# What is the best remote desktop software for enterprise IT support?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">I am helping a few IT teams evaluate <a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/remote-desktop">remote desktop platforms</a>, and one of the key things they want is <strong>enterprise-grade support</strong>. That means secure connections, cross-platform access, strong reporting, and the ability to manage large numbers of endpoints without performance issues. So I researched a bit on G2 and from the grid data and user reviews to help them with their shortlist. Sharing this so that this helps the community too:</p><ul>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/teamviewer/reviews"><strong>TeamViewer</strong></a><strong>: </strong>The most widely adopted, with strong enterprise presence and integrations, though some firms note licensing costs as a consideration.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/beyondtrust-remote-support/reviews"><strong>BeyondTrust Remote Support</strong></a><strong>:</strong> Focused heavily on enterprise security and compliance, popular with regulated industries.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/isl-online/reviews"><strong>ISL Online</strong></a><strong>:</strong> Extremely high satisfaction scores, lightweight and reliable, though with smaller market presence compared to TeamViewer.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/zoho-assist/reviews"><strong>Zoho Assist</strong></a><strong>:</strong> Affordable and easy to use, with solid remote access features, though geared more toward SMBs than full enterprise setups.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/ev-reach/reviews"><strong>EV Reach</strong></a><strong>:</strong> Offers remote support and endpoint management together, making it attractive for IT teams running hybrid environments.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/anydesk/reviews"><strong>AnyDesk</strong></a><strong>:</strong> Lightweight and fast, good for quick connections, though reviews suggest it’s more popular for smaller teams than large enterprises.</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Other platforms I’ve seen mentioned in enterprise IT contexts include <strong>LogMeIn Rescue, ConnectWise Control, and Splashtop Enterprise. </strong></p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">For those of you working in larger IT environments, which tools have actually delivered on <strong>scalability and security for enterprise support</strong>, and which ones struggled under the load? </p>

&lt;p&gt;When evaluating these tools at the enterprise level, do you think security certifications/compliance matter more (for things like audits and regulations), or is it really about scalability and performance when hundreds of endpoints are involved?&lt;/p&gt;
