Stencyl is limited at this time. You can create fun, simple games with it, however, you won't be building detailed 3D models with it. It has a lot of room for growth, so I think that it's possible that someday you will be able to create more complex games. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Stencil is a drag and drop game maker. This came in handy for a person like me who knows a little coding but not enough to create a game on my own. With Stencyl, it made it possible. The U.I. is pretty much self-explanatory whereas you pretty much connect your actors (objects) to behaviors. I will be using this program again soon starting my second game using Stencyl.
