"Useful for no-code, but very expensive for multiple users"
What do you like best about Quickbase?

The real reason we use Quickbase is for no-code data management and pipelines. If I got hit by a bus, my team might be able to figure out Quickbase, but would be lost with a standard solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

Quickbase is very expensive. If my team were more "up-to-date" with modern data solutions, we would be using open source tools and building our own UI for them, because the development cost would quickly pay for itself, compared to Quickbase.

Quickbase's computing started bottlenecking, around the same time as the FastField integrations (I don't remember the exact timeline). Forms seem to load slower, and transactions to the db seem to take slightly longer to complete. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jerry Kleva of Quickbase

We appreciate your feedback on Quickbase's no-code data management and pipelines. We understand your concerns about the cost and performance issues. We are constantly working to improve our platform and offer competitive pricing. Your input is valuable to us as we strive to provide the best experience for our users.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

Scrolling through large data tables can sometimes experience formatting issues, resulting in the need to refresh the page or hide columns in order to see/edit the fields in question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent, low-code option for collecting and reporting on data"
What do you like best about Quickbase?

Quickbase makes our processes and data workflows seamless - with its low-code format and straightforward interface, we are able to start collecting and reporting on data quickly and efficiently. We use QuickBase for a variety of business processes related to maintenance, asset protection & corporate security, and workplace safety - we use it as a backend for several third party applications, and supplement data collection with its easy-to-use forms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

Quickbase is not always intuitive, and while there are plenty of trainings, they are not always available in the most current version of the software. Constant site improvements are amazing, but make keeping the trainings up to date more difficult. Recent updates to Pipelines have been buggy and resulted in outages that, while infrequent, are frustrating nevertheless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I love Quickbase!"
What do you like best about Quickbase?

Quickbase is a great program! I am self-taught and with all of the resources available from the company, and the discussion forum, I've been able to do accomplish some pretty advanced processes within a very short period of time. There are so many things it can do that I've barely even touched! The integration with Pipelines for automated emails is helping our organization so much! I love the option for role specification and customization for different workgroups who all need various pieces of information from each app. Everyone in our organization is able to use it and just needs to be added, so we've been able to implement the apps across our organizaiton so seamlessly. Quickbase has honestly made a huge difference in our workflow for the best! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

The only downside I can think of is having a very specific coding format that is a little more complicated to learn. But once I understand what each piece means, it gets easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quickbase is continually transforming our business by continually transforming theirs!"
What do you like best about Quickbase?

The usability for the average user. Quickbase enables all users to become skilled in leveraging their data to improve productivity and they use it constantly. Speed to production is amazing and the way that it integrates with many of our existing systems makes it a popular platform in our organization. Quickbase has become very popular because it is easy for users to create great solutions that can be easily implemented. From an administrative standpoint, Quickbase support is outstanding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

As users become more familiar with quickbase they think they can do ANYTHING! All platforms have limitations but Quikbase has made our users feel like we can do anything and the expectations from leadership can be daunting! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jerry Kleva of Quickbase

Thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear that Quickbase has become a popular platform in your organization due to its usability and integration capabilities. We understand the challenges of managing user expectations and we're continuously working to improve the platform.

"Great Customization - Integration Options are limited without full custom (expensive) API"
What do you like best about Quickbase?

Very easy to customize and build with even a small amount of coding knowledge. It can be done without coding knowledge but you would need QB rapid development team for formulas and pipelines if you don't have it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

Logging off data/edits is unneccessarily complex. You have to build a custom rule and log it to a field for each individual field. The audit log says things were changed, but even if the field in question is tracked it is incredibly difficult to find what was changed and by whom when you need it.

The table structure is a little weird to get used to initially. Many to many table relationships seem unneccessarily complex to roll out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"New Quickbase User"
What do you like best about Quickbase?

The system is fairly easy to get aquainted with. There are great; free online resources at Quickbase University. I love the versitility of the platform. If you can think of it, you can probably do it in quickbase. I also like the ease of use and the UI for building apps. There are also a ton of integration options pending your companies availibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

There is a bit of a learning curve pending on what you would like to build. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jerry Kleva of Quickbase

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Quickbase. We understand that there may be a learning curve for some users, and we continuously work on improving our onboarding and support resources to address this.

"From Start-Up to a Small Medium Enterprise"
What do you like best about Quickbase?

QuickBase is a blank sheet where you can create your own path and establish the processes according to your convinience.

It is very usefull for businesses that are constantly changing and lookIing for

continuous improvement as it allows to build new features, visualizations and automations.

We implemented it ourselves, in-house, using the QuickBase University, and 50 hours of QuickBase technical support. A team of two was enough to build the tool used everyday for 100 workers in different roles within the company. The response of customer support is quick enough to solve any issue.

It has native integration with QuickBooks (among others) so that enables to connect the operations with the financials of the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

We have experienced several crashes from the platform wich where not associated to errors of us.

The salesman promissed much more than what the contract actually included.

The contract doesn't adapt to the flexibility of our business. We would like to pay monthly for the ammount of users we have that month, but instead we have to sign an annual contract for the ammount of users extra we are going to have, and there is no way of reducing the amount of users. "The Management Tool for Straight Forward Business"
What do you like best about Quickbase?

Great way to share information with team members without getting lost in bells and whistles. I also appreciate the ability to access multiple tools needed based on the two different teams I work with. Different hats use different tools and you make them easy to go between.

I'm also LOVING the updated location of the tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

Find it a little clunky to format what I need. Would love it to have better/easier integration with my Google Calendar for my tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jerry Kleva of Quickbase

We're glad to hear that Quickbase is making it easy for you to share information and access multiple tools for your different teams. We appreciate your feedback about formatting and integration with Google Calendar, and we will take it into consideration for future improvements.

"Powerful and user friendly low code data base and reporting tool"
What do you like best about Quickbase?

Flexibility and ease of creation of both data entry forms and reporting tools. Additionally offers a lot of powerful tools that take it beyond other low code database solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

The basic features are truly low code and can be used without much training. However it is a very mature product and the more powerful features are beyond a standard low code solution and require a decent training for not tech knowledgable people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
