Some of the more advanced features can take a while to learn, especially for new users. Pricing can also get expensive as your business grows and you need to add more features or additional users. Xero helps solve the problem of managing accounting tasks manually and keeping financial information organized. It makes invoicing, expense tracking, bank reconciliation and financial reporting much easier and reduces the amount of time spent on repetitive bookkeeping. This helps me stay on top of my finances, reduce errors and have a clearer view of my business’s financial position. Overall, it saves time and makes day to day financial management more efficient. Zeffy solves one of the biggest challenges for a growing nonprofit: having an affordable and efficient way to collect donations and manage fundraising without losing funds to platform fees. Unfortunately, I wish I had learned about Zeffy before falling into the pitfalls of S****E (they shall remain nameless lol)! The biggest benefit is that more of every dollar raised can go directly to our program, literally directly into our checking account. Zeffy also saves us time by simplifying several fundraising and donor management tasks, which allows us to really focus our energy on fulfilling our mission and growing our impact. I dislike that we cannot leave certain dimensions open after periods close. I also do not like that once something is created at the entity level, admin cannot make it available at the top level. That seems like something easy for admin to handle. But multiple times it has caused difficulties when something (vendor, user, program, etc) is created at the entity rather than the top level. We have had Sage Intacct as long as I have been with the company. However, other schools do not use Intacct and struggle to report the multiple dmmensions like we do so easily in Sage Intacct. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some of the newest features including the AI Navigator has reduced the time that it takes me to support by members, committees, and board by using this technology really well within Novi.

Novi made my everyday work more efficient and effective by offering things like the QuickBooks Online integration and making it possible to do edits on the website from the frontend. I spend more time now on thought work and less on administrative work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

They have added a subscription to access more of the features. I still think we can get what we need on the free platform, but I am sure much of their focus has been on the paid platform. I still am looking for targeted access for users on just certain campaigns, but it is a minor ask. Still very pleased with the product. One of the biggest challenges with NetSuite is that some processes are not very intuitive, particularly when working with financial reporting and CSV imports. Import errors can sometimes be difficult to troubleshoot because the error messages do not always clearly identify the underlying problem.

Financial reporting can also require significant customization to obtain the information in the exact format needed. I would like to see stronger and more user-friendly reporting tools, especially for cash flow analysis and financial statement preparation.

NetSuite helps us centralize accounting and financial information across multiple entities and provides a consistent platform for AP, journal entries, bank activity, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

One of the biggest benefits for me is the ability to automate processes that would otherwise require significant manual work. For example, CSV imports allow us to upload large volumes of transactions instead of entering them individually, and saved searches help with reconciliations, research, and recurring reporting.

One area that could be improved is the payment process. I use PayPal to receive donations, and I believe the minimum withdrawal amount of $100 per month can be a challenge. This was one of the main obstacles I faced, as it may make it difficult for people running smaller fundraising campaigns to access their donations more easily. The main thing I feel can be improved is the level of customisation available for invoices. The existing options are good, but having more flexibility to customise the layout and fields would be helpful. Refrens is helping me solve the problem of managing quotations, invoices and payment tracking in one place. Earlier, keeping track of invoices and pending payments could become difficult, especially when dealing with multiple clients. With Refrens, I can create invoices quickly, keep client details organised and easily check which payments are pending. This saves time and makes the overall billing process much more organised. There are many steps to verifying your business and setting up payment processing. If you have to change a bank account, you have to go through verification again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I just started a business and was spinning in circles setting up a process to write customer agreements and collect payments. Anchor has both electronic agreements and payment processing integrated so I could put the services right in the proposal, and set how they should be billed. The customer can add their payment method right to the agreement and pay the invoice immediately. For some reason, Bill disallowed the use of certain symbols in their Memo section. They used to allow me to use the @ symbol and additional symbols like that, and now they don't. I found it quite helpful to use those and unnecessarily restrictive. I imagine there's a coding reason for it or something like that, but I wished they didn't change that. I also find the Approval process can be confusing at times, because the steps aren't specifically guided as seamlessly as they are in the iPhone app. The app moves me through the approval process really easily and smoothly. It has been sometimes difficult when creating tickets, it is not so much about the support itself, but it is just as usual in the workforce some situations or wishes are difficult to explain by writing, I honestly support the idea that sometimes a quick meeting could be saving time for us all and avoid misunderstandings Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use to spend hours on solving payment issues with our old providers: lots of issues for payment by credit card from India for example, which required for us to send bankk details and monitor the bank transfers received. The advanced marketing module doesn't allow a preset time to send bulk emails. Someone physically has to push a button to send an email at a certain time.

iMIS online support is great but there should be a phone option for when someone wants to actually talk an issue through quickly. Going backward and forwards via email slows down the help when things go wrong. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

iMIS has allows us to bring all elements of member experience into the one platform including our member video library, article library, event registration and website. This was the largest improvement to our system. It also has improved our member journey through the ability to set up automated communications at join date, six weeks and six months which we could not do automatically in our older system. We can also place personalised alerts against member profiles for ease of meaningful communication when a member calls. The initial API integration required some adjustments on our side and a good understanding of the Monetization data model. We use Tridens Monetization to calculate transaction fees when pricing depends on cumulative volume within a billing cycle and on additional attributes, including source, destination, and account type. Automating these calculations removes a significant amount of manual work, applies the same rules consistently, and makes it easier to introduce or change rate plans. A few things that could use some polish: we've run into occasional outages, which doesn't happen too often but could potentially be an issue if I needed to get an urgent invoice out. I'd also love the ability to export just my search results rather than being forced to export every invoice each time - a small thing, but it'd save a lot of time. Lastly, because of how tightly Tabs integrates with our other systems, there are some restrictions on making manual updates or edits, which can be a bit limiting when we need to make a quick fix on the fly. Our first day implementing Bill360 we had a customer use the "pay now" options and that is already a one time customer that we will not have to reach out to in order to get paid. One area that could be improved is the ability to customize modules that are imported directly from our ChamberMaster system. While I understand this may not be entirely within GrowthZone's control, having a more user-friendly way to customize the appearance and layout of these imported modules would provide greater flexibility and make it easier to create a more cohesive website experience. GrowthZone solved one of our biggest challenges by replacing our outdated, clunky website with a modern, intuitive, and user-friendly platform. The new website is much easier for both our staff and our members to navigate, making it a far more effective communication tool.

For our team, managing and updating the website is much more efficient, allowing us to keep content current. For our members and visitors, important information is now much easier to find. From the homepage, they can quickly see upcoming events, the latest news, member perks, and other valuable resources.

The biggest benefit has been that we can now use our website intentionally, rather than it being a platform we put little thought or effort into. It's become a platform that actively supports member engagement, showcases the value of Chamber membership, and helps us better serve our business community. Sequence consolidated our quoting, contracts, billing, and invoicing into a single system. Instead of stitching together multiple products, we can handle them in one workflow. The calendar is buggy and it doesn't offer me the option of seeing all the calendars of the whole office at the same time. I coordinate the schedule and I need to see everyone's availability. We keep practice info at our fingertips and use it to track time. I also like the task tracking and the ability to set up task flows that trigger the next step on completion of the previous. They were fine for a number of years but things dramatically changed this year. With one day notice they changed their processing timelines from 1 day to 3 days. They then had a series of errors that extended the 3 day fund hold to 6 days. They have done a terrible job of communicating, have been combative, and have turned into an awful partner. They are also, with no notice, instituting burdensome rules that I have not seen from other processors and offering no justification for those rules. My guess is that they had a major fraud incident.
