  ### 1. Most Frustrating Software I've ever Used

**What do you like best about ToolWatch?**

It brings light to items and where they are, makes charging out consumables pulled from stock easy and seemless.

**What do you dislike about ToolWatch?**

SO many things!!! For starters, they make this software anti user-friendly unless you are willing to pay an astronomical price!! Secondly the software barely functions half the time, leading to excessive down time, delayed projects, missing tools, inacurate counts due to not being able to enter them in real time because the software has different bugs and glitches. They dont even attempt to make changes to make things more user friendly. Unless you have the highest teir and pay them, you will have alot of troubles navigating their software, limited reports and such. My biggest issue, when and if you make a mistake on a transfer, you cant edit it, you cant delete it. You have to go in and manually adjust your inventory for each individual item and then make an entire new transfer. So now, your reports will look off, and you wasted 4 hours doing something that this company could EASILY change, by making admins able to edit things. Ive mentioned this issue to them multiple times but nothing has changed and they think that method they provided me is easy. I can not WAIT to find a different WMS to assist us. There has got to be better options out there.

The only problem this software solves, is tracking of tools and charge out reports. Other than that this software is useless.

**What do you like best about ToolWatch?**

I like that it does provide some sort of communication line between the office staff (project managers & estimators) and the warehouse staff. I like that all of the tools, equipment and materials are customizable in terms of name, price, etc. Took a while to build out but it's nice to have our own data in there.

**What do you dislike about ToolWatch?**

I hate that it takes 4+ hours to sync with our ERP system, Sage300 and that integration is abysmal. In the demo we received, we were told this integration was flawless and would be improved upon.  I do not like that in the 2+ years we have had ToolWatch, they have done no improvements (to my knowledge) on the desktop app which is what we primarily use.

**What problems is ToolWatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem is that we wanted to eliminate paper tool requests. This has been solved, for the most part, but as most companies will report, communication can always be improved upon.

**What do you like best about ToolWatch?**

TW is easy to learn and thrive, even if coming in as a beginner.

**What do you dislike about ToolWatch?**

Not much to dislike but possibly could be more Mobile friendly for field employees.

**What problems is ToolWatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

keeps tools/equipment organized by job and personnel, so a true number is known when it comes to inventory.

**What do you like best about ToolWatch?**

well probably one of the best things are you can use this system at your phone, ipad, computer.

**What do you dislike about ToolWatch?**

the app in phones and iPad loses so many options like in the computer system you have access. 
On the phone, I can't have access to the transaction history for the tools.

on computer system, when I do purchase orders, when I finished the order I don't save the order because then I can't modify anything like prices and need to keep it as a draft order.

will be good if when I update the prices that update for all (work orders, Material models, material browser).

**What problems is ToolWatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

well is good to keep all together in one system.

TW is easy to get started and can grow as the company grows

Not much to dislike. There is a lot of capability and just have to figure out what works for your company

TW is feature rich but also easy to implement and training/Support is top notch.

We had no idea what tools and assets we had and at what job site. We were buying tools we did not need. We now know where things are and are saving money and time searching for tools and buying tools we don't need.

It has help me check on the efficiency of the tool before engaging it for work.it has also help me manage the materials and therefore all materials are used effectively. It has helped control the misuse of materials.

So far there is no dislike since I started using it.

Since it is easy to manage, track and ensure proper utilization of material it is the best for project work.

It has enhanced proper material utilization hence less wastage and little loss,it has made it easy to manage and check on the efficiency of machines before exposing to work.

ToolWatch Enterprise improves the management of tools and equipment.
All tools in the system are tracked so no need of tracking missing tools. 

**What do you dislike about ToolWatch?**

So far I don't have any issues with the software.
It is quite expensive. 

**Recommendations to others considering ToolWatch:**

I highly recommend the use of ToolWatch Enterprise software since it improves management of tools in an organization without compromising on their gains.

I use ToolWatch Enterprise for easy management of tools and equipment in our industry.
So far our tools have been managed efficiently without compromising our gains.

**What do you like best about ToolWatch?**

I like that it is cloud based, which allows me to access my information anywhere I go. the smartphone app has really made it very easy to keep track of all my information. 

**What do you dislike about ToolWatch?**

Like any other platform, things can be tedious and finicky. It is still a somewhat new service, so that is to be expected. Other than that there is not too much to complain about.

Use there customer support when setting up.

I don't know if any problems have been solved, but rather things have been facilitated. It makes Managing a million times easier.

**What do you like best about ToolWatch?**

The reporting features are easy to read, and explain everything I need to know.  The job audit process using the count inventory allows for immediate feedback and can let the auditor know exactly what is going on while performing his tasks

**What do you dislike about ToolWatch?**

Our biggest issue is the syncing, but it the scheme of things it is small.  It's more an annoyance than anything.

**Recommendations to others considering ToolWatch:**

Go to Denver and take the course.  There's no better way to learn how to use this software.  

**What problems is ToolWatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are keeping better tabs on where our tools are, and how long they are on a site for.  It has allowed us to recognize what tools should be a standard on a jobsite, and what tools really only need to be there for a short duration.

**What do you like best about ToolWatch?**

Access from any location or PC is great. The platform is easy to use and offers many layers of tracking for materials and equipment. Basic set up is easy and straightforward in order to get your inventory tracking up and running. I look forward to growing within the program to the many built in modules like purchasing and billing. I recommend the online training resource for anyone using the program on a regular basis. The training videos are simple and to the point and are easily selected to focus on only what you need to learn as you work within the program. 

**What do you dislike about ToolWatch?**

The syncing to the cloud is a bit inconsistent. There have been times that inventory transactions have been processed but don't show up on reporting until manually syncing with the cloud data source. I would consider this a manageable challenge and if you are working with your inventory regularly you will notice any issues right away and they are easily fixed by the manual syncing feature.

**What problems is ToolWatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking multiple locations has been a challenge for or organization. Tool Watch allows us to keep minute to minute tracking for as many different locations, divisions and employees as we want. Program setup I found is highly flexible and can be designed to a very company specific organization tree.
