  ### 1. Effortless Hiring with Seamless Integrations

**What do you like best about Criteria?**

I love how Criteria integrates effortlessly. We use it with BambooHR and Chameleon, and the integration is perfect. BambooHR handles the job posting, and once candidates apply, they get an email directing them to Criteria to complete their testing. Chameleon assists us with selecting some of the displayed tests, making the process seamless. I give Criteria a 10 out of 10 because it allows us to screen candidates without doing all the upfront legwork. It also lets us reach out to candidates, view their resumes, and see their video interviews. Additionally, I love how it scores the tests to help us determine who fits within our desired expertise range, indicating who meets our hiring expectations. The setup was wonderful and seamless, thanks to a helpful gentleman who guided us through the features via an extensive video call.

**What do you dislike about Criteria?**

I wish that Criteria sent push notifications to multiple staff members since we all have to approve a candidate throughout the process. Right now, it only sends progress emails to me.

**What problems is Criteria solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Criteria to screen candidates efficiently with automated tests and video interviews, freeing my nonprofit's small staff from spending all their time on hiring. It lets us select relevant screening tests and ensures we focus on our job demands.

**What do you like best about Criteria?**

I like that Criteria provides a really easy way to set up standardized tests. It makes comparing candidates straightforward, and the results are more than just numbers. It gives a good synopsis of what a candidate may be strong or weak at, and suggests potential questions to ask during the interview to further explore those points. The integration with our hiring platform, Workable, is also a plus as it allows us to send assessments and get results easily, keeping everything integrated together.

**What do you dislike about Criteria?**

Sometimes the criteria questionnaires are pretty standardized and may not always fit specifically to the needs of a particular role. It would be nice to have additional types of questions and analysis for particular roles.

I use Criteria to vet initial candidates, assessing acumen and cultural fit before advancing them in our hiring process.

I like the ease of accessing the report and the detailed nature of the report that we're able to get from the assessment.

**What do you dislike about Criteria?**

The integration with our HRIS system is not as seamless as I thought it would be. I thought we would be able to access everything through our HRIS system, and, unfortunately, we still have to utilize the Criteria website on a regular basis to access reports and set up and send reports. And so there isn't a lot of benefit in the integration with our HRIS, which I was really hoping for.

Criteria helps me get insight into hiring decisions with detailed, insightful reports.

  ### 4. User-Friendly, Exceptional Value - Increases Veteran Candidate Hiring Value in Tech Sales Industry

**What do you like best about Criteria?**

Tech Qualled has been using the Criteria (HireSelect) System since circa 2017 to help position and qualify candidates for our veteran technology sales training program. While the system was implemented and integrated into our program prior to my arrival in 2020, the Criteria system I am using today has been easy to customize, manage, and maintain for our staff, user-friendly for our military veteran program candidates, affordable and reasonably priced when you compare the overall value of the tools and what they bring to our program.  We use Criteria for each candidate who completes the interview portion of our program, so each candidate joining has been through the Criteria process. When talking with hiring managers, talent advisors, and HR professionals in the technology sales hiring space, I have heard on multiple occasions their firm holds our veteran graduates at a higher level due to the Criteria testing taking place prior to entry. Although we have not required a ton of customer support, simply due to the user friendly nature of the Criteria tools, when needed, our support has been exceptional. Criteria truly hires top notch employees who solidly represent the Criteria company. As an aside, we did use video interviewing for quite some time, again exceptional, but did discontinue use simply because we no longer required the service.

**What do you dislike about Criteria?**

I do not really have any constructive or helpful feedback to provide here. The tools work when I need them to, the provided reports are easy to understand, they carry their own weight within the hiring community, and every Criteria representative I have met with has always been professional, knowledgable, and kind. Nothing more to add.

**What problems is Criteria solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As mentioned above, it is not really a business problem being solved, but more increasing our value in the training and hiring community. We are a training company for veterans, transitioning from the military to civilian careers in tech sales. We provide the training, and then also help veterans learn and understand the job market, interviewing skills, networking, resume, LinkedIn, etc. We work with them individually step by step through this process. The Criteria tools help to show which veterans applying to our program already have an aptitude and natural skill towards tech sales and business management careers. We can see personality highlights we can build upon which will make them more marketable and overall more successful in the sales tech industry. Our hiring community sees these tools as valuable. (Note: We do not share the reports with them, but do discuss several key highlights, including strengths so they can build upon these. Hiring managers, talent advisors, and the like have an increased comfort level hiring our graduates and this is one of the reasons why, as it has been made known to me on several occasions now.)

**What do you like best about Criteria?**

I really like Criteria's new coaching platform that uses AI assist; it's a game changer, and we're really enthusiastic about it. Criteria also makes it very easy to set up for our team, and we have had personalized assistance, including two calls with a live person who can help when we have questions. Additionally, we're encouraged by what Criteria can do, the simplicity, and the scale.

**What do you dislike about Criteria?**

Well, the newness of the coaching platform is a little bumpy. And we are super users, and we are working out some of those bumps. So different, functionality that we would like to see, it's just so new. We're part of the beta testing, and so I'd like to see those bumps smoothed out.

I use Criteria for applicant screenings and assessments to understand skills fit and scale coaching effectively, even when resources are tight. The AI-assisted coaching platform is a game changer, enabling engagement with existing employees beyond just applicants.

**What do you like best about Criteria?**

Great tool to use for recruiting purposes to save time and get an accurate overview of a candidate. Helps us to see where they would fit in on our team, and also helps with onboarding knowing how to coach new hires and where they may struggle and need to spend extra time on. Helps to uncover an authentic overview of each candidate.

**What do you dislike about Criteria?**

I send out a lot of testing links, but have a minimal number complete them. But that's not your fault. Would say that is really my only down side.

**What problems is Criteria solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping us to use our time more efficiently. Once a candidate applies, if we see potential we will send over the assessment. If they do not complete, we know they weren't taking the application seriously. If they do complete we can compare to their resume and either decide that their experience isn't aligned with their results and move on, or invite them in for an interview knowing that they already will probably be able to be successful in the role. Able to ask more targeted questions based on their strengths and weaknesses. Leaves us with less surprises.

**What do you like best about Criteria?**

Compared to other platforms, we had more flexibility with our ATS integration. Also, the customer service was very nice and did their best to find a compromise when we were being onboarded.

**What do you dislike about Criteria?**

We were customers for three years and had already agreed on the price for the extension for the 4th year. One month after this, someone reached out to us to tell us we've been using way too many assessments and they need to adjust the price they gave us to 4 times the initial amount. 

This is quite unheard of of course, both the increase and doing it after already agreeing to an extension. Also, both on their website & previous communication with their representatives stated we should have unlimited assessment in our tier. Now they are saying we've been using too many? How? 

I believe they were just trying to get more money from us. Their customer service is super nice and helpful when they are onboarding you, and once you're locked in, they just deal with you in bad faith. The product itself is good, but there are many alternatives in the market that wouldn't treat you this way, so that's where we're taking our business.

  ### 13. Intuitive all around pre-interview tool

**What do you like best about Criteria?**

I first used Criteria when I was trying to apply for a couple of SaaS companies. For others, the initial interview was the traditional 1:1 with the recruiter, but for a couple that I applied with, I was greeted with Criteria as a pre-interview tool. When I took it out for a spin, it was very intuitive in the sense that you're sort of taking a personality test that's designed to help both you and the recruiter find your strengths and weaknesses. It's easy to use, and you don't need additional help to learn how to use it. After you finish, you'd be greeted by your results, and the good thing here is that you can have it integrated in a way that you can secure your results via email and save your results for your reference as well. It feels like most companies have an easy time implementing Criteria internally since I've had the pleasure of going using Criteria atleast 3-5 times as pre-screening throughout my job hunting series. Their customer support is also good since I was able to recover my session when I had a hiccup with one of the sessions I was going through Criteria.

**What do you dislike about Criteria?**

The only thing I dislike about Criteria is that it gets a bit tedious and repetitive with some of the questions, but I guess that's how personality tests usually go. Sometimes the results don't feel right, especially if you don't answer the questions seriously.

**What do you like best about Criteria?**

The tool is easy to use and hosts a ton of tests for a variety of different job descriptions. 
It made our recent hiring experience much more enjoyable as we were able to link true skills to what we were looking for vs solely reviewing an resume. And if we wanted to manage our own tests it would take a long time to set up, Criteria was ready to go in a day (or it felt even shorter). There are 2 things. Historically we've done assessments, how we do those has had to change. This provided a way for us to replace our old assessment process. The second thing Criteria has done is speed up the hiring process by allowing us to move these assessments to the front of the hiring process, in a way that is fair to the applicants.

We use the Criteria products for bulk and non bulk recruitment. The technology is reliable, the team are very customer focused (responsive and willing to take on feedback) and the insights we gain from the products we use (psychometric testing and video interviews) support the process of making informed decisions around candidate suitability in a timely manner.

**What do you dislike about Criteria?**

Our largest recruitment programs have up to 5,000 candidates and whilst the technology is reliable, it is impossible to get through that volume without some candidates experiencing technical issues. The response times from the Criteria support team to these candidates can be mixed and I'd imagine this is dependent on what support they are providing to other customers at the time. Dislike is a stretch. More a piece of constructive feedback which I have shared with the team who I rate highly.

You no longer get your own account manager everything runs through customer support and needs escalation, pricing has vastly changed, some former offerings have been removed without notice,  job families could be more expansive but similar position types are available, no more renewal conversations just a late invoice in your inbox.

Bring all your wants and questions to the demo call - be transparent with what you were acclimated to with a previous provider and let them fill in the details on how they can best suit you.  Ask about the internal coworker project work assessments that you can use to help teammates best work together.

I see others posted about downloads - they have created a simple and comprehensive 'download all assessments in a single PDF' feature.   Several escalated tickets that go unanswered.

the most ehelpful part of Criteria are the EPP and WPP scores that give insight into how well candidates fit company culture and relibality. It is also very easy to send out links to candidates. For every new application I recieve I will send out the criteria assessment link and frequently check back to see who is in process or complete.

**What do you dislike about Criteria?**

what I find the least helpful about Criteria is that i have notices a trend in low scores for WPP for candidates that are foreign. this leads me to think that there is a cultural gap between how questions are asked or responded to that could cause confusion and therefore lower score than there would be otherwise. This make th eintegration of the tool a bit harder to use beacuse a candidate will seem like a good fit for the company, but seeing the low WPP can throw a wrench into the hiring process.

Criteria solves the problem of having a pre hire screening quality control. As the summer starts up and schools let out a flood of new job applications come in and criteria really helps to see who would and would not fit the standards provided by the company.

**What do you like best about Criteria?**

Criteria Corp is extrememly helpful in gaining unbiased information about applicants. It gives a detailed report with explanations about every test which then helps us see a candidates strengths and weaknesses. There's a great amount of tests to choose from and they offer integrations with different HR softwares as well. The Talent Insights are helpful as well for teams and managers!

**What do you dislike about Criteria?**

The downside could be that there is too much information listed on the results pages - maybe providing a simiplified version along with the detailed report. In HR we read through all of the details, but the managers often times tell us that they don't know what they're supposed to be looking at or how to interpret the results, so it would be nice to have a more simplified version to help managers feel more empowered about the results!

Helping us choose the best candidates based on skills based qualifications and giving insight into personality fit on an unbiased level!

I like that Criteria can be customized to fit different jobs/industries. I also like that Criteria gives the candidate a report at the end of the assessment.

**What do you dislike about Criteria?**

The only downside I've seen so far is the comparison feature. I wish there was a way to download the charts/graphs or a more user-friendly way to download the comparison of people.

Criteria allows us to assess candidates based on the role they are applying for. While this assessment isn't a make or break in our hiring process, it's really good data to have and Criteria provides interview questions based on the assessment scoring.

**What do you like best about Criteria?**

I love that you are able to put together your jobs with different types of tests, a la carte. The platform is very user-friendly, and if I ever have trouble, there are a ton of helpful resources to teach and train. The notification that a user has completed an assessment or set of assessments is very quick and accommodating. I utilize Criteria Corp to help in our franchise owner recruitment process, so I love that it isn't just catered to employee recruitment. Our customer account specialist is extremely responsive and friendly, and we are overall very impressed with Criteria!

**What do you dislike about Criteria?**

I found some trouble when trying to add the new CLPT- English assessment but I am assuming that has to do with it just being launched.

We conduct the first parts of our process for franchise ownership recruitment virtually so it is extremely helpful to be able to see a more in-depth interpretation of their skills and personality.

The best part of the Criteria is shortening your shortlist when you have two similar candidates. It also helps break the deadlock when you have to decide between two well-matched candidates.

It's not a foolproof tool.  You need to still trust your instincts, and at times, a low-scoring candidate may turn into a better employee than a high-scoring one.
