We have been able to see just how many emails get blocked for us, as well as easily create rules and policies to allow emails. **What do you dislike about Proofpoint Core Email Protection?** Proofpoint Protection was a bit of a tough learn, as you can easily be engulfed in the many menus and tabs within the software. Once you master the software, you will have no issue. **What problems is Proofpoint Core Email Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?** With Proofpoint Protection, we are now able to allow our users to encrypt their sensitive emails leaving the company walls, as well as catch spam and phishing emails with ease. ### 40. The product is very aggressive, which is what we were looking for. Once set up the product is easy to maintain. **What do you dislike about Proofpoint Core Email Protection?** Currently the product is an outdated interface that requires some time to get familiar with. Also, there is a bit of a learning curve to become effective with the product. Also some of the query options are limited. **What problems is Proofpoint Core Email Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our previous email spam filter was not very flexible or effective. Immediately after implementation the Proofpoint system started showing benefits to the company. The product is a lot more customizable which helped us to be more effective in filtering. They are quick to respond and, depending on the situation, are very attentive in sharing screens with you. **What do you dislike about Proofpoint Core Email Protection?** The UI seems a bit old-fashioned. When logging in, many menus and items are displayed, and it is sometimes difficult to reach the desired settings screen. This may not be a bad thing since the software is highly specialized, but it would be great if the UI could be made a little more user-friendly. **What problems is Proofpoint Core Email Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?** Following function helps to solve the problems 1) Protection from Phishing and Spam Emails Proofpoint Email Security and Protection uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to detect phishing and spam emails. This protects organizations from spam and phishing attacks and increases internal security levels. 2) Malware Prevention Proofpoint Email Security and Protection inspects attachments, URLs, and other links to identify those that may be infected with malware. Proofpoint walked us through it and continues to walk us through any questions or modifications. **What do you dislike about Proofpoint Core Email Protection?** There are a couple different portals and sometimes it can be confusing. I think for the most part we only use one and will likely forget the others or lose access to those accounts **What problems is Proofpoint Core Email Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem we are solving is removing the Business Email Compromise issues we encounter. We had been seeing a lot of emails pretending to be our CEO asking for gift cards and more importantly one of our HR vendors asking for some documentation ### 45. They need to provide a seamless experience to the administrators. **What problems is Proofpoint Core Email Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were getting a lot of spam with the solution and a lot of phishing, we frequently had issues with users falling for a phish that would end up replicating to a lot of the users. It takes time, a lot of reading and videos to watch, and at least it is well organized to learn. **What problems is Proofpoint Core Email Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?** E-mail phishing attacks will always happen; however, with Proofpoint, they are also stopped and prevented in the future. Blocking the e-mails combined with TRAP, they are then ripped away from the e-mail server so they are not accidentally clicked on the the end user. ### 47.
