We paid up to access features we needed, but they didn't work without speaking with customer service/tech team. (I'm still waiting for a key feature to work correctly after 2 weeks, for example) Plan tiers also don't really help small businesses who can't afford some things, but need the extra help. As a language coach, I find MeetGeek very useful for keeping track of my sessions and seeing how my clients progress. It's easy to use; it automatically finds my meetings and joins them with little intervention from me. The summaries it provides are good and help me focus on the key points for my next sessions. There are a few quality of life issues that should be addressed. For example, it would be much more convenient to quickly add existing users to a team using a search or autocomplete feature, rather than having to type out each user's full email address to add them to a group, especially when they are already present in MeetGeek. I love that it will automatically join Google Meet and Zoom calls (even if I'm not the organiser).

I love that clicking on a section of the transcription jumps to that section of the video.

I also love that captions are automatically included on the video.

I really like the idea of automatic summaries with to-dos etc. but it doesn't work all that well yet. It always picks up things that aren't action items from the call... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been using Meetgeek.ai for a couple of years now and there are some things that really annoy me. In fact, they annoy me so much that I seriously considered switching solutions. The only reason I didn't is that I have a lifetime deal for Meetgeek.ai and if I switched to an alternative solution, I'd have to pay a monthly fee.

The things that really annoy me:

1. It's slow to add a new meeting. So if I want to create a video showing instructions for someone in my team, I can't just start a new meeting and have meetgeek.ai join straight away. I have to add a meeting to my calendar for at least 5 mins the in the future.

2. It's not that reliable. Several times I've had a crucial meeting not be recorded because the meetbot just didn't show up. Other tools have a 99% uptime guarantee. Meetgeek.ai doesn't. Though they have improved in this area.

3. The ai-generated summaries are woeful. I've had clients email me after receiving one laughing at how bad they are. I’d rather not have them than have such bad ones.

UPDATE: It’s been a while since MeetGeet hasn’t joined a meeting automatically, however, I still don’t fully trust it and use Google’s meeting recording features when I’m interviewing sources as a backup. The AI summaries are also better than they were. But it would be nice if they didn’t summarise the small talk at the beginning of meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The solid implementation with HubSpot is great. Recorded meetings are automatically summarized and sent to meeting notes in HubSpot. This is great for collaboration with team members working on same cases.

Tailoring the summary prompts was never as good as copy pasting the transcript into ChatGPT.
