One more platform worth considering is Dreamcast. It’s more of a complete event tech suite rather than just a registration tool, so it can handle everything from event registration, ticketing, and payments to check-ins, attendee engagement, virtual/hybrid events, networking, and analytics in one place.

What stands out is that it works well for both in-person and virtual/hybrid events without feeling overly complex for mid-sized teams. The platform also offers features like QR check-ins, badge printing, AI-powered networking, attendee communication tools, and customizable event flows, which helps reduce the need for multiple separate tools.

If your goal is to scale events while keeping operations streamlined and attendee experience smooth, it’s definitely worth comparing alongside Cvent, Whova, and Eventbrite.

Hi, I don't know if this is still relevant, but Eventee also offers registrations and a check-in app! The platform is ranked as the easiest mobile event app here on G2, so no massive learning curve! It also allows hosting invite-only events with a specific allowlist and PIN code. The Groups feature lets event managers segment attendees into groups so VIP attendees can have access to different features and event content. If you're sceptical, you can try it yourself with an unlimited free trial, no strings attached, and no credit card needed.

You might also want to look at Dreamcast. it’s becoming a major competitor in this space with advanced registration, payments, attendee engagement, and reporting tools. For mid-sized companies, it offers customized solutions as per your needs and budget.

Anyone here use these tools for VIP or invite-only events? We run a few exclusive gatherings and want something that can handle private lists smoothly.
