is hampering user experience. Lastly, the forms need more customization and improvement. The way the buttons work at the top and how forms save and load is still clunky, leading to many user experience complaints.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Quickbase to prevent spreadsheet errors, integrate data, and create an enterprise tool that supports collaboration and standardizes processes.

 ### 14. Easy-to-Use Quickbase with Powerful Reporting, Integrations, and Responsive Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sourabh S. | Technical Support Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I’m a frequent user of Quickbase and have been using it for the past five years. Overall, it’s very easy to use and manage.

I especially like creating reports based on our requirements. It helps me sort data, set up notifications for our users, and use formula fields effectively. Customer support is also strong; they respond quickly and follow up regularly.

Quickbase also provides a pipeline feature that helps us connect with other platforms and within Quickbase itself.

It is allowing teams to build applications quickly without deep programming knowledge, simple integration, which reduces development time, and implementation is easy overall

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

When we use formula queries, our application becomes slow, and it affects our work progress. Also, sometimes while working on summary reports, we face the same issue.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like the new UI, where the table shows sideways.

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase allows a lot of flexibility for creating custom Apps for different Use-cases. We've created apps for Tool and Inventory tracking, Marketing, and Project Management to name a few. The fact that there is a Mobile app also helps get the tools into more hands. If you really dig into it, you can customize it to exactly what you need.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

There is a little bit of a learning curve for the deeper development side of things. The positive of being a no-code creation is also a negative in that it's harder to implement programming deeper uses.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Quickbase for a very wide variety of uses within our business. One of the main things is being able to convert archaic old inventory systems, and bring them to the modern age. What was once a single excel spreadsheet manually updated, is not a full application for inventory tracking. Our old way had a sometimes two week turnaround on an inventory check, and with the app it is believed to be down to one hour.

Quickbase has also helped improve how people here feel about the tools and technology they use. There was a lot of frustration with older apps that weren’t built well, but the new apps I’ve built in Quickbase have gotten people excited about what’s possible. It’s nice to see people actually happy to utilize technology to a fuller extent.

 ### 16. Easy-to-Use, Powerful Data Insights for Our Logistics

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derek M. | Inventory Innovation Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase has been a solid tool for us, especially when it comes to managing the logistics of our food delivery program. One of the things I appreciate most is how well it integrates with other tools we use, like FastField. For example, we’ve been able to connect our bulk order forms directly into Quickbase, so every submission automatically creates a record in our Quickbase tables. It's very easy to pick up and lets us easily manipulate large amounts of data to gain incredibly useful insights on our processes.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

More customizability would be very helpful. We've found a lot of utility with the Code Page feature, but it lacks a lot of elements that traditional IDE environments have, like debugging and support for file structures. Pipelines could also be a little more intuitive. Otherwise, it has been a very easy to use and powerful tool.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Quickbase, a lot of our processes were manual and tedious. For example, we used to track inventory and deliveries with pen and paper, which was time-consuming and prone to errors. Now, we’re working on building out an inventory tracking system in Quickbase, and even though it’s still in the prototype phase, it’s already clear how much smoother things will be once we fully implement it. Another big challenge was cleaning up data from external submissions, like addresses and emails. We’ve had issues with incomplete or incorrect information, which required a lot of manual cleanup in Excel. With Quickbase, we’re starting to explore ways to automate some of that validation and reduce the amount of cleanup work. Overall, Quickbase has helped us streamline our workflows and start moving toward more automation, which is a big step forward for our small team.

 ### 17. User-Friendly App Building with Strong APIs and Integrations for better data consistency

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Earl Justine d. | IT / Quality Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

The best part about quickbase is how user-friendly and interactive it is to be able to create your own apps and develop ways on how to create records and databases that can rely with one another to ensure data consistency within the whole system. There are multiple APIs/pipelines as well that allow Quickbase to collaborate with other systems.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

I'm just beginning with the whole developing part on the whole so it can get overwhelming to start even with all of the available resources for self-studying and other peers that provide support in giving more wisdom and knowledge.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems quickbase is solving right now for our company would be giving realtime updates on our pending items and records so that we can close them. Communication is a vital key for success in our business to which quickbase is providing. Right now we're working with our partners in quickbase that are very helpful and responsive to help sync that data between both our systems (Quickbase and SAP) to reduce data redundancy and improve data consistency.

 ### 18. Robust Data Management with Room for Reporting Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** cayden b. | Regional Technology Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

What I like most about Quickbase is its mobile layers of complexity that are available but not necessary to utilize it. I think recently, it has made major strides in its reporting capability. Generally speaking, it is easy to adopt and works quickly and effectively to get into the hands of folks who need to use it. The interface and usability make the applications easy to adopt, and it's very easy to initially set up. The ability to implement applications that look similar to prior iterations helps with quick adoption and market.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

I think Quickbase's reporting features have gotten better, but I would like to see additional features added for more complex reporting, especially when there are multiple values associated with a single record that you have to compare and present on a single chart. I've found that formulas being reference fields is not convenient. I think features granted to roles could be more finite and less broad.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase supports data integrity, collection, interconnectivity, and storage. It helps in creating and managing project solutions for operations, capturing productivity metrics, and integrating information with employee workflows effectively.

 ### 19. Mostly Fast, Stable Data Store with UI—But Support and Transparency Need Work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim V H. | Builder, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

If you need a data store with UI. A store you can share with customers and internally. The platform is very fast and stable. There are multiple ways to build the same solution depending on how much time one has to learn the details. The community is supportive and love to come up with a million solutions.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

With proper support this service could be really good. The long term committment it would take is missing a champion capable of understanding humans. Product comes off as impatient and appears to have a different agenda than the customers. This difference leads to a lack of comminucation and transparency and thus confidence. Further, fit and finish falters as things break and no one fixes them claiming end of support (for years). One feels a resistance when talking with employees. Many employees express frustration by the disconnect between leadership and providing quality software. At the cusomer level the dysfunction appears as turbulence, high turnover rate, quota's and deadlines. The result is the Software as a Service model no longer acts like a service for the customer but a struggle. The software is good.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Quickbase mainly to build standardization, communication and transparency within our organization.

 ### 20. There is a learning curve, but once you are familiar with the environment it's a great tool.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew C. | Production Support Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Building relationships is easy, and creating a variety of reports is fairly intuitive. There's a lot of flexibility in database design and options to automate workflows. There are multiple resources within the community, albeit they may not be 1-to-1 for what you need to accomplish. Further, improvements to existing features (e.g. Forms) was a game changer. Release Notes on new products, features, and quality improvements via a centralized 'public' application is now accessible.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Although there's documentation of its features on the corporate website and training modules, you will often find their provided examples rudimentary. If your plan does not include some form of technical support/office hours, you may take hours trying to work out and find a reliable and scalable solution for your database needs. If a product feature has a bug that is impacting your reports or notifications, it could take 5+ weeks for it to be resolved or addressed.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A lot of users build forms to help manage workflows and data entry. The UI has significantly improved, more customization and layouts. New email notification formats and easier pipeline development.

**Official Response from Camille Shortridge:**

> Hi, Matthew; thank you for your review and feedback! We're glad you are enjoying Quickbase and that the recent features we've launched to our forms have been a game changer for you and your teams!

 ### 21. Intuitive Quickbase That Makes Building Apps and Automating Reports Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alan H. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

We find Quickbase intuitive to use, especially as I am not an IT specialist - merely a daily, enthusiastic user.
By experimentation and trial & error, the logic within QB has allowed me to build the apps and databases myself. It's been a great learning process, and has been very successful.
A key feature is that I have been able to automate reports to send to project participants outside of our user group. It certainly beats creating manual reports. That said, it would really help if reports could be sent as attachments instead of being embedded in the email.
I have found it easy to share information and implement dashboards to other users in a secure manner.
QB's customer support is good although I would welcome a "pay as you go" option to assist with minor challenges that only require maybe 10 minutes of assistance.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

I would like to learn how to make the presentation more elegant with images and branding. I suspect this can be done, but would like some of tutorials to be available for this, and indeed for other things. Accessing direct support can be expensive for a small business like ours.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QB allows me to manage a lot of client and project information, and at the same time access it, amend it, and share it easily.

 ### 22. Confident Learning Curve for Creating Custom Reports

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marie B. | EHS Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I use Quickbase to organize and track waste management for several facilities. I am in my tracking logs almost daily. I can not pick just one feature I like the best, there are several. For example, I love how much time I am saving having everything in one place, how easy it is to share with other team members, and having the drop down menu prevents duplications. As well as how easy it is to export to a spreadsheet or email a log to others that are not on the team. Before Quickbase, I had to do a lot of copy/paste from multiple places to create a report. This was time consuming and not a very accurate way to get the numbers so things had to be checked and double checked often. Some reporting could take hours, now, with the customer reports, it is simply choose what is needed by clicking a couple of button, select the date range and its ready to be sent out. I do appreciate how I can click into the reports and it takes me directly to the data behind the numbers. Maybe that is the #1 feature, for today anyway.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

I'm still learning how to create my own reports. This doesn't seem to be very easy for me yet. But I'm sure after I've done it a few more times I will get the hang of it. I have had a chance to customize a few.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase has solved one big problem, preparing monthly reports to management and regulatory agencies. Having everything in one log eliminates keeping multiple logs for different "outputs". Having the options to create custom reports for the same data entry form is a huge timesaver and prevents errors. I am still solving problems as new needs arise we are able to add tables and will continue to improve our tracking capabilities.

 ### 23. Quickbase Centralizes Our Data with Flexible Permissions and Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Autumn S. | Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase makes it easier to manage and track the data we need without having to jump between multiple systems. I like that it centralizes everything in one place, especially for tracking studies, agreements, and invoicing. It’s also flexible enough to adapt to what we need as we grow. For example, we’ve been able to set up permissions so users only see the data relevant to them, which is important since we have multiple sites using the app. The ability to customize forms and automate processes is another big plus—it saves us time and reduces manual work. I also appreciate that Quickbase offers tools like pipelines to help cut down on repetitive data entry.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

So far, I haven’t been able to identify any downsides. They’ve been helpful and responsive.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Quickbase, a lot of our processes were manual and scattered. For example, we had forms that people had to download, fill out, and email back, which was time-consuming and prone to errors. Now, we’re working on automating those forms so the data goes directly into Quickbase, which will save us a lot of back-and-forth. Another challenge was tracking all the details for our studies and agreements across multiple sites. Quickbase helps us centralize that information so it’s easier to manage and pull reports. We’re also looking to integrate Quickbase with QuickBooks to streamline invoicing and reduce the manual work of entering data into multiple systems. Overall, it’s helping us save time, stay organized, and make our processes more efficient.

 ### 24. Flexible CRM small buisness solution that can be self managed

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase is easy to use and simple to set up without the need for specialist services if you are a little bit tech savy. Pipelines allow you to do low code integrations with many outside resouces. The Open API's allow you do make it a central hub for data

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

The lack of "dynamic forms". Too often you need to rely on pipelines for if this then that type actions, some of those actions could be done better in the webforms so that the user does not have to navigate away and wait fo the pipeline. Additionally the relationsship between tables are not as smooth as they could be. It would be great to be able to write advanced sql type queires with multiple joins the create editable data in a more centralized way

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Central hub that integrates will all our systems

**Official Response from Jerry Kleva:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Quickbase. We understand your concern about the base license requirement and the connection options for pipelines in the Teams package. Your feedback is valuable to us and we will take it into account as we continue to enhance our product.

 ### 25. Quickbase has become a mission critical app

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris C. | CIO, Construction, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase has allowed mostly tech-savvy business people to create an application that fits the way we do business. When an "off the rack" system didn't fit, we were able to stitch together our own tailored system.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

We found the mobile use of our Quickbase application to be a little underwhelming. While everything is possible, it does not flow and function nearly well enough to be a robust mobile solution.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cooper Steel has developed a tailored project management application that fits us well as a specialty contractor in the construction space. The ability to automate data integrations between systems via the QB Pipeline component has been huge allowing us to integrate data between our financial platform and HR environments.

 ### 26. Centralized, Well-Organized Data with Easy Reporting and Case Tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karla V. | Case Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I like that we can keep all information about our organization in one centralized location. Everything is well organized by area, and we can easily generate reports and filter data by date or other fields whenever needed. For my part, I can keep my case manager notes neatly organized and track my cases more effectively using different filters, which makes following up with clients much easier.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

I like that it keeps my last-used filters even after I close the tabs.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase is helping us go green by reducing our reliance on paper. Since adopting this platform, we no longer need to keep paper records. I’ve benefited from this because it’s much easier to search through records digitally than to dig through physical documents.

 ### 27. Effective Communication and Customization with Quickbase

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikki D. | Medical Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I love the ability to talk with someone regarding our patients' needs. Quickbase helps with quick communication between the doctor's office and the third party, making it very valuable for keeping up in real time with patients' prescriptions. I enjoy the organization and customization I can do. Working with one provider and being able to see only their patients makes my job easier.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

The only improvement I would ask for is notifications, like if you're still logged in you get a beep to say someone has responded to your message, like a quick chat.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase helps with quick communication between the doctor's office and the third-party, allows real-time tracking of patient prescriptions, and can be customized to view specific provider information, making my job easier.

 ### 28. Quickbase’s Flexible Customization and Dashboards Make Reporting a Breeze

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Siva S. | Associate Director Pre-Sales & Business Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase is flexible and lets us customize solutions around our specific needs. It also offers plenty of built-in dashboards and reporting tools that can be tailored to display data exactly how we want. For instance, we can create user-specific dashboards, track KPI metrics, and use different types of charts to visualize results. It supports integrations with external tools like Power BI when needed, although many of the reporting features we rely on can be handled directly within Quickbase.

Another aspect I appreciate is the ability to share forms with clients so they can fill them out themselves, which reduces manual effort on their side. The fact that these forms are mobile-responsive is especially helpful for teams working on-site.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

We haven’t faced any particular dislikes with Quickbase so far.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Quickbase, we relied heavily on Excel and other manual processes, which were time-consuming and prone to errors. For example, our clients would enter data into spreadsheets and send them to us, and then we would manually process that information to generate reports in Power BI. The whole workflow was inefficient and involved a lot of back-and-forth.

With Quickbase, we’ve been able to streamline this by letting clients enter data directly into the system through forms. That input automatically updates our dashboards and reports in real time, which has significantly reduced manual effort for both our clients and our team. On top of that, Quickbase’s role-based access control helps ensure users only see the data that’s relevant to them, which is especially important when managing projects across different regions. Overall, Quickbase has helped us automate workflows, improve collaboration, and save time.

 ### 29. Customizable Platform That Streamlines Operations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher V. | Associate IT Disaster Recovery Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I like how customizable Quickbase is. We have a unique use case, yet we were able to customize the platform extensively to fit our needs. We built an automated email tracking system on top of the existing platform, which worked wonders for removing admin hours that used to take up a large portion of staff time. It removed the physical barrier for a lot of events when it came to time, allowing us to standardize and automate tasks.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

There could be a better way to track inefficiencies within apps to increase reliability and speed.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase eliminates manual admin work, automating event planning and tracking, saving significant time. It's customizable, fitting unique use cases and improving efficiency with features like our automated email tracking system.

 ### 30. Effortless Communication, Real-Time Improvements Desired

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aleshia C. | Medical Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I like the most that I can communicate via a portal instead of having to be on the phone with someone every day. The things I enjoy the most or work well are the quick responses from the other party involved. It was very easy to set up Quickbase. Once we got in, I was able to walk myself through how to use the system.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Honestly, I wish it was more real-time. Like if someone responds to a message you sent, you get notified as soon as it was updated.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Quickbase to handle prior auth activities, manage paperwork, and communicate with pharmacies efficiently through a portal, saving me from daily phone calls. It ensures quick responses from the other party involved.

 ### 31. I am Revenue Analyst with over 8 years of experience and using quick base for more than 6 years.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Recently I checked email notifications options while I was preparing report for one my customers and records were used by multiple people on the same reports any changes to records required closed monitoring this we decided to go the email notifications options and it's working really well.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

I think bringing ai into it would greatly enhance its full capacity. Example simple prompt of I want to do would help me write code in the background and after 2-3 iteration I have something meaningful ready and I don't have to anywhere or to take help of someone who experienced in doing so.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I often faced challenges preparing multiple reports manually every day, it was really time-consuming and tedious. Quickbase allowed me to create all reports on a single Dashboard screen using various filters in the background. Downloading a CSV file and copy-pasting those details in the mail saved me a lot of time.

**Official Response from Jerry Kleva:**

> We're glad to hear that you are enjoying the dashboard feature and finding it helpful for preparing multiple reports. We understand the importance of seamless integration with other applications, and we are continuously working to improve our integration capabilities. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we will take it into consideration for future enhancements.

 ### 32. An eye-opening experience to fill your mind with clever ideas and to learn more about the platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

The ability to customize information and capabilities throughout the business, and tailored to a widely dispersed employment base. Always accurate and dependable.

Our company depends on the QB platform for everyday use, I don't know where we would be without it.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

The helpdesk. More often than not, when a case is submitted, it takes a long time for the support after the first interaction. I recently had a scenario where I published an updated app from the sandbox, but I could not find any documentation on migrating the sandbox pipeline to the production app. The person had to go research it themselves. A day or more when by and I finally figured it out on my own and let the tech know.

I simply felt that the pipeline helpdesk crew should have known the process or point me in the correct direction - they did not.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time !! if we are observing a situation that has become time consuming, we will figure out a way to automate it. If we can do it manually on computers, it can be automated through QB

 ### 33. Simple for End Users, Powerful Dashboards and Customization in Quickbase

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stuart M. | Plant Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase works for us because it’s simple for the end users. That’s the most important thing when you’ve got people of different ages and varying levels of aptitude using the system. If it’s too complicated, it’s hard to get buy-in and get it off the ground. Quickbase is easy to use and quick to implement, which is what we needed. While it’s simple to use on the surface, the system itself is quite complex in the background, allowing us to do a lot with formulas and dashboards. We’ve been able to mould it to suit our needs, and the dashboards have been very useful for reporting.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

The format is very basic when it comes to printing documents.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Quickbase, everything was done on paper: pre-user operator checks, defect reporting, all of it. Moving to Quickbase has digitized those processes, and the benefits have been clear. The turnaround time for reporting and addressing faults or defects is much faster now. For example, during a recent audit on work equipment, I demonstrated how we use Quickbase for checks and defect reporting. The auditor was impressed, even taking screenshots of the system during the demonstration. We ended up with a 100% pass rate, the first time that’s ever happened, and the auditor said it was the best audit they’d ever had. That’s a direct result of how Quickbase has helped us streamline and improve our processes.

 ### 34. Easy App Creation, Reliable Integrations, and Responsive Customer Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

The different options for app creation are generally helpful to have some variance in pathways to handle data. I like attending the presentations on what is being worked on as it makes it pretty clear that Quickbase is interested in improving the overall user experience.
The daily use is easy and implementing new reports are easy more often than not. We don't do a lot of integration where I'm at, but the entire start of the revenue process is initiated through integration and it works consistently. The few times I have used Customer Support, they were quick to answer my questions and were able to provide good information that I needed to get the best possible understanding of a new function.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

I suspect that our company is starting to grow too large for Quickbase to handle all of the data that we have. It's more of a small business data management than what our business currently is evolving into. So it can be super slow and crash a fair amount when dealing with larger data sets. I often have to refresh the browser for all of the features to re-populate. It can be extremely slow using custom built calendars and forecasting management applications. Most employees use it daily, and we have a lot of data, so I think it's doing the best it can. Currently, there are not useful ways our company can use Quickbase AI because no confidential information can be used in there per the Quickbase AI information page and confirmation with Quickbase Help. There is a pretty big discrepancy with that because in some of the presentations, the speakers are telling people that it's ok to use confidential information with Quickbase AI, but that's not the case. There should be clear alignment so users' information isn't subject to vulnerabilities.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It works well as a data and revenue management tool. We have complex contracts and are able to manage them pretty well through different applications and tables to get the best possible metrics on the data.

 ### 35. Centralized and User-Friendly, Slight Performance Lags

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I really like how user-friendly Quickbase is. It allows for automated workflows and centralizes everything in one place, so we don't have to deal with messy spreadsheets anymore. Using Quickbase saves a lot of time and reduces manual errors. The centralized data feature has been one of the biggest advantages for us. Before Quickbase, information was scattered across multiple Excel files, shared drives, and emails, making it hard to keep track of updates or know which is correct. With Quickbase, everything lives in one place, so the whole team is always looking at the most up-to-date information.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

I experience speed and responsiveness issues when working with larger datasets in Quickbase. Sometimes the page takes ages to load or refresh, especially when multiple users are updating records at the same time.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Quickbase to manage workflows more easily, saving time, reducing manual errors, and eliminating messy spreadsheets. It centralizes data, which keeps my team updated with accurate information and avoids the hassle of manual entry we had with Excel.

 ### 36. Quickbase: Simple Database Building with Powerful Automations and Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

The most helpful thing about Quickbase is its simplicity when creating databases. Compared to other tools, Quickbase makes it really easy to create lookup fields from child to parent and even in the opposite direction. It is a very user-friendly platform with great automation and integration capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

The only downside is that you become dependent on those automations, and some integrations require code, for which there isn’t much flexibility within Quickbase. Quickbase is excellent for small to medium-sized companies that need to handle day-to-day processes. For more complex needs or large-scale operations, however, it may cause some problems, as they require more customization (code).

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase helps us track some of our main processes with simplicity and a user-friendly environment. Our business often requires updates to our processes, architecture, and integrations, and Quickbase helps us adapt to all of these changes very easily.

 ### 37. Quickbase Centralizes Project Data with Flexible Dashboards and Native Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase is a tool that allows us to centralize and manage a lot of our project data in one place. One of the things I appreciate is how it captures all the data we need for our projects, like overviews, current activities, requirements, scorecards, risks, and more. It’s flexible enough that we’ve been able to create dashboards and forms that fit our needs, even though we’ve had to manipulate them a bit to make them more presentation-ready. I also like that Quickbase has native tools for document generation and email functionality, which we’ve been using to streamline some of our processes. The ability to integrate with other tools and potentially consolidate everything into one platform is a big draw for us.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Limited charts at the moment for data analysis, but I am sure the Quickbase team are working on additional ones in the future. More output capabilities for the data and dashboards especially in a PowerPoint format.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Quickbase, we struggled with scattered data and manual processes that made it hard to manage projects efficiently. For example, we had to create PowerPoint slides separately, upload them into Quickbase, and then link them back to dashboards. This was time-consuming and created duplicate efforts. Reporting was another challenge because getting dashboards into a shareable format like PDFs was clunky and left a lot of blank spaces. With Quickbase, we’ve been able to centralize much of our project management data and create dashboards that give us a clearer view of project statuses. We’ve also used its document generation tools to create forms and reports that look more polished and are easier to share. While there’s still room for improvement, like better native support for PowerPoint or more seamless Gantt chart printing, Quickbase has helped us reduce some of the manual work and inefficiencies we faced before. It’s also opened up possibilities for integrating more of our processes into one platform, which is something we’re actively exploring.

 ### 38. Streamlines Workflow with Intuitive Forms

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I use various apps in Quickbase for procurement, plant inspection, and employee records, and I find it simplifies everything that needs a form-like interaction. Quickbase lets the next person know when it's their turn to step in, keeping things moving smoothly. I like that you can make really straightforward apps, which are easy to use and don't take a lot of training for an end user. I've mostly used the forms function, which helps make the ordering process easy with streamlined and detailed interaction with the procurement team. Additionally, we received support from their team, which made setting up Quickbase easy.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

The apps I use are dialed in to our needs, so as far as my interaction goes with Quickbase, there are no current issues.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase simplifies form interactions, records details, supports search in past submissions, and streamlines the ordering process with the procurement team.

 ### 39. Intuitive and Adaptable, Perfect for Educators

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I like that I can edit the information of a group of students at the same time using the grid edit function of Quickbase. I also appreciate that it is an adaptable system, which allows me to make changes easily when necessary. The initial setup was super easy because Quickbase is intuitive and very easy to learn.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

The view of some tables could be more user-friendly. I would like you to improve them by making it possible to see all the information on a single page or by making them more colorful.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At my job, we use Quickbase every day to efficiently manage student information, easily accessing their profiles. It allows me to edit data for multiple students simultaneously, which makes my job easier. This system allows us to have all the student data in one place so that we can all access it.

 ### 40. User-Friendly Interface with Excessive Notifications

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zephaniah P. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I like that Quickbase has a user interface that's pretty simple to navigate. I also like how the webpages are organized, making it easy to review order details. It's great that I can easily see the reports, whether they're waiting for approval or need warehouse tracking and shipping information. Plus, I can quickly access details about who placed the order, when, and how much each item is worth. Setting up Quickbase was also very easy.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

I do not like the amount of email notifications for reports. I wish there were less, maybe just two: one for the front half of the week and another for the back half of the week to track ordering and shipping statuses. I would like to receive less material release email reports.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Quickbase for ordering parts, reviewing orders, and arranging shipping. The interface is simple, making it easy to navigate and review order details.

 ### 41. All-in-One App with Every Feature We Need

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maridel M. | L2 Associate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

For my company, I like this app because it has a lot of features. Pretty much everything we need is here, so we don’t have to access another app. Our payroll logins are here, our work tracker is here, and we can also use it for coaching logs, appraisal logs, plotting OT, and even creating tickets for our company IT. Having all of these in one app brings a lot of benefits for us employees.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Sometimes the app runs slowly, which affects our productivity and overall experience. In my case, I also keep having problems logging in, and I’m not sure why.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right now, they are asking for a code every month.

 ### 42. Flexible, Easy-to-Use Platform That Scales as You Grow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase is flexible and easy to use, even for someone like me who doesn’t have a coding background. I’ve been able to learn the system and build apps that meet our needs without needing deep technical expertise. The platform allows me to tweak and optimize based on what I’ve learned over time, which is helpful as our priorities shift. I also appreciate the training resources, like Quickbase University and the AI tools, which make it easier to build and improve apps. The ability to ask the system to create something and then refine it has been a big plus for me. It’s also great that Quickbase can scale with us as we grow and take on new use cases.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

There are some features that do require more technical experience and sometimes the resolution time on requests is longer than I would have anticipated. But generally speaking, this is not the case.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Quickbase, we didn’t have a centralized system to manage all the events we produce globally across various divisions. Our organization is very segmented, and data was scattered across different teams and systems. Quickbase has helped us pull all of our events into one database, which has been critical for exporting data to other teams across the organization and for feeding into tools like Power BI and even our internal AI program. It’s streamlined processes that were previously manual and time-consuming.

We’ve also used Quickbase to create a work order system that replaces email-based processes, making it easier for people to submit requests and track progress. Another benefit is the ability to onboard new team members quickly and get them up to speed with the apps we’ve built. As we continue to grow and align as a global organization, Quickbase is becoming a key tool for tying together operations and improving efficiency.

 ### 43. Seamless Portal Management, Exceptional Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wendy S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I really appreciate the ease of creating the app for our clients with QuickBase. The staff at QuickBase was very knowledgeable and helpful, even bringing their own ideas to assist us in creating certain workflows that we needed. They made the process very easy. The team continued to be supportive even with ongoing changes needed after the app was created. The fact that the app had a strong starting point was also very beneficial.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

For what we use this application for, the acceptable volume of medical records could be larger.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Quickbase for our customer portal, allowing clients to log in, send referrals, and manage every aspect from receiving to delivering a final report. It simplifies creating apps and workflows, making it very easy with a helpful, knowledgeable staff.

 ### 44. Fast Prototyping, but Needs Better Engineering Tools

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam V. | Senior Engineering Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I like how Quickbase makes it easy to stand up stuff really quickly and get it into users' hands fast. The rapid prototyping ability is really great, and I appreciate how I can interact with it through pipelines and its query API. It's good for quickly standing up apps for our internal teams and iterating on them by getting user feedback. Also, the integration with custom software and other Quickbase applications is helpful.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

As a software engineer, I find that Quickbase breaks a lot of traditional software engineering rules, which is frustrating. For instance, you can't declare variables at the top of a pipeline and share them throughout, which I don't like. The UI could use a lot of work, especially in accessing logs and seeing how things ran. It's a painful process to sift through busy pipelines with every single step showing up, which is time-consuming. More traditional logging and the ability to search logs would be wonderful, especially when looking for specific IDs. Finally, the Solutions API is a very useful addition and I hope you continue to grow its capabilities. We have 4 environments (DEV, BETA, DEMO, and PROD) and being able to promote from one environment to another is a big help vs. by hand, but there are many more things that would be valuable there. For instance, being able to promote the ENTIRE app (schema, pipelines, and codepages) while mapping environment specific values from one environment to the next would be great. Also the ability to quickly standup a new environment and then merge its changes into another would be huge for teams of multiple developers (i.e. simulate branches in SCM tools like Git) so that multiple people can be working on a single release that will then be promoted to the next environment.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Quickbase helps us quickly set up tools for our operations team, sharing data seamlessly using pipelines and query APIs. It allows rapid prototyping, and the ease of standing up new integrations is valuable for connecting our custom apps.

 ### 45. Quickbase Streamlines Project Tracking and Keeps Everything Centralized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonahs G. | Project Manager, Integrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase makes it easier to keep track of daily progress on our projects. We’re able to log in and see exactly how much work has been done, like how many documents have been entered, and that helps us answer client questions quickly. It’s also helpful that Quickbase lets us upload our final product into file storage, so everything is organized and accessible. The ability to work remotely and still have everything centralized in Quickbase is a big plus for us.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Before Quickbase, we were doing everything in Excel, and it was hard to see day-to-day progress from our contractors. If a client called asking for an update, we’d have to dig through files manually, which took time. Now, with Quickbase, we can track daily progress and see exactly where things stand. It’s also helped us streamline how we manage our title reports, which are complex and involve a lot of moving parts. Quickbase has made it easier to keep everything connected and organized, from the run sheets to the mineral chains and leasehold chains. It’s not perfect yet, but it’s a step forward in making our workflow more efficient and transparent.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase is solving our lack of real-time visibility, fragmented data, and manual reporting. Previously, project status, document counts, and contractor activity had to be tracked across spreadsheets and emails, which made it difficult to answer time-sensitive questions, forecast workload, and ensure consistency. With Quickbase, our data is centralized and structured, so we can see progress at a granular level, standardize workflows, and maintain a clear audit trail from source documents to final deliverables. This improves turnaround time, reduces manual errors, and allows us to give faster, more accurate updates while managing remote teams more effectively. It also helps with accountability, resource planning, and identifying bottlenecks early, which leads to more predictable timelines and better overall operational efficiency.

 ### 46. Enhanced Workflow with Seamless Customization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I like how customizable Quickbase is to meet my company's needs and how easy it is to do it. I don't have to call and wait for customer service to reach back out, I can just do it myself. The amount of setup time and implementation time was clearly communicated and was met by the Quickbase team. They also encouraged and helped onboard employees throughout the whole process. Quickbase has made life a lot easier by streamlining the ordering and approval processes through our 300 farms and 100 Orderers and Approvers. It has cut down multiple hours of our Accounting team trying to track down approvals. We are now importing scheduling using AI and preset customized templates, which means our HR team no longer has to manually make schedules.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

I find controlling what users are allowed to request to see challenging. I would prefer if we could lock down a certain section so they wouldn't even know they can request to use it.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase streamlines our ordering and approval processes across 300 farms, reducing hours for the Accounting team, and simplifies our scheduling by integrating old spreadsheets with AI-imported templates, saving our HR team more time.

 ### 47. Quickbase Centralizes Our Data and Streamlines Operations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yinzu N. | Director of Family Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase has been a good fit for us because it allows us to track and manage a lot of different types of data in one place. We started using it in 2021, and it’s been helpful for keeping everything digital, especially after the pandemic when we moved away from paper records. I like that it’s flexible and customizable, so we can adapt it to our needs. For example, we’ve been able to use it for tracking attendance, inventory, and even gift cards by scanning barcodes. It’s also nice that it works well across different teams and departments, which is important for us since we have a lot of moving parts.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Before Quickbase, we had to rely on paper records for everything, which was time-consuming and inefficient. Even after moving to digital records, we were still printing forms for signatures and then scanning them back into the system, which felt like a waste of time and resources. With Quickbase, we’ve been able to keep all our enrollment and intake forms digital, which saves us a lot of extra work and paper.

Another challenge was tracking attendance and services. Right now, teachers manually mark attendance on weekly sheets, and we don’t have a way to track when clients enter or leave the building. Quickbase has helped us start exploring solutions for these issues, like using barcodes or QR codes to track check-ins and check-outs. It’s also helped us manage inventory, like tracking the distribution of diapers or gift cards.

Overall, Quickbase has made it easier to centralize our data and streamline processes. It’s not perfect, and there are still things we’re working on, like making sure new features are user-friendly for everyone, but it’s been a solid tool for organizing and managing our operations.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralize our data and streamline processes

 ### 48. Effective Yet Expensive Tool for Project Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Debbie T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I like how Quickbase is easy for people to use, making it accessible for everyone involved. The role-based permissions are a big plus, as they let organizations share data with the right people while keeping it secure from others who shouldn't have access. I also appreciate the reporting features, which provide valuable insights and help manage our projects effectively.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Quickbase is too expensive and raises prices too much too frequently

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase solves issues like bad data, slow processes, late projects, and high costs. It allows data sharing through role-based permissions, making it easy to use while providing effective reporting.

 ### 49. Efficient Inventory Management, Needs Navigation Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I like Quickbase because it's pretty easy to use. Having tables to visualize data and being able to easily link information to other information is very useful to me. It helps me manage all my inventory in one place without needing a bunch of different spreadsheets.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Quickbase opens a lot of different tabs depending on what I click, which can get annoying. Also, sometimes when I want to go back to the previous page, the breadcrumb doesn't show correctly and I have to go all the way back to the homepage.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Quickbase to manage device inventory in one place, eliminating the need for multiple spreadsheets. I can also easily tag team members in notes about students, which eliminates the need of me sending an email on top of writing the note.

 ### 50. Developer's Dream Sandbox with Robust Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shane M. | QuickBase Developer | SQL Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I like that Quickbase is like a giant sandbox. I enjoy the fact that if you can articulate an idea, it can most likely be built or solutioned in Quickbase. There are a lot of controls for the developer, such as code pages, formula fields, restructuring of tables, pipelines, etc.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Tracking where elements of Quickbase are used is lacking. For example, if I want to know where a report is used (perhaps embedded, perhaps referenced in a formula, etc) I can't get a good understanding of this unless I know from memory or do a deep dive into formula fields and form elements. I look forward to an easy dev, test, and production environment built into Quickbase.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I build full-scale applications, dashboards, and reports. Quickbase is a giant sandbox with many developer controls like code pages and pipelines. You can build almost anything you can think of.
