**What do you like best about AdRoll ABM (Formerly RollWorks)?**

I really like the ability to integrate with our CRM and MAP to get dynamic target lists. It allows us to set aside different air coverage streams for different segments based on custom account fields and segmentations, making it really versatile to create awareness, nurture, etc. I also like the ability to place dynamic text in our ads.

**What do you dislike about AdRoll ABM (Formerly RollWorks)?**

I don't like that they have a base spend requirement as a way to decrease the software cost. That made it cost-prohibitive for us when our spend threshold was lower, even though we really could have used a tool like RollWorks. It's also not great that they don't have support for LinkedIn Lead Gen ads. That would have made it a clear winner over other ABM platforms, whereas currently it's clear strength is display.

**What problems is AdRoll ABM (Formerly RollWorks) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Display for dynamic segments at scale. We can plan out what kinds of ads we want to show to accounts depending on what stage they are in their lifecycle, and have that automatically set based on preconfigured audience rules.

- Centralized ad library to easily see all ads, their status, and some bulk editing capabilities
- Query engine to create account lists based on third-party or Salesforce properties
- Can manage display ads and social ads in one central location
- Ability to create lists of specific Salesforce contacts with low minimum size.
- Excellent / attentive CSM and support.

**What do you dislike about AdRoll ABM (Formerly RollWorks)?**

- Interface can be confusing as can the overall product concept hierarchy - e.g., some lists are created in SFDC, some inside the RW UI. I do believe this is being improved or is on the roadmap for improvement. 
- Biggest limitation from my point of view is lack of full support for all ad types on social platforms. Last time I checked you could not create most types of ads on LinkedIn for example, so I had to control those in the LinkedIn interface. If the selling point is having a single place to manage everything, being comprehensive is very important.

Providing a centralized interface for managing all display advertising for demand generation and ABM. The centralized library is useful to see all ads in the same place and it's quite easy to launch new campaigns.

In the 6-8 weeks I have been exposed to and using Rollworks have been great. It is such a cool platform and we are excited to be using it. Customer success & onboarding team are great and very helpful. I found the strategy ideas particularly beneficial and unlike any other experience when on boarding.

he only thing I struggled with at first was understanding the reports, but the account manager and customer service rep are on hand to answer my questions.

**What problems is AdRoll ABM (Formerly RollWorks) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As someone who helps develop lead lists on behalf of the saes team, this tool saves so much time in the lead prospecting phase. You can reach a large audience with a fraction of the effort. I also love the intent data that as an SMB organisation was too expensive to get separately. Its great to have it here within Rollworks.

I really appreciated that RollWorks has a platform that can not only meet us where we are but can also grow with us. Also, their level of service and support from the sales stage through onboarding and account management is excellent.

**What do you dislike about AdRoll ABM (Formerly RollWorks)?**

The only downside I have seen so far is that while much of the data is current within 24 hours, a few stats are only current within 2-3 days. It would be helpful if all data could be just a little more timely. However, this has not prevented me from getting the information I need as I need it.

The RollWorks platform is giving us a line of sight into our Target Accounts that we would not have been able to get without them. With their pricepoint, we're able to not only get targeted advertising and website activity insights, but also intent data, which is a huge plus.

Rollworks is a pretty solid ABM/ad delivery platform when layering additional types of targeting such as intent targeting, industry targeting, etc. on top of your own list of desired accounts.  The team and process at Rollworks is very structured and they place a high value on ensuring that we are consistnetly improving and optimizing our campaigns, and have a wide variety of ways to assess success.  Our ad KPIs have also performed very well.

**What do you dislike about AdRoll ABM (Formerly RollWorks)?**

While our ads have performed well, we haven't received a lot of conversions - some of this is based on the ad formats we're using and our own messaging, but I would find it beneficial in the future for Rollworks to develop their own gated landing page solutions.  In addition, due some compliance issues and their data policy, integration with our CRM is a bit difficult to achieve in accordance with our own data policies and standards.  In some cases, we would like more targeting capabilities (by industry, title) as well.

Rollworks is helping us re-engage accounts that have not been as active as we would like, and we have the ability to nurture them with a variety of content through a simple sales journey.  We've been able to show ways that these accounts are are interested and non interested in our products and services.

Love how easy the system is to use. Ease often comes with a loss of capability, but not in the case of Rollworks. Ease with Rollworks comes in the form of a UI that has been thoughtfully created. The ability to dig into and manage your campaigns at a granular level is fully supported -- audiences, accounts, ads, campaigns, etc just a couple of clicks deep into the interface.

**What do you dislike about AdRoll ABM (Formerly RollWorks)?**

I'd like to see a deeper integration into their third party providers. For example, with LinkedIn, you can only manage standard ads through the RW interface. I'd like to be able to run video ads or even messaging ads -- that way I'm not having to bounce between multiple interfaces.

**What problems is AdRoll ABM (Formerly RollWorks) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rollworks, in my research and experience, is providing us the best account-based targeting platform in the category. Most of the systems out there for ABX are bloated, or have priced themselves into the stratosphere under the guise of being a 1-stop shop full service ad agency. For those of us who are capable of managing our own programs, Rollworks is the gold standard.

I appreciate how simple it is to set up and launch campaigns. You can be sure you're targeting the proper folks with an accurate algorithm. I really like how I can check on spending and efficacy on a regular basis and make any required adjustments. Customer service is really helpful, and you don't feel trapped in a campaign that isn't performing as well as you had anticipated; modifications can always be made.

With its integration and the various advertising alternatives available to be offered through LinkedIn, I feel Rollworks has space to improve. It would also be amazing if they could include retargeting on LinkedIn in addition to display ads. Unfortunately, they don't yet have their 3rd party intent data available to share through their sales insights integration in Salesforce.

RollWorks is a great solution for companies looking to start an ABM strategy on a budget. Their functionality is great, and while it is not as robust as other programmatic tools, it is a great improvement to any marketing tech stack.

I currently work with a B2B firm and RollWorks helps me keep track of all the campaigns we run. Through its Dashboard insights, it's easy to download reports and switch to different campaigns to run a quick comparison.

**What do you like best about AdRoll ABM (Formerly RollWorks)?**

There is a lot to love about the Rollworks platform. 

The platform is really easy to navigate, setting up campaigns is quick, the interface walks you through everything step by step. You have several options to drill down and review your data as well. You can setup detailed reports to run on a schedule and email you once a week/month/etc. on ad performance, conversions, impressions, etc. But what I really appreciate is the journey funnel view. This breaks down each target account list into three main categories: unaware, aware, engaged. Here you can get a quick glance at how many accounts are in each category. You can then drill down to see specific accounts and their activity on your website and their interactions with your ads. This is really helpful in knowing when to hand off a marketing lead to our SDR team.

If you have a CRM that integrates with Rollworks, like Hubspot, you can also see in the journey stage view which accounts have an open deal and a won deal. 

But one of the best things about Rollworks isn't the platform, its' their account management team. If your on their standard plan or more you get a designated accoutn manager that sets up a meeting candence to review performance, brainstorm changes, and they help pull more indepth reporting. As a very small marketing team, this has been invaluable!

**What do you dislike about AdRoll ABM (Formerly RollWorks)?**

Honestly, there really isn't much to dislike. Rollworks is fantastic about asking their customers what features they'd like to see and it seems about every 6 months they have new updates to roll out. 

The only downfall is that you can only have one set of intent topics, and for a company that has several services with very different intent signals, this means we can only have one campaign setup with intent topics at a time.

Have a good understanding of the ABM program you want to run before purchasing any software, this will help you with your onboarding and setting up proper goals to measure success.

Rollworks has helped us target new accounts and start building brand awareness with a wider audience, but they also help us nurture sales prospects through the sales pipeline. We have a long sales process, so being able to show case study/testimonial ads to those prospects throughout their sales journey has helped reduce leads that go quiet.

Good integrations with Salesforce and G2 help us target the right accounts in the right stage of their buying journey. Their ABM playbooks also offer a powerful way to orchestrate end-to-end account-based campaigns. Lastly, I like that contact-based retargeting is rolled into the platform, as it allows us to run more inbound-focused campaigns and playbooks as needed (some other ABM platforms I've looked at only offer account-based targeting/reporting).

Sometimes new features are rolled out and don't offer the data/insight/functionality we want upon initial release. But our CSM is responsive to our feedback and has made changes we've requested in the past.

Super easy to pull targeted lists out of Salesforce, I absolutely love that I can manage almost everything I need to out of there. I love being able to target either companies or contact lists.

Not so much a dislike, but I believe we have had a couple issues with Marketo forms tracking. We've mostly had a great experience with the Rollworks platform.

Rollworks has been very beneficial for many in tracking leads for our sales teams to follow up on. I love how we can see the website traffic of all our targeted companies.

I think the interface can be a little daunting if you're unfamiliar with how ad software works, but the team does a great job explaining this to you.

Honestly, we've had a very positive experience working with our account rep. We've never felt left to our own devices, but had someone who was looking at our account and helping us to get the most out of it.

My biggest frustrations are not with RollWorks as much as with the limitations of ABM generally. We target based on title and a list of companies, but can't get down to the level of an individual.

We have a high-touch sales cycle, and in the enterprise B2B space, it's hard work to get noticed. Using ABM allows us to build some groundswell/attention that our outbound team has a much better chance of getting responses or engagement.

Intent data drives a lot of our targetting and outreach activity.  We call on companies exhibiting high intent and we are happy with the engagement we get from this method.

We would like a lot more integration with Hubspot.  RollWorks has been delivering Hubspot integrations, but it is not as advanced as what is available for Salesforce.

Useful functionalities with great support from RW success manager for any ad-hoc requests is a strong advantage. Overall outcome and our expectations were fulfilled regarding executing targeted campaigns with connection to our marketing system for fair price conditions.

RW has a limit of accounts within the target lists. Also has a limited ability to control ad spends  (playbook 2 steps setup, no control over transitions and budget allocation).
Contacts matching with RW cookie pool resulted in low results.
We have missed the ability to control capping in campaigns and also in reports we are missing unique users/frequency values.
Reporting is based only at the account level, not the contact level.

To set the stage, I used RollWorks back in 2018 in a previous role when it was just AdRoll before they had any ABM capabilities, and now I'm using RollWorks for ABM advertising at my current role. I do really like the ABM capabilities and being able to set up playbooks so that different sets of ads show up when an account is unaware vs aware. Being able to integrate with Hubspot is great and they just rolled out a new feature for HS integrations where sales can get email updates on "hot accounts". 

Customer service has gone through its ups and downs over the years but I have a really great CSM now with biweekly calls.

**What do you dislike about AdRoll ABM (Formerly RollWorks)?**

I wish the job title targeting for ads could get even more granular. I also wish the playbooks had more functionality beyond unaware to aware (although there are ways you can hack it) but on the plan that we're on we only get limited playbooks so we have to pick and choose. It would be nice if personalized ads came with the standard/starter packages.

I also don't like the limits on playbooks. And I wish the platform integrated with Salesforce better for an aggregate scoring model so we could attribute ad clicks at companies to account scores for account targets. Right now that info is in a silo.
