“Google Analytics: The Backbone of Cross-Channel Client Reporting”
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

I'm a marketing strategist at a small agency, and Google Analytics is the backbone of nearly every client report I build across SEO, paid search, and content. What I like best is that it's the one place where I can connect what's actually happening across channels: I can see how organic traffic shifts month to month, tie campaign landing pages to conversions, and back up strategic recommendations with data instead of hunches. The integration with the rest of the Google ecosystem, especially Google Ads and Search Console, means I'm not manually stitching data sources together for every report. And since it's free, the value question answers itself for a small agency managing a dozen-plus clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

The GA4 interface still doesn't feel built for people who live in reports. Things that were one click in Universal Analytics now take an Exploration or three menus of digging, and when I'm building monthly reports across multiple clients, that friction adds up. The reporting interface can also be slow to load, especially with longer date ranges or comparisons. My biggest wish is that the standard reports answered more questions out of the box, because right now it feels like GA4 assumes everyone has time to build custom reports from scratch, which isn't the reality at a small agency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?

Google Analytics solves the 'prove it' problem. As the strategist responsible for SEO, paid, and content across a dozen-plus clients, every recommendation I make needs data behind it, and GA is where that data lives. When a client's organic traffic declines, I can dig into which pages and sources are driving the drop and turn that into a strategic conversation instead of a guessing game. It's also the backbone of monthly client reporting, connecting website behavior to the campaigns we run so clients can see what their spend is actually doing. For a small agency, having one free, universally accepted source of truth for web data means every client conversation starts from shared facts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Unmatched Data Speed”
What do you like best about Semrush?

The biggest thing I like about Semrush is its ability to generate data so fast. Doing it by hand would take so many hours, but now I just rely on this technology to find new things. So far it's been unmatched, no other software can synthesize so much data. There are so many places to look like Google Analytics and Google Search Console, and you'd have to do analysis with your own hands one by one, so Semrush is a big thing for me. I use it as my third analytical tool that kind of closes the loop. I use Claude with MCP and Semrush, which lets me monitor things much easier. Semrush is that little cap I need to fill to make sure things are connecting. Its reputation played a big part in our decision since so many companies use it, and it has the ability to cater to enterprise level companies, which we were looking for. We wanted something holistic that could analyze our whole web and make sure we're in line with other industry websites where we operate. The initial setup was quite straightforward, I just used any of their products, typed in my domain, and it got all the data. It was quite simple, and I can also do competitor analysis. The UI is pretty classic, not some new white coat look, so it's kind of easy to navigate because you've seen things like that before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Semrush?

I find the Semrush apps marketplace a bit underwhelming. There are many tools, but they are spread across different subscriptions., It's hard to keep track of everything., If you wanna get AI rankings, you have to buy different subscription. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Semrush solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Semrush to track our rankings, authority score, and see how our pages are performing. The biggest thing is it generates data so fast, instead of doing analysis by hand one by one across Google Analytics and Search Console. It's my third tool that closes the loop. “Essential for Identifying User Friction Points”
What do you like best about Glassbox?

I love that Glassbox doesn't just show me what users do – it finds why they get stuck. The AI struggle detection is like having a sixth sense for friction points. No endless tags. No guessing. Just actionable insight. The AI struggle detection saves me hours of guessing. Instead of watching dozens of session replays, I get a clear alert: 'Users are stuck here.' It's like having a team member who never sleeps, constantly flagging what's broken. That means I fix problems before sponsors complain or ticket sales drop. Valuable? Absolutely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Glassbox?

I haven't used Glassbox long enough to hit major friction. But if I had to guess: onboarding might feel heavy for non‑technical teams, and session replays could raise privacy concerns without clear filters. Also, for small festivals with tight budgets, the price point might be a barrier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Glassbox solving and how is that benefiting you?

I love how Glassbox identifies why users get stuck with its AI struggle detection, saving me from guessing. It highlights issues early so I can fix them before they affect sponsor satisfaction or sales. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Powerful platform with a learning curve and room for improvement”
What do you like best about Pendo?

Pendo brings product analytics, user segmentation, and in-app guidance together in one platform, which makes it easier to understand user behavior and drive adoption. The no-code guide builder is useful for many common scenarios, and the targeting capabilities are flexible. Once it's set up properly, it can become a valuable tool for product teams and customer success teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pendo?

The platform has a noticeable learning curve, especially for new users. Creating polished guides and managing them at scale can become time-consuming, and some customization options are limited. The interface can feel overwhelming because many features are spread across different areas. I would also like to see stronger AI-assisted authoring, better workflow automation, and a more intuitive overall experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“PostHog Gives a Complete, Connected View of the Customer Journey”
What do you like best about PostHog?

PostHog is one of the most useful tools for understanding what users actually do inside a product. I really like that analytics, funnels, session recordings, feature flags, experiments, surveys, and dashboards are all connected in one place, rather than being split across several different tools. The session replay feature is especially valuable because it lets us observe real user behavior, spot friction points, and better understand where and why users drop off. It also makes product and marketing decisions much easier, since we can tie user actions to clear data instead of relying on guesswork. Overall, PostHog provides a very complete view of the customer journey and helps teams iterate and improve the product faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PostHog?

There is not much I strongly dislike about PostHog, but the main downside is that it can feel a little overwhelming at the beginning because it has many powerful features in one platform. Setting up events, dashboards, funnels, and feature flags properly requires some time and planning, especially for teams that are new to product analytics. Some reports could also be easier for non-technical users to understand without needing help from a developer or data person. Overall, these are not major problems, but improving onboarding, templates, and simpler explanations inside the product would make PostHog even easier to adopt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is PostHog solving and how is that benefiting you?

PostHog helps us solve the problem of not knowing exactly how users behave after they enter the product. Before using it, it is easy to rely on assumptions, but PostHog gives clear data through product analytics, funnels, dashboards, and session recordings. It helps us understand where users drop off, which features they actually use, and which parts of the experience need improvement. This benefits us by making product decisions faster, improving onboarding, finding bugs or friction points earlier, and measuring the impact of changes more accurately. It also reduces the need to use many separate tools because analytics, feature flags, experiments, and user feedback can all work together in one platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Session Replays, performance, and errors—all without changing my workflow”
What do you like best about LogRocket?

One of the features I use the most is Session Replay, and it does a lot more than just record the screen. It captures the full context of a session, including user interactions, navigation, network requests, console errors, and other important events, all in one place. Most of the time, replaying a session is enough for me to understand a bug that would've taken hours to reproduce on my own. Even with all that information, moving between session replays, errors, performance metrics, and events feels really smooth. I never feel like I'm jumping between a bunch of different dashboards just to figure out what's going on. Another thing I appreciate is having Core Web Vitals, performance insights, JavaScript error tracking, and network monitoring built into the same platform. Instead of switching back and forth between different tools, I can handle most of my debugging without ever leaving LogRocket, and honestly, that saves me a lot of time every week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogRocket?

One thing I've learned is that Session Replay isn't meant to replace good event tracking. Sometimes I can see exactly what a user is doing, but without the right custom events, I'm still missing the "why" behind those actions. That's where good instrumentation makes all the difference. LogRocket is already a great tool on its own, but once you combine it with a solid analytics strategy, it becomes much easier to understand what's actually happening instead of just watching a replay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LogRocket solving and how is that benefiting you?

Every time we roll out a new feature, I like to spend some time watching how people actually use it. There's almost always a gap between the way we think something will work during development and what real users end up doing. LogRocket is usually one of the first tools I open after a major release. More than once, I've noticed buttons people completely overlook, forms that create unnecessary confusion, or workflows that seem obvious to us but not to the people using the product. Those little discoveries have led to improvements we probably wouldn't have made otherwise. That's what I value the most. Instead of relying only on charts and usage metrics, I can actually see how people interact with the product, and that gives me a lot more confidence when it's time to decide what to improve next. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Strong Technical Analysis, Needs Improved Competitor Insights”
What do you like best about Lumar (formerly Deepcrawl)?

I find Lumar's technical analysis report to be really good and quite competitive in the market. It is especially helpful in identifying pages that are linked and unlinked through the crawl, which is great for getting to know any website. This feature was quite beneficial while analyzing a website, especially for our team, which was new to the organization, as it helped us to understand the purpose of each section. Additionally, the initial setup of Lumar was quite easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lumar (formerly Deepcrawl)?

We did not receive much in terms of competitor metrics. It mainly targets the technical part of SEO, so I feel the main downside is the lack of competitor data. Overcoming this could make it one of the best tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Lumar (formerly Deepcrawl) solving and how is that benefiting you?

“User-Friendly Interface, But Billing Needs Improvement”
What do you like best about Lucky Orange?

We started using Lucky Orange about a year ago, and one of the first things that struck me was how approachable the interface is. A lot of analytics tools feel like you need a manual to get anywhere, but our whole team picked this up fast, including people who don't live in marketing dashboards all day. The HubSpot integration was another reason we stuck with it. Keeping that data in one place instead of bouncing between tabs saves a real amount of friction.

Setup was painless too. Inviting people and spinning up dashboards is quick, so it didn't become one of those tools only one person on the team actually knows how to use.

Session recordings are the feature I get the most out of, and it's become something I check almost daily. Being able to watch how someone actually moves through a checkout flow tells me far more than a funnel chart ever did. We caught a broken coupon field on mobile this way that had been quietly killing conversions for weeks, and our analytics never would have flagged it.

The heatmaps are useful too, though I lean on them less. Where they earn their keep is settling internal debates. When someone insists a CTA needs to move above the fold, I can pull up the scroll data and show that 70% of visitors are getting there anyway.

A couple of things worth mentioning for anyone considering it. The live chat add-on surprised me. We turned it on expecting it to be a minor feature and it's now where a decent chunk of our support conversations start. And the dashboard segmenting by traffic source has been handy for spotting that our paid visitors behave completely differently from organic ones.

The performance side has held up well for us too. The tracking script hasn't caused any noticeable slowdown on our pages, which was a real concern before we signed up since we'd been burned by a heavier tool in the past. The newer AI features are a mixed bag so far. The automatic summaries that flag notable sessions save me from scrubbing through hours of recordings, and they're usually pointing me at the right ones. The AI-generated insights are hit or miss, sometimes stating the obvious, but when they surface something I hadn't thought to look for it's a nice time-saver. I'd treat it as a helpful assistant rather than something to fully rely on.

Downsides: on a high-traffic site you'll burn through your recording quota faster than you'd expect, so you end up sampling rather than capturing everything. And the interface can feel cluttered when you first log in. It took me a few weeks to figure out which reports I'd actually use versus the ones I'd open once and forget.

Overall it's earned its spot in our stack. It's not the flashiest tool, but it answers the question "what are people actually doing on the site" better than anything else we've tried. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucky Orange?

The one area I'd flag for improvement is how billing tier upgrades are handled. We manage payments through a service that issues virtual credit cards with fixed spending limits tied to each vendor. When we exceeded our contact limit, Lucky Orange automatically upgraded us to the next tier without any advance notice. The higher charge itself was reasonable given the overage, but because it came without warning, it exceeded the predefined limit on our virtual card and the payment failed.

The impact is that a billing change we would have approved instead turned into a declined payment and the scramble that follows, which isn't a great spot to be in for either side. A simple fix would solve it: an email notification before an automatic tier upgrade takes effect, explaining the change and the new amount. That heads-up would let customers adjust card limits or budgets ahead of time and avoid the failed transaction entirely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Lucky Orange solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Lucky Orange, our analytics could tell us what was happening but never why. We could see that our mobile checkout had a high drop-off rate, but the numbers didn't explain the cause, so we were left guessing and shipping fixes that didn't move the needle.

Watching real session recordings changed that. The clearest example: we'd been struggling with checkout abandonment for weeks, but once we started watching recordings we found a coupon field that was broken on mobile and silently blocking conversions. Our funnel reports never flagged it because the sessions just looked like ordinary drop-offs. We fixed it within a day of spotting it, and recovered conversions we'd been quietly losing the entire time.

It's also cut down a lot of internal back-and-forth. Debates about page layout or where a CTA should go used to drag on with no way to settle them. Now we pull up heatmap and scroll data and make the call in minutes instead of meetings. The live chat feature has been a bonus on top of that, becoming one of the main places our support conversations now start.

The overall benefit is that we spend far less time guessing. We can watch what people actually do, find the specific thing that's broken or confusing, and fix it, instead of running blind tests and hoping something works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Most importantly, the platform updates automatically, so we’re always working with fresh insights without having to spend hours digging for them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Delve AI?

There isn’t much to dislike, but if I had to point out something, I would say the amount of insights can feel overwhelming at first. It takes a little time to figure out which reports are the most relevant for day-to-day use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Delve AI solving and how is that benefiting you?

Delve AI helps us understand our customers and competitors in a way that would take a lot of time and resources to do manually. Before, we were piecing together information from different tools and still didn’t get the full picture. Now, we get clear customer personas, buying behaviors, and competitor insights all in one place. This saves us a huge amount of time, but more importantly, it gives us confidence in making marketing and product decisions. The benefit is that we can move faster, personalize our campaigns better, and stay ahead of competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Powerful analytics tool for deep user insights and data driven decisions”
What do you like best about Adobe Analytics?

What I like best about Adobe Analytics is the depth of insights it provides. It goes beyond basic traffic metrics and helps understand user behavior at a granular level, which is very useful for making data driven decisions. The real time reporting and advanced segmentation features make it easy to analyze different user groups and identify trends quickly. I also like how well it integrates with other Adobe tools, which makes it more powerful when used within the Adobe ecosystem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Analytics?

What I dislike about Adobe Analytics is that it has a steep learning curve, especially for new users. The interface can feel complex at first, and setting up reports or dashboards may require some training. It can also be relatively expensive, which might not be ideal for smaller teams or organizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?

Adobe Analytics solves the problem of limited visibility into user behavior and fragmented data. It brings all analytics into one place and provides detailed insights into how users interact with websites or applications. For me, it helps in identifying user patterns, optimizing campaigns, and improving overall performance. It also enables better decision making by providing accurate and actionable data.

Overall, my experience with Adobe Analytics has been positive, especially in terms of gaining deeper insights and improving digital strategy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Original Information
“A very extensive and fast program”
What do you like best about Mixpanel?

I really like the new design of dashboard and new brand design overall. Also I started using session replies and those have proven to be very useful in pinpointing circumstances when users are having problems in my projects, and how to resolve them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

From the beginning I have an issue with opening dashboard, not much of an issue, more like small 'error'. The screen for short second displays that I do not have access to the selected dashboard. The first few times I thought this was real issue, but now I know this is just some display issues, hope in the future this could get fixed, for more smooth experience. You won't find a better stats tool anywhere! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?

Thanks to mixpanel, I can find out what functions of my application people use most often, which allows me to focus on improving the functions that users use. With help of the stats of certain user, which doesn't use my program much, I can ask an opinion about my program, so I can know, what must be upgraded or improved. “Leadlander Delivers Trusted, Daily Value with Intuitive B2B Visitor Identification”
What do you like best about LeadLander?

I’ve tested numerous website visitor identification software platforms over the past few years, and I still haven’t found a B2B visitor identification solution that builds trust the way Leadlander has for my agency and our clients. As marketers representing sales-driven companies that invest premium dollars in Google Ads, social campaigns, and account-based marketing strategies, we’ve found Leadlander delivers daily value. It helps us and our clients verify website visitors and continue conversations with warm leads that didn’t convert through our landing pages or main website strategies.

The solution is priced fairly, and the backend is intuitive while still being simple to use. Its built-in AI functionality has also been helpful when cold emailing. On top of that, the company provides above-average support and customer service, and I consider our partnership with Leadlander beneficial for our brand as well as our B2B clients. I highly recommend this software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LeadLander?

Nothing. Leadlander gets the job done and performs up to our expectations. It's a very small investment that has proven to be the foundation of our marketing strategy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LeadLander solving and how is that benefiting you?

Leadlander accurately identifies website visitors. It's helped our marketing agency better understand our site visitor demographic and also when paired with our cost per conversion metrics, it has lowered the cost per qualified lead significantly, by 30+% for every agency client we utilize it for!
