**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

Zeffy provides everything I had in a very expensive fundraising platform for two years, but it's FREE!!! The support is great during onboarding.

I am able to maintain a contact list, track donations, send emails, raise money, and create quick and easy newsletters, all at no cost to my non-profit.

My favorite feature is Communications, where I can navigate and design a newsletter much like I would use Canva, Word, or PowerPoint. I can drag and drop images, select text boxes for headers and text, and move elements with my cursor. It's actually easier than other formats I've tried.

I can also send an immediate thank-you letter with a tax receipt to any donor. Then, when I have time, I can send a personal message or follow-up note to repeat donors, large-sum donors, etc.

The software is so intuitive that I rarely need to go to the help page, but it's invaluable when I do.

This platform truly is the BEST!

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

I have trouble using a template, renaming it, and creating a new newsletter. A button or direct instructions in the software would be helpful to save me from having to go to the help page. (I only send a quarterly newsletter and forget how it's done).

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

It is fairly simple to use and so many ways to use it. It has everything in one platform such as membership, newsletter, fundraising and so much more. The whole set up and integration process was easier than the other platforms I have used and it is really nice to actually see that our hard work is getting some return in our bank account. Having this free platform made it easier for our small non profit organization to perform better online. The support was fabulous because it was easy to chat with them to find or resolve any issues.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

The downside of Zeffy is not being able to "clone" images that were already created for other events or icons.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving our costs of using a communication platform. We used to have three separate platforms to communicate with our membership, to raise funds, and create newsletters but now thanks to Zeffy, it is all in one place! Also, Zeffy has some kind of pre-created AI algorithms that helps me to create a statement in any event or fundraiser link.

Two things worth exploring. Peer to peer fundraising gives your members their own pages with leaderboards and team sub campaigns, plus automated reminder emails. Tap to Pay turns a smartphone into a card reader for in person collection, with no terminal and no extra hardware.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

We are very pleased with Zeffy. It's easy to use for both the charity and the donor, and donations are credited to our account in a timely manner. We also appreciate that Zeffy allows the donor to choose their "tip" amount. Plus, the custom questions, such as whether the donor would like to be on an appreciate list saves us a step.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

I wish that Zeffy would ask donors if they have company matching funds and if Zeffy could accept DAF and stock donations. If Zeffy could drive more people to donate to our charity or offer matching gifts, that would be great. So far, we have received donations only from people in our network.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zeffy is making it easy for us to receive individual donations to our program which is part of another organization. We were able to avoid / delay updating our DONATE website, and we didn't have to update our accounting systems.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

Once my board and I discovered Zeffy, we haven't turned back. Zeffy is so functional and accessible that it has completely changed the game. It has everything our non-profit needs in order to be successful all in one platform FOR FREE! In a world of cash grabs, Zeffy has helped our little non-profit succeed in celebrating the arts in the Texas Hill Country.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

The only two thing I have noticed throughout using Zeffy is the donation to Zeffy and the bugs. it does occasionally lag to where I have to exit out and go completely back on-- but I know I put this platform through the ringer in terms of work so I am very understanding. I have gotten a good amount of questions when it comes to the "donations" to HCCA when it doesn't necessarily always go to us. I get it! Zeffy has to make money, it just can come off as a little deceitful to some of our audience. We have since then added a statement to campaigns to let people know the donations purpose and their options when checking out. Other than that, we love Zeffy. I recommend it to every non-profit who needs something like this delightful platform.

Zeffy being so accessible and functional benefits our organization immensely. We now have our own little website on their showing our campaigns and donations. We also now use it for our newsletters! Let me tell you, that has made my life so much easier. because Zeffy keeps records of contacts, it automatically keeps them for our newsletter--amazing! The fact that it gives our donors and sponsors a receipt as soon as they check out, customers can do auto-pay and do monthly payments etc, and there's even a member campaign option? It truly does it all and helps us keep our heads screwed on and maintain a functioning non-profit organization.

It really helps that our nonprofit keeps all the funds raised. Zeffy was truly designed with nonprofits in mind. That platform is also incredibly user-friendly, and helps to keep our fund raising events organized.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

For the most part, I honestly have no complaints. I guess if I had to identify one area, it would be that you offer a few more customization and design options.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zeffy solves one of the biggest challenges for a growing nonprofit: having an affordable and efficient way to collect donations and manage fundraising without losing funds to platform fees. Unfortunately, I wish I had learned about Zeffy before falling into the pitfalls of S****E (they shall remain nameless lol)! The biggest benefit is that more of every dollar raised can go directly to our program, literally directly into our checking account. Zeffy also saves us time by simplifying several fundraising and donor management tasks, which allows us to really focus our energy on fulfilling our mission and growing our impact.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

Zeffy is improving all the time. the technical people are responsive and helpful, the organisation as a whole seems open to suggestions and keen to learn from users. Honestly it is rare to find any organisation as keen to work with its users to improve and develop.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

There are some limitations on the creative side and the use of AI can generate some rather fawning and patronising e-mails. I would prefer the ability to customise both the appearance of tickets and e-mails to suit our ethos and brand, but as long as one is aware of the potential for Zeffy to auto-generate trashy mail, it can at least be edited or deleted.

I have been able to win over a technophobe committee by proving that Zeffy is simple to use and an efficient way of issuing tickets for events. It also simplifies the sign up / renewal process for members old and new.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

After extensively reviewing online giving platforms, we determined Zeffy was the clear winner...but honestly thought it all might be too good to be true. Multiple modes of donation (auction, campaigns, one-time fundraisers, team giving), robust database feature, easy list-building, website plug-ins, AND an email newsletter feature for FREE?!? We decided to give it a trial run and here we are, 1.5 years later, even more impressed with it than at the beginning. The customer service is next level, with accompanying webinars and tutorials that are extremely well-crafted and helpful. The communication tools are just what we need. And Zeffy is always making improvements to its operations (for example, the newsletter formatting has improved dramatically in the short time I've been using it). We are massive fans.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

The only downside so far is that adding folks to lists is slightly clunky. It's taken me a minute to figure it out, but this is a small inconvenience, honestly.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows our donors a hassle-free, simple interface for giving. The receipting and end-of-year reporting is a dream. The emails and e-newsletter templates and process are better than ones I've paid for in the past. And the delivery to our bank account is timely, swift, and without error. It solves so much for us!

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

What I like best about Zeffy is that it gives nonprofits access to professional fundraising tools without charging platform fees. As a growing nonprofit, every dollar matters, so being able to keep more of the funds we raise and put them directly back into our programs is incredibly valuable. I also appreciate how easy the platform is to use for donations, registrations, campaigns, and communications all in one place.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

One area that could be improved is the level of customization available, especially when it comes to the design and branding of forms and emails. We would love to have a little more flexibility to make everything feel fully aligned with our organization’s brand. That said, the benefits of the platform, especially the zero-fee model and ease of use, far outweigh those limitations.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The QuickBooks integration has probably been one of the biggest benefits for us. It has made it much easier to keep our fundraising activity organized and has helped streamline the financial side of things for our accountants. As a growing nonprofit, anything that reduces manual tracking and makes reconciliation and reporting easier is a huge help.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

It is very user friendly! You don't have to be a techie to figure it out. Zeffy is run by donation, so organizations like us can essentially use the platform for free- giving us access to tools we may not otherwise be able to afford! (Thank you Zeffy!)

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

We really haven't experienced any downsides. Zeffy allows our donors a choice to publicly declare their support for us or to remain anonymous. They have a choice as to whether or not to donate in support of the Zeffy platform in addition to supporting us. It makes ticketing for our events easy and creates a shareable link or QR code. As an organization it helps us keep accurate records of donations and all donations are direct deposited into our account on a regular basis. All around it has been extremely helpful!

Zeffy has given us so many tools to help fundraise and promote our Nonprofit Women's Choir.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

Our organization loves the easy way to utilize Zeffy for collecting donations or payments. It makes it easy for the user to pay their fees and we benefit by not having to raise our prices to accept card payment, since there are no fees for us!

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

I would love to see an easy to use QR Code - kind of like a venmo payment, without having to answer a bunch of questions - we were thinking we would love to use it to see concessions at the drama show, but we don't need to know all about the person buying a candybar.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zeffy has allowed us to accept credit card payments --- many families no longer have checks - some don't even know how to fill one out! So it allows us to reach a whole new audience of membership. We can easily see how much membership has raised, or our winter festival vendors can pay easily online - no more lost checks or cash to have to monitor.

On keeping it quick, most of what a buyer is asked beyond payment is optional and set by you, so a store or donation form can be trimmed right down before you generate a QR code for it. That alone usually removes the friction you are describing.

Two things worth exploring for the concession stand. Zeffy's Tap to Pay lets a volunteer take a card payment straight from a phone with no reader and no form for the buyer at all, which suits a candy bar better than a checkout page. Zeffy's raffles also work well on a show night, with ticket bundles, prize tiers and 50/50 draws.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

This no-fee platform delivers more than it promised. As a small grassroots nonprofit, I was initially impressed with the offer of free payment processing. But the comprehensive approach to fundraising and event management is what keeps us here. By bringing all the tools together for donations, ticketing, mail campaigns, and donor receipting, we not only save time and effort but can also easily cross-train volunteers for different events and projects. Having one platform for all our activities is a lifesaver. We have used the in-product AI tools to improve donor communications.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

Educating our donors about the optional Zeffy donation is the only detraction we have encountered. Donors are sometimes confused about why there is an additional "fee" until we explain that it is to keep our organization from paying for processing.

We have used Zeffy for donations, ticketing, event management, mail campaigns, and donor receipting. We love that volunteers can be cross-trained to help with different events or teams without having to learn a new system. **What do you like best about Zeffy?**

The most helpful thing about Zeffy is the fact that everything necessary for our organization is available through Zeffy on one platform. Being able to have a POS, an emailing platform, being able to organize payments,etc has been extremely helpful. Additionally it is immensly user friendly and on top of it all, it being free of cost has been able to aleviate so much stress from our non-profit.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

One point of improvement for the platform is the restrictive options when creating an email template. I would appreciate a bit more freedom when creating a format. Additionally, it would be helpful to be able to organize various communications and campaigns into their own specific folders.

Zeffy is able to solve the problem of having to have various accounts for a number of platforms to be able to reach our community for communications, sales, campaigns,etc. It also releives the stress of having to pay for all of these various services.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

1st of all and lastly it is TRULY free. 
Also important to me was how easy it was to get things set up the 1st time I used the platform. It was super easy to integrate everything with my banking and social media platforms.
Just as important is the fact that the forms to create fundraising campaigns are SO user friendly. I used 4 different forms the 1st time I had an event for my non-profit and I could figure all of them out without any training.
I also like the trainings offered by their customer service , because it gives me the opportunity to learn little tricks that I had not figured out for myself.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

As of now, I have not found any downsides while using it for my non-profit.  While I am just getting started in this work and my non-profit is small, I can't see a reason why I would not continue to use Zeffy.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My biggest problem was finding a platform that was "truly" free with using it.  As a new and currently small non-profit, every cent is necessary.  We don't have the means to have our donors pay fees or for the platform to deduct fees. As well, I wanted a platform where I could do all the things I needed (regarding fundraising) in one place.  Zeffy meets that need.  Letters and tax info is sent out for every donation and that is very important for a 501C3 non-profit corp. I just had a major event.  I used Zeffy for raffles, silent auction, peer2peer fundraising and donations.  Everything in one place.

I love that Zeffy is free for nonprofits, with an option for supporters to donate to your platform. It has made church fundraising so much easier because we can use a digital platform without having to worry about extra processing fees. I also really appreciate how simple it is to fundraise for different initiatives or events by creating a straightforward form for each one.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

One challenge we’ve run into is that you can’t use more than one bank account. For example, our church has a general account as well as separate subaccounts for different departments. When a department, like the music ministry, wants to use the platform for a fundraiser, it would be helpful if those funds could go directly into that department’s account.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zeffy has helped us avoid having to make weekly trips to the bank, since most of our members are now paying electronically. On top of that, we can run different fundraisers using a safe, secure link that people recognize and trust. The link is easy to share, and the forms make it simple to explain what each fundraiser or weekly giving opportunity is about.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

I used the app to facilitate raffle ticket sales for two different campaigns as part of a festival fundraising event. Set up on my phone was a breeze, it was easy to choose tickets and amounts and process the transactions, but I really loved the ability for purchasers to enter their contact information for the draws, receive a verification email, and then allow raffle administrators to quickly contact winners, and track sales through the app! So awesome!

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

The only thing I didn’t like was the tip screen that appears before the tap payment prompt screen.  That caused annoyance for purchasers, so I just wound up choosing zero for them and then passing them the phone to complete the transaction. I think it would be better if that prompt could be turned off.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a single app that can be set up and distributed according to roles is an enormous improvement. Also, the layer of visibility into the campaigns and their totaled results updated in real time is valuable information for all roles. We also loved the overall administrative dashboard, and that purchasers could enter their information which really streamed lined the draws

Zeffy gives us multiple fundraising management programs in one place for free! After receiving donations, Zeffy processes them and deposits the money directly into our account. ANother thing Zeffy is fantastic for is when you have an event requiring ticket sales and tracking. Their program is easy enough to use on your phone, and makes checking in guests at an event a breeze. And if you have last minute ticket sales, you can add them right from your phone as well!

I can't think of a single thing that Zeffy does that is a negative. In fact, they continue to improve their programs and offerings.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

What I like best about Zeffy is that it makes nonprofit work feel achievable. As a volunteer leader in both an HBCU alumni chapter and a Black Greek-letter organization affiliate, I’ve seen how much our organizations rely on volunteers who are balancing full-time jobs, families, and other commitments. We often don’t have the budget for expensive fundraising and management platforms, so having a free, easy-to-use tool like Zeffy has been a game changer. It has taken the fear out of fundraising, helped us stay organized, and made it easier to turn ideas into action. I genuinely wish more volunteer-led organizations, especially HBCU alumni chapters and Black community organizations, knew about and used Zeffy because it removes so many barriers to growing your impact.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

My biggest area for improvement would be the mobile experience. Zeffy works extremely well on a desktop or laptop, but many nonprofit leaders and volunteers are on the go or don’t always have access to a computer. I would love to see the mobile experience become more user-friendly and fully optimized, making it easier to manage campaigns, complete administrative tasks, and collect payments directly from a phone. Improving the mobile experience would make an already great platform even more accessible for busy volunteer-led organizations.

Zeffy has helped solve many of the administrative and fundraising challenges that volunteer-led organizations face. It has made it easier to communicate with members, manage event registration, build and maintain contact lists, and raise funds all in one place.

For our HBCU alum chapter and Black Greek-letter organization affiliate (Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated, Beta Tau Chapter), Zeffy has helped us engage members across the country and around the world, strengthen connections among sorority sisters, and increase support for our alma mater, Morgan State University. It has also made fundraising for our endowment scholarship and other initiatives much easier by providing a simple, accessible way for people to donate from anywhere.

Overall, Zeffy has helped us stay organized, save time, and devote more energy to our mission rather than administrative tasks.

We were looking for a way for donors to use a credit card but didn't want to have to pay any fees. There are NO fees for non-profits which is absolutely awesome! When coming to our fundraisers not everyone has enough cash these days so it is so nice to have this option available. I have used it myself several times and it is very simple. I just have people scan a QR code and it just walks them through it to the payment. Love how it sends me an email immediately to let me know that a payment has been received.

I love using Zeffy for fundraising as it allows us to easily and effectively collect peer-to-peer funds. The lack of processing fees is fantastic because it maximizes the amount of money we get from each transaction. The ability to send correspondence through the platform for free is absolutely amazing and customizing the platform for our use at no cost is super nice. I also appreciate the flexibility to utilize different types of fundraising, like auctions and ticket sales. Setting up Zeffy was super easy, and we were up and running in a matter of minutes. Overall, the features that really stand out are the minimal processing fees and the customization options.

As a small nonprofit team, we needed a platform that could do a lot without a steep learning curve — and Zeffy delivers. We've been able to raise funds and run campaigns with real ease. The platform strikes the perfect balance: simple enough to get started quickly, but flexible enough to customize for our specific needs without feeling limited. Integrating with our Hubspot CRM by making exports easy is a huge plus, and our external traffic finds the website visually appealing and easy to use. It's speedy and we've never had trouble with accessibility.

Zeffy makes it easy for me to create, distribute, and promote our fundraising campaigns. I have a generic campaign that is always on our website. And I've created specific campaigns. Zeffy makes it easy for me and looks good for our potential donors. It gives me tools to use in emails, on our website, and in social media. It handles the donor communication. And even partially integrates to our Quickbooks Online.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

I do think the tip requests are quite high. Yes, we as an organization get 100% of the money, but the standard tip rate that Zeffy requests is 17%. That is far more than people would pay in fees. And I feel like our donors are being taken advantage.

It is super simple to set up where you can have an actual donation landing page in minutes. It also helps that you can accept apple pay and google pay.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

The only downside is not being able to send end of year tax forms easily to people who don't have a monthly gift. I would also add that I wish it integrated better with AI tools like ChatGPT or software like Airtable.

Zeffy is so easy to use, and offers just the right amount of data and information for an organization of our scale. We were tired of overpaying for features we didn't need, especially those more geared towards large organizations or sales-based industries. Zeffy offers just the right amount of functionality, usability, and data for us.

We've been able to grow our membership about 5x this year and I really think it's largely due to the ease of Zeffy's membership feature.

Zeffy is very easy to use and works especially well for small nonprofit programs. We use it for our dance classes, and it makes registration and payment management simple and organized. I also really appreciate that it is designed for nonprofits and helps us keep our costs low. What we like best is that Zeffy is completely free for nonprofits. As a small organization, we care about making sure as much of every gift as possible reaches the Legal Resources Centre's work in South Africa. With Zeffy, our gala tickets, sponsorships, and donations go to the mission instead of to processing fees. Knowing that, we could promote the gala and ask supporters to give with complete confidence.

The limited ability to customize the platform. We'd like more control over how our event and donation pages look, including fonts, colors, and layout, so they fully reflect our brand. Customization is the one area where we sometimes felt constrained.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zeffy simplified what could have been a complicated setup. Our Champions of Justice Gala offered individual tickets alongside several sponsorship levels, each bundling a table with additional underwritten guest seats, and we were able to manage all of it in one place.

It has also reduced our administrative workload. Automatic tax receipts, easy checkout, and having ticket sales, donations, and donor information together meant less manual follow-up and a clearer view of our progress leading up to the gala. For a small organization, that time savings is significant. It's also why we're continuing to use Zeffy for our year-round fundraising.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

We use Zeffy to manage our boys basketball booster club, including memberships, sponsorships, fundraising, and banquet registrations. I have been very impressed with how much functionality Zeffy provides while keeping costs essentially nonexistent for our organization.

The platform is easy to set up and use, and I have found it intuitive to manage everything from day-to-day transactions to larger fundraising and event-registration needs. It gives us many of the same capabilities I would expect from other nonprofit management and fundraising platforms, but without the significant fees that can come with those systems.

For a volunteer-run organization like ours, keeping costs low is extremely important, and Zeffy has allowed us to put more of our fundraising dollars toward supporting our student-athletes rather than paying for software and transaction fees.

Overall, Zeffy has been a great fit for our booster club. It is affordable, flexible, and surprisingly full-featured for a platform that costs us so little. I would definitely recommend it to other school organizations, booster clubs, and nonprofits looking for an easy way to manage fundraising, memberships, sponsorships, and events.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

One minor limitation is that certain membership details can't be changed after someone has completed their membership and payment. For example, we could set a custom expiration date, such as June 30, at the time a member signs up, but we can't go back and change the expiration date after the membership has already been purchased.

This can be a little challenging for our booster club because our membership year generally runs from October/November through June rather than following a standard 12-month cycle. As a result, parents of graduating seniors can sometimes continue to appear as active members after the school year ends.

It's not a major issue because the filtering and list-management tools provide a good workaround. We use filters to identify the appropriate membership group when sending communications. Still, having the ability to edit certain membership details after purchase would make the system even more flexible.

Zeffy helps us solve the challenge of managing multiple aspects of our booster club without having to invest in several different software platforms. We use it for memberships, sponsorships, fundraising, and banquet registrations, giving us one place to manage these activities and keep track of our supporters.

The biggest benefit for us is the cost savings. As a school booster club, we want to maximize the amount of money that goes directly toward supporting our student-athletes. Zeffy provides functionality that is comparable to other fundraising and nonprofit platforms, but without the significant software and transaction costs we would otherwise have to absorb.

It also saves us time and makes our administrative work easier. We can manage registrations and payments, organize our membership lists, track supporters, and communicate with the appropriate groups using the platform's filtering and list-management tools. **What do you like best about Zeffy?**

We love that Zeffy gives our school PTO so many different fundraising and payment tools in one place, without charging platform or credit card fees. We use it for our fall fundraiser ticket sales, raffle ticket sales, silent auction, sponsor registrations and payments, and will begin using Tap-to-Pay to collect payments for in-person purchases at our events. It is easy to set up, easy for our families to use, and easy for me to add additional members of my team. It has allowed us to move more away from cash and checks to online fundraising, while keeping 100% of what we raise. The reporting options are also sufficient.

We would love to see some additional features rolled out. We would like to see more options for Tap to Pay collecting purchaser info and providing immediate receipts to customers, without slowing down the process. Our families would love to get text notifications for silent auction outbid alerts, rather than or in addition to email alerts.

Zeffy is the only fundraising platform I have found that truly has no fees for nonprofits. We receive the full amount donated, with no platform or credit card processing fees taken out. For a small nonprofit where every dollar matters, that makes a real difference.

Zeffy has been a wonderful resource for our PTO! One of the biggest benefits has been being able to give our families the option to pay by credit card for events, fundraisers, and other PTO purchases without our organization having to absorb credit card processing fees. Having an easy, user-friendly way for families to support our school has made collecting payments so much more convenient, and the fact that Zeffy allows nonprofits to use these tools without credit card fees has made a huge difference for us. It has allowed us to offer more flexible payment options while keeping more of the funds raised going directly back to our students and school.

Very easy to use anywhere, anytime we have our events. Other than our personal wi-fi issues we are always able to easily access the app and get paid by our customers. The app performance is fantastic thus far. We've actually been using it for over 2 years now. As a school, we are able to use different functions we weren't able to do before like auction platforms, ice cream sales and donations.

On connectivity, a couple of things help at a venue with weak wifi. Mobile data usually holds up better than venue wifi for the app, and printed QR codes let buyers pay from their own connection rather than yours, which removes the dependency entirely.

Two things worth exploring. Zeffy's raffles let you sell ticket bundles with multiple prize tiers, including 50/50 draws. Zeffy's online store also lets you sell merchandise with inventory tracking, discount codes and shipping options.

With being able to receive all the donations made to us, we've received so much more using Zeffy! We truly have been able to migrate most of our systems over to Zeffy and us it as our primary hub for nearly everything from community registrations for our music/concert cycles to our concert tickets, donation campaigns to gala events like silent auctions! Zeffy has made all of that so easy! Moving our mailing system over has been a game changer and knowing how responsive Zeffy is when we reach out for help or to provide feedback it really feels supportive and collaborative. I tell every non-profit I know about Zeffy and recommend it to so many people whenever I hear a need.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

I wish the membership cards could be used to track attendance within a specific window. That's a piece that would make our cycle memberships that much more meaningful and make it possible for me to eliminate one more system that is clunky and annoying. Otherwise, I haven't found any REAL downsides!

Zeffy has pretty much everything a mid-size nonprofit needs to operate, most notably, highly customizable event/ticket portals. It gives both users and donors a clean, aesthetically appealing, simple and frictionless experience.

More analytics would be cool - it isn't necessarily a dislike but I'd be interested in information like 'pageviews' to see how many people are looking at campaign and event pages without buying tickets. I would also like if we could add a tiny bit more customization with fonts.

One of the nonprofits I work for wasn't willing to invest in paid fundraising software, so this was an excellent option that was easy to persuade the administrators on. It has made online event management much easier and in my opinion helped us come across as more modern and capable. I also think it's far less bloated and dated than other softwares I've used, like Funraise and iDonate. It is so nice and smooth to use, visually slick, and really focuses on the most important pieces, making it less overwhelming for those not experienced with fundraising software.

I absolutely LOVE Zeffy! 💜 As the GM of SWAAD Taz, a nonprofit organization supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing women through sports, fundraising is incredibly important to us. One suggestion I have for Zeffy is to make the optional supporter contribution more clear during checkout. Some people become confused when they see the suggested 17% contribution and mistakenly believe it is a required fee, even though it is completely optional. I like how easy Zeffy is to use. I really appreciate all the ways we can use Zeffy. For ticketing, for communications, for donations receipts, for auctions, surveys....I am sure we are underusing this wonderful program. I like that it's free! On the rare occasion I have needed help it has always been prompt and useful.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

The only downside I have run into is that it doesn't have a lot of flexibility when it comes to ticketing. We are a non-profit theatre so we are often using Zeffy for ticketing and it just doesn't have the nuanced ticketing capabilities of a specific ticketing app.

I really appreciated the change to the checking in app that allows me to take orders at the door.

On theatre ticketing, you are right. Zeffy covers multiple ticket types, early bird, group and pay what you can pricing, capacity limits and multi date events, but it does not do assigned seating or seat maps, which is usually the dealbreaker for a theatre. That is honest rather than a workaround, and the request goes to our product team, who ship improvements weekly with everything we collect going directly into building the roadmap.

Two things worth exploring. Zeffy's raffles work well on a performance night, with ticket bundles and 50/50 draws. Zeffy's online store also lets you sell programs or merchandise in the lobby with inventory tracking.

I like EVERYTHING about Zeffy! I can set up events and take payments online or on my phone the day of the event via their app, check in registered attendees at the event, issue refunds if needed, capture all kinds of information, receive reports during and after the event, etc., etc., etc.! They have automatic emails that are sent immediately after payment is submitted, and then intermittently prior to the event, reminding people and getting them excited. I can also send all kinds of emails with messages to whatever group I designate. It's everything you could want, and then some. I previously used Mailchimp and Square, but now I can do everything with one app, AND IT'S FREE!!!

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

The only downside is that email messages are limited in attachments, but there are ways to work around it. I'm still learning how to make the messages look "pretty" - but in the meantime, it's working just fine!!!

Zeffy has brought our fundraising into the 21st century with easy to use tools, effective messaging and donor management functions, and great campaign design tools. We had been using a legacy provider that charged high base fees and per transaction fees while requiring us to use an outdated and cumbersome interface. Obviously, Zeffy's fee free approach is beneficial for our small PTO but the modern interface and compatibility with phones and modern payment methods has made our fundraising easier and more effective.

I a lot about Zeffy. First it is a free platform for associations and non-profits like ours to do business without cost. Next are the great templates to suit your needs. They are simple and easy to use to set up. I also really like that there is an expiration date field. I can set it and forget it, AND not be the blame for letting in one more or locking anyone out - the site does it and that's all to it. It takes the burden from me to even remember to do it. I was able to make adjustments and even add additional questions on the fly. This is a powerful tool and it was very helpful for our early and regular registration to our annual banquet. We also used it as a raffle tool as well. Everything went smoothly. I will definitely be using Zeffy again.

You have watched the form types and customization options widen over the years, and that pace is deliberate: improvements ship weekly, and a lot of them come straight from feedback like yours.

Two things worth exploring if you have not yet. Auctions run real time bidding with outbid email notifications and no bidder account required, and they accept offline bids entered by an admin. Donor Mail sends personalized thank you letters and fundraising appeals as physical mail straight from your dashboard, with printing and mailing handled for you.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

The biggest upside of Zeffy is that it gives small nonprofits access to tools we genuinely need without taking a percentage of the money we work so hard to raise. We use it for donations, event registrations, workshop sign-ups, and fundraising, and having everything in one place saves us both time and money.

It is especially helpful that the platform is easy for our supporters to use and flexible enough to work for very different types of programs. For a grassroots nonprofit, avoiding platform fees means more of every donation can stay focused on the mission, which is incredibly valuable.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

The biggest downside is that the optional contribution Zeffy asks donors to make toward the platform can sometimes confuse supporters who do not realize it is voluntary. We occasionally have to explain that they can adjust that amount.

Beyond that, some of the customization and reporting features are not as advanced as what you might find with a paid fundraising platform. For us, though, those are relatively minor tradeoffs compared with the value of having a truly fee-free system.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zeffy is solving one of the biggest challenges for a small nonprofit: how to accept donations, manage registrations, and run fundraisers without losing money to platform and transaction fees.

For Hive to Harvest, that means more of every dollar raised can go directly toward food access, educational programs, youth opportunities, and community events. It also saves us time by keeping donations, registrations, and event payments in one place instead of piecing together several different systems.
