What problems is MaxAssist solving and how is that benefiting you?
The core problem MaxAssist solves for us is fragmented, generic patient communication. Before, recall and reactivation outreach tended to be one-size-fits-all, which meant a lot of messages that weren't relevant to the patient receiving them. MaxAssist's segmentation lets us target specific patient groups by where they are in their care, which has made our outreach feel more relevant — and more effective at getting patients back in the chair. This is where we see MaxAssist pull ahead of broader patient-communication platforms like NexHealth, which tend to be built around general scheduling and messaging rather than the kind of targeted recall/reactivation logic dental practices actually need.
It also solves a workflow-fragmentation problem. Because it integrates well with our existing scheduling and recall processes, our team isn't jumping between disconnected systems or manually reconciling data.
On the reliability side, it's solved what used to be a recurring headache: sync issues that would throw off scheduling. Performance has been consistently solid, which matters a lot in a scheduling-dependent business — a sync failure isn't just an inconvenience, it can mean a missed or double-booked appointment. And when we've had questions, MaxAssist's support team has been responsive, which has kept small issues from turning into bigger ones.
Net benefit: better patient retention through more relevant recall, less operational friction day-to-day, and fewer scheduling headaches overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
