What do you like best about Lob?

LOB has been a great tool for creating scalable direct mailing campaigns for my clients. The data visibility from production to the mailbox has allowed me to create triggers in an omnichannel campaign I wasn't able to get through other DM methods. What do you dislike about Lob?

I would like to have some access to the Mail Analytics feature at my current tier level (growth), even if it was a slimmed-down version of what the Enterprise level offers, I would be happy with that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lob?

I would love it if their templates didn't require coding knowledge. Many of the other platforms in our MarTech stack are designed for a marketing end user. Now that Lob has more than just the API; I'm hoping they will continue to expand their templating design features to allow users to focus on being able to design content with minimal technical assistance quickly. What do you like best about Lob?

There are multiple things that I like about working with LOB:

1. Fast and accurate response. LOB team responds fast and resolves the issues we have, providing solutions and thinking out of the box.

2. Customer support. LOB understood well and supported us on some time changes we had during implementation.

3. Good product. LOB services have provided the visibility we needed on mailing services, helping us to increase and enhance our functionality related to this service to our customers.

"Great API for sending paper checks!"

What do you like best about Lob?

The API documentation is simple, straightforward, and very detailed. More than that, the API itself proved to be very reliable and consistent with the usage.

We've been using Lob.com for over a year now, and haven't had a single issue with lost checks or failed API calls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lob?

Staging/testing environment could perhaps use few more additional features, but if we're being fair - it does the job.

The biggest challenge we had with Lob.com was tweaking the templates to make sure they will print and ship correctly, but after 6-7 hours of tweaking - we got it done, and never had to revisit, so it's not a real issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great snail mail automation"

What do you like best about Lob?

I was looking for a service that integrated with Zapier where I can automate sending snail mail letters. After trying a bunch of different ones that connected to Zapier on their app directory page, Lob was the one I chose! A big part of that reason is due to it not being too difficult to set up (I don't code), so that was nice. All it really took was setting up the account and most of the configuration happened on the Zapier side. And it magically sent the data to Lob and sent out the letter (I didn't have to create a template or anything in there. It just worked.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lob?

It would be awesome if there was an onboarding specialist who'd help me with a walkthrough of Lob and how things worked. Yes it's not super technical to get started, but it can get technical so having some help to navigate would make eating the learning curve a lot easier and learn what I can do with it. "Lob filled a time-wasting gap in our workflow"

What do you like best about Lob?

I've been searching for years for something like Lob. As a nonprofit, some of our donors prefer to receive their donation receipts by post mail, but it was a huge waste of time for us. Now sending a post mail is just as easy as sending an email and it's fully integrated into our workflow. It took a huge time-wasting thorn in my side and turned it into something I don't even think about!

I'm now making plans to use Lob for our other communications as well.

What do you dislike about Lob?

Because of the extreme efficiency of sending post mail through Lob, there are necessarily a few limitations. For example, the types of communications you can send is pretty limited, and if you want any customization of the envelope, you have to be a top-tier customer. (However, our logo and a bit of text can show through the return address window of the envelope.)

"Honestly does everything I need"

What do you like best about Lob?

When we received our "return to sender" mail, the postcards were all of different levels of quality (i.e. only glossy on one side, faded colors). It appears that the print quality lacks consistency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
