As VP of sales, I need to track partnerships and see where deals are at. Quickbase lets me set up pipelines the way our team works, not the other way around. Getting started takes more time than I expected. You really have to think through your whole setup before you build or you'll end up redoing things. I handle lots of Blockchain Technologies projects, so I got a lot of pilots running at the same time. What I liked was how I could build my own tracking app without waiting on IT. The dashboards show me where each project stands and I get alerts when something falls behind. What do you dislike about Quickbase? Setting up some of the automations was more of a challenge. I'm not a developer and linking tables together took me a few tries to get right. What I liked most was how the dashboards made it obvious that our projects weren't actually behind, it was the approvals process holding everything up. I work as a Strategy & Portfolio Advisor so I deal with a lot of moving parts. We always thought we needed more integrations, but turns out we just couldn't see the bottlenecks before. "All Compliance Tracking in One Place." 3.5/5 What do you like best about Quickbase? For me the best part is having all our compliance tracking in one spot finally. Before this I had like six different spreadsheets going and it was getting ridiculous trying to keep everything straight. Now I can pull up dashboards and see where each audit finding stands without digging through emails. We didn't plan enough before we started building projects and we had to go back and redo some things which wasted time. The system can drag a bit when you're working with larger datasets too and it gets annoying when you're rushing to get reports done. Quickbase helps us keep everything in one place. I like that I can build forms and workflows without coding. For example, when we update a policy, I made a workflow that makes each regional team check off compliance steps before it moves forward. I manage policy projects across different regions. What do you dislike about Quickbase? Setting it up took longer than I expected. You really have to plan everything out before you start building, and we definetly missed a few things early on. Some of the automation features are not that easy to figure out either. The interface could be cleaner too, especially when you have multiple apps open. It's not terrible but it could be better. Before Quickbase we used multiple tools to track policy rollouts, which obviously didn't worked in our favor. Someone would forget to update a status or we'd have different versions of the same document. Now everything is in one system. If a region hasn't completed a step, the workflow keeps it in draft mode until they do. This has saved us a lot of back and forth struggle. Our team actually trusts the data now. I like that I don't have to wait on our dev team for every little thing. I work as a Research Analyst and we got a lot of small projects and experiments going on. Quickbase lets me throw together a tracking app pretty fast. I can add forms, set up some basic automations, and share it with my team within a day or two. The storage gets eaten up quick with attachments and documents we upload for our R&D projects. I ran into this problem a few times where I had to delete old files just to make room for the new ones. Like last quarter we ran this promo in a few cities and I could see live how each one was doing while playing the role of a growth product manager. Made it easy to shift budget to the cities that were working. I also built a simple app to track all our ops requests because before that stuff was just getting lost in Slack. Sometimes I can't find reports I made a few weeks ago because everything is buried in menus. Everything used to live in different places. One spreadsheet for sign ups, another for promo codes, ops had their own tracking. Things fell through the cracks all the time and I'd spend hours at the end of each week trying to piece it together. Now it's all in one spot. When we launch something new I just log it and the automations kick in. Less mistakes, less back and forth and I actually have time to think about strategy instead of cleaning up data.
