
Since converting to a "curbside check-in" model due to COVID, the ability to send text messages to communicate with our patients has been invaluable. We also LOVE the paperless patient forms and the constant updates that Modento rolls out EVERY MONTH! With the help of Modento, we have been able to implement new systems to streamline our patient flow from check-in, to treatment planning, to check-out. We love the text to pay feature as well which has helped minimize the amount of statements that need to be printed and mailed out, thus actually SAVING us time and money. The T-Mobile issue is a big one. If that could get fixed somehow, that would be super helpful. It would also be helpful to be able to select which cell number to text without having to change the guarantor within our PM software. Being a pediatric practice, it's not uncommon for a different parent to bring the child in so it would be nice to have the option to select which phone number we are sending links for paperwork, consents, etc. to. My patients love they can text and communicate through the platform, and love the ease in which they receive intake forms, and treatment plans. Patients also love the check in features, and a buzz is beginning with my loyalty rewards program! My staff also loves being paperless! My staff is very excited with the new live ops feature, and can’t wait for the online scheduling. Did I mention, the modento team is awesome!? I like everything about Modento. The easy of use, the setup, the customer support and the overall product itself. We are a pediatric dental office and we use it for our forms, scheduling, sending paperwork, checking people in, reviews, reminders etc. I love that it is completely automated, my staff just makes an appointment in the dental software we use and the complete patient experience from that point on is on autopilot. The patients get the paperwork, they get reminders if they dont do the paperwork ahead of time, they get reminders about their appointment time and they get a review link after. There is nothing I dislike thus far, in products like these customer service is what is lacking but the counterfactual is true for Modento, they have phenomenal support. Modento is what every front office person hopes for! If you are busy office or a small office.....this will be your best friend. We have tried other services and nothing has compared to the customer service you get with Modento! Almost all of our paper work is finished prior to the patient arriving for the appointment including consents. Less chair time is taken up and appointments stay on schedule when things are completed ahead of time. It automatically sends paperwork to the patients so that is helpful and not one more thing to think of in your day.
