"Effortless, Free, and User-Friendly—A Non-Profit’s Dream Platform"
What do you like best about Zeffy?

Zeffy is not only easy and intuitive to use for a variety of events, but it is also completely free for non-profits. When I first discovered it, I was skeptical and wondered if it might be a scam. However, after using it for a year, I can confidently say it is legitimate. The website is excellent—simple for us to manage on the back end, and it appears to be just as user-friendly for our community. We have not received any negative feedback about it. What do you dislike about Zeffy?

I would like to see a POS system or card reader available for purchase and use at in-person events. However, I'm pleased to discover that there is an app for phones that allows us to process card transactions in person. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Fundraising Success with Zeffy"
What do you like best about Zeffy?

Zeffy is an amazing platform. I have used this platform for fundraising campaigns for a community nonprofit that I am involved with. The ease of the website, walking me through each and every step was amazing, and just so simple to use. We had a very successful campaign because of Zeffy and being able to promote on our social media. I cannot say enough about Zeffy. Our organization appreciated the reporting options and verifications sent to the donors. I appreciated the tutorials and offers for personalized guidance to implement the program. What do you like best about Zeffy?

It is very rare in the world of NPO's/ NGO's to find a larger company dedicated to both helping make the world better, and not turning the very people the NPO claims to be helping into an exploitable resource. Most NPO boards, no matter how well intentioned, have eventually succumbed to the business model and become a part of the non-profit industrial complex.

Zeffy has chosen to be clear in their communication, clearly mark where donors to our NPO can keep our funding platform free with an additional donation to Zeffy, and Zeffy has never sold our contacts or solicited our donors for additional campaigns. It is incredibly rare to see a company actually deliver on its promises, and not hide deceptive funding practices, nor treat data as an exploitable resource.

And Zeffy hasn't compromised customer service, either.

I'm a recovering Luddite, and a Zeffy customer support person has helped with setting up our campaign, and another helped me edit an event. The combination of being able to handle sales, donations, mark "tickets" for events as "by donation", and help donors understand exactly how their donation helps has increased our donations.

We did have to upgrade our website to integrate Zeffy seamlessly into our web design, because Zeffy has been easier to use than the website.

In fact, Zeffy has been so much easier to use than anticipated, we are bravely planning on offering more events in more communities. Zeffy was used daily from the moment we signed up until our inaugural JMMF: Celebrate Life event. We continue to use Zeffy multiple times each week, looking for templates, accepting donations, and guidance for improving our website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zeffy?

Most campaign/event platforms will leave the event up for the notorious procrastinators: the well-intentioned but overwhelmed and over-committed individuals who forget to make their donation until they are on their way home from the event.

Or in our case, we couldn't get decent reception to process donations during the event, and people were unable to make their promised donation because the event disappeared from public purview.

What do you like best about Zeffy?

Zeffy is our primary site for donations, event ticketing, RSVPing, and more. Everything they promise when it comes to $0 fees is ACTUALLY true; we get every cent. My favourite thing about Zeffy is the team's openness. They are easy to get ahold of and always friendly, helpful, and caring. What do you dislike about Zeffy?

I haven't found a downside that Zeffy hasn't addressed. For a time, we wanted to have a silent auction module and a way to accept tap payments, and both features have since been launched! Not only does Zeffy continuously work on adding new features, they also pay attention to their clients and who is looking for what--in our case, someone contacted us before the silent auction module went live to consult us on what features they should include. Not only did they remember that we were looking for silent auction functionality, they actively sought our input to make sure what they built worked for the people who'd be using it. I really like that Zeffy is intuitive and easy to integrate into ongoing organizations/platforms/programs. It's also very versatile. "Free, User-Friendly Fundraising Tool with Minor Glitches"
What do you like best about Zeffy?

I appreciate that Zeffy is free and doesn't take a cut off our fundraising, which is highly beneficial for our nonprofit organization. The simplicity and user experience are noteworthy; it usually works the first time around, which saves me valuable time. Even though there are occasional glitches, particularly with saving descriptions, they aren't frequent, and I still find the setup to be quite fast and efficient. Our donors seem to appreciate the cost-free aspect as well. The ease of using it on my phone, especially when setting up campaigns glitch-free, is a feature I value greatly. I encountered an issue where Zeffy did not save my initial draft of a campaign description, even after multiple attempts to save it. This led to the description being overwritten by an AI-generated version, which I found inaccurate and unsatisfactory. I love that Zeffy offers its services for free, making it a highly cost-effective solution for a small startup non-profit like ours. The platform's approach of inviting people to cover transaction costs, or absorbing them itself, significantly alleviates our financial concerns. Additionally, Zeffy's responsiveness to user feedback is commendable. When we provided suggestions to enhance the email newsletter feature, the team was open to our ideas and took the time to engage in discussions with us to explore potential improvements. The email newsletter functionality is very effective in helping us update our subscribers about the sanctuary's activities and upcoming events, making communication with our supporters straightforward and impactful. What do you like best about Zeffy?

Zeffy has been a GAME CHANGER for two small arts non-profits I am on the board of in my town. I am thrilled with Zeffy because it is incredibly easy to use on both the front end and back end, making it perfect for our entirely volunteer-run arts organizations. I love how it offers a vast array of options for setting up and running campaigns, all while being super intuitive for our team. The fact that it has allowed us to raise and keep 100% of our funds is a critical feature, setting it apart from platforms like PayPal. Zeffy has remarkably streamlined our record-keeping processes, which used to be chaotic and tedious. The ease of use in organizing membership signups, fundraising, event ticketing, and more has made a significant positive impact. What do you like best about Zeffy?

We love how easy it is to implement our diverse offerings. We are frequently creating shops or selling tickets to events, and Zeffy has all the features we need to make it easy for us and our customers. We can easily integrate links to our website and social media as well. Occasionally, I have needed a feature, and Customer Service was extremely helpful in making it happen. What do you like best about Zeffy?

I love that Zeffy is not just a donation portal but also a comprehensive CRM that we can use for our fundraising activities, making it an all-in-one solution for our donor management needs. The fact that Zeffy is free is another huge advantage for us. The customer support is fantastic, always helpful and responsive to our needs. I also appreciate that Zeffy is constantly improving, showing a commitment to bettering the platform and providing more value to its users.
