Integration Is Great, But Allotment-to-LOB Sending Is Time Consuming and Inefficient **Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026 **What do you like best about Lob?** That it integrates with our system and it is easy to view. **What do you dislike about Lob?** When we send our allotment to LOB, it does 3 things. 1. sends the mail 2. rejects for bad address or 3. rejects over cap. The problem with this is that it rejects over cap when the allotment is not filled yet. Due this, we have to either 1. Go in and pull a list of ones that were sent, exclude them from our targeting, and then send the targeting again or 2. keep adjusting the segment until it hits the allotment. This is very time consuming and requires a lot of back and forth. The best way to fix this would be for it to go back to the ones that were rejected over cap until the allotment is filled. **What problems is Lob solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is solving sending our direct mail allotments for the month. ### 2. works OK, but support is bad **Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Ido M. | Backend Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2025 **What do you like best about Lob?** well, it is working... we are using it for the last 8 years, and we didn't have issue with sending letters. **What do you dislike about Lob?** 1. we are using Java SKD, and there is no much support for this. 2. LOB SKD had a major version change about 2 years ago, and we had to completely rewrite our integration with LOB. 3. This version had several bugs, and it took some times to fix it. 4. about a year ago, I found a bug on the SDK. Support persom admitted that there is a bug (and this is a simple one to fix), but it did not get into the priorities. Still no fix for this. **What problems is Lob solving and how is that benefiting you?** sending physical letters and certified letters, as required by legal. ### 3. Being able to automate this in our compliance business has been huge. Also appreciate their test environment that can be utilized to simulate campaigns and mailings. **What do you dislike about Lob?** Lob support is unresponsive and not very helpful. Analytics leave a lot to be desired. Requests for information often go unresponded to. When they uncover issues, they do not proactively communicate them. **What problems is Lob solving and how is that benefiting you?** My business is required to mail compliance reports to various government agencies across the country. Without Lob, I'm not sure how we'd accomplish the task of sending thousands of reports to unique locations.
