I use it to record my voice. I have a lot of voice notes, and sometimes I talk through my ideas and use it to keep track of them. I also use it for meetings, including personal meetings. Some meetings are one or two hours long, and I use it to record them so I can remember the whole conversation. I sometimes use it for group meetings or workshops as well. Most of the time I’m able to record the entire workshop, and if there aren’t too many speakers in the room—if it’s just one, two, or three people talking—it captures almost everything and transcribes it.

I also use it for online meetings on Google Meet and Zoom. It can capture the video feature too. We have the business plan, and with that plan it not only transcribes the audio, but also saves the meeting as a video file. Then we can review the video along with the audio, the transcription, the speakers, and data such as which speakers talk the most, what the most-used keywords are, and who speaks in which areas, so we can analyze these kinds of things in general. I like it. It’s good, and it successfully transcribes audio. Sometimes it even transcribes multiple languages. It doesn't have a nice UX/UI on the desktop or on the web page in the platform. Also, on the phone it doesn't have the best UX/UI, but it is nice. Performance-wise, it is very fast. It is very fast to transcribe the audio when sometimes I speak for one hour, and it is able to transcribe this one hour or two in a couple of minutes. What I dislike is that the UI is not really nice on the phone and on the desktop. I don't like that, when in a Google Meet or Zoom video meeting, the bot is asking permission to join the meetings. Also, in the meetings you see that this is like this person's note takers from five places taking notes. I don't mind the privacy issues, because I always notify people that I am recording.

When I am in a one-to-one meeting, but the person has not takers, I have to note not takers. On my screen I am seeing like six people I am talking to, which is not really looking nice. What I like most about Fireflies.ai is that it automatically records, transcribes, and summarizes meetings, which ends up saving me a lot of time. I use Fireflies.ai to record, transcribe, and summarize my meetings automatically. I really like how Fireflies.ai allows setting up filters so it can join calendar events automatically based on certain terms or times. This feature prevents it from accidentally joining calls I don't want recorded. I also think it's great that I can share transcripts with internal and external users without them needing to create accounts. The AI summaries are incredibly helpful, breaking down action items by individual and providing high-level notes that align with the transcript and recording automatically. The most annoying thing is it will send chats to all people. And then that becomes a kind of a disruptor to the call where people are being pulled into a chat room to see that Fireflies is recording. I feel like it would be better if there was just a beginning of the call audio notification instead of via chat because it also creates multiple chats. The chat feature is disruptive. I like that Fireflies.ai captures and synthesizes all of my meetings each week. It allows me to go back and review meeting notes, track trends across partners and industries, and makes it easy to share those meetings and particular moments of meetings with my teammates. The billing with AI credits is very difficult to track and has caused us to be charged more than I would have normally liked. It also automatically turned on AI credits for some team members that we didn't want them on, and has been tough to manage. My organisation has been using this tool for nearly a year, and as a team lead, I often can't attend multiple client calls at the same time. Fireflies makes it much easier for me to review conversation recordings and fully understand what was discussed. It also assists me in evaluating the quality of calls, so I can follow up with clients if a call did not meet their expectations. Additionally, it enables me to have more productive discussions with my subordinates and provide them with feedback on areas where they can improve their communication skills. I can fully pay attention to the conversation during a meeting because I know Fireflies has me covered with the notes, and also the AI function is great to get quick insights on what happened in a meeting, and for recap emails, it easily integrates into my team's environment. Implementation was so seamless, I've never had to use customer support, but if the product is so good, I'm sure customer support is excellent. I use Fireflies on a daily basis. The transcriptions are accurate, the summaries are detailed, specific, and on point - and I love being able to "ask fred" when I need a very specific detail extracted from a meeting. I find the permissions of fireflies a little confusing. Trying to make sure the notes are accessible by the right people and never visible by the wrong people. they have the functionality, it's just a little confusing to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

2 big pain points:

1) their hubspot integration is unreliable. Tasks often don't get assigned to the right deal/companies, which creates a huge pain in the back

2) their summary emails are full of marketing rubbish. I'm already a paying customer and I don't feel comfortable sharing their summary emails with my clients, why do i have to advertise another company to my clients, although I'm already a paying user?!!! They need to sharpen their summary emails and the meeting notes, as well as removing all that marketing fluff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
