What do you like best about Donorbox?

I absolutely loved the trial experience with Donorbox. Setting up Donorbox was extremely easy, as I could integrate and connect our PayPal account within minutes, include our branding colors, and incorporate our messaging for donor communications. It was surprisingly simple. Donorbox effectively solves the problem of providing an easy way for us to communicate donation methods to potential donors, which saves time in receiving donations for our nonprofit. I find the ease of use and the simplicity with which people can donate via our site most valuable, along with the quick integration with PayPal for fast donation receipt. The low cost of Donorbox is another appealing factor, making it a service I would consider using again in the future. The check-out process felt a bit clunky for us in verifying item pickup/check-out. We may not be doing it in the most efficient way (not sure!), but we had so many silent auction items in various categories that we typed in the item name to pull it up and mark it as picked up (we had the auto-pay at bid win turned on, so payments were not a concern). However, we couldn't find an easy way to view items not picked up/fulfilled versus not bid on/won. This caused an issue where we packed up a couple items to ship back (they were on loan to us), and actually had to process a refund for the bidder when they reached out a couple days after the auction closed - losing quite a substantial amount raised for our organization. I love the customer service team at Zeffy; they are excellent, reply quickly, keep me informed of any troubleshooting, provide excellent training tip videos, and make important changes based on clients' feedback. It's such a relief these days! The initial setup was really easy; the help tools for creating an import file were straightforward and everything went extremely well. Plus, Zeffy has allowed us to step up our membership tracking and communicate more professionally. I also appreciate that it is $0 to use and more than one board member can access the data, making it hugely efficient. What do you dislike about Zeffy?

Where I see limitations that could easily be improved is their export files and reporting. Export files are clunky and seem to be individualized by category (contact or payment - why can't that be combined?). There is no unique reporting, and I know the back-end platform is HubSpot, so I believe this feature could be 'turned on' and would allow more functionality of our data. There is no good or custom reporting in Zeffy, and the current ones are clunky and create a lot of manual clean-up in order to be useful. What do you like best about iMIS?

The IQA system and panel creation features, along with the excellent Form Builder tool, really stand out. iMIS makes it much easier to create IQAs, extract information, and generate reports compared to other systems I have used. What do you dislike about iMIS?

There's a lot of things that would be great to have, without having to purchase extra services or integrations. Another thing that stands out, would be to be able to delete questions from events, that way if your copying an event from a prior year, you can just delete the questiosn that you don't need, and leave the ones that you do. What do you like best about Stampli?

I believe Stampli will help my company hold our accounting department accountable (haha) for making sure our vendors are paid on time and that invoices are being sent to the correct department. The AI side of things makes invoices very easy to use, and has seemingly helped our accounting department with matching PO's to who they're supposed to go to. We had a hour long training session, but everything is honestly so easy to use and implement that we all feel we didn't really need it. I haven't had to use customer support yet, strictly because of how simple it is. This has been a slow month for us, so I haven't used it a ton, but I will say that I haven't had any issues of invoices not getting paid since starting Stampli. The CMS is great - very intuitive and allows us to easily update our website and provide our members with diverse and highly customisable content. The CRM allows us to track membership, follow individual members and categorise different groups of members. The Events function is wonderful, as it allows us to create a range of events with details and communications. We are able to charge various amounts for different types of registrations and include sub-events (which is how we are creating the event page for our conference). Payments are effective and there is a flexibility for the members and our staff. The Email Centre is great for communicating with members as a whole, and groups of members. What do you like best about Glue Up?

We implemented Glue Up in early 2025 and it has been really useful for events, email campaigns and contact management so far. We were previously using Eventbrite for event registration, but Glue Up is much better as it is a CRM function and has allowed us to combine data from multiple places. The system is easy to use and there is training available. We use it for all of our major events and are starting to use it for memberships too.

What do you dislike about Glue Up?

It will take quite a bit of time to set up and configure your account. You may need to allow more time for the setup process than your implementation manager will want you to take, so keep this in mind when planning. We have been able to combine data from multiple sources, and this has been a big time-saver. What do you like best about Paystand?

Paystand was our first step into the digital payments space. We handled ACH business transactions before, but that process was incredibly arduous and time consuming. We find the most value in the Paystand Autopay feature in NetSuite. Enrolling a customer is very simple, and collecting their payments is even easier. We went from manually charging about 80 customers using our legacy ACH, which took us 2 full a days per week, to running over 275 customers on autopay effortlessly. What I like most about it is that is very configurable. We could not use a rigid solution that only ran transactions a single time every week or month. However, paystand lets us decide when to turn on Autopay per customer and even turn it on/off for certain invoices, which makes the transition for customers very seamless. It has tremendously reduced the amount of time and effort we spend on ACH transactions, and the value only increases the more customers we add. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paystand?

The biggest drawback we've had using Paystand is the amount of time it takes to notify us about a bounced ACH for insufficient funds or bad account number. For example, if a customer makes a payment on a Tuesday, we won't know if that payment truly clears until the following Tuesday. We will still get credited 1-2 days after the initial payment, but if it bounces, that payment is reversed. Then we're left to go back and try to recollect a week later. Our company experiences a high volume of bounced transactions, so being notified about them after 7 days is pain compared to the standard 2-3 days when depositing a check. Wave Invoicing is one of the best user-friendly cloud invoicing software I used. What do you like best about Checkbook?

What do you dislike about Checkbook?

This company is fraudulent and a scam, and they do not answer the phone. I received two checks through email from America PAC for the Elon Musk petition referral program. Checkbook.io sent the checks.

I deposited the checks via mobile deposit and my bank flagged the checks and shut my account down saying the checks were fraudulent. When I tried to dispute this matter and explained that they are not fraud, Wells Fargo told me they require verification from Checkbook.io to prove the checks were legitimate. I sent over 30 detailed emails as well as attempted to call them. When you call them, it says “no support agents are available. Leave your number and email and someone will get back to you” and nobody ever calls you. I've called over 100 times.

All I needed them to do was call from a verified phone number and tell my bank the checks were legitimate. They couldn’t even do that.

What financial business does not operate using the phone? It makes no sense.

When I finally do get an email back, it isn’t helpful at all, and my support inquiry is closed and marked completed.

My bank is closing my account on 2/4/25 if I can’t get the checks verified by then. My funds are being held by bank, and I will have to have my long awaited checks recalled and then re-issued if I can’t get this done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Assembly?

I really appreciate how easy Assembly is to use and how intuitive the navigation feels. The UI is modern, clean, and well-designed, which makes daily work much smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Assembly?

One challenge we have is that the message section doesn’t sync properly when using separate internal users. The messages appear as unread even when they’ve already been opened by someone else. Because of this, we currently have to share one internal user account.

Another limitation is that we can’t click directly on a user’s name within a message channel to go to their profile. Instead, we have to copy the name, switch to the CRM, paste it, and manually open the profile — which adds unnecessary steps.

It would also be helpful if the total message count showed the number of channels (users) instead of total messages, and if the counter didn’t stop at 99+ but displayed the actual number.

In addition, several automations don’t seem to work reliably and often fail without showing a clear error. For example, automations involving tag updates frequently fail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about FanAngel?

The fundraiser campaign was extremely easy to set up and launch. Rhonda, the customer rep, was very helpful and made the experience seamless. Simple and extremely helpful video tutorials to help get started. Rhonda customized the campaign webpage without us lifting a finger. It was very easy to follow the progress and know exactly which players did their part and how much they raised. The funds were directed into the school account without a hitch.
