It displays too much information and makes it harder than it needs to be to view the information you want to view. It is incredibly difficult to customize. I have dozens of columns and I need to use like 3-4. If I hid all of the columns that I did not want to use they would all come back if I was to refresh or leave the page. PDFs that were uploaded to QB could be intergrated better into the app. You should be able to view a PDF within a window in QB. If I wanted to view a PDF in QB I had to download it and as a result I had to download the same PDF multiple times, which cluttered my downloads folder. We have had a lot of success building our operations platform, but over time we outgrew the systems. Allowed us to be a problem. It should not take DAYS to enter an order no matter the industry, no matter the way you are trying to convey the information.In 20 years I have never had a program I despised this much. Typically I am the one who masters software & teaches the team. I've been here 4 months & thought of quitting over this system alone more than once a month: it is clunky, unforgiving & incredibly messy, it takes several steps to bundle up an order by vendor and it goes back to being messy when you are done if you make one wrong move you have to reorganize. It was easy to get started and onboard people into the application. My non-technical team members can create their own views that match their specific needs. When we signed up years ago it was relatively cheap and you could pay per user. Now is two factors, two decimal places are more expensive and you have to buy blocks of user licenses. I am desperately looking for an alternative, and I will leave the first chance I get. When your database gets too big you can't export it using the built-in tools, you have to build your own using there API. There API has limits that prevent exporting the entire database in a single day, so you need to build tools with rate limiting in it. Primarily the expensive is my biggest issues, its thousand of dollars a month for even 2 users to use. Would not recommend Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. In general, once you understand databases, working with Quickbase is relatively easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Quickbase? The people that design it must not use it or understand how people actually use it. It's severely limiting in its capability, especially offline. Dashboards, reports and forms can barely be customized. The only way we've gotten data to be presentable or useful is to export the data to other platforms. But the worst part is that their product development team is years behind what they have promised and their team that fixes known issues is non-existent. I like that it can be access almost anywhere. The software is very light and uses small amounts of data to load. User friendly and can be easily navigate even for first time users. What I hate about quickbase is that it tends to be very unreliable especially when being use by multiple users all at the same time because the loading speed is unacceptable. As of now there is more problems being created than solving, I like the way they tend to innovate the software how ever they should be focusing more on the processing speed of the app rather than adding more functions and features that will add up with the current problem. For now I can't say any benefit I'm getting from it because instead of saving a lot of time, it is being wasted on waiting for it to load and see if your clocked in and out pushes through or not.
