**What do you like best about ClearPoint Strategy?**

There is a lot of flexibility in how you can set up your strategic plan, and they help you along the way.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

There's a learning curve, but that is mostly due to the crazy amount of things it can do. Unless it's your full-time job, you can't learn everything.

We are about to build our next strategic plan. We've talked several times over the past 6 months in preparation before the plan is ready to be set up in Clearpoint

**What do you like best about ClearPoint Strategy?**

The application allows us to capture, monitor, and report the department's performance metrics and strategic initiatives. We are still learning all of the features, but I see potential for us to use these features more efficiently to improve our work processes. The application is customizable to include logos, color palettes and layout of the various elements. The tutorials are great and seem to work for some training purposes. Andrew Middleton has been great to work with. He is patient, kind and supportive. He responds quickly and is willing to meet me where I am at with the application to teach me more about its utilization.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

The learning curve for our staff when using the application has been difficult. As different people learn and comprehend in different ways, the tutorials may only provide assistance for some, but not all. There are so many components of the application to learn, it is difficult for a lead person to work with many other responsibilities to perform the work and share with others. This may be an internal issue with our organization. It seems that I need to focus on managing this work 100% of my time rather than the 10-15% of my time that I have to devote to PMs/Scorecards.

ClearPoint provides an application to store data, monitor metrics, compilation of reports and project management.

The appeal of ClearPoint is it's potential.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

My reservations about the product are that there can be a big learning curve for account admins, and you need to be able to dedicate a lot of time to it in the beginning. We also did not have enough of our performance management system established to make the best use of our onboarding team because we weren't sure what we wanted, which isn't the fault of CP, but a word of caution to others that it would be wise to have a good structure in place before making the jump to a system like this.

**What problems is ClearPoint Strategy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our health department lacked alignment between our Strategic Plan, Community Health Improvement Plan, Workforce Development Plan, and Quality Improvement/Performance Management Plan. ClearPoint is helping us to create more alignment between all of those, and to formalize our performance management efforts, which has been long overdue.

**What do you like best about ClearPoint Strategy?**

The ClearPoint Strategy technology solution is an excellent product with superior support.  Implementation of this user-friendly product has been intuitive throughout our onboarding experience.  As new users, our employees have been very pleased with the funcitionality and features, including the personalized workspaces for KPIs and initiatives for which they are responsible. The interconnectivity of the chat function within the application and our email system is convenient and easy to use.  Of particular interest has been the built-in flexibility to build the Level 1 enterprise scorecard with the options to build out departmental scorecards, as needed (levels 2, 3, etc.).  The ability to roll data up, push data down, or extract it from our data integration processes depending on the KPI is extremely convenient.  One of the reasons for selecting ClearPoint Strategies solution was their strategy success framework for launching implementation, which has enabled us to to evaluate our own existing corporate strategy and where we are as a company in the strategy maturity process.  It has been an excellent tool to use!

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

Everyone at ClearPoint we have encountered has been extremely helpful and responsive.  I haven't encountered any downsides of this product or their services and support.

**What problems is ClearPoint Strategy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This solution is helping us resolve our issues with inconsistent data and internal assumptions, data integrity, and duplicative reporting across multiple departments and the excessive use of spreadsheets... it will not only consolidate the data, standardize the reporting, and minimize reporting timelines, it will also be available for all employees to view, keeping our corporate strategy, KPIs and initiatives alligned and visible for all employees and management.

ClearPoint streamlined our stagetic planning process! The onboarding team (specifically Marissa) made understanding how to utilize the software simple. I love the ability to see all of our data at a glance with easy-to-understand visual repesentations. Our reporting structure for meetings is now SO much easier as well!

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

The only thing I dislike about the software is the milestone evaluation process. I'd prefer for the completion percentage to be evaluated based on # of milestones completed as opposed to basing completion on milestone deadline dates.

**What problems is ClearPoint Strategy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClearPoint makes our strategic plan easy to understand. It also provides a central hub of data that makes running department, executive team, or board meetings much easier. It's nice to have all of our data in one spot with visual graphs to understand how we are tracking on our strategic plan and goals.

ClearPoint Strategy makes strategic planning and performance management incredibly efficient. The automated reporting saves time by eliminating manual data collection, and the customizable dashboards provide clear, real-time insights into key initiatives. I also appreciate the seamless collaboration features, which help keep teams aligned and accountable. Its ability to integrate with various data sources ensures that all performance metrics are in one place, making decision-making much easier.

While ClearPoint Strategy is great for tracking goals and performance, the user interface feels a bit outdated and could be more intuitive. I like that ClearPoint can show alignment between plans and performance measures. The client support is always exceptional.

Some pieces don't feel very intuitive for non-technically minded people but once you work through the process, it's great.  Help is always available.

**What problems is ClearPoint Strategy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows all of our plans to be in one place and links between plans can be made.  Reporting is easy, especially with almost 100 users.

**What do you like best about ClearPoint Strategy?**

As a new user of ClearPoint, Andrew Middleton has been extremely helpful as our main point of contact in navigating the many functions of the platform. He has helped us maximize our utilization to best serve our organization and make it as user-friendly as possible for our colleagues who are reporting data. We have been able to accurately and easily track progress towards annual measures we set at the beginning of each fiscal year. One of my favorite functions of ClearPoint is the ability to rewatch meeting recordings which are saved in the “Success Portal”. This has allowed me to reference pathways and functions that Andrew guided me through without the need to take extensive notes during meetings.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

As with many platforms, ClearPoint does have many functions that are not well-known unless you actively seek them out specifically. Once you learn all of the things it can do, it is quite user friendly. However, it is a continuous learning process as someone who doesn’t have advanced technical skills.

**What problems is ClearPoint Strategy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to using ClearPoint Strategy, our organization didn't have a great way of tracking measures of progress towards our strategic goals. Now, we have a very organized system that tracks for us with very little effort on the user side. Team leads input data on measures once a quarter, and ClearPoint does the rest. This has allowed us to accurately measure our productivity, efficiency, and impact as an organization.

ClearPoint is incredibly user friendly which makes it easy to have people from all levels of the organization, from the City Manager to data input staff, use the system in the way that works for them.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

This isn't so much as a dislike but my own time management issue.   ClearPoint is always improving and it can be a bit much to keep up to date with all the new improvements.

**Recommendations to others considering ClearPoint Strategy:**

After the demo, reach out to other organizations to hear about how they are using the software.

**What problems is ClearPoint Strategy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem solved is the housing of performance measures owned by 22 different departments with over a 100 users.  We used to hold our data in multiple spreadsheets  with multiple tabs which made the management of the data  nearly impossible.  We also house our Citywide Strategic Plan as well as department business plans in ClearPoint, which makes it available for all staff to view and track.

**What do you like best about ClearPoint Strategy?**

The best thing I liked was the sense of building a relationship with us and not just saying "here is the application, best of luck." Another thing was that when we encountered issues, they were addressed quickly and in a cooperative manner. There was no finger-pointing. Lastly, the biggest "like" is simply the ease of use, as the application is very intuitive after a little exploration.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

Honestly, there are no downsides at this moment. However, as a suggestion from a project management standpoint, I would say this: I think sticking to or reinforcing the onboarding process with the "Success Portal" could have been emphasized a little more. While we worked directly with Ted, who was amazing, I feel the Success Portal could have been leveraged a little more to help maintain a structured approach to things.

ClearPoint is helping us transition from manually reporting KPI information using spreadsheets to a more efficient and automated workflow. This will enable us to report more promptly and present the same information to all levels of the organization in various formats. It is about promoting transparency within the company and understanding our objectives.

As a first-time user, ClearPoint Strategy has been super useful for our organization to streamline our strategy reporting and management.  It is easy to track, generate and share reports with stakeholders. Every time I needed help, the support team was incredibly patient and thorough in assisting me through everything. Their guidance made the whole process much smoother.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

The user interface isn't always super intuitive, which sometimes made navigation a bit challenging and the need to reach out to customer support.

The graphs & reports that ClearPoint produces are very helpful visual tools that keep us on track with goals, & the team (specifically Andrew Middleton) have been very helpful in addressing questions.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

It can be a little difficult to get everything to appear as I'd like, but the team has helped me resolve some of that. I also don't love how when you open a Measure tab from the Default scorecard page or search for a specific owner, the Default list will reset every time instead of keeping its place. It can be annoying to have to scroll over & over when there are so many goals.

**What problems is ClearPoint Strategy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping us keep consistent track of goals and targets in a uniform way across multiple departments & programs.

Our strategy team has been very impressed with not only the customizable platform for our County's unique setup, but also with the consistent and reliable support from the setup team, and the clear communication from start to finish.

I have no complaints about the platform or any of the people we have worked with along the way.

Our organization has been lacking a comprehensive system to manage department programs and efforts, and being able to display how these efforts tie into the overarching initiatives and outcomes. ClearPoint provides this solution. We can show the high-level progress towards acheiving the desired outcomes, we can show where to dedicate more effort toward specific initiatives, and we can dig in to the nitty-gritty of day-to-day operations to see how these all feed into the organization's success.

The staff were the best part of ClearPoint. The technical and account support was invaluable while getting to know a new system. The system itself is straightforward and user-friendly, and the Success Portal trainings filled in any gaps.

Clearpoint is super user friendly. It doesn't take long to learn how to navigate the application. I am most excited about my personal workspace that will serve as a one stop shop for me. I am excited to the use the AI function for data analysis to help make the best decisions possible. Clearpoint has quickly responded to any requests that we have requested and trained us how to make changes in the future. They individualized training plans for our administrators as well as end users. The training has been beneficial and has our end users using the application within 2 months of launching application. Clearpoint has given us a framework for developing our corporate strategy as well as establishing a current state. The onboarding manager has been exceptional and led us through implementation seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

I haven't found anything I don't like yet.

We currently do not have a one stop shop for reporting corporate goals and aligning goals corporately.

My experience with ClearPoint has been extraordinary from the beginning. Two years before becoming a member of ClearPoint's team, the staff continued to invite me to events and treated me as an equal. Then after joining the team, the communication and technical support continued. The City's strategic planning team is now trained and functional within a two-month timeframe.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

The downside is always the learning curve. ClearPoint is always available when help is needed.

In our old environment, making changes and updates to our strategic plan was time-consuming. What took four to six hours now takes 45 minutes. Automation makes it easier for our leaders to incorporate as a business tool.

The support system and employees are top-level, always responding very quickly with in-depth answers to issues.  If there isn't a solution already available they will do their best to craft one!  They have designed the system layout to be nimble and easily re-programmable by Admins.  It does what it claims to do and much more!

Some nagivation issues that add in extra steps unnecesarilly.  Updating information sometimes can be cumbersome. There does seem to be some instability issues as sometimes data/reports displayed incorrectly for a period of time and then suddenly resolving itself usually within a few hours.

ClearPoint has a fantastic onboarding process that allowed us to quickly import our strategic plan and begin managing it in the most efficient way possible. Our Bank used to do all strategic plan updates manually and through several spreadsheets, and the switchover to a flexible, easy-to-use and automated platform has transformed how we manage our process.

Nothing yet! Our experience has been extremely favorable to date. We've been using the system for 6+ months and have not had any glitches or issues that we were unable to resolve.

Clearpoint helps me to communicate the stratgic plan to our internal team. The best part is the customer service.  My rep took additional time to set up our account, much longer and more intensive than most of his clients.

The product has a steep learning curve, at least for a user like me who has to navigate a complex strategic plan for my organization. They offer trainings, tools, and personal support, which has been a lifesaver. I look forward to working in it independently and fully self-serving.

I was looking for a way to move my organization out of excel and into a visualization platform for dashboards and data. What I found in ClearPoint was much more. ClearPoint will allow us to house all our data in one location, automate data population, and link our improvement projects to elements such as departments, strategic values, and key measures. It was a solution for a lot of manual, fragmented processes.

There is a learning curve, and setup has been challenging. But with our ClearPoint Associate Consultant, DeAndre Thompkins, we were able to navigate these hurdles and thoroughly customize the platform to meet our needs.

ClearPoint is giving our organization a single source of truth by housing all our data in one location using modern visualizations and automation that saves us time. Some of the public training sessions were hard to see and follow, according to some of the feedback received by our users. However, later we were able to follow up and obtain clarification.

The ClearPoint sync allows users to enter data without completely learning a new software. We are able to have one Admin who is an "expert" in the software, and all other strategy owners provide their data through excel sync files. Also, the excellent customer service allows the 'expert' to get help whenever needed.

Anyone using the software will need to spend ample time learning the in's and out's of a new software. The features are robust and take some time to understand.

The ability to include charts with my date and to add multiple charts in one mayrix. It makes everything look so professional. I have not used any other software but i love the functionality and ease of use with clear point.

Some of the color bubbles don't always carry over from one charting period to the next. I understand why i just think that it would be good if you had the option to bypass this function.

ClearPoint is a great project management software. It allows you to store all the information for multiple large projects in one place. I like that you can add measures so that you can track progress as you go along. It also allows you to assign different types of roles to a large number of individuals within the organization. I also really love the ClearPoint community. The support we receive from ClearPoint is spectacular. They have even set up a regional ClearPoint conversation since so many organizations in my area are using the software. It's a great opportunity to share what's going well and areas for growth. The team is always open to receiving feedback and working with us on different types of customization needs.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

It seems that the people in my organization who do not use ClearPoint on a regular basis find it cumbersome. Many do not like having another system to log in and find it difficult to navigate once in the system. Even after multiple trainings and recorded videos, my team spends a lot of time trying to help people with ClearPoint when we ask for bi-annual updates. Another area is that while there are customization features, such as using your brand colors, the options are limited. We regularly run reports through ClearPoint, but have received feedback that the format is difficult on the eyes. The ClearPoint team has worked with us on making improvements, but I think there could be more opportunities for enhancing the briefing book/reporting options.

ClearPoint helps us centralize all of our City-wide projects in one location. This used to be very segmented, but with ClearPoint it is easy to find information and track progress. It is also helping us create a culture around good measures. It's so nice that you can link measures to multiple areas to show alignment across the City.

ClearPoint Strategy provides flexible, customizable software that adapts itself to your organization's projects and priorities, with customer support that helps you actually do that. Not only does ClearPoint help us track progress across divisions on branch-wide initiatives, but it also supports us in connecting employees to these projects in meaningful ways. But none of this would be possible without the amazing support ClearPoint provides to its admin users! ClearPoint really goes above and beyond in this respect. It is easy to book appointments with your designated support contact, who will help you learn how to create the system that meets your needs. Ours even checks in with us periodically to see how our major projects are going! This ongoing support truly makes the investment worthwhile for our organization.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

At first, some aspects of the software were challenging to understand, but as I said in my review above, once we connected with customer support, we resolved issues quickly. It was also challenging to ascertain the organizational training needs before working with the software, but I believe those issues have since been resolved.

ClearPoint Strategy doesn't simply create a place for our organization to track initiatives-- it also allows us to dynamically link measures, projects and objectives in ways that show the interrelated connections of activities across divisions. We can use our measure pages to create rich reports containing qualitative and quantitative updates, which is essential for our organization. Creating a system where employees can update the measures they are involved in and access information about how/what other programs are doing has created greater awareness of the links between programs and the various ways our organization is working towards our mission together.

We considered several other possibilities of software providers for our Strategic Planning process. Clearpoint was the most helpful and knowledgable up front...and that first impression has been consistent ever since.

I can't think of anything that isn't working very well. The product has a lot of built-in flexibility, but it is also a turnkey setup. And Clearpoint is there to help whenever you need it.

Clearpoint is very easy to use and understand.  The analytics that are produced are great.  The dashboards are easy to make.  We love working with the Clearpoint Team, they are amazing to work with, very knowledgable and helpful.  They are attentive to our needs and know how to answer the questions we ask.  We love being able to see data sliced and diced in several different ways, quickly.  We love that we can put shared links into Clearpoint and everyone can access them quickly and easily.  I am the administrator for Clearpoint and it is easy to give and take away access to the people who need it.  I can't say enough good things about this product and the Clearpoint team.  Our finished product looked amazing.

I dislike that if you hit the scroll on your mouse it changes the numbers you have input, I feel like this is something that could easily be fixed in a revised edition of the product.  If you use Excel, it is different because you can't just click enter and get to the next box to put your data in.  You actually have to double click in each box you want to enter data into. This is an amazing company that has great customer service.  We are a not-for-profit group and they have gone above and beyond for us.

A benefit of Clearpoint is that we are able to save so much time with this product.  Our group was using excel and PowerPoint, now more than one person is able to make changes, so it isn't a burden.  The finished product looks amazing.  We are able to link a Google sheet into Clearpoint, so it doesn't get lost in the shuffle.

**What do you like best about ClearPoint Strategy?**

From the get go, ClearPoint set themselves apart by treating the pitch process like we were already a client. The client success process is key to getting people ready to maximize the utility of the system and their 'on the fly' brainstorming of solutions helps keep progress happening.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

There's a little too much of an expectation for our teams to do the data tailoring and loading.  Were we a larger organization with a data 'team' who could manage it, it would be infinitely less of a concern. Being a smaller organization (<100), we don't have those resources to rely on so the initial process can be a bit daunting when not working directly with CPS staff.

**What problems is ClearPoint Strategy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting staff on board with strategic planning is a trial in the most successful organizations. It's just a different way of thinking and processing information about your job that can cause more confusion that it solves. The CPS dashboard makes it easy to measure anything we need measured while keeping it simple and accessible for my staff frontline to c-suite.

Not much; functionality was all there - maybe the look and feel of the product could be brought up to date as some aspects still look a bit dated

ClearPoint Strategy can provide a framework to organize a massive amount of diverse information. The features that ClearPoint provides are very versatile and can be applied in different manners, according to how the company needs to organize it. For us, we are using the elements a little bit different than what they were intended for, but it still allows for full use of the ClearPoint

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

I think there are some areas for improvement in reporting, and everyday use for companies who prefer to do more work inside the system. Also, it would be helpful to have more element flexibility between features. For example: I may want to be able to use some of the project management features at a higher element level in clearpoint.

**Recommendations to others considering ClearPoint Strategy:**

The customer support services alone are worth making the switch to ClearPoint Strategy. The level of knowledge and the willingness to help is unmatched by other teams.

**What problems is ClearPoint Strategy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are now able to see our entire enterprise strategic plan in one place, and still manage it. We have a much more robust organization than an average company, and after using multiple systems, ClearPoint has been the solution for us to have it all in one place. The next step for us with ClearPoint is to develop view-only users to access information digitally and to have instant transparency across the organization.

The site is welcoming, easy to find things, its user friendly, and intuitive. As an administrator, you can easily modify reports and pages. I love the undo feature and how you can make many updates or changes on one screen. If you forget to save your work, the system won't let you move off the current screen.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

The prepopulated reporting period in the scorecard is the previous month, and to fix this, you need to remember to override it.

**What problems is ClearPoint Strategy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You can filter and see who is responsible for what in every department. All projects and initiatives are located in the same site, and everyone can view each other's work. We have the ability to create various reports for different reasons.

ClearPoint Strategy also provides webinars on specific topics that are simple and brief.  The customer service is outstanding and they continuously check in on their clients to ensure your success.

I have no dislikes at this time.  I am still learning the software.  However, the support that I receive from the ClearPoint team is outstanding.

Once we implement our new Strategic Plan, ClearPoint will help us identify our strengths and weaknesses and help us identify where we can implement quality improvement efforts to reach our strategic goals. The benefits that we realize is if we use this ClearPoint as intended, we can stay on track with our strategic direction in making improvements in the health of our community and environment.
