## Quickbase Reviews
 ### 1. Making Our Workflows Simpler with Quickbase

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhishek V. | Software Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I like most about Quickbase is the flexibility. At Cares, we use it to support a workflow where users can submit information, sign documents, upload files, and complete validations, with everything automatically updated in the right Quickbase record. It also works well with our custom application and external APIs, which makes it easy to fit into our existing process.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

The main thing is that some customization can take a little time to figure out. When building more specific workflows or integrations, you sometimes need extra configuration to get exactly the behavior you want. But overall, the flexibility makes it worth it.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase helps us manage the whole request process in one place. At Cares, users can submit information, sign documents, upload files, and complete required validations, while the results are automatically saved to the correct record. This reduces manual work, keeps information organized, and makes the process easier to track.

 ### 2. How We Built a Custom E-Signature Workflow on Top of Quickbase

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roxana C. | Solution Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase works as the backbone for a custom e-signature solution we built for YSL. Since it doesn't support signing natively, we built a .NET Web API triggered through Pipelines. Quickbase sends a JSON payload with the PDF, signer info, placeholder mappings, and sign positions from our File, Users, and File Field tables. Our API generates signing links, and once signed, uploads the document to SharePoint using config from that same request. Quickbase isn't signing anything itself, but it structures the data cleanly and fires reliable pipelines, making it the real control center for a workflow it wasn't built for.

Performance has held up well even with this custom layer on top. Pipelines fire reliably on record updates, and passing structured JSON hasn't caused delays, since the heavy lifting happens in our own API. We just had to keep our File and Users tables clean so sign position and placeholder data pull correctly every time. Once that was sorted, things ran smoothly even as usage scaled.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

The main limitation is no native e-signature or document processing, so we had to build an entire external API instead of handling it inside the platform. Passing nested data like placeholders and coordinates through Pipeline JSON took some trial and error, since documentation on this isn't very deep. Permissions across multiple tables also got tricky with different teams needing different visibility.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase solved the problem of having no central system to manage signing data across files, signers, and templates. Now it triggers our custom API automatically whenever a request is needed, removing manual PDF handling and errors in placeholder replacement, and making SharePoint filing automatic. The result is a fully automated, traceable signing pipeline that saves time and reduces errors.

 ### 3. Flexible, Custom Workflows That Grow With Us

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael S. | Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase gives us the flexibility to build workflows that match how we actually work, not the other way around. I like that we can create processes that are tailored to our needs, whether it's managing bids, tracking inventory, or handling purchase orders. The ability to customize forms, automate steps, and add logic to buttons has been a big help in keeping things organized and user-friendly. For example, we’ve been able to set up workflows that guide our sales team through the pipeline, ensuring they follow the right steps without overcomplicating things. It’s also great that we can make changes as we grow or refine our processes. The system doesn’t feel rigid, which is important for us as we expand and bring on new people. The support we've received in building our application has made this a good investment. The support we've received in building our application has made this a good investment. The support we've received in building our application has made this a good investment. The support we've received in building our application has made this a good investment.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Need to invest a bit of time building the app from the ground up, but helps you think through what your company needs are

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Quickbase, we had a lot of manual processes and workarounds that weren’t consistent or scalable. For example, tracking bids and proposals used to be a bit of a mess. Sales would skip steps or submit incomplete information, which caused delays for operations. With Quickbase, we’ve set up workflows that make sure all the necessary information is filled out before something moves forward. If something’s missing, it stays in a draft status, so it doesn’t create more work downstream. This has helped us cut down on back-and-forth and keeps everyone on the same page.

 ### 4. Flexible Low-Code Platform for Custom Business Applications

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** sachin s. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

What I like most is how flexible Quickbase is. We use it to build custom applications, dashboards, and workflows without having to spend a lot of time on traditional development. It gives us real-time visibility into our projects and assets, and it’s straightforward to create reports or dashboards tailored to different teams. The ability to automate repetitive tasks using Pipelines has also saved us a lot of manual effort and reduced the amount of routine work we have to do.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

There’s definitely a learning curve when you first start working with advanced formulas, Pipelines, and custom code pages. Some UI customization still requires HTML, CSS, or JavaScript, and debugging API integrations can take a bit of time. Aside from those points, the platform has been reliable and has worked well for our use cases.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Quickbase to manage operational data, asset tracking, project information, and support requests all in one place. Before we adopted it, our information was scattered across multiple spreadsheets and separate systems. Now our teams have a single source of truth, supported by real-time dashboards, automated workflows, and stronger reporting. As a result, we’ve reduced manual effort and improved visibility across projects.

 ### 5. Quickbase Delivers Real Value for Our Customers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyson R. | Associate Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

The ease of use. Our customers are reluctant when we initially suggest it, but that changes after we demonstrate it to them.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

The learning curve can be a challenge for some.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of our customers met an official from another university where their Student Affairs department was providing great services to their student community by deploying a product called Salesforce. They are having great success with it so our customer asked us to give them feedback on it.
We immediately began comparing Quickbase and Salesforce. Since both platforms are customizable low-code/no-code platforms for higher education operations, we argued that Quickbase can match nearly all Salesforce use cases we researched, including data management, FERPA-sensitive access controls, case tracking, student engagement tools, automated notifications, reporting dashboards, and document workflows.
Our core conclusion was that Quickbase could provide comparable functionality to Salesforce while offering a faster, lower-cost, and more flexible implementation path for a university student affairs environment.
Key Takeaways
	•	Platform capability: Quickbase can replicate Salesforce-style data structures through customizable tables, workflows, role-based permissions, dashboards, and integrations.
	•	Security and compliance: The platform can support FERPA-sensitive workflows through granular access controls and role-based visibility.
	•	Operational efficiency: Quickbase can centralize case management, staff activity tracking, referrals, conduct tracking, and workload reporting.
	•	Student-facing workflows: Quickbase can support portals, roster management, automated notifications, mobile access, and document/e-signature processes.
	•	No-code advantage: Existing spreadsheets can be converted into applications more quickly, reducing dependence on specialized developers, administrators, or consultants.

Financial Savings Highlight
The report we provided to our customer identifies financial efficiency as one of Quickbase’s strongest advantages. Salesforce implementations can require:
	•	Significant annual licensing costs
	•	Expensive third-party consulting
	•	Specialized administrator training
	•	Longer implementation timelines
	•	Ongoing technical support overhead

By contrast, Quickbase is positioned as a more cost-effective no-code alternative that can replace disconnected spreadsheets and potentially avoid the need for multiple high-cost management systems. Our report notes that Quickbase case studies show the platform replacing systems costing $100,000 or more at a fraction of the cost.
The most important savings opportunities are:
1	Reduced licensing expense compared with enterprise Salesforce deployments.
2	Lower consulting costs because internal staff can build and modify applications.
3	Faster deployment, reducing project timelines from months or years to days or weeks.
4	Lower administrative burden because Quickbase requires less specialized technical expertise.
5	System consolidation, allowing departments to replace multiple standalone tools with one centralized platform.

In conclusion, we were able to show our customer that Quickbase could deliver near-parity with Salesforce for student affairs use cases while producing meaningful cost savings, faster deployment, and greater internal control over application development. The recommendation favors Quickbase as the stronger option for scalable, no-code operational improvement across student affairs departments. We strongly anticipate buy-in from this particular customer.

 ### 6. 11 Years with Quickbase: Fast, Reliable Support Whenever W

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joan M. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

We’ve been using Quickbase at our company for 11 years. One of my favorite things about it is that I can reach out to my customer rep, and they’re always quick to help whenever we need support or have questions.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

I haven’t found anything I dislike about Quickbase.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a member-based company, so it’s very important for us to keep our records accurate, especially because these files contain private information. A recent issue we needed help solving came up when we were adding employees for access to the files. My rep noticed that one of the employees had full admin access and walked me through how to correct it. He also explained how to add another person as an owner in our Quickbase.

 ### 7. Quickbase Streamlines Client Delivery with Flexible Low-Code Apps and Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya P. | Data Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

As part of my role at Accenture, I've used Quickbase to manage client delivery, track project activities, and streamline operational workflows. One of the things I value most is how quickly we can build and customize applications without relying heavily on development resources. This has been especially helpful when clients need process changes or additional tracking fields during an active project. The workflow automation features have made a noticeable difference in our day-to-day work. We use automated notifications, approval workflows, and status updates to keep project teams aligned and reduce manual follow-ups. The dashboards and reporting capabilities provide stakeholders with real-time visibility into project health, resource utilization, and outstanding actions, making client status meetings much more productive.Another strength is the platform's flexibility. Every client has unique business processes, and Quickbase allows us to configure applications to match those requirements without lengthy implementation cycles. It has also helped consolidate information that was previously spread across spreadsheets and emails, improving collaboration between consulting teams and client stakeholders.
One unexpected benefit has been how easily non-technical users can adopt the platform. After a brief onboarding period, project managers and business users were able to update records, generate reports, and monitor progress without depending on technical support, which accelerated decision-making and improved overall project transparency.
Overall, Quickbase has been a valuable platform for managing client engagements, improving process visibility, and automating repetitive operational tasks. Its flexibility and low-code capabilities make it well-suited for consulting environments where business requirements can evolve quickly.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

While Quickbase is highly flexible, there are a few areas that could be improved. As applications grow in complexity, managing relationships, formulas, and automations can become difficult, especially for larger enterprise implementations. Better tools for documenting dependencies and troubleshooting workflows would make ongoing maintenance much easier. The user interface is functional but feels dated in certain areas compared to newer low-code platforms. Some advanced customizations also require a learning curve, which can slow down onboarding for new users who aren't familiar with the platform. Reporting and dashboard capabilities cover most business needs, but creating highly customized visualizations sometimes requires additional effort or integration with external BI tools. More modern charting options and greater flexibility in dashboard design would be welcome. Performance can occasionally be impacted when working with large datasets or applications containing many interconnected tables and automations. Improving scalability and providing more detailed performance insights would help administrators optimize applications more effectively. Overall, these are areas for refinement rather than major drawbacks. The platform remains reliable and flexible, but enhancements to usability, performance, and analytics would make it even stronger for enterprise teams.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before implementing Quickbase, our project and operational data was spread across multiple Excel files, email threads, and shared documents, making it difficult to maintain a single source of truth. Tracking project status, approvals, action items, and deliverables required significant manual effort, and reporting for client stakeholders was time-consuming.
With Quickbase, we consolidated these processes into a centralized, configurable platform. We now manage project tracking, issue logs, risk registers, approvals, and resource information in one place, with automated workflows handling notifications and reminders. This has significantly reduced manual follow-ups and improved data accuracy. The biggest benefit has been increased visibility for both internal teams and clients. Real-time dashboards allow stakeholders to monitor project health without waiting for manual status reports, while automated reporting has reduced the time spent preparing weekly updates. In our experience, administrative effort for project tracking has decreased by roughly 25–30%, allowing the team to spend more time on delivery and client engagement rather than maintaining spreadsheets. The platform's flexibility has also been valuable because client requirements often evolve during a project. Instead of rebuilding processes or relying on custom development, we can quickly modify forms, workflows, and reports to support changing business needs, helping us respond faster while maintaining consistency across the engagement.

 ### 8. A good solution for basic integrations, with the ability to be extended to do heavy lifting.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Casey H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

The speed at which you can prototype out databases and get an immediate, basic solutions for operational issues is great. We find that the relationship structure makes it very easy to create virtually nested tables that can help elucidate a process and the summary tools an effective way to make sure that the relevant information is conveyed to it's siblings/parents.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Without the enterprise solution, having to contact support to enable some of the realm features has been mildy annoying, and QB is not a solution for storage en-masse. Even though we are pushing our data to our own cloud solution using QB as a middleware has been counting against our storage in our account analytics due to data retention.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to create some pretty diverse logic to drive non-linear processes and interdependent processes. It allows for rapid prototyping of new solutions so that the business can do incremental change, and directly affect outcomes in the back of the house and the field. For example, after a partner bankruptcy , we utilized quick base to aggregate all of our files and compliance packages while our projects were being resold to another financier. The major benefit in that period was the rate at which IT could respond and help with developing an app to fulfill the need. Within three days we had the dataset created, and utilizing pipelines had shared all of the necessary files with the prospective buyer.

 ### 9. The app to overcome any challenge that anyone can build!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie H. | Senior Financial Analyst, Entertainment, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2017

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

You’re able to customize this app to meet your needs and adjust it as those needs change over time. The reporting you can leverage is excellent for presenting insights to every level of the organization. It’s helped us communicate our team’s work with metrics we didn’t have access to before, and we’ve been able to identify bottlenecks and work through them.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

One thing I hear frequently is that people want dashboards that are customizable for each user. Overall, having more user-level customization would be great. I also don’t like having to pay extra for AI integration.

**Recommendations to others considering Quickbase:**

Try it, you won't be able to work without it!

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We no longer rely on spreadsheets to track our various projects. Instead, we now have one centralized place where everyone can access what they need and where we can clearly show what we’ve done. This benefits my team because it makes it easier to showcase more of their work and work product to my leaders in our organization.

 ### 10. Easy Workflow Management and Better Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amit C. | Head of Operations, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I like how Quickbase makes it easy to manage workflows and keep projects organized. It has improved team collaboration and reduced a lot of manual work. As a project manager, I especially value being able to build workflows without needing technical expertise. The automation helps reduce errors and makes daily tasks more efficient, while the initial setup was also straightforward and easy to get started with.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

I find that some features, such as advanced workflows, custom reports, and dashboards, take a bit of time to learn. Quickbase could make this easier with more guided tutorials, simple templates, and clearer in-app guidance for new users.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase helps me stay organized by keeping my workflows and projects in one place. It makes it easier for my team to collaborate, cuts down on manual work, and allows me to build workflows without needing technical skills. Automating routine tasks also helps reduce errors and keeps day-to-day work running more efficiently.

 ### 11. Quickbase Makes App Building, Automation, and Reporting Fast and Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rishav S. | Data Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I used Quickbase as part of my work on an enterprise project where multiple teams needed to track requests, project progress, and operational data in one place. What I liked most was how configurable the platform is without requiring extensive coding. We were able to customize forms, tables, and reports to fit our business process instead of changing the process to match the tool. I regularly used dashboards and reports to monitor work status, review records, and identify pending tasks. The built-in automation and notifications also helped reduce manual follow-ups by automatically updating team members when records changed or approvals were needed. Since everything was stored in a centralized application, it was much easier to collaborate with different teams and ensure everyone was working with the latest information. Another feature I appreciated was how quickly changes could be made when business requirements evolved. Adding new fields, updating workflows, or modifying reports was straightforward, which helped us respond to changing client needs without lengthy development cycles. Overall, Quickbase made our day-to-day tracking more organized, improved visibility across the team, and reduced the amount of manual work involved in managing business processes.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Overall, my experience with Quickbase has been positive, but there are a few areas that could be improved. While the platform is very flexible, configuring more advanced workflows, formulas, and relationships between tables can take some time to learn, especially for new users without prior experience. I also noticed that applications with a large number of records and highly customized reports can occasionally take longer to load. The user interface is easy to navigate once you're familiar with it, but some sections feel a bit dated and could be more intuitive. Finally, although Quickbase offers many customization options, implementing complex business requirements sometimes requires additional planning and testing to ensure everything works as expected.
These are relatively minor issues compared to the overall value the platform provides, but addressing them would make the experience even better.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At Accenture, I used Quickbase during a client engagement to track project activities and manage operational data across multiple teams. My day-to-day work involved updating records, monitoring project status through dashboards, and using reports to track pending tasks and overall progress. Since everyone worked from the same application, it was much easier to stay aligned and avoid the confusion that often comes with maintaining multiple spreadsheets. One thing I appreciated was how flexible the platform was. As business requirements changed, our team could quickly update forms, fields, and workflows without rebuilding the application from scratch. The automated notifications and workflow rules also helped reduce manual follow-ups by keeping the right people informed whenever records were updated or approvals were required.
From my experience, Quickbase improved collaboration between business and technical teams because everyone had access to the same real-time information. Instead of spending time collecting updates from different sources, we could focus on resolving issues and delivering work more efficiently. Overall, it made project tracking and day-to-day operations much more organized and transparent.

 ### 12. Great Overall Functionality and Potential AI Capability

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** edsel n. | Program Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase has been helpful for managing our existing logs and organizing information across different service areas. Our DSS department uses it to track client data, which we previously managed in an Excel spreadsheet. It addressed the problem of multiple staff members trying to edit the same file at once, which used to cause issues. Overall, it’s been smooth to use, and we haven’t had any complaints with what we currently have in place. I also appreciate the flexibility to create test applications so I can explore potential uses for other departments. Pricing is fair and worth the functionality. We haven't had any issues with performance or integration of existing data.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Before Quickbase, we relied heavily on Excel for tracking client information, and it wasn’t working well. Staff ran into issues with multiple people editing the same file, which led to errors and inefficiencies. Quickbase eliminated those problems by providing a centralized platform where everyone can access and update information without conflicts. It’s also helped us explore ways to streamline processes, like maintenance tracking and capturing signatures, though those are still in the early stages. Overall, Quickbase has made managing data easier and more reliable for the department that uses it. We would like to see more features related to signature capturing that is integrated into QuickBase and not a third party attachment. AI features are being introduced constantly so that has been a great addition to existing functionality.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to spin up applications for clients very quickly without a lot of staff downtime. This allows us to formulate and integrate simple solutions to rudimentary problems while also ensuring onboarding is seamless.

**Official Response from Jerry Kleva:**

> We're glad to hear that you appreciate our AI capabilities! We're constantly working to improve our documentation to provide more information on intricate features.

 ### 13. Wish I had listened to IT sooner! Love Quickbase!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lynn G. | Marketing Specialist / Quickbase Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Our company switched from Salesforce to Quickbase for our CRM functions. It’s been much easier to build, configure, and update than Salesforce, and I honestly wish we had listened to our IT Director sooner. The transition was smoother and easier than I expected, and we’re already up and running with more functionality than we had in Salesforce.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Sometimes finding the right combination of features or feature help can be cumbersome, but I normally find a solution.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to build a replacement for Salesforce CRM in just two months, which was faster than the full Salesforce implementation. It’s also been much easier for our team to understand and use.

Since moving off Salesforce, the app has been updated consistently and has become an integral part of our business. Outside of our ERP system, we run everything in Quickbase.

**Official Response from Jerry Kleva:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Quickbase! We're glad to hear that the transition from Salesforce to Quickbase was smoother than expected and that you're enjoying the increased functionality. We appreciate your feedback about the feature help, and we're continuously working to improve the user experience.

 ### 14. Flexible Customization and Powerful Integrations with Quickbase

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase lets us build what we need without being locked into a rigid system. I like that we can create pipelines and customize how data flows between apps and tables. It’s also helpful that we can use bulk upserts and other tools to handle large amounts of data efficiently. The ability to integrate with external tools, like APIs, is another big plus for us. It’s not perfect, but it gives us the tools to figure things out and make it work for our needs. Definitely!! Definitely!!

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

It feels more limited than custom code, and when I’m working with extremely large data sets, the system can sometimes become slow.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a way to automate processes and connect different systems, like sending emails through APIs or managing attachments. Quickbase has helped us streamline these workflows. For example, we now use pipelines to archive old transactions and move them into a separate app, which keeps our main app running smoothly. We’ve also been able to use bulk upserts to handle thousands of records at once, which saves time and reduces errors. It’s not always straightforward, and we’ve had to work through some limitations, but overall, it’s made our processes more efficient and manageable.

The drag-and-drop interface is straightforward, and the automation and reporting tools make it easier for us to manage data and stay on top of work without constantly needing support from developers.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Quickbase is easy to use for most day-to-day tasks, but some of the more advanced features take a little time to learn. When you start building more complex applications, having some technical knowledge can be helpful. I also feel the interface could be refreshed in a few areas so it looks more modern and is easier to navigate.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Quickbase, we relied on spreadsheets and multiple tools to manage our work. Now everything is in one place, which makes it easier to track projects, handle approvals, and stay organized. It's cut down on manual work and helped our team work more efficiently.

 ### 16. Incredibly Customizable—Quickbase Centralized Our Projects in One Place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cassie K. | Office Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

It’s incredibly customizable. Nearly anything I’ve wanted to do (or that others in my org have asked for) seems possible. It sometimes takes a bit of Googling and some time to figure out how to make it happen, but there are plenty of resources out there (Quickbase University, Quickbase Community, office hours) to help me work through different use cases. Before Quickbase, we had multiple spreadsheets that were owned by different people to track all of our projects. Now almost everything we do lives in one place, with one owner but everyone has the access they need. The pricing seemed high for us because we're a small company with only a few employees, and we'll likely never meet the minimum users required. But we keep finding uses for it that make it more valuable all the time!

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Because we’re a small company with only a few users, I do wish there were plans available with lower user limits, though I understand they need to cover their costs and turn a profit. The learning curve was pretty steep for me; there were plenty of days I went home frustrated because I knew what I wanted to do was possible, but I just couldn’t figure out how to do it. At the time, Quickbase University had a ton of content to help me learn, but some of it felt outdated since they had recently released several new features along with an updated UI. Lately, I’ve noticed that a lot of the Quickbase U content has been refreshed to match the current UI, so it should be easier for new folks who are just getting started.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to have spreadsheets everywhere, and our information was siloed in each person’s individual files. Even though we never missed a deadline, we always knew there was some risk—especially if an employee had to take unexpected leave. Now, everyone has access to all the information, which makes it much easier to stay aligned and keep work moving. The built-in report and notification capabilities give us another layer of protection so we don't miss something important.

 ### 17. Streamlined Project Management, without coding

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pawan S. | B2B Lead Generation & Sales Intelligence, Market Research, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I appreciate that I can monitor projects, automate workflows, and manage all business data in one place with Quickbase. It significantly reduces manual efforts and errors, which is a huge plus for me. I love that I don't need coding skills to create workflows and build applications, making it very accessible. The ability to automate dashboards and keep business data up to date is fantastic. I also found it easy to use once I got through the initial learning curve.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

It takes time to learn in the start, but once my learning curve was complete, it became much easier.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Quickbase to monitor projects and automate workflows, reducing manual efforts and errors. It centralizes business data, requires no coding to create workflows, and keeps dashboards up to date.

 ### 18. Quickbase Makes Automation and Custom App Building Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie H. | Clinical Support Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I like that Quickbase lets me automate processes and avoid manual work. I’m someone who prefers efficiency, and Quickbase helps me get things done faster without having to deal with repetitive tasks. I was able to build an app from scratch using Quickbase University and the help docs, even though I had never used Quickbase before. It’s satisfying to figure things out and see them work. The platform is flexible, and I’ve been able to customize it to fit our needs, like creating dashboards and reports for supervisors and case managers. It’s also great for tracking and organizing data in a way that’s easy to reference later. I appreciate that Quickbase allows me to make things easier for others to use and access.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Not much, I have heard from people using my application that they have a difficult time understanding the logic but I believe the majority of that frustration will be addressed with the new UI QB uploaded.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Quickbase, we were using Microsoft Planner, which isn’t a database and made pulling reports a two-day process. It was subjective and inefficient. Now, with Quickbase, I’ve built an app to track audits for compliance with state requirements for Medicaid. The app helps us pinpoint where issues are occurring in member files and track trends across audits. For example, I can see which areas are failing most often and use that data to guide training for case managers.

 ### 19. Quickbase Simplifies Complex Workflows with Flexible, Powerful Reporting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elena D. | Data Base Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase makes it easier to manage complex workflows without needing everything to be fully automated. I like that it allows me to create reports and track assignments in a way that’s already simpler than what we had in place before. For example, when we were working on the PTO backup system, Quickbase let us set up relationships and formulas that dynamically adjust based on real-time data, like who’s out on PTO and who their backup is. It’s not perfect, but it’s flexible enough that I can create workarounds, like manual overrides, when needed. I also appreciate how the app leverages relationships and formulas in a clean, straightforward way. It’s not overly complicated, but it’s powerful enough to handle what we need.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

The Jinja-specific language means having to learn yet another IT language. I wish you could incorporate SAS, SQL, or Python directly in the code sections instead.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Quickbase, managing assignments and backups was a mess. We had no way to dynamically account for PTO or ensure tasks were reassigned to backups in real time. Now, Quickbase helps us track who’s out and automatically shifts assignments to their backup for that day. It’s not fully automated, but it’s already better than what we had before. For example, if someone is out, their tasks flip to their backup, and when they return, it flips back. This saves us from manually tracking everything and reduces errors. Another issue was sorting tasks by date and time. Quickbase allowed us to create formulas to sort properly, even though it took some trial and error to get it right. It’s also helped us with tracking the most recent completed dates for projects, which was something we couldn’t do easily before. Overall, it’s made our workflows more manageable, even if there’s still some manual work involved."

 ### 20. Quickbase Keeps Our Work Organized with Clear Dashboards and Better Team Visibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tanya M. | Research Associate, Biotechnology, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

What I like most about Quickbase is how it helps our team keep work organized in one place instead of managing everything across different tools. We use it to track project progress, monitor task updates, and manage different stages such as not started, in progress, and review.

The dashboards and reports give a clear breakdown of current status, making it easy to identify pending work and follow up quickly. It has made coordination smoother and improved overall visibility across the team

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

One downside is that the UI can feel a bit basic compared to some modern tools, which can impact the overall user experience. It may take some time for new users to get comfortable navigating different sections.

Also, when working with larger datasets or detailed reports, performance can sometimes slow down. While it works well for regular use, improvements in UI design and performance would make it even better.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase helps solve the challenge of scattered data and lack of visibility across tasks. Earlier, tracking updates required manual follow-ups and multiple tools, but now everything is centralized.

It allows us to monitor progress in real time, reduce manual effort, and ensure everyone is aligned. This has improved efficiency and made our workflow more structured.

 ### 21. QuickBase: Flexible Low-Code App Building with Strong Integrations and Extensions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sachin S. | Platform Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

What I like best about Quickbase is its flexibility and speed in building custom applications without heavy coding. In my workplace, I actively use Quickbase to develop and manage applications for system configuration and pricing workflows. I have created multiple interconnected tables for systems, component libraries, pricing updates, and standardized solutions, which helps us manage complex data relationships efficiently.

The ability to customize forms, reports, and dashboards allows us to track project status, manage client-specific requirements, and improve operational visibility. We also use Pipelines to automate workflows such as data updates and notifications, which reduces manual effort and improves accuracy. Overall, Quickbase helps us streamline operations and quickly adapt to changing business needs

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

One of the main drawbacks of Quickbase is its limited UI/UX customization, which can make applications feel less modern and restrict flexibility for end-user experience. In our implementation, where we manage multiple related tables and complex workflows, performance can sometimes slow down, especially when working with large datasets or detailed reports.

Additionally, while integrations are possible, advanced use cases often require APIs or additional configuration, which increases development effort. The pricing model can also become expensive as usage scales across teams. These factors can impact scalability and user experience, and improvements in UI flexibility, performance optimization, and native integrations would make the platform even more effective.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase helps us solve the challenge of managing complex workflows and disconnected data across our operations by providing a centralized and customizable platform. In our workplace, we use it to manage system configuration and pricing processes, where multiple related datasets (such as systems, components, and pricing structures) need to be connected and updated in real time.

It has allowed us to replace manual spreadsheets with structured applications, improving data accuracy, visibility, and consistency across teams. We also use automation (Pipelines) to reduce repetitive tasks like status updates, approvals, and notifications.

 ### 22. Quickbase’s Flexible No-Code Apps and Automation That Cut Manual Work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manohar D. | SEO Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I really like how Quickbase lets me build custom apps without needing to write code. It’s extremely flexible, and its automation tools have significantly reduced the repetitive manual work our team used to handle.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

The pricing can feel steep, especially for smaller teams, and some of the more advanced features come with a noticeable learning curve. With heavier usage, performance can slow down at times, and the UI also feels a bit dated compared with newer tools.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase has helped us centralize data that used to be scattered across different places and automate manual approval workflows, so we’re no longer chasing email threads or digging through spreadsheets. As a result, it has significantly reduced project delays and given leadership real-time visibility into overall progress.

 ### 23. Make it how you want it

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dorian G. | Purchasing Manager, Construction, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase makes it easy to organize and customize things the way I need them. I like that I can adjust fields, headers, and reports without worrying about breaking anything. I recently was able to add a new column to group inventory by location and create a separate category column, and it didn’t mess up the existing setup. It’s straightforward to make changes, and I don’t feel like I’m going to screw something up. The dashboards are also really helpful. They let me see everything I need in one place, and I can tweak them to show exactly what I want. That’s probably one of my favorite features.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Before Quickbase, tracking inventory was a hassle. Our monthly counts involved a lot of jumping back and forth between areas, and it wasn’t easy to keep everything organized. Now, I can group inventory by location and category, which saves time and makes it easier for the team to count items without running all over the place. I’ve also been able to update pricing and quantities directly in the system, so everything matches up better. Another big benefit is being able to track work-in-progress jobs separately from hard inventory. This helps us account for materials that haven’t been billed yet but are still part of our inventory. Quickbase has helped us clean up our processes and make things more efficient

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’re now running a lot of our business tasks through QB, and it has made us more efficient and cost-effective overall.

 ### 24. Quickbase review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shilpa G. | Strategic Operations Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

It gives a platform for creating workflows at one place. Integrates several tools into 1 place, easy to learn and create on Quickbase. UI is customizable. Support resource are good. AI and intelligence features are still to evolve.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Pipeline errors occur very frequently, poor UI/UX look and feel, unable to customize the look and feel for our users. AI and intelligence features are yet to evolve for users. AI chat is more for developers. Pricing and performace seems ok

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it for our travel and Headcount management, it is of great help to get a centralized repository, user access and protection, scalable solution. we started developing another app in quickbase for digitizing our forms and it seems more streamlined view of making it better for users

 ### 25. Flexible Platform That Streamlines Collaboration, Reporting, and Daily Operations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tanu S. | Deputy Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

we could solve business problem without waiting on developer. A lot of the processes we manage our unique to our business with we were able to build and adjust workflows ourselves instead submitting request and waiting months for IT resources. It helped us finally move from the spreadsheet chaos before quick pace information was spread across multiple spreadsheets, emails and shared folders having everything in one place, made it much easier to know what was actually happening across projects. It’s easy to adapt when process change the way we worked three years ago is different from how we work today, we have been able to modify forms work flows in tracking without having to start over every time, the business walls.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

reporting can take some trial and error getting exactly the report or dashboard you want is not always at street forward as it should be pipeline of new features. Sometime takes a lot of time as application group keeping organised becomes important without good structure and naming convention in terms of terminology, it can get little harder to manage overtime.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick base solved a visibility problem for us before using it. Information lived in spreadsheet, emails and different systems. We made it difficult to know that the status of projects or identify bottle mix. Having everything in one place has made tracking work managing accountability and making decision much easier.

 ### 26. Transformative Data Management with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emerson W. | Adjunct Professor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

There are several features about QuickBase that I love. 1) The relational aspect: this has allowed my organization's data from different program areas to speak to each other; 2)Automated workflows: are going to make data entry and responding to requests much more efficient for my team; 3) Flexibility: the customizability of QuickBase has been important for our database build. We are a unique organization and the granualrity of customization has made QuickBase very useful; 4) Customer Service: I've had such an excellent experience at every step of my QuickBase journey. From sales to project management to app creation.

Transitioning from Google Sheets to Quickbase has been a significant upgrade for our organization. Now, the previously siloed data from various program areas can communicate, allowing us to get a fuller picture of how clients interact with different program areas. Data is also stored in a much more cohesive manner that does not require as much duplicate entry.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Not much to dislike. The Google integration has been a little tricky. We are still trying to figure out how to connect to subfolders in our Google Drive instead of the main toplevel drive.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The program areas in our organization overlap in many unique ways that individual Google Sheets are unable to capture. The relational nature of QuickBase has been wonderful. Allowing us to better understand how our clients interact with our organization. And using this data to inform our planning and decision making.

 ### 27. Quickbase Automation and Integrations That Boost Productivity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aryan S. | Senior Business Development Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

It helps us to reduce the time and to give or to get more productivity out of given time so that is one of the best feature which helps us in organisation when it comes to any complex thing, specially the local ability of quickbase

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Prices becomes higher as per the market standards. Also, sometimes the automation shows the error which I believe is a bug so that is something which we face otherwise everything seems to be fine.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For our need, the problem, of disconnected, workflows and scattered data basically for us, it has replaced a lot of platforms for example, sheets or Excel and it has given us more customised automated Work flow which helped us having the better visibility and improved efficiency

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

There are plenty of Quickbase Partners, a thriving user Community and Discord community, Quickbase online resources/documentation, a Quickbase University to teach you everything you need to know and specialist Partner resources for niche development for niche needs that natively Quickbase does not offer.

**Recommendations to others considering Quickbase:**

Make sure to make the most of the online resources (Knowledge Base and Community Forum). When you need more dedicated help, reach out to a QuickBase QSP or independent Consultant for advice - you will be surprised how easy it could be to achieve what you are struggling with by yourself.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using spreadsheets for heavy lifting of a business is one formula away from a disaster. Quickbase allows you to ingest, report, disect and disseminate information in meaningful ways to anyone in real-time. Decision making from Management can be made without meetings, users can build their own reports to meet their individual needs and access to data is controlled by you, the business. Control what is visible to who, and when. Limit the ability to create data or delete data. Across many business I work with in various industries, Quickbase is solving problems the large enterprise-solutions cannot. If you have tried Quickbase before, you should try it again - it has evolved! If you are not succeeding in your goals, you may have made a simple error architecturally in the Application design - an easy fix. The power of Pipelines to automate data workflow around your Apps or into/from other solutions is what makes Quickbase enterprise-grade; but any opportunity to automate a mundane repetitive process is simply smart business.

 ### 29. Powerful Integrations, Needs Pipeline Improvements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eugene v. | Project Delivery - PM Tools Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I really appreciate the powerful relationships in Quickbase. It's much stronger than other local platforms I've tried. The ability to create relationships and use them to look up or summarize values, and then perform calculations, even across multiple tables, is extremely powerful and saves a lot on automation. Quickbase is also very fast and secure. It's very easy to manage and create things, even though some items may be a bit more difficult. Overall, it feels very simple and flexible. I can visualize and build pretty much anything I want, which makes Quickbase incredibly powerful for us. The pipelines, old automations, and new pipelines are vital; without them, we couldn't move data around. I also think the rich text fields and version three tables are extremely important parts that enhance the user experience. Managing and governing the realm is easy to use, and I don't have to be an IT expert. What I like most is that it just works. It works today, it works tomorrow, and it keeps on working. I love it.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Performance of pipelines is probably the weakest link in Quickbase at the moment. The pipelines seem to have some limitation even though they claim there is no throttling. There is definitely throttling because pipelines just can't handle a lot of volume of work, which is a big drawback. Issues like requests on a pipeline step bombing out easily without a clear reason and maximum size exceeded errors contribute to variability in pipeline performance. Another issue is that the version three tables need all their bugs fixed because it is hampering user experience. Lastly, the forms need more customization and improvement. The way the buttons work at the top and how forms save and load is still clunky, leading to many user experience complaints.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Quickbase to prevent spreadsheet errors, integrate data, and create an enterprise tool that supports collaboration and standardizes processes.

 ### 30. Quickbase Streamlines Workflows with Flexible, Easy Custom Solutions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

Quickbase makes it easy to organize work and build custom solutions without needing a lot of technical effort. It’s straightforward to use, flexible, and it has helped make our day-to-day processes much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

The interface feels a bit outdated in certain areas, and getting the more advanced features set up can take some time to learn. I’d also really like to see more built-in templates, along with additional customization options.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase helps us organize our work, automate repetitive tasks, and keep all of our project information in one place. As a result, we’ve reduced manual effort, improved collaboration across the team, and made it easier to track progress so we can complete work on time.

 ### 31. Easy-to-Use Quickbase with Powerful Reporting, Integrations, and Responsive Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sourabh S. | Technical Support Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I’m a frequent user of Quickbase and have been using it for the past five years. Overall, it’s very easy to use and manage.

I especially like creating reports based on our requirements. It helps me sort data, set up notifications for our users, and use formula fields effectively. Customer support is also strong; they respond quickly and follow up regularly.

Quickbase also provides a pipeline feature that helps us connect with other platforms and within Quickbase itself.

It is allowing teams to build applications quickly without deep programming knowledge, simple integration, which reduces development time, and implementation is easy overall

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

When we use formula queries, our application becomes slow, and it affects our work progress. Also, sometimes while working on summary reports, we face the same issue.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like the new UI, where the table shows sideways.

 ### 32. One Searchable Hub: Automated Reports and Easy Org-Wide Adoption

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natalie G. | Family Readiness Support Assistant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

My favorite thing about Quickbase is that I was able to take information that my organization was housing in 4 separate Excel sheets and an outlook Wilo and put it all in one searchable place. Plus, the reports that my direct manager was pulling the data and creating manually, I was able to automate which saved her a lot of time and the information she needs is for senior leadership is now always at her fingertips - and theirs. Once I showed the benefits to the org, it was very easy to get buy in from leadership and was extremely easy to implement across the team and integrate with other departments. It is something that we all use daily.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

There have been no downsides to my department as of yet.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a single source to manage our new hire classes, assign instructors, include class rosters and attendance reports, the Teams link for people to join, and notes on the new hires for their leaders to view. It is also automates report creation for how many students taught, and how many classes per instructor.

 ### 33. Unmatched Flexibility—Build Whatever You Can Imagine in Quickbase

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dr. Paul W. | Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

What I like most about Quickbase is that it really lets your imagination run wild—you can build whatever you’d like. That flexibility is huge in any industry, because it allows your ideas to come to fruition and actually appear on screen.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Not much at all. I would say, I hope the Builders at Quickbase allow a platform for PAVE to be inserted/leveraged into an existing Quickbase Application.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase has enabled my organization to move from an archaic, paper-based way of doing business to a streamlined, modern approach. This shift has also helped our field personnel follow suit and learn to work within our system. From timesheets to vehicle repair orders to financials, we’re able to leverage Quickbase across all areas of our operations. On top of that, the real-time data helps us consistently look like experts when we report out to our clients. The relationship capabilities in Quickbase are paramount, which is why we strongly appreciate its use.

 ### 34. Highly Configurable Platform for Fast, Governed Enterprise Apps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa F. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

It is a highly configurable platform that you can build enterprise level applications to meet everyday challenges quickly, with governance, and solid outcomes. The customer support is fantastic too. I have never had a problem that wasn't quickly addressed by customer support. Finally, I really love its connectability to other tools in our organization. Pipelines really have level set things for those of us who were less familiar with making API calls.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

This is both a strength and weakness. Building fast can sometimes mean building sloppy and though great for less complicated use cases, when you skip steps for speed on more complex problems, you end up having to go back and correct. Maybe this is less about Quickbase and more about us end users?

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We work in a very specific industry that is addressing complex issues associated with disaster management and recovery. We are able to quickly spin up applications to meet community needs and during and days following disasters, moving fast to recovery is important.

 ### 35. Versatile, Easy-to-Use, and Well-Supported Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allison P. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I appreciate Quickbase for its ease of use, which makes it accessible and efficient for my tasks. I love the availability of training through resources like Quickbase University, as well as the opportunity to attend regular office hours and training sessions, which help me get the most out of the platform. I also value its versatility in application, allowing me to use it for various needs like database management, production tracking, and KPI monitoring. The process of switching to Quickbase was smooth, thanks to a gradual transition, and it was met with lots of positive reactions from my team.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

The new grid reports are nice, but there are some formatting things I wish I had better control of, such as sizing. I would prefer to be able to enter the sizing by sliding the columns over instead of setting the number of pixels. And I would love for the rows to auto size based on the data instead of setting all rows to a specific height.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase solves data validation and security issues, clarifies data, and simplifies data collection with formulas.

 ### 36. Developer's Dream Sandbox with Robust Controls

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shane M. | QuickBase Developer | SQL Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I like that Quickbase is like a giant sandbox. I enjoy the fact that if you can articulate an idea, it can most likely be built or solutioned in Quickbase. There are a lot of controls for the developer, such as code pages, formula fields, restructuring of tables, pipelines, etc.

I also love the people that work at Quickbase and the community. Everyone just wants to help everyone and I love that.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Tracking where elements of Quickbase are used is lacking. For example, if I want to know where a report is used (perhaps embedded on a form, referenced in a formula query, used within a code page, etc) I can't get a good understanding of this unless I know from memory or do a deep dive.

I look forward to an easy dev, test, and production environment built into Quickbase.

I really want the ability to hide the pencil icon, save icon and other elements on that banner within new forms. I would like to have full control of what my users see from a new form UI perspective without having to manually alter the ifv=1&hs=1 within a button or a code page which totally changes the look and feel of the form and is just a clunky workaround when you bounce around between Iframe and not iframe. There are many occasions where I want to control the flow and use buttons to do certain functions that check certain boxes which start certain workflows. The issue is, in order for that API within the formula rich text field to work effectively I either have to give the user editing permissions (which automatically shows the pencil icon) or hard-code my user token into the button which is visible to everyone on the console.

I really dislike that when I am in new forms and have grid edit enabled on a form I have to be in edit mode to make changes. I would love for this feature to automatically change (if I have editing permissions) when I double click a field (even while just viewing a record).

I really dislike that when I am using new forms and have an embedded report I don't have control as an admin on the form level within the report settings to determine whether or not when the user clicks the eyeball it opens a new tab or stays in the same window. When I don't want to use the new pop-up feature on new forms reports within a form, it defaults to open a new tab and becomes an absolute pain in the donkey.

I also really dislike that the new reports don't auto adjust the row height based on the largest text field. For example, if a record has a field that just has a few words on the notes field, it should be thinner and show everything. If another row has a paragraph of information it should automatically show all and adjust the row height without me needing to also max out the row height of the record that just has a few words in the notes. I believe the older reports did this.

It would also be neat to be able to include dynamic filters on the embedded report.

I have a lot of other ideas, but am late for a class. feel free to reach out

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I build full-scale applications, dashboards, and reports. Quickbase is a giant sandbox with many developer controls like code pages and pipelines. You can build almost anything you can think of.

 ### 37. Super User-Friendly Pipelines That Streamline Work and Automate the Mundane

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** cory h. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase has been super user friendly. I enjoy building the pipelines and utilizing the subscriptions for email notifications. i've built about 6 pipelines and it's really helped to streamline our processes by automating the boring, mundane jobs. Using the subscriptions has helped to reduce contact time from reps to customers which increases our ability to touch more customers.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Hmmm... well for my purposes, one thing that does drive me crazy is the auto expand sidebar. So, if I am trying to copy an address or something out of a customer profile I have to be so careful not to let the mouse get too far to the left as it will immediately ruin the copy process and just open the sidebar. Very annoying. Please make this a toggle option where I can turn that off.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me personally just as I described the AI and automations have been super helpful. I was using copilot to help build the pipelines but the native AI is pretty cool.

 ### 38. Easy, Flexible Solution Building That Saves Users Time

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

It is easy to build solutions without complicated processes, unless you want to add those in. I like being able to build and do the heavy lifting for our users knowing that the work put into the build saves them time in their use.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Integration with Quickbase can sometimes be tricky, depending on the system you are trying to connect. It is better than it used to be, but it is sometimes still a struggle.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase allows our team to create solutions faster, with built-in controls (roles, permissions, etc.) that make it easy to administer both the data and how the app is used. Because we serve a wide range of users at different levels (both in their work and experience), we can build a solution based on what our primary users request after meeting with them. At the same time, we can use the app across different teams, departments, and user groups, and still easily manage access, usage, and permissions for each specific use case and role.

 ### 39. Reliable, Easy to Use, Needs Better Test vs Production Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I like how reliable Quickbase is, and how easy it is for our newer users to get the hang of it. I rarely, if ever, have complaints about downtime or lag with Quickbase, and I have a user base that is generally new to the platform, so it being so customizable and self-explanatory is great for users with no experience. The initial setup was very easy as well.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

On some of the more custom functions, the ability to troubleshoot could be made easier, as well as a more dedicated test vs production system. At the moment there is not a real system for dedicated test systems completely separate from production. If they added this, it would be a lot easier to troubleshoot and build custom functions and pipelines within our environment.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Quickbase to manage technical resources and event timings, ensuring we track resources, address issues, and prevent event overlaps.

 ### 40. Quickbase Replaced Our Spreadsheets with Calm, Organized Workflows

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah A. | Head of Business Development, Financial Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I didn’t realize how valuable Quickbase was until I stopped relying on spreadsheets; with Quickbase, everything felt calm and clearly organized. What stood out even more was that as our workflow grew, the platform continued to perform well, and the support remained solid.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

I didn’t experience any problem with Quickbase, as it entirely changed our way of managing projects in a good way. Integrations, onboarding, and performance all worked in our favour.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I didn’t notice much change until I stopped chasing updates. After that, the platform continued to deliver consistent performance. We also added integrations, although the benefits were almost lost due to duplicate data entries. By the end of the year, it delivered a solid ROI, with improved efficiency throughout.

 ### 41. QuickBase

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert R. | Business Operations Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase has a broad functionality that we can build ourselves. It's highly customizable, which was a major advantage over other platforms we evaluated, like Salesforce. We particularly like the ability to create specific landing pages for different user roles, and the dashboards that can centralize workflows from multiple applications are a big plus. The platform allows us to tailor applications very specifically to our needs, which is essential for our diverse data requirements.
Before using Quickbase, we had numerous spreadsheets and siloed data that didn't talk to each other, which was cumbersome and led to errors. Now, we have centralized our provider data and other critical information into Quickbase, making it much easier to manage and maintain. It has significantly streamlined our data upload processes, even though we still have some manual steps due to security constraints. The platform has also enabled us to clean up redundant fields and optimize our applications, which has improved data integrity and usability. Overall, Quickbase has helped us move away from scattered spreadsheets to a more integrated and efficient system.
Also, the Tech Support is great to work with.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

more one on one mentoring. easier notifications functions. AI included with certain packages

 ### 42. Easy-to-Use, Powerful Data Insights for Our Logistics

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derek M. | Inventory Innovation Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase has been a solid tool for us, especially when it comes to managing the logistics of our food delivery program. One of the things I appreciate most is how well it integrates with other tools we use, like FastField. For example, we’ve been able to connect our bulk order forms directly into Quickbase, so every submission automatically creates a record in our Quickbase tables. It's very easy to pick up and lets us easily manipulate large amounts of data to gain incredibly useful insights on our processes.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

More customizability would be very helpful. We've found a lot of utility with the Code Page feature, but it lacks a lot of elements that traditional IDE environments have, like debugging and support for file structures. Pipelines could also be a little more intuitive. Otherwise, it has been a very easy to use and powerful tool.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Quickbase, a lot of our processes were manual and tedious. For example, we used to track inventory and deliveries with pen and paper, which was time-consuming and prone to errors. Now, we’re working on building out an inventory tracking system in Quickbase, and even though it’s still in the prototype phase, it’s already clear how much smoother things will be once we fully implement it. Another big challenge was cleaning up data from external submissions, like addresses and emails. We’ve had issues with incomplete or incorrect information, which required a lot of manual cleanup in Excel. With Quickbase, we’re starting to explore ways to automate some of that validation and reduce the amount of cleanup work. Overall, Quickbase has helped us streamline our workflows and start moving toward more automation, which is a big step forward for our small team.

 ### 43. Quickbase Review - How non-programmers create Apps

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tammie K. | Director of Training and Technology, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase is a quick way to create a data-driven workflow and has all the components you need to keep everyone in the loop with your progress. You can get an app up and running in one session.
If you want to add features, it is pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Once you connect a data source, it's hard to make changes to the source without starting over. The good news it, you can get creative in your solutions to accomplish tasks.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase is a Line of Business application that allows us to push work to users rather than having them constantly checking different systems to see if it is their turn to do something.

 ### 44. Robust Data Management with Room for Reporting Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** cayden b. | Regional Technology Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

What I like most about Quickbase is its mobile layers of complexity that are available but not necessary to utilize it. I think recently, it has made major strides in its reporting capability. Generally speaking, it is easy to adopt and works quickly and effectively to get into the hands of folks who need to use it. The interface and usability make the applications easy to adopt, and it's very easy to initially set up. The ability to implement applications that look similar to prior iterations helps with quick adoption and market.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

I think Quickbase's reporting features have gotten better, but I would like to see additional features added for more complex reporting, especially when there are multiple values associated with a single record that you have to compare and present on a single chart. I've found that formulas being reference fields is not convenient. I think features granted to roles could be more finite and less broad.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase supports data integrity, collection, interconnectivity, and storage. It helps in creating and managing project solutions for operations, capturing productivity metrics, and integrating information with employee workflows effectively.

 ### 45. Intuitive Quickbase That Makes Building Apps and Automating Reports Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alan H. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

We find Quickbase intuitive to use, especially as I am not an IT specialist - merely a daily, enthusiastic user.
By experimentation and trial & error, the logic within QB has allowed me to build the apps and databases myself. It's been a great learning process, and has been very successful.
A key feature is that I have been able to automate reports to send to project participants outside of our user group. It certainly beats creating manual reports. That said, it would really help if reports could be sent as attachments instead of being embedded in the email.
I have found it easy to share information and implement dashboards to other users in a secure manner.
QB's customer support is good although I would welcome a "pay as you go" option to assist with minor challenges that only require maybe 10 minutes of assistance.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

I would like to learn how to make the presentation more elegant with images and branding. I suspect this can be done, but would like some of tutorials to be available for this, and indeed for other things. Accessing direct support can be expensive for a small business like ours.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QB allows me to manage a lot of client and project information, and at the same time access it, amend it, and share it easily.

 ### 46. Smooth Integrations and Helpful Onboarding

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Louis B. | Senior Enterprise Account Executive, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

The integrations fit smoothly into our existing workflow, which means we don’t have to replace the tools we already rely on. The onboarding experience has been useful as well, and it helped us get set up without disrupting how we work.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

Planning the first application takes more time than we expected, but it is understandable. The thing that upset me is that a big part of the integrations requires extra configuration before they fit our specific processes.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Minor process changes don’t disrupt the entire workflow because updating an application is now easier than rebuilding the whole process from scratch. What’s more, the platform’s performance doesn’t seem to change at all, no matter what the load is.

 ### 47. Customisable software solutions that integrate easily with your other software solutions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Waldo Luke R. | Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Easy to use, lots of integration opportunities with other platforms. There is a growing market of customers who do not want to invest in large expensive solutions but want targeted solutions based on their needs.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

The limited structure for non-user access. The partner program is virtually non-existent.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecting multiple operating systems and providing opportunities for central data management , enhanced reporting and removing needs for manual reporting in spreadsheets. Replacing local or multi-user Excel registrations by centralised collaborative solutions, avoiding duplication of work, disparate and non-integrated system solutions, and overall creating higher efficiency and trustworthiness of data. Creating a single source of truth within a setup of connected systems.

 ### 48. Confident Learning Curve for Creating Custom Reports

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marie B. | EHS Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I use Quickbase to organize and track waste management for several facilities. I am in my tracking logs almost daily. I can not pick just one feature I like the best, there are several. For example, I love how much time I am saving having everything in one place, how easy it is to share with other team members, and having the drop down menu prevents duplications. As well as how easy it is to export to a spreadsheet or email a log to others that are not on the team. Before Quickbase, I had to do a lot of copy/paste from multiple places to create a report. This was time consuming and not a very accurate way to get the numbers so things had to be checked and double checked often. Some reporting could take hours, now, with the customer reports, it is simply choose what is needed by clicking a couple of button, select the date range and its ready to be sent out. I do appreciate how I can click into the reports and it takes me directly to the data behind the numbers. Maybe that is the #1 feature, for today anyway.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

I'm still learning how to create my own reports. This doesn't seem to be very easy for me yet. But I'm sure after I've done it a few more times I will get the hang of it. I have had a chance to customize a few.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbase has solved one big problem, preparing monthly reports to management and regulatory agencies. Having everything in one log eliminates keeping multiple logs for different "outputs". Having the options to create custom reports for the same data entry form is a huge timesaver and prevents errors. I am still solving problems as new needs arise we are able to add tables and will continue to improve our tracking capabilities.

 ### 49. Quickbase Centralizes Our Data with Flexible Permissions and Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Autumn S. | Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

Quickbase makes it easier to manage and track the data we need without having to jump between multiple systems. I like that it centralizes everything in one place, especially for tracking studies, agreements, and invoicing. It’s also flexible enough to adapt to what we need as we grow. For example, we’ve been able to set up permissions so users only see the data relevant to them, which is important since we have multiple sites using the app. The ability to customize forms and automate processes is another big plus—it saves us time and reduces manual work. I also appreciate that Quickbase offers tools like pipelines to help cut down on repetitive data entry.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

So far, I haven’t been able to identify any downsides. They’ve been helpful and responsive.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Quickbase, a lot of our processes were manual and scattered. For example, we had forms that people had to download, fill out, and email back, which was time-consuming and prone to errors. Now, we’re working on automating those forms so the data goes directly into Quickbase, which will save us a lot of back-and-forth. Another challenge was tracking all the details for our studies and agreements across multiple sites. Quickbase helps us centralize that information so it’s easier to manage and pull reports. We’re also looking to integrate Quickbase with QuickBooks to streamline invoicing and reduce the manual work of entering data into multiple systems. Overall, it’s helping us save time, stay organized, and make our processes more efficient.

 ### 50. Quickbase Makes Project Updates Effortless and Boosts Productivity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abraham R. | Key Business Account Manager, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Quickbase?**

I rarely worry about losing track of updates, as now managing projects feels routine instead of being stressful.
Quickbase has improved our productivity to a new, unexpected level, and as a result, the ROI is easy to reach.

**What do you dislike about Quickbase?**

I really enjoy using Quickbase every day, and for the most part it’s a stress-free experience. That said, its AI-powered capabilities, along with a few of its integrations, make me pause and rethink my choice at times.

**What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, my biggest worries were about the platform’s performance, new staff onboarding, and, most importantly the project management process. But with Quickbase, I simply focus on getting my side of work done and letting Quickbase take case of behind the scenes.
