We were able to start generating incremental revenue, and tracking it, with all of the great content our customers were already putting out there.
What do you dislike?
It's not the cheapest solution, but at the end of the day, we were able to quantify it as a solid net gain after reviewing with our marketing team.
Recommendations to others considering the product
During the discovery phase, consider getting some case studies/benchmarks from them, and put them up against your current baseline metrics for conversion rate, customer LTV, etc. I think it will help you paint a picture of what kind of ROI you can expect to exceed before committing to the spend on the platform.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
An automated way to leverage social proof both on our product pages, and on our social media channels. One side, automatically feeding the other. Proving the value of social proof was one of the most difficult things to reconcile between our finance and marketing teams, before putting this solution into use. Additionally, we would frequently run contests based on hashtags and tagging our brand, with our products being used in the photos. We would get followers and engagement, but it ended there. Once we implemented Experticity, we were able to use associate all of those user photos with products on our PDP pages. This was a huge win for us as an E-Commerce brand that thrives on social proof.
